Ch 19: Ash vs Erika
It was early in the morning in Celadon city and the sunrise light began to light up Serena's room in the pokemon center.
She slowly opened her eyes and yawned as she stretched her arms out. She closed her eyes again before reaching her arm over around Ash. However, she felt nothing there. She opened her eyes again and saw Ash was gone.
"Huh?" She said. She looked over at the foot of the bed and saw Pikachu was also gone.
"I wonder where Ash and Pikachu went." She asked.
Moments later she got up and put on her shorts and T shirt before she heard a knock on the door. She walked over and opened it to see Brock on the other side.
"Morning Brock." She said.
"Morning Serena. Have you seen Lucy, when I woke up she wasn't in her room." Brock said.
"I don't know I haven't seen her or Ash." Serena said.
"Red and Korrina aren't here either. Maybe they went off to do some aura guardian stuff." Brock said.
"Could be." Serena said.
Elsewhere in the city, Ash, Pikachu, Red, Korrina, and Lucy were synchronizing their aura on top of a massive skyscraper.
Lucy exhaled.
"Been a while since I've been able to do that." She said before turning back to the other.
"So Ash, are you ready for your gym battle today?" Lucy asked.
"My pokemon and I are more than ready for the battle." Ash said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"I have complete confidence in you little bro." Red said.
"I must say it will be nice to see you battle again. Especially since I haven't seen any of these pokemon of yours battle before." Korrina said.
"Which ones are you planning on using anyway?" Korrina asked.
"Wartortle, Bulbasaur, and Butterfree." Ash said.
"A well balanced team." Red said.
"So Lucy, I have to say something to you." Korrina said.
"What?" Lucy asked.
"You obviously like Brock, why don't you do anything about it?" Korrina asked.
"What? That's" Lucy started as she blushed.
"The obvious truth. Don't try to fool us." Korrina said.
"It's complicated." Lucy said as shut her eyes and her face stayed red.
"Complicated my ass. You want him and he clearly wants you, do something about it." Korrina said.
"Yeah like what?" Lucy asked.
"Well how about this." Korrina said before she grabbed Red by the back of his head and passionately kissed him.
Red's face turned red as the others watched. Korrina withdrew and moved a brush of her hair away from her face.
"You could aways do that." Korrina said.
Lucy sighed.
"Well it's getting pretty late in the morning, we should head back to the pokemon center." Ash said.
"Sounds good." Korrina said before she walked over to the side of the building and performed a leap of faith.
Red walked over and also performed a leap of faith, followed by Ash and Lucy.
Back at the pokemon center, Brock and Serena were feeding their pokemon.
"Eat up guys." Serena said before she gave Eevee his morning oran and Pecha berries.
"Eevee!" he said.
The door to the pokemon center opened as Ash and the others walked in. Serena saw them walk over.
"There you guys are, where have you been?" She asked.
"We just went to Synchronize our aura." Ash said.
"Which is always a good time." Korrina said.
Ash and the others let out their pokemon to give them some breakfast before sitting down with Brock and Serena.
"So we have until 2:00 before Erika said the gym would be ready." Ash said.
"That could give us some time to do some shopping." Serena said.
"Yeah." Lucy said.
Ash, Korrina, and Red all sweat dropped nervously.
"Well you know we actually." Red started.
"You have no aura guardian stuff to do." Lucy said.
"You don't know that." Korrina said.
"I do." Lucy said.
"Yes, we do. I have it written down and in our room. Ash could you help me find it." Red said.
"Sure." Red said. Ash followed red to his room and shut the door.
"Alright so what's this mission?" Ash asked.
"There is none, Korrina told me to make one up via aura message." Red said.
"I can't lie to Serena. I mean I guess I sort of told her Pikachu was sick, but I can't ditch out two days in a row. " Ash said.
"Oh come on do you really want to sit at the mall for 4 hours?" Red asked.
"I know it will be boring, but it could be worse. Besides this way all of us can do stuff together. Serena misses you guys too." Ash said.
Red sighed.
"Well I just hope Lucy and Serena don't try to get Korrina to try on a bunch of cloths." Red said.
He reached over to pick up his backpack when the top opened and something spilled out.
"Oh shoot." Red said. Ash knelt down and picked it up.
The object looked like a rock made out of twisted blue leaves. When Ash picked it up he felt a very strange and powerful aura presence around the object.
"Woah what is this?" Ash asked.
Red took the object from Ash and put it back in his bag.
"That's well it's, I'll explain it to you later." Red said.
"The aura around it, it seemed familiar to." Ash started.
"I promise I'll explain it to you later." Red said as he put the bag away.
Twenty minutes later the group stood in the center of the Celadon shopping mall.
"Look at the size of this place." Serena said in amazement.
"Yeah, It's been a while since I've been here." Lucy said.
"It's been too soon since I've been to one of these places." Korrina said sweat dropping.
"When was the last time you went to a mall?" Serena asked.
"The last time you forced me to." Korrina said.
"That was almost 5 years ago." Serena said.
"Too soon." Korrina said.
"Come on Korrina that's too long." Lucy said as she grabbed Korrina's wrist.
"Yeah you have to let us do this for you." Serena said as she grabbed Korrina's other wrist.
Korrina's eyes widened as she was dragged forward into a store.
"No, please!" Korrina shouted as she looked back at Red.
"I have to do something." Red said.
"Of course you do, we're going in too." Brock said as put his hands on the brothers' backs then guided them into the store.
Inside the store Ash and Red were sitting outside the dressing rooms. As Serena tried on cloths, Ash held Eevee in his arms for her.
"Brock why do you like shopping so much?" Red asked.
"Well sometimes I can find good breeding supplies at the mall. As for the clothing stores, they're always filled with so many beautiful girls." Brock said as his face turned red and he looked around at the girls in the store.
"I probably should have figured that." Ash said.
"Poor Korrina, I know how much she hates this." Red said.
Korrina , Lucy , and Serena were in a dressing room together.
"What about this one?" Serena asked as she showed the other two an outfit.
"I like it." Lucy said.
"Korrina?" Serena asked.
"It's precious." Korrina said sounding un-interested.
"Come on Korrina, you have to enjoy making yourself look pretty." Serena said.
"Just because you're an aura guardian doesn't mean you can't take pride in the way you look." Lucy said.
"Guys, this just really isn't my thing." Korrina said. Lucy and Serena both smiled before looking at each other then back at Korrina.
"What?" Korrina asked.
"The thing is we picked out an outfit for you." Serena said.
"Guys, no." Korrina said as she held her hands up.
Korrina now had a look of fear on her face.
"Stay back, I've got hidden blades!" Korrina said as she sweat dropped.
3 minutes later Korrina was wearing a different outfit in front of the mirror.
"You look gorgeous." Lucy said.
"It really brings out your posture." Serena said.
Korrina sweat dropped.
"Alright I tried it on, but there's no way I'm buying it." Korrina said.
"You don't have to, we already bought it for you." Lucy said.
"Now you have to wear it." Serena said.
"How thoughtful of you." Korrina said sweat dropping.
"Well I know what I'm getting." Serena said.
"Me too." Lucy said.
"Let's see what the boys think." Serena said.
Ash and the others were still outside sitting on a bench waiting.
"Been a while since I've had to do this. I certainly haven't missed it." Red said.
"It may not be exciting , but it makes Serena very happy" Ash said.
That was when they saw the girls come out of the dressing rooms. Serena was weairing a black long sleeved shirt with a red collar that had pieces of ribbon coming out of the end and a red bow ribbon in the center and white trimmed ends of the bottom. At the end of the sleeves were red cuffs. She was also wearing a red skirt with white diamonds along the end.
She also wore black leggings with diamond ends with a half a foot between the end of the leggings and the end of the skirt.
Lucy wore a white top with spike like ends colored purple. She also wore a small red jacket over the shoulders and arms.
Korrina slowly came out wearing a white sleeveless dress that changed into a red skirt as it went further down.
"Wow Lucy you look great." Brock said as his face turned red.
"How do I look?" Serena asked.
"You look amazing." Ash said.
"PIka.".
"I see they got you to wear a new outfit." Red said.
Korrina sighed with her head held down.
"Korrina, wait. I think you look beautiful." Red said as he put his hands on her shoulders.
"Really." She said.
"Yes, really." Red said before he gave her a short kiss for a few seconds.
The group remained at the mall for a few hours before 2:00 finally came. Ash and the others stood in front of the gym.
"Alright this is it." Ash said.
"Good luck Ash." Serena said.
"We've got this." Ash said as he held his pokeballs out.
Ash and the others walked inside the gym and into the enclosure area. In the enclosure area they saw Erika's trainers in the Kimono girl outfits and grass type pokemon around them.
Erika was in the center with her Vileplume beside her. Standing in front of her was one of her trainers and a Paras.
"So just keep watching her mushrooms for the next few days and she should be fine." Erika said.
"Thank you Erika." The trainer said. That was when Erika turned and saw Ash with the others standing in the enclosure.
"Well you're right on time." She said looking at her watch.
"I've been looking forward to this." Ash said with his fist held up in front of his face.
Erika smiled.
"I certainly like your enthusiasm. Please follow me." Erika said. She lead them to a large grassy battlefield on the other side of the enclosure.
Erika stood at the far end, while Ash stood at the other end. Serena and the group stood on one sideline while many of Erika's stood at the other.
One took the role as ref and held to flags in her arms.
"The battle between gym leader Erika and challenger Ash Ketchum is about to begin. The battle will be a three on three battle. Only the challenger is allowed to substitute pokemon." The ref said.
"Alright time to show you the beauty and power of grass type pokemon Ash. Go Tangela!" Erika shouted.
A small round pokemon covered in tanglely blue vines with a pair of eyes in the center rand red shoes on the bottom came out.
"What is it?" Serena asked opening her pokedex.
"Tangela, a Vine Pokémon. Its body is wrapped in vines. The rest of its form is hidden beneath these vines."
"It looks strange." Serena said.
"I choose you Wartortle!" Ash shouted.
"Tortle!" Wartortle shouted as he came out and stood in front of Ash.
"A water type? Hmp, you're either arrogant or that skilled. Let's see if it's the latter. Tangela start with Constrict." Erika said.
Her Tangela unleashed 4 blue vines right at Wartortle.
"Use Aqua tail into Rapid spin!" Ash shouted.
"War!" Wartortle shouted as he covered his tail with water then knocked Tangela's vines aside. Once that was done, Wartortle went inside his shell and hurled himself at Tangela hitting her and hurling her back.
"Hmmm, impressive." Erika said.
"Alright Wartortle!" Serena shouted.
"Ash's tactics and training seem as effective as ever." Red said.
"They're basically the same as yours." Korrina said. Despite being smashed into the ground, Tangela got right back up and faced Wartortle.
"We won't be beaten so easily though Ash. Tangle use Ingrain." Tangela began to grow several roots into the ground that brought nutrients to her and replenished her energy.
"She's restoring energy, Wartortle use Skull Bash!" Ash shouted.
Wartortle lowered his head and hurled himself forward at Tangela.
"Constrict." Erika said. Tangela quickly let out four of her vines before wrapping them around Wartortle and constricting him as hard as she could.
"Looks like Erika's Tangela is resilient." Lucy said.
"Ash has gotten out of much worse situations that this." Red said.
"Wartortle use Water gun!" Ash shouted. Despite being squeezed, Wartortle aimed his mouth and unleashed powerful jet of water that hit Tangela dead in the center of her face.
"Gotcha, Wartortle use Aqua tail into Skull Bash!" Ash shouted. Wartortle quickly felt Tangela's grip lessen before he smacked them away with his tail. Once Wartortle was free he aimed his head and launched himself forward .
"Tangela move!" Erika shouted. Tangela tried to move, but her ingrain roots kept her locked in place.
"Tortle!" Wartortle shouted as he smashed into Tangela's chest so hard that he actually tore Tangela and her roots out of the ground.
"Alright Wartortle!" Brock shouted.
"He's doing well." Korrina said.
Tangela landed a few feet away, but just like last time she got right back up.
"That's one tough Tangela." Lucy said.
"She's not tougher than Wartortle." Serena said.
"Tangela use Poison powder." Erika said.
"Wartortle use Water gun." Ash said.
Tangela unleashed a thick cloud of poison power into the air above Wartortle. At the same time Wartortle unleashed a large jet of water into the air that hit the cloud of poison powder. To Erika's surprise, water caught and absorbed the cloud of poison.
"What?" Erika said.
"Thats a new one." Red said.
"Alright Ash!" Serena shouted. The water carrying the poison powder smashed intoTangela and forced her own poison inside her body.
"Oh no." Erika said as she saw her Tangela get poisoned.
"Skull Bash!" Ash shouted. Wartortle lowered his head before propelling himself forward and smashed right into Tangela's face.
"Tangela!" Erika shouted as she saw her pokemon go flying back and land right in front of her with swirly eyes.
"Tangela is unable to battle." The ref said.
"Alright great job Wartortle!" Ash shouted.
"Tortle!" Wartortle shouted.
"Alright, Tangela return, you battled well." Erika said.
"Alright you are as good as you seem Ash. But Tangela will be just a warm up for my next pokemon. Go Victreebel!" Erika shouted as the large flytrap pokemon came out and stood in front of Erika.
"Victreebel use Razor leaf." Erika said.
"Bel!" The flytrap pokemon said as he hurled his leaf arms forward and unleashed a series of sharp spinning leaves at Warotrtle.
"Wartortle use withdraw into Rapid spin!" Ash shouted.
Wartortle got into his shell and spun himself into the air at Victreebel. Inside his shell, Wartortle knocked the incoming leaves aside like they were nothing.
"Vine whip!" Erika shouted.
Victreebel hurled his vine forward and wrapped it around Wartortle's shell.
"Oh no." Ash said.
"Pika." Pikachu said sounding concerned.
Victreebel hurled Wartortle up and over before slamming him into the ground.
"Her Victreebel is good, very good." Brock said.
"They can beat him! Come on Wartortle!" Serena shouted.
"Wartortle use Aqua tail on the vine!" Ash shouted.
"Tortle." Wartortle said as he came out of his shell and covered his tail in water before smashing it into the extended portion of the vine.
As a result Victreebel was dragged forward and onto his stomach.
"Rapid spin!".
Wartortle got into his shell and hurled himself at right into Victreebel's face as he got up.
"Alright great shot Wartortle!" Ash shouted.
"PIka!".
"Victreebel use Sleep powder."
"Wartortle use Water gun." As Victreebel opened his top mouth , he unleashed a thick green powder.
"War!" Wartortle shouted as he opened his mouth and blasted the powder with water and carried it away.
"Razor leaf!" Erika shouted. Victreebel unleashed 2 sharp leaves that came at a curve as Wartortle continued to carry the rest of the sleep powder away. Before he could turn his attention elsewhere , the two leaves cut across his exposed face.
"Tortle." He shouted in pain.
Ash and the others could see how tired and wearing Bulbasaur looked. Ash could also feel Wartortle's weariness.
"Follow up with Vine whip!".
"Rapid spin!" Ash shouted.
Victreebel hurled his vine at Wartortle at the same time, the water turtle got into his shell and hurled himself at Victreebel.
The vine was knocked aside before Wartortle smashed his shell into Victreebel.
"Yes he got him again." Red said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said cheering on Wartortle.
"Vine whip!" Erika shouted. Victreebel hurled his fine backwards and caught Squirtle's shell.
"Uh oh." Ash said.
"Into the air then Leaf blade!" Erika shouted. Victreebel hurled Wartortle into the air before leaping up and slashing him across his chest with leaf blade.
"Tortle!" Wartortle shouted in pain as he was hurled into the ground.
"Wartortle can you get up?" Ash asked.
"Tortle." Wartortle said as he lay on the ground with swirly eyes.
"Wartortle is unable to battle.
"Alright Wartortle return. You did great out there." Ash said as he returned Wartortle and took out his next pokeball.
"I choose you Bulbasaur!" Ash shouted.
"Saur!" Bulbasaur shouted as he came out and stood in front of Ash.
"Wow that's one healthy looking Bulbasaur, you've certainly done a good job of raising him." Erika said.
"Thank you."
"Razor leaf." Erika said.
"Vine whip." Ash said.
Bulbasaur brought out his vines as the sharp leaves flew at him.
"Bulba!" Bulbasaur shouted as he smacked each leaf away.
"Take down!" Ash shouted. Bulbasaur lowered his head and smashed himself right into Victreebel's center.
"Bel." Victreebel grunted as he was pushed back.
"Bulbasaur use Vine whip." Ash said.
"Victreebel use Vine whip into Leaf Blade." Erika said.
As Bulbasaur unleashed his vines at Victreebel. Victreebel unleashed his own vine and wrapped it around Bulbasaur's vines, before pulling him forward and slashed him across the face with Leaf blade.
"Bulbasaur pull him down!" Ash said.
"Bulba!" Bulbasaur said as he moved the ends of his vines around Victreebel's vines then pulled the larger plant pokemon forward and onto the ground.
"Take down!" Ash shouted.
"Sour!" Bulbasaur shouted as he sprinted forward and smashed into Victreebel's chest.
"Bel!" Victreebel shouted in pain before falling over unconscious.
"Victreebel is unable to battle." The ref said.
"Alright great job Bulbasaur!" Ash shouted.
"Pikachu!".
"Yes, that's two down already." Serena said.
"Just one more Ash!" Red shouted.
"Victreebel return, rest well." Erika said.
"Alright you've proven you're not arrogant. But this battle isn't over yet. I still have my most powerful pokemon. Go Vileplume!" Erika shouted.
A large Vileplume came out and stood before Erika. Ash realized it was the same Vileplume that was wounded by team rocket the day before.
"Vileplume use Sweet scent." Erika said.
"Vile." Vileplume said as she opened her plume and let out a musky sweet scent into the air that filled Bulbasaur's nostrils and made his senses go strange.
"Saur." Bulbasaur said as drool came from his mouth and his eyes watered.
"Oh no." Ash said.
"Stun spore." Erika said.
Vileplume opened her plume again and let out a thick cloud of spores that flew onto Bulbasaur and paralyzed his senses.
"Bulba." He said .
"Now Solarbeam!" Erika shouted.
Vileplume took in the sunlight and absorbed the energy before unleashing it upon Bulbasaur.
"Bulbasaur look out!" Ash shouted.
"Pika!" Pikachu shouted.
Bulbasaur was hit with the Solarbeam and hurled back.
Bulbasaur tried to get up but the Ash could feel the Sweet scent and Stun spore was still taking effect.
"Bulbasaur is still paralyzed , I better call him back. Bulbasaur return." Ash said.
"Substituting Bulbasaur was the right idea. He's still got one more pokemon." Red said.
Ash reached for his next pokeball.
"I choose you Butterfree!" Ash shouted.
"Free!" Butterfree shouted as he came out and flew over Ash.
"Well first a grass type, then a water, now a bug/flying type. I'm interested to see what you'll do with an effective type against grass. Vileplume use Poison powder." Erika said.
Vileplume aimed her head plume up and unleashed a thick cloud of poisonous powder up and at Butterfree.
"Gust!" Ash shouted.
"Free!" Butterfree shouted as he violently flapped his wings unleashing a powerful wind that carried the powder back at Vileplume.
"Petal dance." Erika said.
Vileplume opened her petals and unleashed a sea of flower petals into the air at Butterfree. The petals caught the poison powder and carried it back at Butterfree.
"Butterfree use a spinning Steel wing." Ash said. Butterfree covered his wings in metal and then covered his body with them as he flew down and at Vileplume.
Butterfree was able to avoid the poisons powder and opened his wings when he got close to Vileplum.
"Sludge bomb!" Erika shouted.
Her Vileplume aimed her head plume at Butterfree and unleashed a blast of poison that hit him in the chest and hurled him back.
"Free!" He shouted in pain.
"Hold on Butterfree, re-angle your wings and use Steel wing!" Ash shouted.
Butterfree quickly re-angled his wings and flew back at Vileplume before smashing her across the face with his metal wings.
"Great job Butterfree!" Serena shouted.
"Vileplume use Sweet scent."
Vileplime opened her plume and let out a sweet smelling aroma that filled Butterfree's nostrils.
"Free." He said as the scent took its effect.
"Perfect now use Sludge bomb."
"Butterfree you have to move." Ash said.
Butterfree was so flustered from the sweet scent, and stayed where he was before being hit by the Sludge bomb and hurled back.
"Perfect now use Sweet scent again."
"Butterfree use Gust!" Ash shouted.
As Vileplume let out another sweet scent before Butterfree unleashed a gust that forced the aroma back. As the wind carried the scent back it also hit Vileplime and knocked her back.
"Should have known better, Alright Vileplume use Solarbeam."
Vileplume took in the sunlight and aimed her head plume at Butterfree and unleashed a massive beam of solar energy.
"Butterfree use Psybeam!" Ash shouted.
"Free!" Butterfree shouted as his eyes glowed red and he unleashed a beam of psychic energy at Vilepluma's attack. The Psychic energy tore through the solar beam and hit Vileplume in her plume, causing a small explosion.
"Vileplume!" Erika shouted. When the smoke cleared , Vileplume stood covered in soot with swirly eyes.
"Plume." She said before falling over.
"Vileplume is unable to battle. The winner is the challenger." The ref said.
"Alright we did it!" Ash shouted.
"Pika!".
"Free!".
"Ash did it!" Serena shouted.
"I knew he'd do it." Red said.
"Vileplume return. You battled very well." Erika said before she walked over to Ash.
"Well I see you have bested me today. Therefore you have earned the rainbow badge." Erika said as she took out a badge shaped like a multi colored flower petal.
"My fourth badge. We're half way there." Ash said.
Later that night the group was at the pokemon center getting ready for bed. Red was sitting on his bed wearing just a pair of blue shorts with the stone like item from his backpack in his hands.
He stared at it as the bathroom door opened and Korrina came out wearing just her white bra and panties with her hair let down.
"Ohh it feels good to be out of those stupid cloths, they were so uncomfortable." Korrina said as she walked over to Red and laid down beside him. She saw the stone in his hands.
"Finally gotten through all of them?" She asked.
"This was the last one. Quite a tragic but beautiful ending." Red said.
"You know Ash has just as much of a right to see those as you did. You should give them to him before we part ways." Korrina said.
"I was planning on giving them to him tomorrow." Red said.
"Good." Korrina said as she came up and wrapped her arms around his shoulders and rubbed her head against his shoulders.
Red put the stone down before Korrina pulled him back down to the bed and over her. She put her hands around his shoulders and pulled his head down until their lips met.
It was 9:30 in Saffron city and a police officer was walking through the department building to the desk of officer Jenny.
"Ma'am we may have a problem." He said.
"What is it Jenkins?" Jenny asked.
"We've been receiving multiple cases all around the city about simultaneous crimes happening at the same time. But whenever our officers go to investigate, none are reporting back. Security cameras around the city are going down."
Jenny got on her phone and tried calling the mayor.
"What the hell, the phone line is down." She said. Moments later the lights in the police station began to flicker.
Her growlithe began to growl with the other police pokemon as Jenny got up and pulled out her service revolver.
"Ma'am Ma'am!" Another officer shouted as he sprinted in.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"Rocket grunts! They're coming out of alleys and every corner of the city like I've never seen them. Dozens, maybe hundreds!" He shouted.
"This is bad, we need to get the army on the line." Jenny said. Moments later the ventilation shafts burst open as a violet gas filled the room.
"What the hell?" Jenny said.
"Knock out gas!" Another officer shouted.
"Everyone out!" Jenny shouted as she covered her mouth. The officers made for the door but something was blocking it.
""Cough" Ma'am it's blocked." An officer said.
""Cough" Growlithe use Tackle!" Jenny shouted.
The police Growlithe tried to tackle the door, but the Knock out gas was starting to take effect. Several off the officers began to faint and Jenny's vision began to blur.
On the other side of the door a rocket officer and her men each injected themselves with syringe then walked inside.
Officer Jenny who was on her knees saw the green haired rocket officer standing over her.
"Hello officer Jenny." She said before she smashed her foot into Jenny's face.
Elsewhere on the streets, 5 police officers were driving 2 cars away from clouds of gas appearing all over the city.
"Come on we need to get to the hospital and help evacuate." One shouted. That was when they saw a man standing in the center of the road.
"Who is that?" One asked.
The man was wearing power armor that lit up as they approached him. Before the policemen could slam on the breaks he slammed his metal gauntlets into the cars slamming them to a halt. The Policemens' seatbelt saved them from dying but the crash knocked them out.
On the other side the rocket officer stood up with two sentinels beside him.
Elsewhere in the secret aura guardian guild , 5 aura guardians with their pokemon out were preparing to move into the city.
"Alright let's go." The guild master said before the door to the guild opened.
"What the?" The guild master said before they saw a black and red uniformed aura guardian standing on the other side.
"It's the traitor!" One of the guardians shouted. Seir injected himself with a syringe then hurled a gas canister into the room. Knock out gas began to fill the enclave as the guardians and their pokemon began to take it in.
"Gas!" The guild master said as he and his guardians tried to use their aura to protect their lungs. Seir unleashed a burst of aura that hurled the 5 weakened guardians to the ground and destroyed their protection.
Within a few minutes the aura guardians and their pokemon were unconscious. Seir stared at them for a minute before he turned and left. A few sentinels and grunts came in and began taking away the unconscious guardians' hidden blades and handcuffing them.
Several minutes later Seir walked across the streets when he saw another rocket officer in front of him.
"Seir there you are, we've got trouble down at the gym. We sent a team of grunts in to try and capture it, but something happened to them. Boss says you need to take care of it." Duncan said.
Seir nodded before he scaled the side of a building and parkoured across the rooftops. Eventually he performed a leap of faith into a pile of leaves by a park area near the gym.
He slowly walked into the gym and saw it was very dark inside. He used his aura vision to see a pair of men with doctor masks on and white doctor coats on.
"Another intruder, just like the ones who came before." One said.
Seir said nothing.
"You have come for out gym leader, well you are a fool. She will destroy you." The other one said. Seir walked up to the two men and thrusted his hidden blades into their chests. Both men convulsed once before Seir retracted his hidden blades and then continued on.
He entered a large battlefield where he saw 12 rocket grunts curled against the wall with blue energy around them. Each one looking like they were in pain.
Standing at the end of the battlefield was a woman with a red jacket shirt on and long dark green hair.
She stared at Seir with a soulless glance before speaking.
"I am Sabrina, master of Psychic energy. You are a fool for coming here rocket dog, you will suffer the same fate as your grunts." She said as her eyes glowed blue and she unleashed a wave of psychic energy at Seir.
The dark aura guardian was hit with the wave of psychic energy and felt it press against him. He took a deep breath and summed his own aura to shield him from the energy. With his aura around him he began to glow black and stood tall as his eyes began to glow blue.
"What?" Sabrina said very confused at how he was not mobilized.
Seir began to walk forward. Sabrina increased her psychic attack but Seir wasn't affected at all. In panic she used her psychic energy to rip a piece of metal off the wall and hurled it at Seir.
The dark aura guardian acrobatically leapt up and front flipped over the debris as Sabrina launched another. Seir gathered his aura and hurled the object away with a pulse of aura.
Sabrina then used her Psychic energy to take control of the minds of two of the grunts. She then had them draw their electric batons and charge Seir.
Without blinking Seir slammed his hidden blades into the grunts, killing them before pushing them aside with a burst of aura.
Sabrina was now truly frightened.
Seir took a deep breath the unleashed an aura sphere that soared through the air and burst in front of Sabrina, hurling her back into the wall. Before she could even get back up Seir sprinted over and slammed her head into the wall with his right forearm on her neck.
He then held his left hidden blade to her throat.
She began to sweat in fear as she felt her pants grow wet.
"Please don't kill me." She said.
Seir held her up with his hidden blade to her throat for nearly a minute before retracting it and slamming his fist into her face. Sabrina was knocked unconscious and fell to the ground. Seir stood over her for nearly a minute before the grunts got back up and walked over to him.
"We saw what you did sir, mind controlled or not. You can't just kill grunts like that!" One of the grunts shouted.
"When we tell the boss he's." Another grunt shouted before Seir took one step forward and impaled them both with his hidden blades. The two grunts dropped to the ground as the other grunts looked on in fear.
Seir then looked up at them with very threatening eyes.
"Right, the gym leader did that to those grunts." One said as the others agreed. Seir walked out of the gym leaving the frightened grunts to secure Sabrina.

Alright so Saffron city is under Siege from Team rocket. I told you things would get a lot more intense.
As for the object Red had, it may or may not be what you think it is, you'll find out next chapter
