Tris pov
I wake up in Tobias' arms, a smile on my face. His hand rests on my stomach and his head is on my shoulder. He's snoring lightly. I look over and kiss his nose. He stirs a little but doesn't wake up.
The baby starts to push on my bladder so I remove myself from his arms and run to the bathroom, almost peeing my pants.
I must have woken him up, because I hear him laughing as I run. When I come out of the bathroom he says,"had to pee?"
"Yes! Seems like all the time now!"
"Is he pushing down on your bladder?"
"He?"
"Yeah, I kinda think it's a boy."
"Really? Me too."
He smiles at me and says,"maybe we should start thinking of names."
"Yeah, but I can't think of any right now."
We are interrupted by a persistent knocking on the door.I put on my robe as Tobias puts his boxers on and looks through the peep hole. He looks back to make sure I'm dressed as I walk out of our room.
He opens the door and Uriah is standing there out of breath.
"Sh-Shauna-she's awake!"
"Really?!"I say happily.
"Yeah, meet us down at the hospital."
"Okay we'll be there soon," Tobias says.
I walk upstairs to our room and start to put on my clothes. My shirt is starting to get very tight in my abdominal section and my pants don't fit so I have to wear yoga pants.
I groan and say,"I'm getting too big for my pants!"
"We'll have to go shopping, then. Well actually I'm sure Christina would love to take you shopping."
"We'd never leave the stores if we did."
He laughs and says,"maybe you should talk to her about her shopping problem."
"Nah, I think Will has that under control."
When we're ready, we walk to the hospital. When we get there we find a very awake but confused Shauna. When she sees me she says,"Tris, you're pregnant?!"
"Yeah, you knew that already?"I say confused.
"Oh, yeah, sorry I've been having trouble remembering things. I couldn't tell Uriah from Zeke earlier, pretty bad, huh? Especially considering that Zeke is my boyfriend."
I smile at her and Tobias asks her,"what do you remember?"
"Umm, not really much. But all I know is that I woke up in the hospital with this weird thing in my shoulder, and no one would tell me what happened until you came."
He nods and says,"well, this person was lurking in the shadows and then they threw what looked like a bottle and when it broke it let out a gas and I guess those little injection balls. You all passed out and, and Daniel died."
Her eyes well up with tears but she doesn't say a thing.
"And Josh already woke up. We've just been waiting on you. You were the closest to the gas and judging by your size and how much you had in your system we weren't sure when you were going to wake up."
"How did Daniel die?"She asks.
"Blood forced trauma to the head."
"Oh,"she says sadly,"did anything else happen?"
"A lot of is got shot with those same bullet things, and my brother told us that they are used to inject serums into people but they could be filled with anything. So far no one has gotten hurt but anything could happen." I say.
"And there's something we need to talk to all of you about,"Tobias says,"can you meet us in my office in ten?"
"Of course." They say.
He takes my hand and we walk out. When we get to his office he says,"there's something we need to talk about,"he says when he closes the door. I take a seat in his chair and look at him expectantly.
"When we were at your parents house I was thinking that there was something off about Amelia,"he says.
"Me too."
"Then I remembered something," he says and walks to his computer and pulls up a file. He pulls up pictures from the video from the control room. One of them is the one where you can see some of her face.
He points to the screen and says,"look right there. It's a scar on her jaw. Look familiar?"
"Oh my god!"I say.
He pulls up a picture of Amelia and we compare two pictures. The face shape is the same. And the scar is identical. And they are both blonde. It has to be her. Oh no, what if she does something to Caleb?
"Tobias, I have to tell Caleb, what if she tries to do something to him?!"
"Tris, at the right time. People are sensitive about the people they love so he could take it the wrong way."
I try to calm down when there's a knock on the door.
"Come in." Tobias says.
Our friends walk in and wait for Four to say something. Well, most of them do. When Shauna walks in and shuts the door, she turns to Tobias and says,"so what the fuck is going on?"
"Our cake supply has been infiltrated."
"WHAT?!NOOOOOOO!" Uriah cries.
"Yes, she must have put some type of serum in the cake batter before they made it. They make a mass supply of cake for the week, so this whole week is contaminated. Luckily the doctor picked it up when we were there. Apparently it was the cake that caused her to get sick the other day because of the pregnancy."
"Am I going to get sick?" Uriah asks.
"We don't know. It's some type of serum, but we don't know what it does."
"Nothing bad has happened yet to me as far as they could tell, but I got sick and couldn't eat the rest."
"Whoever she is, we gotta find this bitch!"
"That leads us to another thing, we have a suspect."
"Her name is Amelia Matthews."
