What the hell was that? She had boobs! Big melons that looked as soft as heaven!

Aomine trudged down the street on his way back to his house, kicking a random bit of trash in frustration.

So, why could I only think of him?

After that rather confusing stint with Kagami's so-called teacher, he had declared boredom, grabbed his shit and left a bewildered redhead behind to ponder his own thoughts. Aomine was not the idiot everyone thought him to be, and he knew now what the pang in his chest was at seeing Emo Boy and Tits McGee being so familiar with his tiger.

"Fuck... I'm jealous." There. He said it. Now, what to do about it?

Well, considering his possessive growl of 'mine,' Aomine could figure only one thing. He wanted to make the redhead his and only his. He wanted to be the only one to touch him, the only one to be touched by him. He wanted… to date him.

Blue eyes went wide as Aomine stopped in the middle of the walkway. That was something he had never considered with anybody. He thought about how Kagami might take it, if he did bring up the idea of dating. That kiss in the shower oh-so-long-ago popped into his head, as well as the look of confusion mixed with just the barest hint of hope on the redhead's face after he pulled away.

Aomine let out a frustrated growl, raking his fingers through his short, unruly hair. The slight pain of strands being pulled from his scalp calmed him for just a moment, helping to reclaim his composure before walking up to his front door. His keys had barely jangled in the lock before the door was being violently thrown open, making him stagger back in barely concealed surprise.

What the fuck's he doing here? He wasn't supposed to be home 'til tomorrow...

Clearing his throat awkwardly, Aomine went to nudge his way past his father to get into the house. He looked up when his father did not move aside, keeping him on the other side of the doorstep.

"Why are you here?" the older Aomine asked coldly. He had only ever used that voice when he was utterly furious, making his son step back again.

Falling into his usual nonchalance when his father was like this was almost difficult. "Well, I do live here. You gonna let me in, or what?"

Dark blue eyes, so similar to his own, narrowed before his father spat viciously, "Your kind are not welcome in my house."

The younger Aomine felt his heart sputter in horror before it dropped down through the earth completely as his father pulled out the home phone message recorder and pushed play.

"Aominecchi!" chirped Kise's annoying voice through the speaker. "You're not answering your cell, so I figured it died or something, but apparently you're not home either..." He babbled for a few more moments about this and that before getting to his point. "Anyway, I just wanted to see if you and Kagamicchi wanted to play some two-on-two with me and Kurokocchi, but I guess you and Kagamicchi are a little busy."

Please, Kise, he begged in his head. Don't say anything else!

"But that's okay because couples need their alone time! Or would that be 'together time'? Either way-"

"Kise-kun!" came a bland, yet sharp reprimand.

Tetsu?

"What?" Kise whined, very much sounding like a scolded puppy. "I just wanted to wish them happiness, what's wro-"

"Aomine-kun's father will be home soon. It would be bad if he heard this before Aomine-kun."

"Crap! I didn't know! I'm so sorry! Please, Aominecchi, get home first!"

The high pitched beep signaled the end of the message, and the end of Aomine's world as he knew it.

"Look, Dad..." he tried to reason with his father.

Aomine Sr. would have none of it and simply hissed, "Get the fuck out of here, you disgusting filth!"

Hiding the cringe his body wanted to do at the stinging insult, Aomine felt his body grow hot with rage. "So that's it, huh?" he spoke quietly. "You're going to kick me out over something so stupid?"

"I will not have an abomination infecting my home! Now, go!" his father all but screamed in his face, spittle flying from his lips as he pointed shakily away from his house.

At that, Aomine finally blew. "You. Insignificant. Prick!" he yelled back, shoving his father backwards a couple steps. "You think you even have a right to call this home? You're only here a few weeks out of the entire fucking year! How dare you try to kick me out, when you don't even fucking know me! Who fucking cares if the person I love is a guy?! You haven't cared about me, your own goddamn son, in my entire life, so don't you dare fucking start now!" Panting from the exertion of belting out his anger, he had no way of reacting in time to the fist connecting to his jaw.

The shock of his rear landing on the ground held him in a daze for a few moments, only coming back to reality when he felt someone grab his elbow to help him up. He heard his father scream more obscenities at him, but they faded away as his feet started walking in the direction he was being pulled. The words echoed in his head with every step he took.

You're not my son.

Putting one foot in front of the other was all he could concentrate on as the world seemed to collapse around him. He never even realized he had climbed stairs until he found himself face to face with a very familiar apartment door.

A/N: Okay, so I know these chapters have been so short the last couple of updates, but time and writer's block has been so mean to me I probably would never get anything posted. So, I'm going to post whatever I'm able to get down (at least to a decent stopping point), and then go back and edit everything so it all runs smoothly. When I say 'edit', I mean to just mash some chapters together.
