Hey there, here's another chapter ready and uploaded.

Though its based off Wreck-it Ralph, I'm not going to go from beginning to end. Still, this has major spoilers from the movie Wreck-it Ralph, itself. Takes place in the middle, in fact. Also, while Vanellope and Ralph take center stage along with Sora in this chapter, I might put in Fix-It Felix and Calhourn, if for the sake of Hero's Cuties (I'm assuming that's the fan name for that pairing.) Then again, I kind of have to...

Sugar Rush

Sora and his group teleported away from Weyard, back into the Abyss. Another circular portal featured three peculiar images. Serenia breathed"Where do you think those portals go?"

"One way to find out" said Taios.

The group warped into what seemed to be a computer-generated landscape with three different portals. One led to a construction-site themed land, another to a desolate field, and the third to a sugar-themed landscape.

"Where are we?" said Tyler, in awe.

Sora inspected their surroundings"I don't know, but let's check it out and see. These three portals here seem to lead to a different part of this world... Hey, maybe this is one of the ones Cosmos hinted at."

"Which one do you suppose the next Dawn Shard is located at?" said Serenia, looking around at them"Hey. There are names above these portals. Fix-it Felix Jr., Hero's Duty, and Sugar Rush."

"Hm. With those specifications, we must be in Game Central Station. I've seen the movie Wreck-it Ralph once or twice. A handyman, a wrecker, an army sergeant and a racer from Sugar Rush are the stars. Don't ask me about the evil King Candy if we see him, I'd rather not spoil it" said Taios, thoughtfully.

"So, where to?" asked Ceodore.

Before anyone else could answer, they spotted a red-clad giant of a man with reddish hair and torn brown overalls just exiting the Fix-It Felix portal. Sora glanced at him"Hey there."

The man stopped and saw them. Around his neck was a cookie-like medal. He simply shrugged and rushed towards the Sugar Rush portal. Curious, Sora led his group after the giant. They caught up to him in a sugar-coated landscape. Sora called out again"Hi. No offense, but you didn't stop to talk when I addressed you."

The man stopped again and turned"Uh, can't talk now. And why are you trying to be nice to me? What games do you come from?"

"We're actually from other worlds. Mind telling us exactly where we are?" Sora asked.

"Why should I tell you? I have something I need to go clarify at the moment, that's why I have to hurry. That, and my game's slated to be unplugged, because of me" said the red-haired man.

"Ralph here is the bad guy of his game, but he only acts bad during arcade hours. Those cowardly Nicelanders are too prejudiced to see that. We're in the game-verse portion of his world, we're technically in Litwick's Arcade" elaborated Taios.

"We're in an arcade? Wow" breathed Serenia"I think I'd love to play these games."

"I wouldn't recommend Hero's Duty, kid, its kind of scary. Wait a minute, you saying you're really players?" asked Ralph, confused.

Taios shrugged"In a way. I'm Taios, by the way. I don't do good at old-style arcade games, though. I usually do RPGs."

Serenia beamed"My name is Serenia. And this is Tyler, and my dad Sora."

"My name is Cecil, King of Baron. I'm in one of those game-simulation things Taios mentioned" explained the white-haired Paladin.

"We don't have much time, ourselves. Mind telling us who you are? I am Kain" said the Dragoon.

Ralph shrugged"Name's Ralph, Wreck-It Ralph. But Taios somehow already knew that. I wreck-things, professionally. But the thing is, fixing Is the object of my game. Literally, Fix-it Felix Jr."

"Oh, so Felix is the hero of your game" said Serenia, making the connection.

"Yeah. But bad guys don't get squat, and I was tired of living alone in the garbage... I ran off, trying to be a good guy. But right now, I'm going to see someone" said Ralph, starting to go on ahead.

"Who are you looking for?" asked Serenia.

Ralph hesitated, he had destroyed a friend's Go-Kart, not realizing that he had been lied to by Sugar Rush's 'ruler', but a bit later afterwards, he had seen said friend's picture on the side of the Sugar Rush Console.

"Is something wrong?" Serenia asked. She could sense the 'hurt' in Ralph's 'heart', even if he was artificial.

Ralph sighed"I don't want to talk about it right now. But I'm going to find out the whole truth to this. You guys could come if you want, If you have nothing else to do."

"We'll help you. Besides, we're looking for something called a Dawn Shard" said Sora.

Ralph was confused"What the heck is that? I doubt you'd find something like it in my game or Hero's Duty."

"An ancient relic" said Taios.

"Well, guess I could help you. First, I need to take care of business" said Ralph, leading the group further into the sugar-coated, candy-themed world.

Soon, they came to what appeared to be a green candy-like character with feet and hands cleaning up some wreckage, a garbage can was not too far from it. Ralph spoke to it, hands on his hip"Hey, cough drop. Explain something to me. If Vanellope wasn't meant to exist, then why is her picture on the side of the game console?"

The candy character had a panicked look on his face and tried to run. But Ralph caught him and lifted him up to his face"What is going on in this candy-coated heart of darkness?"

"I don't know" the cough drop replied.

"I'll lick you" Ralph warned.

"I'll take it to my grave" said the cough drop.

"Suit yourself" said Ralph, tossing the drop in his mouth, much to the group's shock. Then again, it was a candy-themed world, so most of the NPCs were candy-based. Ralph felt the taste of the little candy-man and remarked"They call you Sour Bill for a reason." He spat out the sentient gumdrop"Had Enough?"

Sour Bill confessed"Okay, okay. I'll talk. Vanellope was a racer until King Candy tried to delete her code."

"Tried to delete her code?" Sora asked as he listened.

"So that's why she's a glitch, but why?" said Ralph.

Sour Bill shrugged"I don't know, he literally locked up all our memories. I can't remember, no one can. But I know this, he'll do anything to keep her from racing. Because if she crosses the finish line, the game will reset, and she won't be a glitch anymore."

Ralph nodded"Fair enough, where is she?"

"In the dungeon, with Felix" replied Sour Bill.

"Felix!?" Ralph was shocked. Sora would've been shocked too, if he hadn't assumed that the Felix who Ralph and Bill mentioned was likely a different Felix than the brunette Venus Adept from Weyard.

"That's all I know, I swear! Now please don't put me inside your filthy mouth again" Sour Bill pleaded.

Ralph stuck Sour Bill to a lollipop shaped tree"Stick around."

"Yes, I will" grumbled the cough drop.

Sora made the connection"Vanellope is a friend of yours, isn't she, Ralph?"

"Yeah" said the wrecker, picking up the garbage can containing the fragments of a candy go-kart he and Vanellope had made.

The group headed to a sugar-themed castle and made their way to its basement where Ralph had a hunch the cells are. On the other side of the thin stone walls, a male voice could be heard groaning"Oh, why do I fix everything I touch?"

Ralph put down the trash can and punched his way through the wall into a small cell, much to Sora and the other's amazement. A brunette 8-bit man in a blue cap, shirt, pants and black shoes was inside, about having given up escaping.

"Ralph?" The man spotted him and hugged the giant for a moment"Am I so glad to see you. No, wait, I'm not. What do you have to say for yourself? Don't answer, I don't want to hear it."

"What's his deal?" asked Tidus.

"Ralph, here, went Turbo. And before you ask, a character named Turbo tried to hijack a new racing game called Roadblasters and got that, and his own game Turbotime, permanently unplugged" elaborated Taios.

"Exactly. Oh, and I don't reckon I recognize you folks" said the man, looking at Sora's group.

"I'm Sora" said the older brunette Keybearer.

"Call me Serenia, and you are?" The red-headed teen inquired.

"Fix-It Felix Jr. from the game Fix-It Felix Jr." replied the man.

Ralph was in a hurry and spilt the pieces of the ruined kart in front of the handyman"Its fine with me if you don't want to talk, but you gotta fix this go-kart for me, pronto."

"I don't have to do boo!" exclaimed Fix-It Felix, obviously annoyed"Excuse my potty mouth. I'm just so... CROSS with you, Ralph. Do you have any idea what you put me through?" He then proceeded to tell Ralph what he'd been doing while looking for him. Most of Sora's group were intrigued to hear about a girl who Felix had met during his search.

"Felix, I..." Ralph began, but the handyman snapped.

"No, Ralph. You don't know what its like to be rejected and treated like a criminal!"

Ralph was quiet for a moment"Yes, I do. That's every day of my life."

Felix, feeling much calmer after his outburst, was surprised"It is?"

"That's why I ran off and tried to be a good guy, but I'm just a bad guy. There's a little girl who's only hope is this kart. Please, Felix, fix it... And I promise I'll never try to be good again" Ralph said.

Felix let out a small smile, touched by his colleague's selflessness. The Handyman took a small golden hammer from his belt and helped Ralph rebuild the kart piece by piece, Serenia and Tyler tried hard not to laugh at the ridiculous appearance of the cart, which had varied candy parts and looked a bit like vomit.

"Incredible" breathed Yuna.

"You think so? My hammer can fix broken objects, but can also heal Avatars' injuries. Can fix most anything, basically" acknowledged Felix.

"So, where do you think Vanellope is?" said Taios, though he could guess.

Ralph shrugged, and led the way further into the Fungeon. The group came to an area at the deepest part of the place, a locked wooden door blocked the way. Ralph punched the door down before pushing the kart inside. A girl with black hair held in a ponytail and a green hoodie was confined in the room in a anti-glitch chain. The girl looked surprised to see her fixed go-kart and the guy who had broken it in the first place.

Ralph addressed the girl before she could say anything"I know, I'm an idiot."

"And?" The girl said.

"And a real numbskull" Ralph continued.

"And?" The girl pressed once more.

"And..." Ralph paused"A stinkbrain."

"The stinkiest brain ever" she grinned.

Serenia addressed her"Are you Vanellope?"

The girl nodded"Yep. Who are the rest of you guys?"

"I'm Taios. The rest of my group are Sora, Serenia, Tyler, Tidus, Yuna, Kain and Cecil" introduced Taios.

Sora summed the Kingdom Key and used it to remove the shackle from Vanellope"You okay?"

"Yep. And I'm itchin' to race" said the girl.

The handyman, who was standing behind Ralph, walked over to introduce himself"My name is Fix-it Felix Jr.. So, what's the story here?"

"From the looks of it, King Candy duped Ralph into destroying Vanellope's kart. Vanellope, we know how to restore you back into an actual Racer. You have to race across the finish line. I can't say exactly why this is the case" elaborated Taios.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" said Vanellope.

"We're going to the track" said Ralph.

The group, accompanied by Felix and Vanellope, headed as fast as they can to Sugar Rush's racetrack. Ralph coached Vanellope on the way"Remember: You don't have to win. Just cross that finish line and you'll be a real racer."

"But I'm already a real racer" said Vanellope.

While Vanellope drove her car to the track, Ralph, Felix and Sora's group went to the stands. Serenia was amazed to see sentient candy people in the area"The race sounds like fun, wish I could join in."

"Well, maybe we can somehow warp to the Arcade side of this world whenever we have time after our quest" said Sora.

The group watched the race through the screen as Vanellope raced to catch up with her 'fellow racers' and cross the finish line. Ralph and Taios nearly panicked when Vanellope had to dodge cherry bombs.

"Looks like she's gonna make it" said Sora. Even Cecil, Kain and Ceodore were immersed in the race.

But at that moment, a blond woman in a soldier's uniform walked up to Ralph and punched him sharply in the side of his head, much to the others' shock. Before Sora or Cecil could say anything, the woman addressed Ralph"I hope you're happy, junk pile. This game is going down, and its all your fault!"

"Uh, pardon me, but what are you talking about?" Sora asked.

The woman turned sharply to him"The cybug he brought with him multiplied."

"No, It died at Taffy Swamp" said Ralph, getting up.

Before Sora or his group could ask what a Cybug was, a swarm of mechanical bugs burst out from underground, sending almost everyone into a panic. The woman scoffed"Bull Roar" before getting onto her hovercraft and firing at a few of the bugs, instructing the people watching the race to head for Game Central Station.

"Whatever those things are, we can take them" said Sora.

"What are you talking about? There's no way to kill all of them before its too late. We have to evacuate. The Cybugs will consume Suger Rush" said the blond woman, skeptically.

"Show her your credentials, Sora" suggested Taios.

Sora summoned his Keyblade as a Cybug tried to chomp him and took it out with Strike Raid.

Kain, Cecil, Tidus, Yuna, Ralph, Taios, Ceodore, Serenia and Tyler joined in the battle. Having no time to ask further questions, the soldier fired at the Cybugs, defending the denizens of Sugar Rush while they escaped.

"Ha!" Taios cut through three bugs, while Kain drove his lance through another. Ralph punched at the bugs aiming for the finish line, trying to keep it safe for Vanellope to cross at the race's end.

Yuna squeaked as she dodged a bug and summoned Ifrit to fry it. Tidus used Spiral Cut, Abes Ace and Slice 'n Dice to cut through several more bugs, but there were simply too many. The group was slowly being pushed back to the exit of Sugar Rush.

Ralph had just finished off another bug when he caught sight of something on the screen. Vanellope and a odd-looking Racer wearing what appeared to be regal clothes were having a tussle, Sora stopped to see what it was. Vanellope's glitching abilities seemed to have triggered something, as the racer's kingly persona melted away to see a red-and-white clad Racer.

"Is that?" Felix was shocked as he saw it, too.

"No way" exclaimed Ralph, recognizing the racer with the yellow teeth.

"What is that?" Sora said, making sure Serenia didn't see it.

"Turbo" said Felix"He was a character from the game, Turbotime."

They watched the screen as Turbo and Vanellope were struggling until the girl used her glitch ability to break free. The group then turned their attention back to the battle, Sora used Rising Sun and Thunder Spells to attack the Cybugs. Cecil, Kain and Ceodore took down a dozen more, pausing to catch their breath.

The fight wore on until Ralph saw Vanellope's kart"Come on, the finish line is wide open." But something went wrong as Vanellope's cart crashed, and a bunch of Cybugs descended upon the finish line, despite the rest of the group's efforts to hold them off.

"Kid, we have to get out of here" said Ralph, picking up Vanellope and racing for the exit. Sora and the others caught up to them near the exit to see Ralph try to force Vanellope through an anti-glitch barrier.

"Ralph, its no use" cried Vanellope"I told you, I can't leave the game."

Sora and the others caught up, a little battle-worn from fighting off bugs, even though the mechanical monsters were not particularly tough. The blond soldier and the handyman caught up.

"That's everyone. Now I have to blow the exit" said the soldier.

"Is there no other way?" piped Serenia.

The soldier shook her head"Nothing we can do about it. Without a beacon, there's no stopping those monsters."

"Beacon?" Ralph looked around and saw a diet coke bottle-shaped mountain ahead. The large man took the hoverboard"I'll need this."

"What are you doing?" asked Cecil.

"I got some wrecking to do" said Ralph.

Sora squared his shoulders"I'll go with you, then. Cecil, Kain, will you come, too? Serenia, Tyler, stay with Felix and Taios."

Taios gave a knowing smile"Count on us."

"If you think there's something that can be done over there, we'll come" acknowledged Kain.

Ralph and Sora headed to Diet Cola Mountain, accompanied by Sora's selected teammates. At the top of the mountain was a bunch of mentos. Ralph started to sink them using his fists while Sora, Kain and Cecil kept a lookout for more bugs. But right as Ralph was about to finish sinking the mentos, a metallic leg slapped him aside"Welcome to the boss level. He, he, he, he, he."

"Turbo" Ralph gasped, recognizing the voice.

Sure enough, before them was a monstrous Cybrid, a semi-bald head with green eyes, bits of hair on the side of his head with a bowtie and collar lace on the top of the creature. The lower part of the body had claws and resembled a smaller Cybug.

Sora readied his keyblade. Ralph, Kain and Cecil stood near him.

"Thanks to you, Ralph. I am now them most powerful Virus in the Aracde. I can take over any game I want" said Turbo"I should thank you, but It would be more fun to kill you."

"What did he mean by that?" said Sora.

Ralph had no time to respond and tried to outmaneuver Turbo, who struck relentlessly with the Cybug Arms and claws. Sora quickly cast Thundara on Turbo, stunning him long enough for Cecil to attack with Dark Flame and Kain to use his trademark jump attack. The Cybrid was staggered further, but swept the group back with his claws, grabbed Ralph and lifted him up.

"Why that-" Sora groaned.

Kain leapt again and pierced the Cybrid's chest with his lance, forcing the staggered monster to let go of Ralph. Seeing his chance, Ralph plummeted towards the center of the Mentos Summit of Diet Cola Mountain, hand outstretched to punch it.

"We have to get out of the way" said Cecil, moving downward from the mountain.

"But what about Ralph?" said Sora.

"I don't think he has any intention on surviving whatever may be beneath this stuff" said Kain, sadly, landing near Sora.

Just above them, Ralph had recited'I'm bad, and that's good, I'll never be good and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be... than me.'

Right as Ralph connected with the Mentos, the platform sunk. Hot, piping diet coke began to spew out. Right before the eruption, however, Vanellope had glitched onto the scene in a Choco-cake themed kart and moved Ralph out of the way.

"He'll be all right" said Cecil, using Teleport to get himself, Sora and Kain off the Mountain. They didn't see it, but the Cybrid Turbo and the remaining Cybugs were drawn to the artificial beacon of molten Diet Coke and vaporized.

Back near the exit, Felix, Calhourn, Taios, Yuna, Tidus, Serenia and Tyler smiled at their victory. The handyman had leapt and kissed the blond soldier on the cheek, much to her surprise. But instead of getting mad as Taios feared, she picked up Fix-it Felix and kissed him back.

Not too long after the bugs were eliminated and Turbo had gotten a permanent 'Game Over', Felix repaired the finish line so that Vanellope can cross the finish line in her go-kart. No sooner had she done it, magic seemed to flow throughout Sugar Rush, repairing the rest of the damage the Cy Bugs had done, much to the surprise of the group and the Racers, they had evacuated earlier, but returned when they saw that the trouble had ended.

Even Vanellope was surprised"What's with the magic sparkles?"

The rest of the group and Sugar Rush's NPCs watched until Vanellope's attire was changed into a pink and white dress with a scepter and tiara. The Racers were shocked as their memories suddenly returned.

"Now I remember" Sour Bill, who had somehow made it off the tree with part of it stuck to him, walked up to Vanellope and addressed the audience"All hail the rightful ruler of Sugar Rush: Princess Vanellope."

"Now I remember, she's our princess" gasped one of the Racers.

"We're so sorry" cried another.

Vanellope smiled"Tut, tut. As your merciful princess, I decree that everyone who's ever been mean to me shall be... executed."

"What? No, please" begged one of the other Racers.

"I'm just kidding, stop crying, Taffyta" said Vanellope.

"So, this is the real you, princess?" Ralph addressed his friend.

Vanellope turned"Oh, come on, Ralph. What are you nuts? Come on, this isn't me" she glitched back into her hoodie"THIS is me."

"Well, we're glad to have helped you, Vanellope" said Tidus.

Sora addressed her next"Hey, do you know about a shard called the Dawn Crystal?"

Vanellope was uncharacteristically quiet as she thought for a moment, then remembered she had a strange stone in her pocket"Oh, you mean this?" She took out a orange-looking stone"I found this some time ago before I met Stinkbrain, there. But for some reason, it was never taken from me. I didn't want to lose it, so I kept it in my pocket as a good luck charm. It was the only thing Turbo never tried to take from me. Guess that gay-king wasn't much interested in jewelry. Not something I could've used in the Pay to Play thing, either."

"May we have it?" requested Yuna"Sora and the rest of my group are on a very important quest. And we need that stone."

"Sure, why not? I don't need it anymore" replied Vanellope, glitching over to Yuna and placing the Shard in her hand.

Sora addressed Ralph"Well, my group and I have to get going. Maybe we can visit again, sometime."

Ralph smiled"I have the coolest friends in the world. To be continued."

"You could also just play any of our games, though I suppose it wouldn't be the same" chimed Felix.

Serenia beamed"Well, I'd love to play Sugar Rush or Fix-It Felix Jr., sometime.."

"Word of caution, Hero's Duty is somewhat treacherous, even outside Arcade hours, you don't need to see It from this side" Calhourn, the blond soldier said.

Vanellope addressed Sora"Later, taters."

Sora smiled back"Same to you guys."

Sora and his group said their farewells and teleported out of Sugar Rush and Game Central Station.

Here you go, the next chapter is ready. I'm sorry if I'm getting sloppy on the action, it should be better next chapter. Oh, and I just assumed that Taios would know about the movie Wreck-It Ralph since its a newer Disney Movie, so sorry if I'm wrong, Infinitestories.
