A/N finally I finally saw insurgent today! I wish they would have did more with Marlene though, I thought it was sad that they didn't really show her until she was dead. It would have been way better if they let you get to know her more. Any ways I decided to update for y'all.

Tris pov

We're down in the training room and I'm having a hard time hiding my excitement. I have to look away from the initiates at times. Today we'll play capture the flag. Tobias walks up behind me and puts his hands on my hips. I jump because I didn't hear him.

I notice that none of the initiates are looking so I turn around and kiss him. He smiles at me and says,"you have something else on your mind. I can tell."

"I'm just excited about tonight."

"Me too."

We turn back to the initiates who are still punching the punching bags. That's when I yell,"First Jumper! Last Jumper! In the ring!"

Since the first and second jumpers were Dauntless born, it's the third who was the first. Rye was the third jumper and James was the last.

"You two will fight until someone is knocked out, or gives up."

They nod and enter the ring.

"Go!"I yell.

I watch as they fight. Rye is obviously the bigger one but James might be like me, the underdog. Rye gives a right hand upper cut to his jaw. That hurt James, but he fires back with a punch to the gut. He goes for another but Rye blocks it. He's strong but a little clumsy.

We need to teach him how to not be so clumsy, and we need to teach James how to use that to his strengths. Then James gets punched in the face giving him a bloody nose. "Okay! I'm done!"he yells holding his nose.

He walks away from the ring and I see guilt in the eyes of Rye.

Tobias talks to the initiates as I go to check on James.

He's sitting in the hall before the training room.

"Hey,"I say and sit down next to him.

"I made a fool of myself, you don't have to tell me how terrible I was."

"You didn't do terrible. You just need to work on your endurance and how to use your size to your advantage. Trust me, you can get there."

"You don't understand, you were at the top of your year."

"Actually I do. I started at the bottom. I was almost kicked out because I got beat so bad while fighting. I worked hard so that I wasn't kicked out of Dauntless. You guys have the luxury of not getting kicked out. But believe me when I say you can do it."

"Thanks Six."

"Anytime. And is your nose okay?"

"Yeah."

"You have 5 minutes."I say before I walk inside.

Tobias is watching over another fight. It's Rosemarie vs. Avery. Avery seems to be doing slightly better. She's a bit stronger but at the same time Rosemarie is fast and she seems to realize that.

After a few minutes of Avery scrambling around trying to land a punch, Rosemarie gets a good punch then another and another until Avery gives up. Fight after fight we watch until they have all gone through.

"Initiates, gather around!" Tobias yells after a few minutes of them talking.

They do as he says and he continues,"tonight, as a treat for hard work today, we are going to play capture the flag. A Dauntless tradition. Be ready by 6. Meet at the train."

We release them and then go ourselves after locking up everything. As we walk to the pit, we see Lauren. She has a cast on her leg and is in crutches. "Hey Lauren, how are doing?" Tobias asks her.

"Okay, except for the fact that I can't train this year," She says sadly,"how is Will doing as a trainer?"

"He's doing great! You taught him really well."

"Thanks,"she says.

We all go to dinner and then Tobias and I go to our apartment for a little before we head out for the train.

We all jump on the train where the cart is open. "Hey Chris, hey Will."I say.

"Hey!"they say.

"Alright, Initiates,"Tobias says,"we're playing capture the flag. The teams are Will and I, Vs. Christina and Tris,"then he turns to Chris and I,"you two can choose first."

"Okay..."I say,"Chris, who first?"

"Mmmm...Nikki."

Nikki happily skips to us and says,"Yes! This is gonna be fun!"

"Ethan,"Tobias says.

"James,"I say.

"Em,"says Will.

After choosing, we end up with Nikki, James, Alta, Wen, Dylan, Char, Ross, Mel, Ajax and Rosemarie. Leaving Tobias and Will with Claire, Ethan, Elisa, Avery, Liam, Cole, Rye, Daniel, Mist, Zane, and Jaxson.

"Okay, the rules are we will be in two groups like so and we'll try to get each other's flags. We have these guns right here. The dart is a nerve stimulating dart meaning it will feel like you're actually being shot, but only for a few minutes. So everyone grab a gun and a light."

After we jump off the train, our groups take off in different directions.

"Okay, lanterns off."I say.

"Where should we hide the flag?" Christina asks.

"What about that building?"Alta asks.

I look to the building she's talking about. It's about a mile away and is overgrown with bushes and plants. It wouldn't be a bad idea. It's far enough to be hidden but not too far.

"Anyone disagree?"I ask.

"Do you think it might be too far?James asks.

"No, I think it's a good idea."

"Okay then. It's decided. We'll hide our flag there. Now let's get going before they come find us."
