CH 45: Revelations
It was just outside of Saffron city and a group of Kanto army rangers were doing some recon on the city interior.
The rangers were wearing special camo uniforms to keep themselves hidden.
"See anything corporal." One of the rangers said to another who was using a sniper rifle.
"Nothing yet Sarge. Just ordinary rocket crap, I think I saw one piss on a lamp post a few minutes ago."
"Oh god, I can't wait till we retake this city. Give these low lifes what's coming to them." Another ranger said.
Another ranger low crawled up to them.
"Sgt, I just got word from Colonel Surge. He wants an update, anything to report?"
"Nothing yet sir, wait." The Sgt said as he saw a Fearow wearing army attire flew back over to them and land.
"Ow." It quietly sqwuacked.
"Fearow's back, let's see if we got anything." The Sgt said as he took the hidden camera off her underside.
The first Lieutenant and Sergeant looked at the feed the Fearow collected and saw several vans moving away in a few specific area of the city.
"Good girl." The Sergeant said petted the Fearow.
"Outstanding, Surge will like this. Corporal get this back to the command post." The 1st Lieutenant said.
"Yes sir." Another ranger said as he took the device and low crawled away from their position.
Several miles away was a large fortified position filled with Kanto soldiers, armored assault vehicles, military support pokemon, and artillery.
Inside a command makeshift building were several soldiers looking at a holographic read out of the city.
One of the men was none other than Colonel Surge with his Riachu beside him. Another man across from him was also a colonel and had a shaved head with regular light skin and blue eyes. He was tall and very bulky with a muscular body.
In between the two were a pair of Lt Colonels and a Command Master Sergeant.
Moments later another Sergeant walked in.
"Gentlemen, newsfeed from the rangers recon team." He said as he saluted them.
"Thank you Sergeant." Colonel Surge said as he put the recorder in the city read out.
They saw vans going to 4 specific areas of the city.
"These vans have been going to these areas on the last 4 reckons we've seen. We have to assume that's where the explosives are." One of the Lt Colonels said.
"All do respect sir, are we really going to risk thousands of lives on assumptions?" The Sergeant major said.
"Well we just got news from General Thompson, apparently he's got the chairmen breathing down his neck." Colonel Surge.
"I can see why, how does the Kanto region look as a nation if a criminal organization can hold a city hostage." The other Lt Colonel said.
"Plus the people of Kanto are going crazy, they want the city and the people inside both safe." The first Lt Colonel said.
"So we go with General Thompson's plan then, we use Steelix's to burrow under the city and up to these coordinates and send in ranger teams to secure the sites. Once they secure them, then we send in the air cavalry." The second Colonel said.
"Sounds like the plan is complete, I'll go tell General Thompson." Colonel Surge said.
"Alright, but I'm afraid you'll have to do this without me Surge." The second colonel said.
"Colonel O Brien, you can't just run off." Surge said.
"I've been reassigned. Major General Holt's orders, he wants me to help with the clean up of any remaining rocket grunts in Matra city."
"You're going with the marines sir?" One of the Lt Colonels said.
"I'm afraid I'm off, good luck." Colonel O Brien said.
He left the command post and back to his tent. Once he was there he took off his military uniform and put something else on.
He then moved carefully and stealthily out of the position.
Once he reached a tree, he scaled up it and parkoured across the trees until a large camp.
He performed a leap of faith into a pile of leaves strategically placed down there.
He came out and saw a pair of aura guardians in front of him.
"Master O Brien, glad you could join us." one of them said.
The master walked past them and to a specific tent where he saw none other than Felix sitting with his head down and his hands on his forehead. Kneeling in front of Felix was his Lucario who had his paws on Felix's shoulders, trying to comfort him.
The master could feel a great amount of fear and stress in Felix's aura.
"I haven't seen you this depressed since the mine incident." The guardian said.
Felix turned and saw him.
"Paul." He said as he got up and hugged him.
"It's alright Felix, I'm here for you. We're going to rescue your wife." Paul said.
"I haven't slept for almost 2 days, just the thought of what he could be doing to her."
"Hey! Keep those thoughts out of yer head. She's going to be safe, I promise. Now how are those boys of your's holding up?" Paul asked.
Elsewhere in the camp Ash and Red were sparring with each other.
Korrina and Lucy were doing the same as Brock and Serena watched them. Serena noticed Ash and Red were getting pretty intense with their sparring.
She could understand why they were being so intense, but she was afraid they might hurt each other.
The camp had over 2 dozen aura guardians from all over Kanto preparing for the mission ahead of them.
"Focus Ash!" Red shouted.
"I am!" Ash shouted back.
As Korrina and Lucy finished they saw the two brothers.
"Uh Red, I think you need to calm down a little." Korrina said.
"Ash please destress a little." Serena said.
The two brothers stopped sparring and put their guardian attire back on before walking over to them.
"We have to be ready." Red said.
"We do." Ash said.
"Well the two of you are getting a little too intense." Brock said.
"In my experience , too intense can be a good thing at times." A familiar voice said.
The group turned to see Diana approaching them.
"Diana please don't encourage them." Korrina said.
Diana laughed.
"It's what I do, anyway Master O Brien is here and he'll be going over the plan." Diana said.
They followed Diana to another tent where they saw Paul and Felix.
"Paul." Red said.
"Red, good to see you and yer brother. Now that everyone is here we can go over the plan. So I know General Thompson is planning on having the army raid the city and take out their explosives. I've gone over it myself, the army will liberate the city at 0100 this morning. But knowing the rocket leadership they will escape with Delia and Alexa, that means we have to move in first and rescue them." Paul said as he showed a read out of the city.
"What's the plan then? We don't even know where they are?" Another guardian asked.
"We believe they're inside the Silph company building. The plan to get us there is the same plan the army is using to get to the explosive cites. We use a Steelix to burrow under the building and then inside."
"Once we're inside we split up into groups and search the building for Delia, Alexa, and the leader of team rocket." Felix said.
" If the rocket leadership is here then this place will be crawling with rocket sentinels, the officers, plus I'm guessing the traitor will be there too." Diana said.
"I'm hoping the traitor is here. I'm going to bring him to justice." Paul said.
"You have to be careful, he's bested many guardians. Including some sent by the mentor." Lucy said.
"I ain't afraid of him. I'm the best fighter in the brotherhood." Paul said.
" If anyone can handle the traitor it's Paul." Felix said.
"What if someone else finds the traitor. I'm sure many of us younger guardians wouldn't stand a chance against him?" Korrina asked.
"If you see the traitor , don't fight him unless you're in a group of at least 3. We don't want any fatalities here." Paul said.
"We want to leave before the army sends in their rangers. So we begin at eleven o clock tonight. That gives us plenty of darkness to work with and gives us two hours before the army begins." Paul said.
"Meet up here at 10:30, that's when Steelix starts digging." Felix said.
"Come on we better get something to eat, it's gonna be a long night." Brock said.
"I'm afraid you won't be coming Brock, or you Serena." Felix said.
"What?" The two said.
"He's right, this job is dangerous. Far to dangerous for the two of you. Besides we need to move with stealth, only guardians can move with the stealth we need." Paul said.
"Dad we." Ash started.
"No arguments son, this is how it has to be." Felix said.
Ash and the others turned to Serena and Brock.
"Guys." Lucy started.
Serena sighed.
"I don't like being left out of these situations just because I'm not like you. But it seems you're not the ones who are in charge this time." Serena said before she put her hand on Ash's cheek.
"Save your mother, stop whoever's running this." Serne asaid before kissing him.
The group waited anxiously for nightfall, as the hours slowly passed and the stars finally lit up the sky.
At 10:30 the aura guardians met at the center of camp as one let out a Steelix and mega evolved him.
"Alright remember the plan, stick together in groups. But cover as much distance as you can. Our top priority is to rescuing Delia and Alexa. Our secondary objective is to find the leader of team rocket and bring him to justice. Also to bring the traitor in to justice. Does everyone understand?" Felix asked.
There were no objections.
"Alright let's get underway." Paul said.
The mega Steelix began to burrow his way under the ground making a nice big tunnel for the aura guardians to follow.
It took some time for Mega Steelix to burrow under the city itself but eventually he reached his destination.
In front of the Silph company building , a pair of rocket grunts were standing guard.
"How did we get night duty?" One asked.
"Do you have to ask? You were the the one who mouthed off to Isabel of Infestation." The other said.
Moments later the ground began to shake below them.
"What the?" One started before it burst open and hurled them back into the building walls, knocking them out.
Steelix raised his head up and out of the tunnel and saw the two knocked out grunts. He saw no other grunts near by and then looked down into the tunnel.
"Grooo." He growled quietly.
The aura guardians climbed out of the hole and stood before the Silph company tower.
"Alright it's 11:00 we have two hours. Let's get in there and save Delia and Alexa" Felix said.
He and Paul went inside first as most of the other guardians began scaling the side of the building and breaking into upper levels through the windows.
"Lucy, feel like going on another mission together just like old times?" Diana asked.
"Always." Lucy said before they too began to scale the walls.
Moments later the Mega Steelix picked up Brock from behind and lifted him up to the window Lucy just broke in.
"I'm going to stay here in case team rocket brings in help." The guardian next to the Steelix said.
"Alright let's get in there and save mom!" Red shouted.
He rushed in followed by Ash and Korrina.
Inside the reception area they saw several knocked out rocket grunts and a pair of dead sentinels with a few knocked out Nidorinos.
"Looks like dad and Paul made quick work of them." Red said.
Korrina looked around and saw an elevator.
"Guys look an elevator, maybe we can take it right to the top." Korrina said.
Ash walked over to the elevator and tried to open it, but it said access denied. Officer ID required.
"Looks like we need some kind of key card to use the elevator." Ash said.
"I guess we're taking the stairs." Korrina said.
The 4 went up the stairs and found themselves in an office filled with cubicles.
Ash, Red, and Korrina used their aura vision to look through the cubicles. They saw several glowing red auras throughout the office and a few frightened blue ones.
"I'll try to free any Silph company employees here. You take care of the grunts." Korrina said.
"Alright , be careful." Red said.
Ash and Red carefully made their way through the cubicles , catching several grunts off guard before putting them in choke holds. Pikachu used thunder on a few guards who almost saw them.
Meanwhile Korrina snuck into the first cubical and saw a few workers tied up and gagged.
"Hmp?" One said upon seeing Korrina.
She was about to go over to them when one gave a gagged sound while motioning towards a sleeping grunt.
She quietly went over to the grunt and took his electric baton.
She then tapped his shoulder, waking him up.
"huh?" The grunt said seeing Korrina smile with her eyes closed before she pressed his electric baton into his chest, knocking him out.
After doing so she freed the 3 workers.
She made her way to the other cubicles , freeing the workers one by one.
Eventually Ash and the others met up by the staircase.
"We got all the grunts." Ash said.
"I freed all the workers." Korrina said.
Moments later another rocket grunt walked down to the floor from another level.
"Alright guys let's microwave some popcorn , I'm starving." The grunt said before he saw the other grunts knocked out and the group.
"Oh hell." He said before he pulled the fire alarm.
The alarms sounded and the grunt ran off.
"So much for the element of surprise." Korrina said.
"We won't have much time, we need to keep moving." Red said.
The group rushed up the stairs and saw an open room with no cubicles but a few desks.
The group saw a pair of aura guardians with a Mega Blastoise and a Mega Scizor beside them battling a pair of rocket sentinels and two Hitmonchan.
With the alarms going off Ash saw several grunts run down the stairs from the next level.
"Come on we need to help them!" Korrina shouted as she sprinted at them.
She let out her Lucario and Mega evolved him before he used Extremespeed to knock out 3 Nidorino.
As that happened Korrina acrobatically leapt up and smashed her foot across a rocket grunt's face, hurling the woman onto the ground.
Korrina then sliced through two electric batons with her hidden blades as a pair of grunts came at her.
She then knocked the left grunt's arm aside with her left fore arm before smashing her right elbow across his face and bringing her right foot into the last grunt's neck.
As this happened Pikachu zapped 3 Nidorino while Ash held another grunt in an arm bar before smashing his head into a desk.
As the grunt fell Ash thrusted his right hidden blade through another grunt's electric baton. Ash then smashed his foot into the man's calf before punching him.
A third grunt came from behind only to be hurled back when Ash sprinted up a beam and then leapt off it snatching the grunt by his neck with his feet and twisting him.
Red had his hidden blades locked with a third rocket sentinel who then blocked two of Red's strikes before striking back.
Red caught the strike with his blades in an X before smashing his foot into the sentinel's calf, making him cringe before Red forced the man's sword arm aside and quickly slashed across the man's throat.
After that happened the two other guardians assassinated the two remaining sentinels.
The two guardians and their pokemon rushed up a set of stairs while the group made their way to another.
When they reached the next floor they saw it had an upper level.
The room was mostly empty with plenty of buzzing around them. When they walked in the buzzing got louder.
"Welcome to our humble abode." A familiar voice said.
The group looked up and saw none other than Isabel of Infestation standing on the upper level. The group noticed something strange, Isabel's uniform was replaced by a yellow and black striped dress with wings on the back and a stinger on her behind. Her skin was painted the same colors.
"You." Ash said.
"So you guardians finally came to face us, how interesting. But this is our house, you play by our rules." Isabel said as she snapped her fingers.
Doors on the walls began to open as the buzzing got even louder.
"Feel the wrath of the ultimate swarm! Destroy them my children your queen commands it!" Isabel shouted with an evil grin on her face. She took out a mega evolution stone and touched it.
"Oh no." Ash said before a swarm of mega Beedrill flew out and at them.
"Go Charizard!" Red shouted as his Charizard came out and roared.
"Go Charizard!" Ash shouted as he did the same. When both Charizards were out the two brothers mega evolved them.
"Charizard use Flamethrower around us." Ash said.
"Grauu!" Charizard Y roared as he surrounded the group in fire. This kept the swam of Mega Beedrill away, but didn't knock them out.
"Blow that fire away." Isabel said.
The Beedrill began flapping their wings creating gaps in the fire. When there was a gap a Mega Beedrill flew in. As soon as a Mega Beedrill flew in he was blasted by electricity. Since the Beedrill were in mega form , it wasn't enough to knock them out in one blast.
But it did stun them long enough for Charizard X and mega Lucario came forward and slashed them one by one.
Isabel noticed that her swam was getting smaller and smaller.
"Enough of this, go for broke!" Isabel shouted before he swarm all flew through the fire at once. Despite being burned they made it through and began swarming over the group and their pokemon with their mega pincers.
"Pika."
"Grouu."
"Grauu" The pokemon grunted.
"Hold on." Red grunted through the pain.
That is when Ash had an idea.
"Guys, Brace yourself, it's going to get very hot." Ash said as he pulled the others including Pikachu and Lucario as they got under Charizard Y.
"Aura shield!" Ash shouted.
Together, they generated a shield of aura around them.
"Blast Burn!" Ash shouted.
Charizard Y's tail flame grew massive as his Blaze took effect. He then opened his mouth and unleashed an ocean of fire all around the room.
Isabel had to duck down under the wall to avoid being burned herself.
When the fire ended the aura shield faded and the group saw the entire swarm knocked out.
Charizard X looked at Charizard Y after seeing him knock out an entire swam of Mega Beedrill.
"Grauu." He growled commanding his old friend.
"Great job Charizard." Ash said.
"Pika!".
Korrina looked up at Isabel who saw her swam of Beedrill knocked out.
"Not so tough without your swam are you?" Korrina said.
Isabel smiled.
"You'll never win." She said before she took out a key card and ran into an elevator.
"That's one officer down, how many more are there again?" Korrina asked.
"7 that we know of , but 4 of them generally hang out in groups of 2." Ash said.
"I have a feeling we'll be seeing each of them." Red said.
The 3 went up to the next level and saw a room with 3 walkways over a large drop over an open ground.
Standing in the center of the middle one was a very tall and muscular man wearing black armor similar to that of a knight.
Attached to his sides were a pair of metal boomerangs and two sheathed katanas on his back.
The man had snow white hair and war paint on his face.
on the walkways beside him were a pair of Scizor and sentinels.
"Welcome to Silph tower, better known as rocket tower now." He said in a deep voice.
"Who are you?" Korrina asked.
"Don't recognize me, the last time you saw me I was a skinny fool. A good warrior learns from his mistake, I realized that my boomerangs and body weren't enough. Now thanks to modified supplements and steroids, I am a champion!" Christian saw as he drew his swords and held one in each hand.
"Face me guardians, face me if you dare!" Christian shouted.
"He's mine." Red saw drawing his hidden blades.
"Be careful." Korrina said.
As Ash and Korrina went to meet the two Sentinels and Mega Scizors Red sprinted forward and unleashed a pulse of aura that knocked Christian on his back. Despite being in armor he leapt right back acrobatically.
Christian smiled as he and Red exchanged blows each other. Red was amazed at how fast and agile Christian was able to move two swords in full armor.
The two continued until Red's blades and Christian's swords were locked together in an X. Christian smiled as he forced his swords closer to Red.
Red couldn't believe how strong Christian had become.
"Give it up boy, I'm invincible now!" Christian roared as he forced Red onto the ground.
As Christian came down with his swords, Red hurled himself backwards acrobatically and landed on his feet. He came back in and tried to knock Christian's arms aside, but they were too strong. That is when Red had another idea. He moved to the side and allowed Christian's own force to be used against him as he went across Christian's side and sliced off part of his armor.
As Christian came back Red forced himself inside his arms and sliced off another part of his armor.
Christian raised his arms before Red acrobatically kicked him across the face. As Christian stuttered Red slammed his shoulders into Christian's chest and forced him over the edge. As Christian fell he aimed his forearm and launched a grappling hook that landed on the upper level. He pulled himself up and walked over to the elevator.
"I'll be waiting at the top." He said as he walked inside.
Red looked and saw Ash and Korrina had assassinated the two sentinels and their pokemon knocked out the Scizors.
"That's two beaten, 6 more to go." Korrina said before they went up the stairs.
In the next level they saw large number of metal rods attached to batteries around the room.
Standing in the center were a pair of mega evolved Ampharos. In between them was a tall man wearing a metal cybernetic exoskeleton, and more.
"We meet again boy." The man said in a very metallic voice. He stepped forward revealing himself as Electric Earl. Only, he was different. His right eye was replaced by a robotic eye and his hair was gone with half of the top of his head covered by metal. inside his mouth was metal and his right leg was now completely robotic as well as his left arm.
The group and their pokemon were a bit freaked out.
"What did you do to yourself?" Ash asked.
"After I was defeated again at Matra city, I realized the only way I could truly control technology was to become a machine. I'm stronger now than I ever was before. Now I will get my revenge!" He shouted as he raised his hand.
Electricity flew from each of the rods before it all flew at the group. The 3 guardians quickly formed an aura barrier over themselves but it tore through it and exploded , hurling the group and their pokemon back.
"Ha ha ha!" He shouted before Mega Ampharos did the same.
The group scattered before Pikachu unleashed a Thunderbolt back at one of the Mega Ampharos. The blast hit one and distracted him before being engulfed in fire from Charizard Y then slashed across the face with Metal claw from Mega Lucario.
Korrina ran at Earl and unleashed an aura sphere at him. Earl's robotic leg used magnets to lock into the ground and kept him in place as the pulse hit him.
His robotic arm lit up and compressed before he smashed it into the ground. The wave knocked Korrina off her feet. Earl unleashed another blast of electricity at her. Korrina quickly rolled to the side and formed a shield of aura over her. The blast tore through the shield and hurled Korrina back.
Earl was about to unleash another blast when Korrina unleashed a pulse of aura and knocked his robotic arm aside making the electricity miss.
Ash and Red wanted to come and help, but a pair of Sentinels ran out to assist Earl.
As Earl brought his robotic arm back , Korrina acrobatically leapt up and kicked Earl across the face. He turned his head back and grinned before he grabbed Korrina by the throat and held her up with his robotic arm.
Korrina felt the grip on her throat tighten as she lost more air.
"Korrina!" Red shouted as he did his best to fight the Sentinel and help Korrina.
Korrina jabbed both her hidden blades into Earl's robotic arm. This caused it to temporarily malfunction and open as Korrina fell to her feet.
Korrina then quickly sliced off apart of Earl's exoskeleton before Earl smashed his robotic arm across her arms, knocking them aside before smashing into her face.
Korrina spit out some blood as she was knocked down.
"Korrina!" Red shouted before he slashed his hidden blades across the Sentinel's throat.
As Korrina got up Earl hurled his arm at her again, but she acrobatically backflipped and smashed her foot into the arm, knocking it aside before Korrina stabbed her left hidden blade into the metal on his head.
Earl's head sparked with electricity as he held it.
He growled before running off to the elevator.
Korrina turned to Red who was now standing right in front of her. She smiled before spitting out some more blood.
"What , do you think I needed help." Korrina started before Red grabbed her and kissed her.
"Red, mom." Ash said as he, Pikachu, and his Charizard stood over the other dead sentinel and the knocked out Ampharos.
"Right." Red said before the group continued up to the next level.
The next level was dark , except lit by a few dim lights.
The group could make out two sentinels and a large figure in the center. The figure in the center opened his mouth and fire came out like a Charizard.
It revealed a man bigger than Christian was with what looked like scales on his back with the tail of a Noivern and wings of a small black dragon type. The man almost looked like a human dragon hybrid with a tank on his back with the igniters on the sides of his mouth.
"Welcome twerps, to the lair of the dragon." Duncan said before he breathed more fire.
"Why have all you officers turned yourselves into overblown versions of yourselves?" Ash said as he and the others sweat dropped.
"I am the dragon, tail of a Noivern, wings of a dragonite, skin of a hydreigon all surgically attached to me. I am a dragon now, and you will all burn!" He shouted before he breathed fire at the group. Ash formed an aura barrier over the group that kept the fire away. After the fire faded two Mega Dragonite were around him and came forward with the Sentinels.
As Red and Korrina ran at the sentinels with their pokemon, Duncan the dragon jumped at Ash and smashed his tail into his chest.
Ash hit the ground before Duncan opened his mouth and breathed fire at Ash.
Ash unleashed an aura sphere that went through the fire and smashed into Duncan's face. The dragon stumbled backwards before Ash got up and acrobatically leapt up and tried to kick Duncan. The dragon came back and smashed his wings into Ash, hurling him onto the ground.
Once again he tried to breath fire on Ash, only to have the young guardian roll to the side then get up and acrobatically jump kick Duncan's side, knocking him off balance. He hurled both sets of his claws at Ash. Ash tried to block Duncan's forearms with his own, but the Dragon's force was too much and he was knocked to the ground.
Duncan hurled his claws at Ash only to have Ash kick Duncan's arms aside before leaping up and plowing his knee into the Dragon's face.
Duncan stumbled backwards before he snarled and came back at Ash with his claws. Ash slashed his hidden blade through the Dragon's claws, both sets.
Duncan snarled before he tried to breath fire.
Ash covered his fist in aura and smashed it into the Duncan's face, as the man was forced aside Ash slashed his blades across the tank and kicked Duncan back.
The Dragon fell a few feet forward before the tank exploded and erupted in fire.
Ash covered his face as pieces of metal flew past him. When he and Pikachu looked back they saw Duncan get up and walk out of the fire.
"Graww!" Duncan snarled before he ran into the elevator and snarled again at the group as the door closed.
"Just 2 sets of officers left. One is a set of losers though." Ash said.
"Pika." Pikachu said nodding thinking of Cassidy and Butch.
"Let's go." Ash said.
The group rushed up the next set of stairs and saw another open room with an upper level.
"Geeze this company didn't have a variety of rooms." Korrina said sweat dropping.
"Well well well, look who's here." A familiar voice said.
"Prepare for trouble."
"And make it double."
"Is that?" Red asked.
"To protect the world from devastation."
"To unite all people within our nation."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love"
"To extend our reach to the stars above."
"Jessie." She said as she revealed herself. She was wearing a military like rocket uniform similar to that of sentinels and flew up with a jetpack on her back.
"James." James said as he flew up wearing the same uniform.
"Team rocket blast off at the speed of light."
"Surrender now or prepare to fight."
"Persian that's right." Another voice said.
A Persian standing upright like a human flew up wearing a jet pack as well.
"Well well well, if it isn't our old friends." The Persian said.
"Is that?" Ash asked.
"Oh it's me alright. I decided I could do better as a Persian, my friends agreed."
"Now that you're here we can try out these." Jessie said as her and James revealed mini guns on their arms.
"Not going to battle us?" Red asked.
"Our pokemon can't beat yours, no point trying." James said raising his swords.
Ash and the others returned their pokemon as Pikachu got on Ash's shoulder and they unleashed an aura barrier around themselves.
The 2 rocket officers unleashed a barrage of high caliber bullets that raked across the barrier.
"It's not going to hold!" Red shouted.
"Get ready to scatter." Korrina said.
When the barrier shattered the 3 guardians scattered as the rocket officers flew around firing the mini guns.
Persian also unleashed swift and power gem at them.
Red tried to unleash an aura sphere , which hit James and knocked him back. But since he was in the air he quickly recovered.
Finally Pikachu had an idea.
"Pika chu!" He shouted as he blasted Persian with thunder. The electricity surged through him and shorted out his jet pack, causing Persian to fly into the wall.
"Great job Pikachu!" Ash shouted.
Jessie turned to Ash and fired at him before she too was hit with electricity and had her jetpack short out.
When she crashed James stopped firing and flew over to them before helping them into the elevator.
"Just wait till you see the boss." James said.
"Just two left." Korrina said.
"Let's go, we're almost there." Ash said.
Inside the room they saw another three guardians with a Mega Heracross,Tyranitar, and Lucario battling 3 rocket sentinels each with a Nidoking.
As the group rushed forward they saw several grunts get hurled down from the upper level.
They looked up to see another 2 guardians each with a Mega Gengar.
3 Sentinels leapt down from the upper level as they drew their swords and let out Nidokings.
Ash looked at the upper levels and saw none other then Cassidy and Butch.
A bit more of Cassidy's hair had grown back.
"How did we get stuck rallying the sentinels?" Butch asked.
"If we run Earl said he'd snap our necks ." Cassidy said before she saw Ash below.
"You!" she shouted.
"Yes." Ash said as he let Charizard out.
"Grauu!" Charizard roared.
"Alright then go Raticate!" Cassidy shouted.
"Flamethrower!" Ash shouted.
Before Raticate could even hit the ground, he was covered in fire and then soot. The fire continued on and engulfed Cassidy's head.
"Yahh! Cassidy!" Butch shouted.
When the flames ended Cassidy stood there covered in soot. What was left of her hair disintegrated leaving a large grin on Charizard's face.
Moments later Cassidy and Butch were grabbed by the backs of their heads and smashed them into each other, knocking them out.
Ash looked up and saw Diana standing over then with her Blastoise beside her.
After Korrina and Red assassinated the Sentinel's they were dueling they saw another 3 grunts fly down. They looked up and saw Lucy.
"Guys." Korrina said.
"Look who we found." Diana said as Alexa stepped out from behind her Blastoise.
"Alexa!" Ash shouted.
"Ash, Red." Alexa said.
"Where's our mom!?" Red shouted.
"Giovanni , the leader of team rocket, he still has her. They're on some level called level X, apparently he had it built on the tower just for him." Alexa said.
"We need to get up there!" Ash shouted.
Diana reached down into Butch's pocket and took out a key card.
"Now we can." Diana said as one of the guardians on the upper level walked over to her.
"Take Alexa to safety. We need to get to the rocket leader before he escapes with Delia." Diana said.
"We should all go together." Lucy said.
"No, he could have an army around him. We need to draw them away." Another guardian said.
"We'll deal with Giovanni." Korrina said.
The group met at the elevator as Diana put the key card in.
Lucy and Korrina both felt Ash and Red's anxiety.
"It's alright , we're going to stop him. It's going to end now." Korrina said.
"It will." Ash said.
The elevator went up and then stopped on floor X. The doors opened and revealed a large room that looked like a battlefield.
The group walked in and saw it had an upper level around the field.
As the group walked to the center they looked up and saw all of the rocket officers, save for Cassidy and Butch.
They stared down at them intensely.
"Well, well ,well. Ash and Red Ketchum finally come before me." A dark sounding voice said.
Ash and the others looked up at the center of the edge of the upper area. Standing there was Seir who stood beside a large furnished arm chair.
Sitting there was a man in a black suit with a red R on the pocket protector. He was reasonably sized with brown hair and black eyes. Ash also noticed a large scar over his right eye. It looked like a slash mark. Ash knew there was no mistaking it, it was from a hidden blade.
"So you're the leader of team rocket." Red said.
"I am, my name is Giovanni. I am the boss of team rocket, and you must be Red Ketchum. Your brother Ash Ketchum as well. Sons of none other than Delia Ketchum." Giovanni said as Duncan stepped forward with Delia in his grasp as he held her down at Giovanni's knees.
"Mom!" Ash and Red shouted.
Delia looked down at her boys with a very frightened expression.
"Ash! Red! What are you doing here! This is what he wants!" Delia shouted.
"Indeed,you may have bested all my officers, but I can order my hound Seir to cut off your heads and he can do it. He's bested every guardian he's faced so far." Giovanni said as Seir let out his hidden blades.
"They don't stand alone!" Korrina shouted as she let out hers.
"Pika!" Pikachu growled as he sparked his cheeks.
"Neither does Seir." Christian the Cleaver said as he drew his boomerangs.
"Ha ha ha, you two have caused me so much trouble. First in Kalos, now here. But truthfully, that's not why you must die. Given your mother's and my history I assume you can understand why." Giovanni said.
"What are you talking about?" Ash asked.
"Ha! You mean you never told your sons about our history Delia darling. I'm so disappointed in you." Giovanni said laughing.
Ash and Red turned to their mother who now had a great look of shame and sadness on her face.
"Mom, what is he talking about?" Red asked.
"Ash, Red, you have to understand." Delia said as she started to tear up.
"No, alright then. I'll tell them, boys you think you know your sweet innocent mother. Well I'm afraid you don't. Years before she was your mother, she was just a girl from Pallet town who didn't know what she was doing with her life. That was until she found a good business man, he straightened her up. Took her under his wing , and had her join his organization. He then planned to marry her, until she left him for another man."
Ash and the others looked back at his mother who was now crying.
"Mom, please tell me it's not true." Ash said.
"Ash I."
"I'm afraid it's all to true boy, your mother was once a part of team rocket. Back when my mother ran it, she joined of her own free will. She was also my beloved fiancee, I treated her like a queen and she.
"You treated me like I was a slave! You hit me when you weren't pleased with my behavior! Treated me like an animal!" Delia shouted.
"Silence!" Giovanni shouted as he slapped her across the face.
"Mom!" Red shouted.
"All this time and you still haven't learned to speak to me properly. " Giovanni said before he turned to Ash and Red.
"You see this." Giovanni said as he pointed to his scar.
"Your father, that fool Felix Ketchum. He gave this too me the day he ran off with my fiancee. Now I will pay him and your bitch mother back. By killing you, their only children. But before you die, tell me, what do you think of your mother now?"
Ash and Red turned to their mother.
"It doesn't matter what she did, she's not that person anymore." Ash said.
Delia opened her eyes and looked down at her boys.
"She's still our mother, we know the woman she is and she's not a monster like you." Red said as Delia finally smiled.
Giovanni laughed.
"Forgiveness , so easily. I'm almost impressed, in fact I have an idea for you Ketchum boy. You won the Kalos league 5 years ago. Still think you've got it in you." Giovanni said to Red.
"Why?"
"I may be a business man, but I'm also a bit of a collector. If you can beat me in a single battle I'll let your mother go." Giovanni said.
"What's the catch?" Red asked.
"No catch, I just want to humiliate you before you die." Giovanni said as he took out a pokeball.
After he let it go a massive Rhydon came out and roared.
"Red." Ash started before Red came forward and took out a red pokeball.
"I choose you Charizard!" Red shouted.
Red's Charizard came out and roared before snarling at Giovanni and his Rhydon.
"A fire type? Ha, how did you win a pokemon league? Rhydon use Stone edge."
"Charizard use Steel wing." Red said
Charizard covered his wings in metal before covering himself with them and flying at Rhydon who now unleashed a furry of spiked rocks at him. Charizard used his metal wings to protect himself as the rocks bounced off them.
"Dragon Claw!"
Charizard's claws turned violet before he slashed Rhydon across the face.
"Huh?" Giovanni said as Rhydon stumbled backwards.
"Hammer arm!"
"Charizard use Dragon claw into Flamethrower!"
Charizard waited until Rhydon was close , then used his fore arm to block Rhydon's strike before slashing him across the chest and breathed fire into Rhydon, forcing him back.
"Enough, Rhydon use Horn Drill!" Giovanni shouted.
"Steel wing!" Red shouted.
Rhydon lowered his horn and charged at Charizard. Charizard covered his wings in metal before flying at Rhydon.
"Grauuu!" Charizard roared before he smashed his wings across Rhydon's face, hurling him back. When Rhydon landed he was unconscious.
"Grauuu!" Charizard roared.
"Alright Red!" Korrina shouted.
"Now release our mother!" Red shouted.
Giovanni smiled.
"I think I'll just kill her, and all of you who dare stand alone against me." Giovanni said as his officers stepped up and several sentinels stepped out into the battlefield.
Ash and the others let out their hidden blades.
"That's the thing Giovanni, no aura guardian ever stands alone." Another voice said.
Giovanni looked around to see Paul step up below him.
"We're a brotherhood." Keso said as he revealed himself.
Giovanni looked over at him.
"Every guardian is a brother." Martin said as he revealed himself.
"Y'all can't harm our brothers." Clark said as he revealed himself.
"Reduka has passed judgement on all of you." Lex said as he revealed himself.
"And we are his servants." Aria said as she revealed herself.
"You will answer for your crimes." Karver said as he revealed himself.
"If you stand against one guardian, you stand against us all." Felix said as he revealed himself.
"Kill them! Kill them all!" Giovanni shouted as he got up form his Chair.
Keso drew a tomahawk hatchet and his left hidden blade before engaging Christian the Cleaver. At the same time Martin went at Duncan the dragon, while Aria went at Isabel, Karver went at Earl, Lex went at Jessie, and Clark went at James.
On the ground Paul made quick work of several sentinels while Ash and the others went at the others.
Giovanni watched from above when Felix pulled himself up and in front of him.
"No!" Giovanni shouted as he stumbled backwards.
"Delia run!" Felix shouted before Delia leapt down below only to be caught by Red's Charizard.
"Hello Giovanni, this time you die." Felix said as he leapt forward with his hidden blades out as he prepared to Assassinate Giovanni.
Just before he could Seir came forward and blocked Felix's hidden blades with his own.
Seir looked at Felix very intensely, Felix could feel the man's hate towards him for some reason was stronger than anything he ever felt.
Felix looked back into Seir's eyes. That is when his eyes widened.
"No." He said before Seir knocked his arms aside and grabbed his head. He then stared even deeper into Felix's eyes before his own eyes glowed blue as he connected to Felix's aura. After a minute he let go and unleashed a pulse of aura and hurled Felix back onto the battlefield.
"Dad!" Ash shouted as he and Pikachu ran over and helped him up.
Felix looked back up at Seir.
"I'm leaving! So long fools!" Giovanni shouted as he ran off through a secret passageway.
Seir turned and walked down the passageway as well.
Moments later the other rocket officers retreated as well.
"No we can't let them escape!" Paul shouted.
Ash and the others saw Felix staring at the stone looking like he had seen a ghost.
"Dad, what's wrong?" Red asked.
"Dad, you know the traitor don't you. You knew Seir before he left us." Ash said.
Felix sighed before looking down and closing his eyes.
"His name's not Seir, it's Kal. He's suppose to be dead."
Elsewhere in a hidden passageway Seir and Giovanni walked.
"Those foolish guardians, they think they've won. They've won nothing! I still have my secret weapon, one that will end them all, and win me all of Kanto." Giovanni said smiling.
He lead them to a large room with a massive cylindrical chamber in the center.
"Have you ever heard of Mew Seir?" Giovanni asked.
This caught Seir's attention, he quickly turned to Giovanni.
"The rarest and said to be most powerful of all the legendary pokemon. Well over 20 years ago I funded a Dr. Faraway to find the beast, unfortunately he only found an eyelash. But it was all I needed, I had him do the impossible, create a more powerful clone. I named him Mewtwo. The most powerful pokemon ever, unfortunately he was difficult to control. At least he was, until I found him. I convinced him to stay with me until I finished his armor. Armor that could control him, but it was difficult to build. That was until Christian brought me the amulet." Giovanni said before he pressed a button on a terminal.
The chamber in the center opened revealing a large bipedal pokemon with white skin, large legs, a long violet tail and armor over his body with a helmet over his head.
"Now with Mewtwo under my complete control nothing can stop me, nothing will." Giovanni started.
Seir grabbed Giovanni by his shoulder and pulled him in front of him before stabbing him in the gut with his hidden blade.
Giovanni convulsed once before coughing up blood. Seir slowly lowered him onto the floor while staying closely over him.
Seir then took a deep breath and opened his eyes before looking back into Giovanni's eyes.
"You don't know how long I've waited to do that Giovanni. Twenty years, twenty years I've stood by your wretched side. Now I that I finally get to kill you, oh I have only dreamed of this day." Seir said.
"Why? You betrayed me."
"I never truly served you. I am an aura guardian, I love pokemon more than anything. You're a monster, who kills and uses pokemon like their objects to be used for gaining material possessions. You deserve to die."
"Then why join team rocket?"
"I only cared about Mewtwo, I have plans to rid the world of men like you and I need him. I heard rumors that you had him, but I had to get you to trust me first. Now that I have him, you're of no further use to me." Seir said as he looked over at the pokemon.
He then looked back at Giovanni.
"Before you die though, I want you to know who I really am. You see, we met once before I joined team rocket. That abandoned mining facility, your black market pokemon sales. The aura guardians who came to stop you." Seir said as he lowered his hood and took off the cloth.
Giovanni's eyes widened and gave a terrified expression.
"No, you can't be." Giovanni stuttered.
"Yes, it's me!" Seir shouted as he let both his hidden blades out.
"And I will have, my , Revenge!" He roared before he unleashed a rampage on Giovanni worse than any savage beast.
Blood stained the walls, Seir's blades, his robes, and his face. He stood up and took a deep breath before speaking in an ancient language.
"May Reduka dam your soul to an eternity of suffering." He said before turning to the pokemon.
He walked over to the console and pressed another button. The armor fell off the pokemon as Seir stepped over to him.
The pokemon opened his eyes and saw Seir standing in front of him.
"Hello Mewtwo, my name is Seir. Aura guardian and servant of Reduka. You don't know how long I've been looking for you."
"Aura guardian. My partner spoke of you, he claimed you are the enemy. Those who must be destroyed."
The pokemon said.
"Your partner lied to you, he planned to use you as a slave with that armor."
The pokemon looked down at the armor.
"Then he must be punished."
"Your partner is dead. I killed him, you see I have plans for the world Mewtwo. Plans that require your assistance. I need you to come with me."
"I will not."
"Normally I would love to befriend you, maybe open up an aura connection. Regretfully I don't have the time. You will come with me and do as I say."
"Why would I obey you!?"
Seir reached into his jacket and took out a Tear of Reduka.
"Follow me." Seir said as the pokemon's eyes glowed blue.
Seir smiled before he reached down into the helmet on the floor and came back up with the amulet of Reduka. The creature formed an great white light around himself and Seir.
The two flew up and burst out of the building, heading very far away from Saffron city.

So the true villain finally reveals himself,
I've waited so long for this moment, it feels so good to finally reach it. Sorry if this wasn't as big as you thought, but at least each rocket officer got one final show down.
As for Giovanni, he is as dead as a game of thrones Character.
