Another Day and another chapter. This one takes place in the Hotel Transylvania universe. There will be spoilers, but might deviate a bit from the movie.

Hotel Transylvania

The next world showed a castle-like structure on the other side of some dark forest as the group proceeded further into the Abyss. Serenia paled"This place has kind of a spooky feel to it."

"Shouldn't be a problem, just stay close" said Sora, moving towards the world. They warped right in front of the castle-like structure, just as Sora's garments changed. He wore what looked vaguely like his Halloween Town costume.

"Whoa, this is amazing" squealed Serenia, she was decked out in a Vampire-like costume like her father's. But without the orange head piece.

Taios smiled, his outfit looked much like Sora's"I knew about your magic garments' ability to change your and your party members' clothes and appearances to adapt to certain worlds, but this is something else."

Tyler glanced down at himself, his clothes resembled mummy wraps"This is kinda cool."

"Hey, check this out" Tidus grinned, he was wearing a black suit with a picture of skeleton bones on him, his sword still strapped to his waist"Yuna, how about you?"

The summoner was now decked out in a black robe with a matching black hat and shoes"I don't really like black, but its okay. Sora, this is another of these worlds that require us to transform, right?"

"It probably goes along with this world's theme" speculated Kain, whose Dragoon outfit now resembled that of a real dragon. Cecil had the least variation to his attire, his armor now sprouting black wings at the back. Ceodore was wearing a similar outfit to Tidus.

"I haven't experienced that in a while, but yeah. Well, Halloween Town is a Halloween-themed world, maybe this place is..." Sora trailed off.

Tidus glanced ahead at the castle-like structure"Who do you reckon lives there?"

Sora walked ahead"We won't know until we find out."

It was still daylight as they entered and headed over to one of the large rooms. What appeared to be a red-headed young man with an odd attire and body paint racing flying tables with an older man with raven hair, cape, clothes and a pale complexion.

"Whoa, how do they do that?" Serenia asked.

The two men had gone down a hallway. Taios smirked"Hey, guys, check this out."

"What?" Sora said.

Taios walked over to one of the remaining flying tables"These things are kinda like the enchanted objects from Belle's world, but this is another thing entirely. I dunno what this world is, but I have a hunch." He hopped onto the white clothed table, which rose.

"Wow" Serenia gasped.

Taios smiled"Quite a surprise. Well, let's give these a shot. I don't think they mind, this world has kind of a gothic tone, though I've never seen it."

Serenia got on board an unoccupied enchanted table and the two began to move and figure out how to help the enchanted tables fly about. Kain and Ceodore glanced curiously at the sight as Serenia and Taios directed the flying enchanted objects down the hallway.

"Shall we follow?" Sora grinned, heading down the hallway on foot. The rest of the group followed. They came to a dead end where the dark-haired man was just finishing giving instructions to an animated hallow suit of armor.

"Hi" Sora greeted.

The man nearly jumped, but seemed to relax when he saw their costumes"Ah. Welcome to Hotel Transylvania. But wait? How did you get in? Its still daylight, and I haven't seen you with the other guests."

"I'm Sora. My friends and I... Well, its kind of complicated. Sorry. But we have special teleportation magic, so its not a problem for us" said Sora"Uh, have you seen two others pass by on those enchanted tables? A red-haired teen and a brunette?"

"No, but my... Acquaintance went missing just a little earlier. I completely understand what you're saying, common customer-confidentiality. I am the owner of the Hotel, Dracula" replied the man.

"Dracula? Never heard of you" said Tidus, cheekily"Oh, and I'm Tidus."

"Yuna, pleased to meet you" the Summoner curtsied"Your hotel seems a bit... elaborate."

"Just my own preferred style, my friends. Oh, but I don't have time for this. I must get back to work" said Dracula.

"You mean finding your missing acquaintance? You may call me Kain" grunted the Dragoon.

Dracula shrugged and walked away a bit until he ran into a dark-haired, pale young woman with dark attire"Mavy, what you still doing up?"

"Oh, sorry, dad... Have you seen- Holy Rabies! Who are these people?" said the young woman, cheerily as she saw Sora's group.

Tyler addressed her"Uh, I'm Tyler. This is Sora and the rest of my friends."

"Is this girl your daughter?" Yuna asked Dracula, referring to the teenage girl.

Dracula turned around"Yes, and her name is Mavis."

"Pleased to meet you" Mavis smiled at the group.

The animated Armor from earlier returned"Sir! Quasimodo made it into the kitchen."

Dracula raised his eyebrows"What do I pay you for?" and walked off to the kitchen.

Sora raised an eyebrow, but shrugged it off, figuring it was a different Quasimodo than the one he knew. The animated armor turned back around the corner"He doesn't pay us."

Sora and the rest of his group followed Dracula to the hotel's kitchen, where they were in for a nasty surprise. A large Heartless, the bottom of which resembled a cage, had the red-haired young man from earlier and a slightly small man locked up in its shell.

"What is that doing here?" Sora asked.

"I don't know, but its no monster I've seen before" replied the Vampire.

Sora ran forward"Let me take care of this."

The parasite Cage leapt backwards and unleashed balls of darkness while swinging its limbs violently. Sora and Tidus darted forward, attacking the Parasite Cage only to get knocked back. Yuna summoned Shiva to attack the Heartless. Eventually, the Heartless collapsed back and its 'maw' opened to reveal a black orb. Dracula intervened by freezing the monster in place long enough for Sora, Tidus and Kain to attack the black orb until it shut itself again.

"Whoa!" Tidus dodged as the Parasite Cage flung a poison ball at him. Cecil and Ceodore hacked at the Heartless with Vibra Plus, wearing it down. Irritated, Parasite Cage swung its limbs, only for Sora to counter it with Arc Arcanum and shatter its 'core' with Strike Raid.

"Coming through!" Taios warped into the room and attacked the Parasite with a flurry of combos, followed by a Firaga spell from Serenia, the parasite collapsed, released its prisoners and faded.

"What was that?" Dracula asked.

"A Heartless, nasty little buggers" shrugged Taios"Oh, and Serenia and I left the enchanted tables at the other hallway and came looking for you."

"Well, thanks a lot for helping us" the red-haired young man addressed them as he was brushing himself off"Name's Jon... Johnnystein."

"I'm Sora" grinned Sora.

The miniature man groaned"You're helping them, Count?"

Dracula wordlessly froze the chef in place and beckoned to Johnny to follow him, silently hoping for no more incidents he wasn't prepared for. Serenia was puzzled"Is something wrong?"

"Private business" Dracula replied.

"Uh, is it okay if we tag along with you two?" Taios asked"We're also looking for a certain relic, have you seen it?"

The Count shrugged, but silently led the way to his room. It was somewhat dark and had nothing but a coffin and a concealed painting. Dracula turned to Johnny"I have something to show you."

Sora and Johnny looked around. The red-head was amazed as he saw a picture of a young Vampire woman"You know, I always liked exploring old castles and ruins. This picture reminds me of a castle I previously visited."

"Really? You must have been quite a few places" said Serenia.

"Yeah, but the ruin I mentioned was the home of this woman on the portrait: The Lady Lebeau" said Johnny.

Dracula was surprised to hear his late wife mentioned"What have you heard?"

Johnny elaborated as Sora and the others listened"I heard it went something like this: A lonely count and Lady Lebeau met and fell in love at first time. They wed and moved to her castle. But sometime later, a fire erupted, and they were both killed. Despite their deaths, I could still feel the powerful love that the Count and his wife shared."

The Vampire was silent for a moment"The legend was wrong... It was only the wife who died." He pulled the curtain off the other half of the portrait to reveal his image next to the woman"And it was no mystery who killed her, it was your kind."

"So, you have suffered as well" said Cecil sympathetically.

"Ah, well, people aren't the same as they were back then" said Johnny.

"Do you presume to think that everyone will accept us?" Dracula asked.

"I guess... not everyone" said Johnny.

Dracula was quiet again for a bit"I brought my daughter here to raise her peacefully. As a father, you would do everything to protect your family. And now, Mavis has feelings for you, Jonathan."

Johnny was speechless"Er, well..."

"Do you know about a artifact known as the Dawn Shard, Drac?" Sora inquired.

"Yes. Actually, I found it one day and gave it to Mavis on one of her previous birthdays. Today is my daughter's birthday, Sora. If you want, you and your friends may attend. As for the shard, you'll have to ask Mavis about it" said Dracula.

"Thanks, we'll do that" grinned Sora"Oh, and do we need to pay for rooms?"

"No need, we are mostly booked, but I can arrange a room for you all" replied the Vampire.

The next day found Sora and everyone else in the hotel at the lobby, dancing to music played by animated Skeletons. Ceodore, Serenia and Taios just watched as the band played their song.

"Great party, huh?" said Tidus, beaming as he danced with Yuna.

"Yeah" smiled the summoner.

Above the stage were pictures/symbols of various countries, courtesy of Johnny. The red-headed young man and Mavis met up at the center of the dance floor.

"Wow, you look great" Johnny smiled at Mavis.

Mavis smiled back, and the "young" couple began to dance. Sora smiled as he and Taios watched, Ceodore and Serenia took to dancing along with the music with everyone else. But as Mavis and Jonathan made to kiss, Dracula stepped between them"How could you, after I shared my pain with you?"

"Dad" groaned Mavis.

"How sentimental" The black-coated figure of Saxito emerged from the dark corridor"Heh, quite a party. I didn't miss the cake and ice cream, did I?" He sounded more sarcastic than anything.

"Saxito, again?" Taios gasped.

Saxito smirked as he approached"I sure hope you enjoyed my little Heartless Shenanigan in the kitchen, Sora. I told you before, I bear the cards. Frankly, I am surprised you didn't even try to take the Dawn Shard from this world."

"Dawn Shard? You mean..." Mavis absentmindedly reached into her pocket.

Dracula glared at Saxito"So that monster in the kitchen was yours..."

Saxito smirked"Ah, yes, the son of the original Dracula. You vampires are sooo stupid. And as for you, girl, I believe you have something I need."

"You mean..." Mavis trailed off, uncharacteristically.

"Yes, the stone which is a part of the counterpart to the Twilight Crystal" said Saxito"Of course, I don't expect you to hand it over, and don't blame me if your friends' fates all of a sudden become... Oh, well, unpleasant. And my name is Saxito, who's surprised here?"

"My father said he felt some sort of power from it, but thought it safe enough for me to hold onto for a good luck charm, but I don't really need it, anyway. Not when I've found my Zing" shrugged the teenage Vampire Girl, withdrawing said shard from her pocket.

"And would it be a shock to you if your 'Zing' was in fact, a human?" Saxito gave a sadistic grin"Though I suppose his disguise was quite convincing."

Mavis was shocked as she turned to Jonathan"Is that true?"

Johnny was quiet for a moment"Yes, it is."

Mavis shrugged it off"Well, I don't care, I still love you."

"Well, tough" Johnny said"I hate monsters." He then turned to leave the hotel, but not before going to take off the face paint and change back into his regular clothes.

Saxito laughed"Ah, pathetic."

Mavis groaned and glared at Dracula"This is all your fault!"

Saxito watched as Mavis turned into a bat and flew away"Heh, that was quite some drama. Now, how shall I proceed, next? Perhaps I will mediate this little drama, it would be quite intriguing."

Dracula sighed and left the room. The regular Hotel Guests, meanwhile, were scandalized. Saxito vanished and said"I have a little surprise waiting at the airport, Sora. Come, if you dare."

Sora froze"Okay, what was he on about?"

"Trying to mess with us as usual" shrugged Taios, going to find Mavis. Serenia, Tyler, Tidus and Yuna followed. They walked around the second floor, running into the Count on the way.

A shrunken head addressed Dracula"Well, if it isn't Count Crookula."

Dracula gagged the head and entered the room, Taios's group followed. Mavis was sitting on the sill of her window, reading a book she had recently unwrapped.

"Mavy" Dracula addressed her.

"Dad... Can I ask you a favor? Will you erase my mind?" asked Mavis, feeling dejected.

Dracula shook his head"No, I wouldn't even do that, there's too much I want you to remember."

"Dad... I..." Mavis struggled to say"I thought... Johnny and I zinged, but I guess it was just me..." She turned into a bat again and flew to the roof, leaving the book behind.

Taios shrugged"Now what?" He didn't quite understand these grown-up matters, but it was important.

The male Vampire just read the book Mavis was reading and inwardly thought'Martha, what have I done?'

Taios addressed him"Uh, why did Jonathan reject Mavis?"

Dracula sighed"Its my fault... I'm going to get him."

"You mean, bring him back here?" Serenia asked.

Dracula nodded, and he headed back to the lobby of the hotel, followed by Taios' group. Sora's group was busy getting information and interacting with the panicking guests.

Sora squared his shoulders"I'm going to go find out what Saxito is up to, but which way is the airport?"

"I do not know" said Dracula before addressing three of his friends: A werewolf, a nearly invisible man and what looked like Frankenstein"Everyone, I'm sorry. My daughter and Jonathan zinged, and I got in their way."

"You only zing once in your life... I'm going with you, Drac" said Frank"I liked Johnny, cousin or no."

Sora addressed Dracula"Uh, and they are?"

"They are Wayne, Frankenstein and Griffin" Dracula said.

"Nice to meet you. Sora, right? We were at the party" greeted Frank.

"Same here" grinned Sora.

Dracula addressed the group"Let's go."

The group, accompanied by Dracula's three friends, headed out of the Hotel. Taios was getting a sinking feeling in his chest as they walked"Uh, guys, I think the Airport is south of here, just a hunch."

"A hunch you say? We'll go with it" said Dracula.

"The sun is rising, you might die" said Yuna, concerned. She had learned a bit about vampires during a friendly talk with Mavis last "night."

"I'll just roll" said Dracula.

Taios smiled"Well, what are we waiting for?"

Sora used teleportation to transport himself and the others to a nearby town, it was packed with people in costumes. Frank grinned"That was incredible, Sora."

"Thanks" said Sora.

"Welcome to Transylvania" a man dressed like Dracula greeted them.

Sora smiled"Hey there."

The man grinned"You come to join the party?"

"Actually, we're looking for someone. We're going to the airport" said Taios.

"You should have left an hour ago, blah, blah, blah" said the man.

Dracula sighed"I never once in my life said 'blah, blah, blah.'"

"Uh, guys, look" said Taios, seeing the sky turn a twilight hue all of a sudden.

"Is that Saxito's latest plan?" Sora hurried through the crowd, followed by Serenia and the others.

The group raced to the airport, and saw that an airplane was stuck, trapped in the middle of a twilight shield. Sora groaned"What now?"

Saxito reappeared"Just in time for an unpleasant surprise."

"What?" Serenia was surprised.

Saxito snapped his fingers, and a horde of Dusks appeared, accompanied by what looked like Xion.

"Xion? No, wait, that's not her" said Taios, sensing something was wrong.

Saxito chuckled"Why, of course its not. Heh. This clone will destroy you utterly, unless you're feeling lucky."

"That's what you think" Sora charged at the Dusks, followed by Cecil and Kain. Yuna summoned Shiva to help fight the Agile Nobodies. Dracula helped as best he could through Telekinesis and by fighting in his bat form.

Taios and the Xion clone clashed, ducking and weaving around each other's blows. Tyler and Serenia pitched in with spells, only for the clone to assume an armored form and attack with various techniques. Serenia, Tyler and Taios were driven back.

"Thunder!" Sora intercepted after he had defeated a couple Dusks. The Xion Clone fought back by firing magic beams and spells, which Sora dodged and countered with Strike Raid and a combo.

"Need some help?" Tidus rushed over to the armored Xion clone and attacked with Spiral Cut, only to get knocked back by a combo. Serenia and Tyler cast Thunder Spells, while Taios used Holy.

Dracula, Kain, Cecil and Ceodore finished mopping up the rest of the Dusks before turning their attention to the fight with the clone. Ceodore and Kain charged in with a Double Jump, pushing the Xion Clone back. The Clone swiped with its keyblade, driving the two back, only to meet a Strike Raid to the chest from Sora. The Xion Clone retaliated by flinging knives at the group.

"All right, I hope this works" Yuna signaled Shiva to unleash her Diamond Dust, blasting the clone with some Ice, followed by a Slice n' Dice from Tidus. Taios and Cecil darted forward and attacked the clone with a flurry of combos. The Xion Clone tried to counter, only to receive a flurry of blows from Cecil and Ceodore's Vibra Plus.

"This should finish it" Sora darted forward with a Ragnarok Combo. Succumbing, the clone collapsed, fading into darkness.

"Nice" said Saxito with a smirk"Well, the twilight spell I just activated with my portion of the Dawn Crystal's about to wear off. You better get Drac and Johnny back to the hotel."

Saxito vanished, and the sky returned to normal. Seeing he was beginning to burn, Dracula quickly turned into a bat and went to the side of the plane before it could take off. Sora watched as Dracula located Johnny and used his power to contact him.

"I wonder how things will turn out" Serenia asked.

"Hopefully, for the best" said Taios.

Eventually, Johnny and a slightly smoking Dracula joined them. Sora smiled"I guess its back to the hotel, then."

"Yes, and quickly. I'm burning up, out here" said Dracula.

Cecil cast Teleport and warped the whole group back to Hotel Transylvania. They rushed to Mavis' room, where the female Vampire was sitting quietly on her bed. The "teen" glanced at Dracula"Father?"

"I'm all right, just a little sunburnt" said the Count.

"Dad" Mavis trailed off.

Dracula smiled"You know, your mother gave you a Birthday present, now I will give you mine." He showed her what looked like a backback"It comes with accessory."

The Count turned the backpack around to reveal he was also holding Johnny up. The red-head approached Mavis when the count let him go"Uh, hi."

"Jonathan" Mavis smiled slightly"Uh, why did you come back?"

"Because... I like you" Johnny smiled.

"But you said you hated monsters" said Mavis confused.

Johnny flushed"I was afraid your dad was going to suck me dry if I didn't."

"I wasn't going to" said Dracula.

Sora smiled at the couple's heartfelt reunion and approached Mavis"Uh, can I have the Dawn Shard? My group and I need it for our quest. Its kind of personal."

"Oh, no problem" smiled Mavis, taking out the shard and handing it to Sora.

Sora put the shard in his pocket"Well, my friends and I will be going, now."

Dracula nodded"You are welcome here to Hotel Transylvania anytime, Sora."

Sora and his group left Mavis' room as Jonathan and Mavis started to kiss. Sora and the others in his group headed outside the hotel to talk.

"So, now we have the shards Cosmos sent us to find, minus the one from Weyard" said Sora.

"Sora" the real Roxas appeared.

"Roxas? What's up?" Sora asked.

Sora's Nobody got right to the point"Cosmos has sensed three more shards in this abyss and asked me to come tell you. Turns out there are more than she originally anticipated."

Sora thought for a moment"So there are three more worlds left to check, then. Did she specify which ones?"

Roxas shrugged"Not really, only that one shard exists somewhere in the vast reaches of another Galaxy, easily accessible. The other two are very well hidden, apparently. But there are two worlds besides the one she mentioned."

"Okay. Well, thanks Roxas" said Sora, teleporting away with the rest of his group.

Roxas nodded, he had successfully delivered Cosmos' message, and was now heading off to check on things at the Land of Departure.

Sorry it took so long to get this chapter ready. I know I didn't follow the movie exactly, but I tried to stick to it a bit. Well, turns out there will be a few more chapters than I originally planned.

Had to include a couple actions scenes, by the way. I hope it was enjoyable. Please feel free to review.
