Cygnus Black was a man who had everything. Or that was how Cygnus felt most of the time. He was happy.
He had a lovely wife, Druella. They might not be in love, but there were friends. They were comfortable around each other and were happy enough in their lives.
And he had three lovely daughters: Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Narcissa.
Bellatrix was the oldest sister. She was beautiful with the Black family eyes and bone structures. She was a fine girl, but even at eleven, she had a fierce personality. Cygnus knew she would be a handful for any husband to handle, but he hoped that as she matured, her personality might calm down a bit. Otherwise, it would be difficult to pair her off with a good wizard.
Andromeda was the middle daughter. She looked a lot like Bellatrix and they could have been mistaken as twins if she had been a little taller or Bellatrix a little shorter. She was a bit more soft-spoken than her older sister. She cared about people and dreamed of becoming a healer to help people. She didn't seem opposed to Half-bloods and Muggle-borns, and Cygnus feared she'd mix with the wrong sort when it was time for her to attend Hogwarts. He just hoped he would be able to steer her in the right direction.
And finally, there was Narcissa, the youngest of the Black sisters.. While Bellatrix and Andromeda had the Black family looks, Narcissa was all her mother. She was blonde and blue-eyed. She had a delicate personality and was a regular Pure-blood princess. Where it would be hard to find a match for Bellatrix, Cygnus knew eligible suitors would be lining up for a chance to marry Narcissa.
The only thing he sometimes felt he was missing was a son, a true Heir, but he had three daughters, and that would have to be enough.
