Ch 26: Thieves in the night
It was nighttime on route 14 and the group was sitting around their campfire finishing their dinner.
"Brock this is delicious." Serena said.
"Yeah great job." Lucy said.
"Thanks guys, but we should really be thanking Serena. She let me use some of the ingredients she got during the festival." Brock said.
"I have plenty, I still can't believe how much we were able to get. I still haven't been able to try on all my new cloths." Serena said.
"Carrying them has certainly been a lot of fun." Ash said sweat dropping.
"Well we made it pretty far today. We should reach the end of route 14 by mid day tomorrow." Brock said.
"You know when we get to Fuchsia city we should check out the Safari zone." Lucy said.
"The safari zone?" Serena asked.
"It's a large nature reserve near the city where hundreds of hard to find pokemon are located. Trainers are allowed inside to catch pokemon, but only under certain rules." Ash said.
"What kind of rules?" Serena asked.
"I'm not exactly sure I haven't actually been there before." Lucy said.
"I hear that you're not allowed to battle with the wild pokemon and can only use a certain type of pokeball." Brock said.
"We should check that out when we get there." Ash said.
Pikachu yawned before stretching. The other pokemon did the same.
"I guess the pokemon are ready to go to sleep." Serena said.
"I don't blame them, it's been a long day and a hot one at that." Lucy said as she wiped a little sweat off her forehead.
"It shouldn't be this hot this late." Brock said as Wartortle walked over and used Water gun to put out the fire.
" Well we should get some sleep. See you guys in the morning." Ash said. Ash was inside his tent and was in just his boxer shorts, much to Serena's delight.
"No gym shorts tonight." She said slightly blushing.
"Too hot." Ash said.
"Yes you are." She whispered to herself.
Serena undid her ponytail then took off her shirt and undid her skirt letting it fall down. Ash saw her in another new set of bra and panties, this one being a sapphire colored and smaller in size than her black ones.
Ash's face turned red.
"Like these ones. I just tried them on this morning." Serena said smiling.
"Uhhh." Ash said. A few feet away Pikachu and Eevee were asleep on a pair of pillows that Serena got them at the festival so they didn't have to compete with them for pillow space anymore.
Serena cuddled up beside Ash, wrapping her arms around his chest and resting her head on his shoulders after giving him a long goodnight kiss.
Because of the heat , neither had any blankets over them. Ash was still awake and looked down at Serena's nearly completely exposed body resting on and against his.
He kept one hand on the side of her head and the other on the back of her panties. Ash wanted to stay up and admire her a little longer but he was too tired, he yawned before falling asleep himself.
Twenty minutes later , while the group was fast asleep several pokemon quietly snuck into the camp.
"Fetch." The leader said as he directed the other pokemon. The pokemon quietly snuck into the group's tents and carefully started taking all of their supplies. Once they had all their supplies, they started taking all their personal belongings, bags, cloths, and everything else.
As a Weepinbell and Spearow carefully took Ash's bag a pair of pokeballs fell out without them noticing. Another 4 pokemon carefully took the pillows with Pikachu and Eevee on them, without waking them.
Once they had everything the pokemon got out of the camp.
Several minutes later Ash awoke to the sound of a Fearow crying out.
"Huh?" Ash said. He looked around and noticed Pikachu was gone.
"Pikachu!" He said.
This woke up Serena who slowly opened her eyes and saw Ash.
"Ash what's wrong, have a bad dream?" She asked.
"Serena Pikachu and Eevee are gone." Ash said.
"What!" Serena shouted as she looked over and saw the two were gone.
"Eevee!" She shouted. That is when the two also noticed all of their belongings were gone as well.
"What the hell is going on? Everything is gone." Ash said before he noticed two of his pokeballs sitting on the ground. He picked them up.
"Well at least Primeape and Ivysaur are still here." Ash said.
"All my pokemon are gone, and all of my clothes." Serena said.
"Mine too." Ash said before they noticed something was left behind. Ash's gym shorts and red t shirt and Serena's blue t shirt. They put them on and got out of the tent to see Brock was up with Lucy. Brock was just in his green shorts and Lucy with just her panties and a black tank top.
"Is your stuff gone too?" Brock asked.
"Yes all of it." Serena said.
"So who would take everything from out camp?" Ash asked.
"Team rocket?" Brock asked.
"Not likely, they would have done something to us while we slept." Lucy said.
"Whoever they were they took Pikachu, which means I can track him through our aura connection." Ash said.
"Alright let's go." Lucy said.
"In our underwear." Brock said as he and the others sweat dropped.
"We don't have much of a choice." Ash said.
Elsewhere on a path between the trees, the group of pokemon carrying the group's things had to move over a few rocks. As they did Pikachu and Eevee fell off the pillows and landed on the ground at the same time several pokeballs fell out of a few of the bags.
"Pika." Pikachu said rubbing the back of his head as he opened his eyes.
"Pika?" Pikachu said confused that he was in the woods.
"Eevee?" Eevee said as he looked around for Serena , but couldn't find her.
"Eevee!" He shouted sounding scared.
"Pika." Pikachu said as he walked over to him.
"Pika, PIkachu." He said trying to calm him down, saying everything would be alright. Pikachu then saw the other pokeballs laying on the ground. He went over to each and let out the pokemon inside.
Charla, Geodude , Seviper, Haunter, and Wartortle all came out and yawned.
"Char?" Charla said sounding confused at why they were in the woods.
"War?"
"Haunt?".
"Seviper?".
"Pika, Pikachu." Pikachu said as he tried to calm everyone down.
"Alright guys we need to figure out what's going on and how we ended up in the middle of the woods." Pikachu said in pokemon tongue.
"We weren't abandoned were we? I've been abandoned before." Wartortle said with an unsettling look.
"Come on you have an aura connection with Ash, do you really think he'd do that do us?" Pikachu asked.
"Lucy would never abandon me either." Seviper hissed.
"Alright we've established that we weren't abandoned, then why are we here?" Geodude asked.
"I don't know, but I think the best course of action would be to find Ash and the others." Pikachu said.
"I disssagree. It is possssible we were kidnapped and they already have Lucy and the othersss." Seviper asked.
"I don't know, but what if Seviper is right and they're in trouble?" Charla asked.
"If they are we need to find those who kidnapped us and make them tell us where our trainers are." Geodude said.
"Well we could always try to feel Ash's aura and see what kind of mood he's in." Pikachu said.
Ash's pokemon concentrated on their connection to him and despite their distance from him, they could feel he was feeling very distressed and worried.
"Ash is feeling worried and very distressed." Wartortle said.
"Ssssssso is Lucy." Seviper said.
"Maybe they're captured and that's why they're feeling that way." Charla said sounding worried.
"No, we're never going to see them again." Eevee said as his eyes started to tear up.
"No! We're going to find them and save them!" Geodude shouted.
"Guys we don't even know if they are kidnapped." Pikachu said.
"Well they're clearly distressed." Haunter said.
"It could be that they're kist worried that we're missing." Pikachu said.
"Or they're kidnapped like we were and haven't essssscaped." Seviper said.
"We need to find the kidnappers, and make them pay." Haunter said.
Pikachu sighed and sweat dropped. He hoped the others would listen to him, but he was alone.
"Let'ssssss find thosssse dirty kidnapperssss." Seviper hissed.
"We need to find our trainers!" Pikachu almost shouted.
"If we find the kidnappers we find our trainers." Geodude said.
Seviper smelled the ground.
"I can ssssmell Lucy'ssssss ssssssscent from thissssss path, and the ssssssssssscent from multiple different pokemon." Seviper said.
"Let's follow it!" Wartortle said as he lead them down the path. Eevee stayed close to Charla as Pikachu sweat dropped and sighed again.
"Do I follow them or try to find Ash and the others?" Pikachu said. He looked at them and sighed again.
"I better stay with them." Pikachu said sweat dropping before he followed the group of pokemon.
Elsewhere Ash and the others were still looking for their pokemon. Ash was trying to find Pikachu's aura trial.
His eyes were glowing blue as he used his aura vision.
"Find anything?" Lucy asked.
"I can see traces of Pikachu's aura, I can feel his a bit distressed from his aura." Ash said.
"Is he in trouble?" Serena said sounding very worried for their pokemon.
"Well I can tell he concerned, but he seems more worried about finding us and some of the other pokemon he's with." Ash said.
"Maybe they think we've been kidnapped by whoever took them." Brock said.
"But who did take them, is the question." Lucy asked.
Moments later Ash saw movement around them through his aura vision.
"Guys, we're not alone." Ash said. He considered drawing his hidden blades when he realized that they were pokemon.
"Guys they're pokemon." Ash said. Moments later two Bellsprout, a pair of Pidgey, a Gloom, and a Venonat all leapt out of the bushes and from behind the trees at them.
All of the pokemon seemed very aggressive and hostile towards the group. Lucy and Ash could also see this through the pokemons' aura.
"Nat!"
"Bel!"
"Gloom!" The pokemon shouted angrily.
"Look we don't want any trouble." Brock said holding his arms up.
"We're just looking for our pokemon." Ash said as he and Lucy tried to reach out to the pokemon with their aura and convince them they were friendly.
Before they could the two Bellsprout let out a series of razor leaves at them.
"Look out!" Serena shouted. The group quickly dove out of the way before they were hit.
One of the Pidgey flew at Ash and Serena while the other flew at Lucy and Brock. When the first flew at Ash, he thrusted his palm forward and unleashed a pulse of aura that hurled the Pidgey back.
At the same time Lucy generated a small barrier of aura that Pidgey slammed into and then fell to the ground.
Ash quickly let out Primeape and Ivysaur.
"Ape!" Primeape shouted.
"Ivysaur!".
"Primeape use Karate Chop!"
Primeape lunged forward and smashed the two Bellsprout before they could launch another attack.
The two pokemon were launched into a tree with swirly eyes.
"Bell."
"Sprout." They said.
The two Pidgey flew at Ivysaur trying to use wing attack.
"Vine whip!" Ash shouted. Ivysaur unleashed 4 strong vines that encircled and squeezed the two Pidgey.
"Saur!" Ivysaur shouted as he hurled the two Pidgey forward and into the Gloom and Venonat, knocking them all into the ground.
"Cross chop and Double edge!" Ash shouted.
Ivysaur and Primeape leapt forward before the pokemon could get up and unleashed their attacks.
When the pokemon got back up they scurried away with the two Bellsprout as fast as they could.
"That was weird, those wild pokemon worked together like they were part of some kind of gang." Brock said.
"It is, I'm guessing they had something to do with our missing stuff." Lucy said
"Which means that they probably have something to do with our missing pokemon. We should follow them." Ash said.
"Saur." Ivysaur said nodding.
"Let's go." Brock said as the group quickly followed after the pokemon.
Elsewhere Pikachu had caught up with the other pokemon.
"Alright we've been going down this trail for a while now, any news?" Charla asked Seviper.
"Yesssssss, the sssscent of the pokemon and our trainerssssss getting ssssstronger." Seviper said. As they continued walking Pikachu and Charla noticed Eevee looking very sad.
"Eevee, everything is going to be alright. We'll find them." Charla said.
"Will we, when I became separated from my mother I never saw her again." Eevee said.
Pikachu and Charla sweat dropped.
"This is completely different." Pikachu said.
"No it's not, my mother was taken by someone just like Serena." Eevee said.
"We don't know if they were taken by anyone." Pikachu said.
"So we don't even know if we're going the right way towards them." Eevee said as his eyes began to tear up.
Charla and Pikachu sweat dropped again.
"No that's not what he meant." Charla said.
"What I meant was maybe they're out here looking for us too." Pikachu said.
"But if they're looking for us and aren't in the hands of the kidnappers, then why are we following the kidnappers?" Eevee asked.
Pikachu sweat dropped.
"That's what I said."
"Well we don't know that either." Charla said.
"So we don't know where they are at all." Eevee said with his eyes tearing up again.
Pikachu and Charla both sighed as they sweat dropped.
That was when Pikachu heard something with his advanced sense of hearing.
"Huh?" He said as as he looked around.
Seviper let his tongue out again and looked around.
"I sssssmell sssssssomething, or ssssssomeone. They're clossssse." Seviper said as he looked around.
"Who's here?" Eevee said sounding scared.
The pokemon made a circle surrounding Eevee.
"Who's there?" Haunter said.
"Show yourself." Wartortle said.
Moments later a Meowth, a Bellsprout, a Pinsir, A Spearow, and a Pidgey came out and tried to surround them.
"Who are you guys? This is our territory and we haven't seen you around here before." The Meowth said.
"We're just looking for our trainers." Pikachu said.
"You, you're the pikachu from the camp of humans we raided." The Pinsir said.
"So you raided the camp!" Wartortle shouted.
"So you're more outsiders, leave this place!" The Spearow shouted.
"We're not leaving until you return our trainersssssss." Seviper hissed.
"Leave!" Meowth shouted as he let out his claws and leapt at Pikachu.
Pikachu leapt up and smashed the Meowth's claws away with his Iron tail before blasting him with electricity and hurled him back.
At the same time the Pinsir tried to lock his pincers around Charla who covered her fists in fire then grabbed the pincers and held them in place before she unleashed a flamethrower right in his face. The Pinsir stumbled backwards with swirly eyes before falling over.
The Bellsprout unleashed two razor leaves at Haunter only to have them get knocked away by Shadow claw then have Haunter blast Bellsprout with Shadow ball.
The Spearow flew down at Geodude as he curled himself up and rolled into the smaller bird, hurling him back and into a tree.
The Pidgey tried to fly in and peck Seviper only to be engulfed in a mighty jet of fire from Seviper's mouth.
"Ot." Pidgey said as he coughed out some soot.
"Woah." Eevee said amazed at what he had just seen. He had seen battles before, but never this close. It was amazing, they weren't helpless, they could all fend for themselves so easily.
"Run!" Meowth shouted.
The pokemon ran away as quickly as they could with Haunter in hot pursuit.
"Haunter wait!" Pikachu shouted.
"They're getting away!" Haunter shouted.
"We need to stick together." Charla said.
"Ssssshe'ssss right, bessssssidessss, I have they sssssscent. I can track them." Seviper said.
"So that Meowth said more intruders, do you think the others he was referring too are our trainers?" Wartortle asked.
"Maybe, but we can't know for sure until we catch them." Geodude said.
"Guys maybe we should try to find the group now." Pikachu said.
"That'ssssss what we're doing." Seviper hissed.
"But what if they're looking for us and we're just getting farther from them?" Pikachu asked.
"What if they're being held hostage and need our help? Haunter asked.
"Ash and Lucy are aura guardians I think they can handle some wild pokemon." Pikachu said.
"That isssssss a good point." Seviper hissed sweat dropping.
"Then what do we do?" Geodude asked.
"I say we continue perusing those pokemon in case our trainers re by them. I mean they're the only link to what happened we've seen so far." Wartortle said.
"I agree" Haunter said.
"So we just keep following them?" Charla asked.
"It appearssssssssss sssssso." Seviper hissed.
Pikachu sighed as the others continued to follow after the pokemon. He reluctantly followed , staying close to Eevee.
Meanwhile in a large grove area filled with pokemon , a Farfetch'd used his stick to direct a group of pokemon as they set down the things they had taken from the group's camp.
"We've got more!" He shouted happily. They placed the harder things along side the other human items they collected. They placed the groups' softer things like cloths, cloth, and pillows, and backpacks in a large pile like structure as two Gloom and two Moewths walked to the top of the pile then to the inner center that crested in.
"We certainly got a lot tonight , maybe we can." The Farfetch'd started before a pokeball fell out of Ash's backpack.
All of the pokemon in the area turned as they saw the pokeball open and a massive Charizard come out.
"Huh?" The Farfetch'd said in confusion.
Charizard yawned as he opened his eyes, got up and stretched.
"Huh?" Charizard said as he looked around and saw the pokemon.
"Where am I, where's Ash and the others? How did I end up here? Who are you pokemon? He asked.
"An outsider ! And he's at the center!" The Farfetch'd shouted.
"What? What did I do?" Charizard asked as he sweat dropped.
"Stop him!" Farfetch'd shouted as he aimed his stick at Charizard. A pair of Bellsprout ran at him with a Venonat and a Meowth.
The Bellsprout unleashed razor leaves as the Venonat unleashed an Acid.
"Burn!" Charizard roared as he opened his mouth and unleashed a massive jet of fire around him that completely consumed the attacks and the Bellsprout.
The Venonat and Meowth backed up as Charizard hurled his wings across the fire. The gust of air forced the fire to move further and consumed the remaining two pokemon at the same time his wings smashed across their bodies, hurling them back.
Farfetch'd and the other pokemon sweat dropped and backed up.
"Who's next!" Charizard roared.
Moments later the two Gloom on the pile of clothing and cloth reappeared and unleashed a thick cloud of stun spores from above that completely covered Charizard before he could even notice.
"Gahh!" Charizard grunted as he struggled to maintain his composure.
"Hurry use sleep powder!" Farfetch'd shouted.
The two Gloom were about to use sleep powder when Charizard struggled to turn his head. Luckily ,his strength and endurance allowed him to unleash a powerful dragon pulse that hit and hurled the two Venonat off the pile of clothes.
Another 4 Bellsprout rushed forward on the ground and unleashed a massive cloud of sleep powder at him.
"Sleep!" One shouted.
Charizard did his best to stay awake, but the sheer amount of Sleep powder plus the stun spores was enough to do it. Charizard fell to the ground fast asleep.
"Whew, that was close. We need to keep him away before he infects the rest of us." Farfetch'd said.
Meanwhile back in the pokemon group Eevee walked up to Pikachu and Charla.
"Wow, you guys were amazing back there. I've never seen you fight that close before." Eevee said.
"Well it's all a part of being trained. You'll be more powerful than you ever could be in the wild." Pikachu said.
"I wish I could battle like that, then maybe I could grow up to be tough just like my mom." Eevee said.
"You know Eevee you could start training. We just have to let Serena know and she'll start training you." Charla said.
"Yeah! I'll make my mom proud" Eevee said.
Pikachu noticed Charla get a bit of a depressed look on her face as she slowly moved towards the back of the group.
"Are you ok?" Pikachu asked as he walked back towards her.
"It's just Eevee talks about his mom a lot and well. It just keepings reminding me of what happened to my parents,with team rocket." Charla said.
Pikachu wanted to comfort her, but honestly he couldn't really relate to that. He knew his paretns until he evolved into a Pikachu, then his father told him he should try to make it on his own.
It was about a year later he was caught by Oak.
"Well there's nothing wrong with being sad about that. I can't imagine loosing your parents at such a young age. But you also have to keep in mind that they would want you to live. Not dwell on it the rest of your life. But like I said , there's nothing wrong with being sad about it." Pikachu said.
"I guess you're right. Besides Serena has been great, she's been like an adoptive mother to me and I've grown so much being with her." Charla said.
"Exactly, you'll always have family." Pikachu said. Charla than changed her expression.
"So you've known Charizard for some time now. Was he ever really in love with Serena's Delphox?" She asked nervously.
"Well , they're relationship was complicated. At first it seemed like they had a crush on each other. Then after Ash and Serena got together they did to. They grew as Ash and Serena did until he evolved into Charizard. After the incident he dissed her and she didn't want any part of him until she evolved into Delphox."
"Then they got back together?" Charla asked nervously.
"Yes, they did. Only temporarily though, after Serena caught Zorua , Delphox started to take a liking to him. At first Charizard was just annoyed of it, until Delphox started to get more serious about it. He was about ready to kill Zorua but after he evolved Delphox decided to be with him. Charizard was heartbroken for a bit , but eventually got over her." Pikachu said.
"So he's completely over her?" Charla asked.
"Charla trust me he and Delphox are over and on good terms." Pikachu said.
""Sigh" That's a relief….Does… Does he ever talk about me?" Charla asked nervously.
Pikachu sighed.
"Charla, I don't think I should talk about this behind his back." Pikachu said.
"Come on PIkachu I need to know." Charla said.
"The thing is he thinks highly of you, and admires you as a pokemon." Pikachu said.
Charla's face turned red.
"He really does." She asked.
"Yes, but keep in mind Charla I agree with him when he said he's a bit old for you. I mean he's been a Charizard for over 5 years now, he was probably a Charizard before you even hatched." Pikachu said.
"I don't care, it's not like he's an old Charizard or anything. It could work, maybe someday when I'm a Charizard we could be together." Charla said.
"Huh, he did say to me a few days ago that if only you had been a Charizard when he first met you. Then maybe something would have happened between you two eventually once he got to know you better." Pikachu said.
"He said what!" Charla shouted with her face completely red and her eyes sparkled.
"Oh wait, I wasn't suppose to say that." Pikachu said waving his hands and sweat dropping.
"So since we've had all this time to know each other , all I have to is evolve and we can be together!" Charla shouted.
"That's not what I'm saying."Pikachu said.
"We need to find the pokemon horde and defeat them! I need to gain more experience and evolve!" Charla shouted as she rushed to the front of the group.
"Oh Charizard is going to kill me." Pikachu said as he sweat dropped.
Meanwhile Charizard slowly opened his eyes to see Farfetch'd in front of him.
"You." He started before he something around his neck and his energy being sapped. He slowly turned his eyes to see two Pinsirs had their pincers held tightly around the top of his neck. He also saw stun spores all over his body as well as Leech seed roots holding down his arms and legs as they sapped his energy.
"You're one powerful Charizard. It took a lot of work to restrain you." Farfetch'd said.
"Why are you doing this? I did nothing to you" Charizard asked.
"Oh but you did, your simple presence inside our home is a threat to us with your diseases. They won't claim any more of us " Farfetch'd said.
"What are you talking about?" Charizard asked.
"Hit him again!" Farfetch'd shouted. Two Gloom hit him with another pelting of Stun spores.
"Gahh!" Charizard groaned.
Elsewhere Ash and the others were still following the pokemon they had just battled. Ash and Lucy were using their aura vision to trying to follow the pokemon.
"Ok how close are we?" Serena asked.
"Not to far, we're close on their trail." Ash said.
A few moments later they saw something ahead of them. It looked like a makeshift wall barrier made of rocks, fallen trees, overturned tables, as well as other items like rope, backpacks, tent metal supporters , metal cases, and boxes.
"What is that?" Brock asked.
"It looks like some kind of makeshift barrier." Ash said.
"Did those pokemon build it?" Serena asked. Moments later they noticed the pokemon they had battled scaling the wall.
"Look it is their wall!" Lucy shouted.
Moments later another Gloom and two Bellsprout appeared on top of the wall scowling at the group.
"Gloom!" The Gloom shouted as she unleashed an acid from her mouth as the two Bellsprout unleashed razor leaves.
"Ivysaur use Razor leaf into Vine whip!" Ash shouted.
"Saur!" Ivysaur shouted as he unleashed a furry of leaves that hit and cut through the acid, carrying the liquid away bit by bit.
He then unleashed 4 vines that smacked the leaves out of the way.
"Primeape use Focus Punch!".
Primeape gathered his energy and focus then opened his eyes as his right first started to glow red with energy and leapt into the wall before smashing it with focus punch.
The moment after the entire wall was torn apart and fell to the ground as the 3 pokemon on top of the wall fell to the ground and slammed.
As Primeape stood on top of a remaining table he held his arm up victorious over the swirly eyed grass pokemon.
"So if there was a barrier then that means there must be something it is meant to protect." Lucy said.
They walked over the destroyed barrier and saw a relatively open grove area with a small pond nearby and over 2 dozen wild pokemon. Consisting of Bellsprout, Meowth, Venonat, Spearow, Gloom, Pidgey, and Pinsir.
The pokemon had made up a form of camp with many poached human things.
"Look our stuff!" Serena shouted.
A few minutes prior Charla was leading the group across the route.
"Smell anything Seviper?!" Charla shouted with anticipation.
"Nothing yet, what'sssss got you sssssso anxsssscious?" He asked.
"I need to battle those pokemon and get more experience so I can evolve and be with the love of my life!" Charla shouted.
"Why did you have to tell her that?" Haunter asked Pikachu.
"Yeah this is getting out of hand." Wartortle said.
"I know, I tried to set her straight but she won't listen. Charizard is going to hate me for this." Pikachu said.
"Hey what's that?" Geodude asked.
The pokemon came across a makeshift wall barrier made of rocks, fallen trees, overturned tables, as well as other items like rope, backpacks, tent metal supporters , metal cases, and boxes.
"A wall?" Haunter asked.
"What's it doing here?" Eevee asked.
Moments later a Bellsprout and two Meowths appeared on top of the barrier.
"Look more of the pokemon pack!" Seviper shouted.
"You're the outsiders the others told us about, leave our home before you spread more of your sickness and misfortune!" one of the Meowth's shouted.
"We're getting in there." Pikachu said sounding determined.
"No you're not!" The Bellsprout shouted as he unleashed a razor leaf attack.
"Stand aside!" Charla shouted smiling before her tail flame grew larger and she unleashed a powerful jet of fire that engulfed the razor leaves and the three pokemon on top of the barrier.
The Bellsprout was knocked out and the two Meowth's bent over trying to regain their composure.
Charla quickly scaled the wall and covered her fists in fire before smashing the two Meowth's across the face with fire punch.
Geodude curled up then rolled into the barrier, smashing it into pieces as Charla leapt down.
"Come on let's go!" Charla shouted as they ran in.
As the pokemon ran into the grove they saw a small pond with over 2 dozen pokemon around the area and several assortments of human items.
"What is this place?" Haunter asked. When the pokemon there saw them they quickly backed up looking afraid.
"There they are." Charla said as she got in an aggressive stance.
Ash and some of the other pokemon felt something. They turned to see none other than their trainers standing a few yards away from them.
"Ash!" Pikachu shouted.
"Pika!" Ash heard. He turned and saw their pokemon standing there.
"Guys it's the pokemon!" Ash shouted.
The two groups rushed at each other and met. Serena quickly picked up Eevee and held her other arm around Charla.
"I was so worried about you guys." She said.
"Eevee!".
"Char!" They said sounding relieved they found her.
"Did you guys keep the group together?" Ash asked Pikachu and his other pokemon.
"Pika." Pikachu said sweat dropping.
"So wait where are the rest of our pokemon?" Brock asked.
"They're probably still in their pokeballs." Ash said.
"Char!" The group heard Charla shout out in fear.
The group looked over as the wild pokemon formed a line with a Farfetch'd in the center. Behind him was none other than Charizard who was being held down by roots and had two Pinsir's pincers around his neck.
"Charizard!" Ash shouted.
The Farfetch'd held his stick to Charizard's head and shouted at the group.
"Fetch! FarFetch!" .
"Pika , Pikachu!" Pikachu shouted with his cheeks sparking.
"Fetch!".
"What's he saying Pikachu?" Ash asked. Pikachu told him through their aura connection. Apparently the Farfetch'd wanted them to leave and never come back before they spread their horrible illnesses.
"Spread out illnesses? Oh never mind, Pikachu tell that Farfetch'd that we're not leaving until they return our pokemon and our stuff." Ash said.
"Pika." Pikachu said nodding before he turned to the Farfetch'd and growled at him.
"Pika Pikachu!"
"Fetch." Farfetch'd said back.
"Pika." Pikachu said sweat dropping.
"What did he say?" Serena asked.
"He said that he's not giving any of our stuff back including our pokemon. He also said that they're not letting Charizard leave containment and risk infecting them." Ash said.
"Char." Charla growled as her face turned red in range.
Without warning she sprinted forward and covered her claws in fire before slamming one into the Farfetch'd, hurling him back.
"Char!" Charla shouted. Charizard opened his eyes and saw Charla in front of him.
"Charla what are you doing?" Serena shouted.
The pokemon tried to surround Charla when Farfetch'd got up and motioned them to stop with his stick.
Moments later a pair of purple pokemon moved beside Farfetch'd. They were small and looked like blob s with faces.
"What are those?" Serena asked.
"Ditto, the Transform Pokémon. Ditto has the ability to reconstruct its entire cellular structure into whatever it sees." The pokedex said.
"Fetch" Farfetch'd said. The two Ditto began to change their forms. Ash and the others' eyes widened as they saw the two Ditto had turned themselves into Charizards.
"Oh no." Serena said.
"Wartortle, Pikachu go help her." Ash said.
"Char!" Charla shouted as she shook her head.
"Huh?" Ash said.
"You want to fight them on your own?" Serena asked.
"Char!" Charla growled with a determined look on her face. Charizard was amazed that Charla was about to fight two Charizards alone. But why would she do that?
"She can't fight two Charizards alone." Serena said.
"Well those aren't real Charizards, they're just Ditto. They aren't as powerful as real Charizards, so Charla may have a chance." Ash said.
"Fetch!" Farfetch'd shouted pointing his stick at Charla.
The two Ditto opened their mouths and unleashed a pair of flamethrowers.
"Charla dive forward then use Fire punch!" Serena shouted.
Charla dove forward just in time to avoid the fire then summersaulted right in front of the Dittos. Before they could respond, she slammed her flaming fists into their stomachs, forcing them back several feet.
"Great job Charla." Serena said.
"Fetch!" Farfetch'd shouted.
The two Ditto came back one using slash as Charla backed up.
"Charla use Fire spin to knock his arms away then use Fire punch!".
"Char!" Charla shouted as she unleashed spinning torrent of fire that hit the Ditto in his chest, and making him move his arms.
Before Charla could use Fire punch, the second Ditto came from behind and slashed her in the back.
"Char." She grunted.
The second Ditto raised his other claw to slash her again.
"Charla dive under his legs!" Serena shouted.
Charla dove under the second Ditto's legs and whipped her tail around, knocking him off balance and making him fall onto the other Ditto.
"Flamethrower!' Serena shouted.
"Char!" Charla shouted as she opened her mouth and unleashed a powerful jet of fire, larger than her normal ones.
"Wait does that Flamethrower look bigger to you?" Serena asked.
"It does." Ash said.
Charizard noticed this as well.
"Grauu." He said in amazement.
"Fetch!" Farfetch'd shouted. The two Dittos opened their mouths and unleashed a pair of smokescreens that obscured everything.
"Oh no Charla look out!" Serena shouted.
Charla tried to see through the smoke but couldn't. She was then hit with a relentless barrage of slashs's and bursts of fire.
"Char." Charla grunted.
"Charla hold on!" Serena shouted.
"Grauu!" Charizard roared as loud as he could to her.
"Char, Char!" Charla shouted as her tail flame grew over twice its normal size.
"Look her Blaze activated!" Brock shouted.
"Perfect , Charla Flamethrower!" Serena shouted.
"Char!" Charla roared as she opened her mouth and let out an ocean of fire that engulfed the two Dittos, forcing them back.
"Fire fist! Serena shouted. As the two Dittos tried to recover Charla came charging at them and smashed her flaming fists into their faces.
" Fetch!" Farfetch'd shouted. The two Dittos slammed into the ground and reverted back to their normal forms with swirly eyes.
"Fetch." Farfetch'd said shaking his head. That was when he noticed Charla in front of him.
"Char." She said growling before she started to glow white and grow larger.
"Charla." Serena said as her eyes widened.
"She can't be." Brock said.
Charizard's eyes also widened as Charla completed her evolution.
Farfetch'd looked up as he saw a Charizard standing in front of him.
" Fetch." He said sweat dropping.
"Grauuu!" Charla roared as she unleashed a massive jet of fire that engulfed Farfetch'd. When the fire ended Farfetch'd was covered in soot and coughed some out before falling over. Charla then turned to Charizard and unleashed another jet of fire that engulfed the Pinsirs and burned off the stun spores and leech seed roots.
She then rushed over and helped him up.
Serena rushed over and hugged Charla.
"Charla I can't believe you evolved, and saved Charizard." She said.
Charla hugged Serena back, two tears of joy came out of Charla's eyes. So happy that she evolved.
"I huh first Ivysaur, then Nidorina , now Charla. Three evolutions so quickly?" Brock said.
"It's almost like they were suppose to evolve sooner but it didn't happen and they're evolving now to make up for it." Lucy said.
"Alright now that that's taken care of , let's get our stuff." Ash said.
The group went over and started collecting their belongings as Pikachu and the other pokemon noticed the wild pokemon looked extremely depressed.
The Farfetch'd got up and Pikachu noticed tears in his eyes.
"Fetch!" He shouted as he began to sob.
"Is he crying?" Ash asked.
"Pika?" Pikachu walked over to the Farfetch'd and asked why he was crying.
"Fetch." Farfetch'd said sniffling.
"Pika." Pikachu said before he turned to Ash and explained what Farfetch'd said.
"Ohh, it all makes sense now." Ash said.
"What happened?" Serena asked.
"Apparently this Farfetch'd is the leader of this pack of pokemon. A week ago a Nidoran that was owned by a family met them but had the flu and gave it to a few of their pokemon. Now they think any outsiders are going to get them sick too. Not only that, but they started taking human stuff to protect themselves and provide shelter for their sick." Ash said.
"Haunt!"
"Seviper!" Haunter and Seviper shouted as they pointed into the center of the large pile of clothes.
The group went up there and looked into the center to see 7 sick pokemon with clothes over them. It was a Meowth, a Bellsprout, a Gloom, a Pidgey, two Spearow, and a Ditto.
"Meowth." The Meowth coughed.
"Those must be the sick pokemon." Lucy said.
"Aww guys, you don't have to be afraid of people and pokemon you haven't met before. You aren't all going to get diseases from anyone you haven't met." Serena said.
"Well now that I have my medicine back maybe I can do something about their flus." Brock said. he opened his bag and took out some medicine. A few minutes later after he finished the pokemon got up feeling a lot better.
"Spear." One of the Spearow said smiling.
"There , your flus should be gone completely by morning." Brock said.
The pokemon around them all began to cheer.
"Fetch!" Farfetch'd shouted sounding overjoyed. He walked over to Pikachu and Ash.
"Fetch, Farfetch'd." He said.
"Pika." Pikachu said smiling. Farfetch'd apologized for everything that he and his friends had done and wanted to thank them for helping cure their friends.
"It was nothing Farfetch'd, just remember to be nicer to strangers." Ash said.
"Fetch." Farfetch'd said nodding.
Meanwhile Charla helped Charizard get up before he turned to her. Despite evolving into Charizard, Charla was still considerably smaller than Ash's Charizard since he was older than her.
"Grrauu." He growled thanking her for what she had done and that he was proud of how she evolved.
"Grauu." Charla growled blushing. She then rubbed her head against his as she tightened her arms around his body.
Charizard's face shot red before he tried to back up and away from her.
"Grauu?" He growled asking what she was doing.
"Grauu." She said with tears in her eyes explaining what Pikachu explained to him.
Charizard's face shot red with rage as he turned to Pikachu.
"Pika." Pikachu said with a distressed smile and a sweat drop.
"Grauu!" Charizard roared as he chased Pikachu around the grove.
"What's gotten into Charizard?" Serena asked. Ash who understood what they were saying sweat dropped.
"You're gonna love this one." Ash said.

"Come on man 3 evolutions in 3 chapters", "Seriously 3 evolutions right after each other that's just stupid."...I don't want any reviews like those ones...
I know I've had 3 chapters in a row each with an evolution, I even made a joke about it in case you missed it where Lucy was like "It's like they were suppose to evolve sooner but evolved now to make up for it."
Well that is the truth, I meant for Ivysaur and Nidorina to evolve many chapters ago but completely forgot so they evolved more recently.
Anyways I'm glad I was able to do a chapter where the pokemon could talk to each other and you understood what they were saying, I feel the anime should do that again in X and Y.
We also see Charla is now a Charizard, some of you may be wondering if she and Charizard are officially a couple, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the next chapter to find out as it will be explained there.
