Well, I've gotten quite a few ideas for plot twists, thanks Infinite. This next chapter contains spoilers from the movie The Rise of the Guardians. It'll start off somewhere in the middle of the show's story, as was the case in Wreck-it Ralph from the previous chapter.

The passage through Abyss drew them towards a world with that depicted a snow-covered city, an icy landscape with what appeared to be a workshop, a lush, underground cavern and a grand-looking building.

"Which world to you suppose this is?" mussed Serenia.

"Only one way to find out, I'm not sure, either" said Taios.

They warped into the world to find themselves in the lush-green cavern. Sora looked around"Huh, this place is just somewhat unusual."

"It looks to be some kind of underground garden" said Serenia, in wonder.

The group headed deeper inside, glancing at the various parts of this mysterious location. Soon, they heard voices coming from around the corner: A man in red with a beard and twin swords, a giant Pooka, a female fairy-hummingbird hybrid and a teen with white hair and a bluish hoodie were painting eggs with the help of a younger girl with blond hair and pink clothes. A couple yetis were also helping.

"Huh? Is that...?" Tyler glanced in wonder at the bunny, the fairy and the red-clad man.

The bunny's ears perked at the sound Tyler's voice and turned to face them"Oi! Who and what are you doing here?" The rest of the occupants turned to see the newcomers.

"Uh, excuse us, but do you know where we are?" Sora asked.

The bearded man gave a hearty chuckle"Why, in Bunny's Warren, of course! But how did you find this place?"

"I'm Sora, and these are my friends. We came here looking for something called the Dawn Shard, it looks like this" explained Sora, showing them the crystal shard he had managed to collect.

"Nope, I'm afraid we haven't. Say, how can you guys see us? I'm Toothania, but you can just call me Tooth" smiled the fairy.

"Name's Jack Frost" introduced the white-haired teen.

"I'm the Easter Bunny, Aster Bunnymund" grunted the Pooka Rabbit.

"Wait, so you three are the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus?" interrupted Serenia, curious"I never heard of Jack Frost."

'Santa' nodded"You just call me North, little one. Bunny, Tooth and I are Guardians of Childhood. Good or bad, naughty or nice, we protect the children."

"So you guys are guardians of your respective seasons, then?" said Taios"I can only guess that the reason we can see you is because we're not from this world. Each world has its own rules."

Sora acknowledged with a smile"Well, sorry to barge in like this."

"It fine, Sora. Say, would you all like to help paint eggs?" smiled North.

"We'd love to. Oh, and is Jack Frost a guardian?" asked Serenia.

Jack shook his head"Nope, I'm a freelancer, all about snowballs and fun times. Haven't officially joined up, but I've been helping North and the Kangaroo, there anyway. We've been trying to preserve the children's beliefs from Pitch Black." Bunny glared at Jack for calling him a kangaroo, again.

Serenia paled"Who's Pitch Black?"

"The Nightmare King, he is trying to snuff out children's beliefs in us Guardians" replied North, grimly.

"Sounds like your big bad is just plain dirty" remarked Taios"We'll help with the eggs. And let me guess... Well, I haven't seen your movie, but I guess your powers come from children's beliefs."

North nodded"That is precisely it, but we care about the children just the same."

As they worked, Serenia addressed North"Uh, do you know if Taios is on the Nice List? We were also searching for Saxito, who looks kind of like him."

"Saxito? Nobodies don't count, you not have to worry about that" chuckled North"But if I have to be frank, Saxito is on naughty list for sure. I have not seen him, but Pitch is the worst of us Guardians of Childhood's problems. Taios is still on nice list."

They worked until the eggs were all painted. As soon as they finished, Serenia noticed that the blond girl with the pink outfit fell asleep"Is she okay?"

"Fell asleep, is all" said North.

"I'll take her back to her house" said Jack.

"What about Pitch?" Tooth asked, about what would happen.

"He's no match for this" said Jack Frost, referring to his staff"I'll be as quick as a bunny."

"Can I go with you?" piped Serenia.

Jack thought for a moment as he put the blond girl on his shoulders"I won't be that long, but sure."

Sora squared his shoulders"Taios, can you go with them? The rest of us will stay with North to help deal with that 'Pitch' guy if he shows up."

"Sure thing" Taios nodded, leaving with Jack and Serenia.

The three went to drop the girl off at her house. As soon as they put her back in her bed, Taios felt a tingling sensation on his neck"Guys, I sense something... Kind of supernatural, and yet..."

"What?" Jack Frost looked around and saw a dark horse-like figure, he then heard a strange voice'Jack!'

"What's going on?" asked Serenia.

Jack wordlessly flew out the window, Taios and Serenia followed until they came to what looked like the entrance to a cave beneath a sort of bed-like object. Taios shivered"This aura feels different."

Serenia readied her keyblade as the two followed the white-haired Winter Spirit into a desolate lair. Inside were mountains of what looked like gold containers and some cages. In the cages were small fairy-like creatures that vaguely resembled Tooth.

"What are they?" Serenia whispered as she looked at the fairies"Could they be Tooth's children?"

"Maybe, I'm not really sure. Sorry, but I can't really give you much information about this world" shrugged Taios.

Serenia shrugged and went to unlock the cages with her keyblade, while Taios looked around for Jack Frost. The older Keybearer saw the white haired teen meet up with a strange man with yellow eyes and what appears to be an entirely black wardrobe and ebony hair.

"Ah, yet another visitor, otherworlder no less" sneered the 'man', noticing Taios.

"Who are you?" Taios asked, though he had a hunch.

The 'man' smiled"The Boogeyman, of course. Pitch Black, the Nightmare King."

"So you're the one toying with this world" said Taios.

Serenia caught up to Taios and Jack"I unlocked the cages, but the fairies can't seem to fly."

"Ah, one minor detail little one" Pitch spoke before either Jack or Taios could say anything"These fairies, and the Guardians rely on children's beliefs for their powers. Say, you have quite the 'father' complex, girl. Afraid of letting dear old dad and your mother down, are you?"

"What do you know about my fears!? I follow in my parents' footsteps because I love them" Serenia shouted.

"I am the Nightmare King, I know of everyone's fears. Your friend there seems to have a slight touch of fear of being rejected and shunned for what he has nearly become" sneered Pitch.

"Leave her alone!" Jack snapped.

Pitch smirked as he handed over a cylinder to Jack"You're always messing things up, Jack Frost. Well, you're doing it even now. You, who is so afraid of what others will think of you."

Jack Frost was confused"What have you done?"

"Its not what I've done, Jack. But what you have done" said Pitch, slinking into the shadows.

"He's creeping me out" shuddered Serenia.

Taios paled"I have a bad feeling we've just been jinxed, let's go to the others."

They hurried out of Pitch's lair and back to Bunny's Warren. But when they got there, they saw the eggs have been smashed, and the others were locked in battle with a swarm of Heartless.

"Blimey, I've never seen the likes of them" muttered Bunny as he barely fought off a Soldier Heartless.

Sora rushed to help North defeat a Large Body Heartless, while Serenia and Taios wiped out a few Darkball Heartless. Tooth, Jack Frost and Tyler stayed out of it mostly, though Jack used his Winter Powers to defeat an encroaching Fire Elemental Heartless or two that tried to approach them.

"What happened here?" said Taios, seeing the mess after the Heartless were defeated.

"While you and Jack were absent, Pitch's Nightmares and those strange creatures appeared and smashed every egg, nothing made it to the surface" grumbled North.

Taios shrugged"That's gotta be a bummer."

"Jack?" Tooth spotted the cylinder"Where did you get this?"

"You were with Pitch?" North asked, incredulously.

Bunnymund was ticked at Jack"We never should've trusted you! Easter's about hope..."

Disheartened that he let the Guardians down, Jack Frost left the Warren. Sora shrugged"So now what?"

"Is there anything more that can be done?" asked Yuna.

"Maybe... But maybe not" said North, quietly.

"My group will go look for the Dawn Shard, is it anywhere else in this world?" inquired Taios.

Tooth thought for a moment"Well, I've never seen such a thing In Tooth Palace. And I don't think North would have it in his workshop."

"No such thing would be in my Warren, either" said Bunnymund.

North grunted"You check Burgess if you want, Sora. Its Jack's hometown."

"Thanks" said Sora.

Bunnymund opened a rabbit hole for them to help Sora leave the Warren. Sora and his group headed into the town, looking around at the winter scenery. Taios breathed"Kind of cool, here."

"Yeah" mussed Tyler.

"I'm a bit worried about Jack, should we find him?" said Serenia.

"There's only so much we can do here. Cecil, Tidus, Yuna, go with her" requested Sora.

Cecil nodded"Very well, then. But where would we look?"

Taios glanced around"Probably north of here, I'll go with your group, Serenia. Its just a wild guess, mind you."

Taios led his group north, heading towards a snowy mountain pass. When they got there, the group eventually found Jack Frost once more confronting Pitch. They were not alone however, as a manikin of what looked like Roxas awaited them, poised to pounce along with some Nobodies.

Taios rushed over to Jack"What's going on?"

"Hm?" Jack turned to answer.

Pitch smirked"As I am saying, Jack, would you like to join me? What goes better together than cold and dark? People will revere us."

"People will fear us, I don't want that" Jack replied to the Boogeyman.

Pitch smiled"Very well then." With that, he withdrew his hand which he'd been hiding behind his back to reveal a tiny fairy-hummingbird hybrid in his hands"Give me The staff, Jack. You've a bad habit of interfering."

Jack hesitated, but handed it over"All right, now let her go."

"I'm afraid not. You wanted to be alone, Jack? Well, be alone!" spat the Nightmare King.

At that moment, several Dusks and Samurai Nobodies appeared. Serenia frowned"Was Saxito here, too, then?"

"Maybe, but we don't know for sure" replied Taios.

The Roxas manikin appeared before Serenia and readied its keyblade to slash at her. Serenia dodged and summoned her own Keyblade before launching a Fira spell at the mockery of Roxas. While Serenia and the Roxas Manikin dueled, Baby Tooth had pecked Pitch's hand to force him to let her go, which he did by throwing her into a snow hill, while Taios and Cecil fought the Samurai Heartless.

Jack grabbed back his staff and turned to fire a snowy stream at the Manikin, providing a distraction so that Serenia could charge forward with a combo at the Maniikin, destroying it.

Tidus dueled a Samurai Nobody, while Yuna summoned Ifrit to incinerate several Samurai before turning her attention to Pitch. The Nightmare King grinned maliciously and vanished into the shadows, but not without summoning a Nightmare to break Jack's staff. Taios cut down the Nightmare, which evaporated while Jack managed to repair his staff by channeling his icy powers into it.

"Nobody messes with us" said Tidus, grinning"Get it? Nobody?"

"Best save the puns for later, we gotta deal with Pitch" said Taios.

Jack took a moment to examine the cylinder, which had the face of himself when he was alive. Taios was curious"What is that?"

Jack Frost opened the cylinder, which was filled with magic infused teeth. It began to glow, and images of a brunette boy and a younger girl were seen skating. Serenia was puzzled"Is that... Wait a minute..."

The group watched with amazement, then horror as the boy and his sister were on thin ice, which was about to give away. The brunette's voice was vaguely familiar"Its okay, now, we're going to play a game: Hop Scotch."

The group watched as the boy in the image counted to three, then used his staff to move his sister to solid ground before falling through some thin ice, which cracked under him when he took her spot.

"Jack!" cried the girl, then the vision disappeared. Serenia, Taios, Cecil, Tidus and Yuna were very surprised at what they just saw, a mixture of horror and amazement on their faces.

Jack Frost was silent as his memories rushed back into his head"I... I had a Sister, I saved her!" the tiny fairy had joined them during the spectacle.

"Wait... Jack? You're dead?" said Cecil, putting two and two together.

"You seemed pretty similar to an Unsent, yet different at the same time" mussed Yuna.

Jack smiled"I know it, now... My Center..."

"Your center?" piped Serenia, curious.

"North spoke to be of his Center, he's the Guardian of Wonder" replied Jack.

Something clicked into Taios' head"So basically, each of this world's guardians represent something of this world. If Bunny is the Guardian of Hope, North is the Guardian of Wonder, then... Would Tooth be the Guardian of Memories, maybe?"

"Seems that way..." mussed Jack.

"Bit early to celebrate, don't you think?" an image of Saxito appeared.

Tidus whirled around"What now?"

Saxito grinned"Just a little hologram projection, giving you an advanced warning. The Boogeyman has the next shard hidden somewhere, I can sense it. And if you don't hurry, the Guardians' powers will be permanently snuffed out once the belief has been wiped from the one child who still believes. I happened to pick up a few tidbits when I passed this world on my way to Weyard. Well, okay, that was a lie. One of my agents scoped the place before you came. That Roxas Manikin you busted was left here by me."

"The last child... Jamie!" Jack breathed.

"Who's Jamie?" asked Serenia.

Jack didn't answer, but raced back to Burguss, the others followed him. Taios was bothered slightly by Saxito goading them along through his projection, but followed silently.

The town was quiet, as It was nighttime. Serenia's group followed the Winter Spirit to a small house in the neighborhood, Jack Frost appeared to be looking through one of its windows at a small, brunette boy.

"Who is..." Serenia trailed off.

Jack Frost just watched the small boy for a bit before going through the open window, forming a pattern of snow into the shape of a bunny and animating it to hop around the boy's bed until it burst into snow. The brunette gaped in wonder at the albino spirit"...Jack Frost?"

Jack was pleasantly surprised"You see me?"

The boy nodded.

Taios caught up to Jack"We have company."

"What?" Jack and the boy hurried outside, a sleigh was flying in their direction, barely staying afloat, and the reindeer pulling it seemed to be barely able to help control it. North and Tooth were on board.

"North? Tooth? What's happened?" Cecil asked.

"Its official, my powers are kaput" shrugged North.

"Santa?" the small boy asked him. Jack hovered close to them.

North addressed the albino"Jack? What are you doing here?"

"The same as you, what happened to Bunny?" said Jack, concerned.

North looked grave"Losing Easter has taken its toll on us... Bunny most of all." A small rabbit with the familiar colorization of Bunnymund hopped out of the sleigh.

The boy approached him"Is that the Easter Bunny?"

"Oh, now someone sees me. Where were you in the last hour or so?" grunted Bunny.

"Jack must've helped the boy believe" smiled Serenia.

"Well, well" said a familiar voice"Are we all a sorry sight?"

Taios whipped out his keyblade and looked around for the Boogeyman. Serenia and the Guardians also kept a lookout. The voice of Pitch continued to speak"All this fuss over one child who refuses to stop believing. No matter, there's more than one way to snuff out the lights."

"Pitch" Jack readied himself.

Taios, Cecil, Tidus, Yuna and Serenia stood in front of the Guardians as Pitch and several Nightmares appeared. Jack turned to address the brunette boy"Let's go get your friends."

"We'll hold Pitch here" said Taios.

Pitch simply smirked before pursuing Jack, Jamie and the Guardians. Some Darkball Heartless and Dusks appeared. Taios sighed"Things are never easy."

"Hold on" Sora and the rest of his group arrived and wiped out some Darkballs. Taios, Serenia, Cecil and Tidus mopped up the Dusks before turning in the direction that the Guardians and Pitch left in.

"Thanks, Sora" said Taios.

"No problem, sorry about this. We ran into some of Saxito's Nobodies, but that's taken care of. I guess the Heartless were also drawn here" Sora concluded.

Sora and Taios led their group after Pitch until they caught sight of the Boogeyman cornering Jack, the Guardians and some children in an alleyway with an army of Nightmares.

"Hey, Pitch!" Taios taunted him.

Pitch turned around"Oh? Do you really think you can handle all of this? Boo." With that, the Nightmares charged at both Groups. Sora wiped out a few with Rising Sun, while Taios teamed up with Cecil and Tyler to decimate a few more of the monsters. Jack, Serenia, Cecil and Tidus rushed at Pitch, who drove them backwards with his scythe. The Nightmare King taunted them and vanished, reappearing on the roof. Jack and Sora hurried after him.

As the battle ensued, golden threads of light had appeared. The brunette boy turned to his fellow kids"I know what we need to do."

As the kids moved to egg on the golden threads, North and Tooth regained their fighting powers, and Bunnymund returned to his previous size to join the battle. Taios and Tyler managed to defeat more Nightmares, while the rest of Pitch's army was being transformed into golden sweet dreams by the children's beliefs.

On the roof, Sora and Jack had driven Pitch to the edge, only to be counterattacked by the boogeyman's weapon. Sora countered with Fira and dodged another attack. Pitch swung his weapon downward at Jack, only to be stopped by a golden figure with sandy-colored hair.

"Let me guess, the Sandman" said Sora, amazed.

"Yep" smiled Jack, seeing Sandy resurrected, the Sandman had been "killed" in a prior battle with Pitch. Sora and Jack watched as Sandy used his whip to toss Pitch off the roof. Sora and Jack made their way down.

Nearby, Serenia had cast Fira on a few more of the surviving Nightmares, while Kain and Cecil cut down two more. The battle had been joined by North and Bunny's helpers, and the tides were turned in the Guardians' favor.

"Well, that does it for the monsters" grinned Sora.

The group met up at the frozen lake. Serenia addressed Sora"We got a sudden projection from Saxito, he said that the Boogeyman had a Dawn Crystal Shard hidden somewhere."

Before Sora can answer, some of Tooth's fairies showed up, one of them depositing a orange-colored shard in Serenia's hand as thanks for unlocking the cages earlier. Tooth smiled at Serenia"What goes around comes around, you must have really helped my fairies. Thanks, Serenia."

"Oh, I didn't do much" flushed the red-haired Teen.

Jack and the others smiled. North, however was hit by a snowball.

"Whoa" Tyler pointed to a nearby elf, who had thrown it.

North chucked"Heh, you is on my naughty list."

The group began an elaborate snowball fight, which Kain and Taios stayed out of. Nearby, Pitch had recovered and growled"You... Dare to have fun in my presence!" he charged at one of the children, only to pass right through.

Serenia shook her head"No such thing as the boogeyman."

"You can't kill fear, it will always come back to haunt you!" snarled Pitch.

"So what?" chortled North"As long as one child believes, we will always be here to fight fear."

"Then what do you call this?" Pitch gestured to some Nightmares.

"Where did they come from?" said Tyler, calmly.

North laughed"They can't be my nightmares, I'm not afraid."

Jack gave a wry smile"Looks like its your fear they smell."

Pitch was horrified as the Nightmares started skulking towards him and ran for it, only for the Nightmares to catch the boogeyman and drag him back into his own lair, the entrance to which collapsed after Pitch and the remaining Nightmares.

"Sucks for him" remarked Tidus.

"Jack Frost, you did good" said North"Are you ready to become a Guardian?"

Jack nodded with a smile.

"Then it is time you take oath" said North"Do you, Jack Frost, vow to protect children and their beliefs everywhere?"

"I swear" said Jack.

North smiled"Then, Jack Frost, you are now and forevermore a guardian."

"Congratulations, Jack" smiled Serenia.

Sora addressed the Guardians"Well, my group has to go, now. We still have other business do to."

North nodded"Farewell, then."

"See you around, Sora" piped Jack Frost.

"You and your friends are welcome anytime, Sora" said Toothania with a fond smile.

Sora's group began to walk away a bit before starting up their teleportation spell, unaware that trouble was brewing at Radiant Garden.

At Radiant Garden's castle, Saxito smirked as he had projected a hologram to taunt Sora and hint at the next dawn shard, after he had sent some more of his minions to find it, first.

In Kairi's room, the red-headed woman was about to go to bed when the Nobody entered and pressed a gun into her head"Scream for the guards and I will blow your brains out."

Kairi turned to face him, startled"Who are you?"

"The guy who's using you as a bargaining chip of course" grinned the Nobody"lets see if this rings a bell. Twilight Eclipse? Dawn Shard? Yoran?"

Kairi was surprised"W-what? I haven't heard of the Dawn Crystal shard. But there was this weird eclipse occurred sometime after Sora left. Though I heard a bit about Yoran. W-wait a minute, did something happen to Sora? I haven't heard from him in a while. And how did you get past the defenses?"

Saxito scoffed"I have a Keyblade and you're questioning how I got in... wow. As for Sora, he's doing fine. course his quest will be for nothing when every God and Goddess dies."

Kairi paled, she hadn't noticed that Saxito had a keyblade"What do you mean by that?"

The Nobody gave an amused smirk"You can't possibly understand what's really at stake, Kairi. You know, I'm kinda glad you're left out of the loop. This makes my job a whole lot easier. This is why I'm taking matters into my own hands. Whether Sora and his friends succeed in finding the dawn shards, or me killing you would make no difference either way. Now, would you kindly step into this dark corridor?" he put his pistol closer to her neck. A dark corridor not too far off.

Kairi sighed"I guess I have no choice, I know Sora would save me again, anyway. Just don't hurt Serenia." Kairi walked into the Dark Corridor, Saxito not too far behind her. The Nobody made sure to close the corridor after they got in.

Finally, I got this chapter up. Oh, and if any Rise of the Guardians fans are reading this, the reason Sora's group can see the Guardians is... Well, in Kingdom Hearts II, a theory is mentioned that there must be different laws for each world.

Also, I figured Pitch was too big of a pushover to make much of an effort into a fighting scene between him and Sora. Huh, I neglected to use Ceodore much, oh well, just pretend he's still with Sora and the others.

Sorry for the wait, feel free to review. I know that Taios was supposed to have seen many worlds through video games and movies, but thought I should have him not know much about the movie Rise of the Guardians. Same will hold true for next chapter.
