Freya's POV
"Let's do it tomorrow night then."
"Alright. Are you sure Chi?"
"Positive." We waved goodbye and went home. I was so excited. I've known Hidaki for about 4 months. He nice sometimes or a complete jackass. But, you know. That's how it is. We both have phones so we talk or talk from our windows, but that's not enough. I need to talk to my meister more.
"So, why are you so happy?" Mom asked at dinner.
"Oh nothin'"
"Alright." After dinner Mom talked to me.
"Tomorrow you have a date with Hidaki huh?"
"How do you know?"
"I just do."
Damn, just because my mom's friend, Tsubaki, is Hidaki's mom doesn't mean they should share our personal information.
"Do you want help getting ready for your date?"
"Sure Mom."
We talked and talked until I got a text from Hidaki.
"Bye sweetheart I'll leave you two alone."
"Bye." The text said 'Let's talk.' So I stuck my head out the window and he was there smiling. We talked about school and what to do after school when we hangout. We are going to go to the park he knows I love it there. I was about to text Elda since she's my best friend, but we decided to keep it a secret.
Next Day:
I got to school extra nervous trying to not burst with excitement. I made it through the day and then Hidaki and I ran home. We got dressed and went out.
"Wow! The park in the fall is super pretty."
"Yeah."
"Hidaki?"
"Yes."
"Why haven't you tried to you know with me? Every other boy tries." What the hell am I doing?
"Because I uh... I... I like you too much to force you into anything Chi."
"Please call me, Freya. At least not at school, but when were alone it doesn't matter." Am I? Am I in love with him? And am I blushing?
"Why are you so cute?"
"Huh? Me?"
"Hahaha. Yes you."
"I don't know. I don't even think I'm cute."
"Well you are."
