"Skye. Will you hurry up!" Ward hissed, sticking his head out of the door.

"I'm nearly there. Stop being impatient."

"She's coming."

"Already?"

"Like I said – hurry up!"

Skye made one last squeeze to the shower gel bottle and placed it back on the shelf before scurrying back to Ward. Together they headed out of the shower room and back towards the lounge.

They sank back into the sofa laughing and pulling the chess board towards them.

The paranormal and unexplained had been non-stop for five weeks since they returned to the 'bus and it was now so quiet so the team was having far too much downtime, which resulted in more pranks than usual.

Ward and Skye were working on one or two spectacular pranks to get even with Amber and May for their hospital visit on their wedding night. They had left it to lull everyone into a false sense of security.

"Amber is going to DIE when she realises." Skye chuckled.

"We just need to wait until date night for May's." Ward said.

Now the team, minus Amber and Kain were paired off Coulson had told them that there would be one night a week when the 'busses couples could go out on their own. The only exception to this would be if they had a case.

"That's tomorrow isn't it?" She asked.

"Providing nothing crops up." Ward told her.

"GGGAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" the bus heard Amber scream, making everyone look up from what they were doing.

Coulson and Ward made their way towards the scream and found Amber in the shower room with a towel wrapped around her.

"What's wrong? You haven't found another pimple have you?" Ward asked with a laugh.

"Look at me!" Amber screeched, turning to face Coulson and Ward, the former recoiling slightly.

"Amber. Why are you green?" Coulson asked her, looking at Ward out of the corner of his eye.

"I don't know! I got in the shower, washed and got out of the shower. I looked in the mirror and this is what I saw!" she cried.

Ward tried to look as innocent as he could, but he clearly wasn't fooling Coulson.

"Try and wash it off. If you can't ask Fitz-Simmons. They may have something that will help." Coulson advised her, pushing Ward out of the door and closing it behind them.

"Really?" he demanded.

"What? I didn't do anything!"

"You swapped her shower gel out for that trick bubble bath didn't you?"

"I didn't." Ward protested.

"Skye swapped it out, but you were definitely involved."

"Maybe." Ward conceded.

"Why her? Everyone but myself, Kain and Simmons played those tricks on you guys."

"There's a reason for everything." Ward told him.

The following night they all congregated in the lounge so they could go their separate ways.

"Ok. So who's going where?" Coulson asked as he waited for May.

"Amber and I are going for ice cream." Kain said, less than thrilled that he was lumbered with Amber, especially as her skin was still green.

Fitz and Simmons had a quick, quiet discussion about where they were going to go.

"We thought about trying that seafood place we found online." Simmons told them.

"We were gonna go there!" Skye exclaimed.

Part of the agreement was that they all went to different places to eat.

"It's ok. We can find somewhere else." Fitz said, pulling the open laptop towards him.

May chose that moment to emerge from her bunk wearing a little black dress. Ward wolf whistled her and she threw a cushion at his head, blushing.

Coulson's jaw hit the floor.

"There is a nice looking Spanish tapas place" Fitz suggested to Simmons.

"Ooo. Spanish. That sounds nice. Where are you two going?" Simmons said to Coulson.

"There is a little Japanese place I know not too far from here."

Pair by pair they left the bus and headed on out into the fresh evening air. That is, everyone except Ward and Skye.

Checking Coulson and May had left in Lola, Ward and Skye sneaked over to Mays bunk and opened the door. Ward lay the bottle of bubbles on her bed, ingredients list up, the one he was allergic to highlighted. Together they rigged the door with the items they had purchased specifically for this torment. When they were satisfied they headed on out into the night.

"She's gonna kill us isn't she?" Skye asked Ward as they took their seats.

"Quite possibly. She might not be so violent if she realises why we did it."

"So thats why you left the bubble bath on her bed!"

"Can I take your order?" the waitress asked.

"Can we just order some drinks for now? We haven't actually looked at the menu." Skye said to her.

"Of course you can."

"A bottle of the house white please." She asked, noticing as she did that the waitress was eyeing Ward up.

"I will go and get that for you." The waitress replied, noting down their order and heading to the bar.

"She was eyeing you up." Skye said to Ward as she studied her menu.

"I noticed." Ward replied studying his own menu.

It took Ward all of one minute to decide what he wanted to eat.

"I can't decide. So many dishes look amazing."

"enie meany miney mo." Ward told her as their waitress approached.

Skye looked at him like he had lost his mind.

"I'll have the crab to start followed by the salmon please." Ward said to her.

"And you miss?"

"Scallops." Skye said a little louder and shorter than she intended.

"Then for my main course I will have the fish pie please." She said, normalising her tone.

"I have your wine, would you like to try it?" The waitress asked Ward.

"Sure." He said as she poured him a small glass.

He picked up the glass, making sure to flash the waitress his wedding ring, swirled the wine around the glass and took a sip.

"That's perfect. Thankyou."

Ward and Skye ate their way through their food, paid the bill and made their way back to the bus.
