I felt like updating very early this week! I hope you all enjoy! Stick around till the end for the official ship names for the couples in the story! I was just wondering, how long would you all like this story to go on for? Like how many chapters should I do? Should I finish it when the current characters graduate/move up a year in school? Or should I continue it into the next school year in the story? Please let me know in the reviews, I'd be really grateful!:)
Friday 20th November:
Blake Phillip's POV:
Blake pulled up outside of Dalton Academy and drummed his fingers against the steering-wheel of his car as he watched the students pour out of the building. Blake spotted Ryan talking to a teacher and he exited his car.
As soon as Ryan saw Blake coming, he said goodbye to the teacher and turned to face him, his arms crossed.
"Can I help you?" Ryan asked, frowning.
"What are you planning?" Blake asked.
Ryan raised an eyebrow, 'I'm sorry?'
"What's with the whole nice guy act lately?" Blake said.
Ryan sighed, 'People can change, Blake.'
Ryan turned and started towards his car. Blake followed closely behind.
"Well yeah, but not that drastically!"
"Ehm, didn't you used to be the clean, goody-goody virgin of the school?" Ryan countered, getting frustrated.
Blake shrugged, 'You did this to me.'
Ryan scoffed, 'No, Blake, you did it to yourself.'
Blake looked down at the ground and Ryan sighed.
"Sorry."
"For what?" Blake asked.
"For not letting you know I was coming back..." Ryan replied, 'I know this whole thing has been tough on you too.'
Blake laughed, 'I don't need your sympathy.'
"Fine, have it your way," Ryan sighed, climbing into his car, 'I thought that we could maybe be friends again.'
Blake shook his head, 'Not happening."
"And why not?"
"I don't like you. I despise you. You broke my heart and you stole Austen from me." Blake said, his eyes starting to well up with tears.
"Actually, Blake, you broke mine. Remember that cousin of mine you slept with?" Ryan replied, tears in his own eyes, 'And Austen isn't a prize to be won, he's a human being. And he deserves better than you cheating on him.'
Ryan drove off. Blake was left standing on his own, tears streaming down his face.
Austen Fischer's POV:
Austen sat down in the booth in Breadstix opposite Avalon and Aaron. Austen had received a text from Ryan saying that he was on his way. Avalon and Austen had come up with the idea of a double date, much to Aaron and Ryan's dismay.
"So how serious are you two?" Avalon asked, taking a bite out of a breadstick.
Austen shrugged, 'Semi-serious. We've only been dating for a few days.'
"Have you two... you know..." Avalon winked at him.
"What?! No!" Austen shrieked, his cheeks burning red.
"But you want to, don't you?" Aaron asked.
Austen stared down at his hands and grinned, 'Yeah, I guess.'
"I don't blame you," Avalon said, 'He's hot.'
Aaron shoved her playfully and Avalon kissed his cheek.
Austen smiled when he felt a warm arm being wrapped over his shoulder. Austen leaned into Ryan's shoulder and the three of them greeted him.
"It's weird, isn't it?" Avalon said, 'How in twelve days we'll all be at eachother's throats for the win at Sectionals?'
"Did you hear that they changed the rules so that two groups get through?" Ryan asked.
Austen's jaw dropped, 'No! That's even worse!'
"How?" Ryan asked.
"Because then there's only one loser," Austen grinned, 'And it's obviously gonna be you.'
Ryan punched his arm and Austen laughed.
The waitress brought their food and they all dug in. After they were finished their food, they spent about two hours talking about Sectionals before they decided to leave.
Aaron and Avalon were already gone by the time Austen and Ryan had left the restaurant.
"Do you want a ride home?" Ryan asked.
"That'd be great." Austen smiled.
"You know, I have a free house tonight," Ryan said, 'My dad's away on business and my mom and my brother are at my uncle's place.'
"What are you trying to say?" Austen asked, winking.
"Do you want to spend the night?" Ryan asked, wrapping his hand around Austen's waist.
Austen reached up and kissed Ryan's cheek, 'Of course.'
Avalon Brickstone's POV:
Avalon and Aaron collapsed onto Avalon's bed, their lips practically connected. Avalon ripped Aaron's shirt off of him and gasped at his six pack.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Aaron asked, out of breath.
"Yes," Avalon replied, 'I hope you didn't get me all worked up in the car for nothing.'
Aaron smiled and Avalon unzipped her Cheerios outfit.
*An hour later*
"That was amazing." Avalon breathed.
Aaron nodded and Avalon cuddled into his side.
"You promised extra cuddle time." Avalon said.
Aaron laughed, 'Yeah, yeah, I know.'
Austen Fischer's POV:
Austen leaned over Ryan and cupped Ryan's face in his hand as he continued to kiss down his neck. Austen started unbuttoning Ryan's shirt when he stopped him.
"Wait." Ryan said.
"What?" Austen asked, sitting up.
"I want to take thing slow," Ryan said, 'I really want us to work out.'
Austen smiled, 'Okay.'
Austen lay down next to Ryan and leaned into his side.
"Have you heard from Blake?" Austen asked.
Ryan thought for a minute before replying, 'Honestly, yes.'
Austen sat up, 'Really? What did he say?'
"It's not important," Ryan said, 'What is important is what you're wearing for that Christmas Dance we're going to.'
Ryan stared in adoration at Austen as he talked about his planned outfit.
Monday 23rd November:
Charlotte Hudson's POV:
Charlotte walked into the choir room, chatting to Lyssa. The pair took their seats in the front row and continued talking.
"I can't wait to find out what duet we're singing!" Lyssa squeaked with excitement.
"Me too," Charlotte replied, 'I hope it's something from this century.'
Lyssa laughed and Mr. Schuester coughed. Charlotte looked at him apologetically and he nodded at her.
"Okay, everyone," Mr. Schuester said, writing the word 'Sectionals' on the white board, 'I've decided on our set list.'
The drummer did a drum roll and everyone laughed.
"Charlotte and Lyssa will be singing Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus," Mr. Schuester announced.
Charlotte and Lyssa squeaked with excitement and Mr. Schuester continued, 'Followed by a group rendition of Funhouse by P!nk.'
Everyone cheered and Mr. Schuester finished, 'Then we'll end with Valery singing Stay by Rihanna.'
Valery looked shocked and everyone turned to face her.
"Me?" She asked, dumbfounded.
"Yes, you." Mr. Schuester said simply, 'Okay, everyone. Up on your feet. Brittany's going to teach you the choreography to Funhouse.'
Shelby Corcoran's POV:
"Quiet down, everyone!" Shelby yelled over the noise as she stood on the stage.
She looked down at her Troubletones sitting in the seats below her.
"I've made up the set-list." Shelby announced.
Everyone cheered and Shelby removed something from her bag.
"We'll start off with a group performance of Carry On by Fun. Then we'll move into DNA by Little Mix sung by Avalon and Austen," Shelby said, smiling at the cheers, 'And we'll finish with a group performance of Don't Stop Believing by Journey.'
Choosing Don't Stop Believing as a finishing song was something Shelby was sure she wanted to do. She hadn't won a show choir competition since her last years with Vocal Adrenaline, and she was desperate for a trophy. Plus, Sylvester promised a raise in her pay if she won, and Beth needs a new bed.
Shelby was hoping that Don't Stop Believing would throw the New Directions off. She had heard that two show choirs would be advancing to Regionals instead of just one, and she needed it to be the Troubletones and the Warblers.
Ryan Williams' POV:
Ryan sat down at the council's table in the common room and everyone stopped talking.
"I've sent in the set-list to the Show Choir Board of Directors." Ryan announced.
"What?" A Junior stood up, 'You haven't even told us what we're performing yet!'
"Actually, Jimmy," Ryan said, glaring at the boy, 'I did. If you weren't so busy drooling over Alex over there, then you would have heard me.'
Jimmy turned red and sat back down.
"As I was about to say, we're up against the New Directions and the Troubletones," Ryan said, 'I don't want any cheating. You remember what happened last time.'
Joshua Shapiro's POV:
Joshua looked up when someone sat down opposite him in the library. He smiled when he noticed it was Zachary.
"Homework?" Zachary asked.
Joshua nodded, 'What's wrong?'
"What? Nothing." Zachary replied, 'Why do you think there's something wrong?'
Joshua put down his pen and cleared his throat, 'You have your sleeves pulled up. You only ever have your sleeves pulled up when you're frustrated or upset.'
Zachary looked down at the table and started twiddling his thumbs.
"We're meant to trust eachother, you know." Joshua said.
Zachary sighed, 'It's stupid.'
Joshua shrugged, 'I don't care.'
"It's just... I saw you talking to Austen today." Zachary said.
Joshua raised an eyebrow, 'Is that it?'
"Yes."
"Why does that make you upset?" Joshua asked.
"Because Austen has a boyfriend." Zachary replied.
Joshua scratched his head, 'You're gonna need to be more specific with me here, Zach.'
"I found out Austen has a boyfriend from some girl in my English class. I was always the first person Austen told things to, but now, some random girl knows about my best-friend's boyfriend before I do." Zachary explained.
"Oh, that makes more sense," Joshua said, 'Look, Austen has Sectionals in two weeks. He's probably just busy and he hasn't had the time to tell you yet.'
Zachary shrugged, 'I guess.'
Joshua smiled at him and Zachary leaned closer to him.
"Wanna get out of here and have sex in the back-seat of my car?" Zachary asked.
Joshua shrugged, 'Yeah sure.'
Lyssa Carrington's POV:
Lyssa waited anxiously in the empty classroom and triple-checked her phone to make sure that the texts had gone through. She'd asked Eloise and Jonas to meet her here five minutes ago.
Just then, the door opened and Eloise rolled in. She rolled her wheelchair over to Lyssa and smiled. The door opened again and Jonas walked in. Eloise turned around and scowled at him. Jonas saw her and turned to leave, but Lyssa stopped him.
"This has gone on long enough," Lyssa said, 'We need to talk about what happened.'
Jonas looked at the floor and Eloise grimaced at him.
"I know you two are probably over eachother, but that doesn't mean we still don't have to talk about this.' Lyssa said.
Jonas turned to Eloise and kneeled down in front of her, 'I'm so sorry.'
Tears started streaming from his face and Eloise started crying too.
They hugged and whispered to each-other for about ten minutes.
"Thanks, Lyssa." Eloise said as she left the classroom.
As soon as Eloise left, Jonas moved closer to Lyssa.
"So, did you two get back together?" Lyssa asked.
"No," Jonas replied, 'We've both moved on to other people.'
"Oh, okay."
Lyssa turned to leave but Jonas swirled her around and crashed their lips together. Lyssa tried to pull away, but instead, she ended up leaning into the kiss and deepening it. After a while, Lyssa pulled away and shook her head.
"No, this isn't right." Lyssa said.
"Why not?" Jonas asked.
Lyssa opened the door and turned around before leaving, 'It just isn't.'
Santana Lopez's POV:
Santana sat down in the Lima Bean opposite Brittany and Quinn.
"So, what do you think of the glee club this year?" Santana asked.
Quinn shrugged, 'They're good.'
"I don't like them." Brittany said.
"No," Quinn corrected her, 'You don't like Valery because you still have feelings for Santana.'
"Shut it, Q." Santana spat.
Quinn laughed, 'Do you know who reminds me of you?'
"Who?"
"That Tayla girl," Quinn replied, 'She's just like you.'
Santana scowled, 'She's a bitch.'
"And you aren't?" Quinn asked.
Santana winked at Quinn.
"That Lyssa girl kind of reminds me of you." Santana said.
Quinn nodded, 'Yeah, we're kinda similar.'
"Who reminds me of you?" Brittany asked.
"No-one," Santana frowned, 'They all have an IQ of above 10.'
Brittany narrowed her eyes at Santana and Quinn had to bite her lip to stop herself from laughing.
Tuesday 25th November:
Lyssa Carrington's POV:
Lyssa made her way down the halls, ignoring the dirty looks she'd been receiving lately. A boy just taller than Lyssa shoved her and knocked the books out of her hands. Lyssa shot him a dirty look before bending down to pick them up.
"Need any help?"
Lyssa looked up to see Quinn Fabray standing over her.
"No."
Quinn bent down anyway and started handing Lyssa the papers that were strewn throughout the floor.
"That used to happen to me for a while." Quinn said.
Lyssa looked up at her, 'How did you get them to stop?'
Quinn shrugged, 'They stopped doing it after Santana, Brittany and I started hanging out together again. I guess they were intimidated.'
Quinn and Lyssa stood up and Lyssa thanked Quinn.
"Don't mention it," Quinn smiled, 'See you around.'
Lyssa stared at Quinn's retreating figure for a while before turning on her heels and searching for Tayla through the sea of students. She spotted her being shoved against her locker by Lindsay.
Lyssa stormed up to them and pushed Lindsay aside.
"What do you think you're doing?" Lyssa asked.
Lindsay scoffed, 'None of your business, fat ass.'
"I'm going to give you till the count of three to leave before I shove these books so far down your throat that you'll be coughing up notes on the Human Reproductive System all week." Lyssa snarled.
Lindsay narrowed her eyes and laughed. She turned away and left the two girls.
"Thanks." Tayla muttered.
"Looks like we're both at the bottom of the food chain now..." Lyssa said.
"I know."
"I think I know how we can work our way back up." Lyssa said.
Tayla looked at her, 'How?'
"Well, the first thing we need to do is to get you back on the Cheerios." Lyssa smiled.
"And how are we going to do that?"
Lyssa grinned, 'I have my sources.'
Blake Phillip's POV:
Blake downed another shot and slammed the glass down onto the bar table. He stood up and looked around. Blake was a regular at Scandals, so he could see some familiar faces. He spotted a boy around his age sitting alone in the corner. Blake sat down next to him.
"Hey." Blake said.
The boy gave Blake a confused look before getting up and walking to the other side of the club. Blake looked up and grimaced when he noticed Ryan standing in front of him.
"What are you doing here?" Blake asked, 'I thought you were in a happy relationship.'
"I am," Ryan replied, 'I just always know where to find you.'
Blake looked around and noticed that Ryan was being checked out by almost every man in the club. Ryan seemed to notice this too, because he made a disgusted noise and sat down next to Blake.
"What do you want?" Blake asked, looking down at the floor.
"I want us to be friends again," Ryan said.
Blake looked up at him, shocked. Blake shook his head.
"No, we always end up hurting each-other." Blake replied.
"We're older now. We're more mature." Ryan explained.
Blake sighed, 'I dunno.'
"Come on! Remember when we used to sing together?" Ryan asked, smiling.
Blake's lips curled into a smile, 'Yeah. We were amazing.'
"Wanna go again?" Ryan asked, nodding in the direction of the stage.
Blake laughed and stood up. They both walked up onto the stage. The men in the bar whistled at them and Blake winked at them. Ryan walked over to the music player and chose a song. Blake smiled at the song choice.

Blake moved to the centre of the stage and Ryan stayed in the background.
Feels so good being bad
There's no way I'm turning back
Now the pain is my pleasure
Cause nothing could measure
Love is great, love is fine
Out the box, out of line
The affliction of the feeling
Leaves me wanting more
Ryan walked up beside Blake. Blake started grinding against him while singing the chorus.
Cause I may be bad
But I'm perfectly good at it
Sex in the air
I don't care
I love the smell of it
Sticks and stones
May break my bones
But chains and whips
Excite me
Ryan playfully shoved Blake out of the way and walked down the steps so that he was among the crowd.

The pair finished facing each-other and the crowd went nuts. Ryan and Blake climbed down from the stage and Ryan pulled Blake in for a hug.
"Uhm, Blake?"
"Yeah?"
"What's that in your pocket?" Ryan asked, 'It's rubbing against my leg.'
Blake blushed and pulled away from Ryan as fast as he could.
"Oh." Ryan said, shocked.
"Sorry... that was just... really hot." Blake said, awkwardly scratching his head.
"It's fine." Ryan laughed.
A boy of around 19 years old tapped Ryan on the shoulder.
"Hey, you're hot." The boy said.
Ryan laughed, 'Thanks.'
"Wanna get out of here? My car's just outside." The boy said.
Blake was practically drooling over him. The only person that Blake knew that could possibly match his looks was Ryan himself.
"I'm not single." Ryan laughed.
"So?"
Ryan narrowed his eyes at him, 'So you better get out of here before I shove my foot up your ass.'
The boy smirked, 'See you around, hot stuff.'
Ryan sighed, 'I better go. Call me later.'
Blake nodded. Blake couldn't help but check Ryan out as he walked away.
Friday 28th November:
Austen Fischer's POV:
Austen hopped off of the bus and started the short walk to Ryan's huge house.
Austen would be lying if he said he wasn't slightly offended that Ryan hadn't wanted to... you know. But, Austen respected Ryan's choice. He was just confused as to why Ryan was able to have sex with people before Austen, but, for some reason, got nervous whenever Austen tried something.
Austen arrived at Ryan's front door and knocked. Ryan's mother, Nora, answered the door. Austen gasped when he noticed that she had a busted lip and a black eye.
"Ms. Williams... are-are you okay?" Austen asked, worried.
"I'm fine, dear. I just... I just took a little trip down the stairs is all..." Nora said, lowering her gaze to the floor, 'You're here to see Ryan I'm guessing?'
Austen nodded and Nora opened the door wider. Austen smiled politely and stepped inside.
"Ryan's upstairs in the shower. You can wait in his room, if you'd like. I'm heading out now. Ben's at a friend's house and... Ryan's father is at work. Tell Ryan I'll be back in about two hours." Nora said, picking up her purse.
Austen nodded and Nora shut the door behind her. Austen headed up the stairs and started towards Ryan's room. As he passed the bathroom, he couldn't help but notice that the door was slightly ajar. Austen peeked in and noticed Ryan standing in front of the mirror, a towel wrapped around his waist.
Austen tried to look away, but his eyes were glued to Ryan's toned physique. Eventually, he convinced himself to look away. He knew that Ryan wouldn't be happy if he'd seen Austen staring at him.
Austen made his way into Ryan's room and sat on his bed. A few minutes later, Ryan entered the room wearing a pair of jeans. He jumped when he noticed Austen and Austen laughed.
"You scared me!" Ryan shrieked.
Austen looked Ryan up and down. He'd never seen Ryan topless before.
"Sorry." Austen replied distractedly.
"Are you okay?" Ryan asked.
Austen brought his attention back to Ryan, 'Yeah. Sorry. I've just... missed you.'
Austen stood up and walked towards Ryan. He wrapped his arms around Ryan's neck and pulled Ryan in closer. Their lips found eachother softly. Austen started to move his hand further down Ryan's exposed back, but Ryan pulled away.
Austen removed his hands from Ryan's neck and he stood there awkwardly.
"Okay, am I not attractive to you or something?" Austen asked.
Ryan looked up at him, shocked, 'No. You are!'
"Then why do you always get awkward when I try something?" Austen questioned, 'I mean, you've had sex before!'
Ryan looked hurt, 'What makes you think that?'
Austen suddenly realised that Ryan had never told him he wasn't a virgin.
"Uhm, well... I just assumed... I mean, look at you!" Austen defended himself.
Ryan looked down at the floor. He pulled a t-shirt out of the nearest drawer and put it on. Ryan moved past Austen and sat on his bed.
"I'm a virgin, Austen."
"What? Seriously?" Austen asked, surprised.
Ryan narrowed his eyes, 'You sound surprised.'
"Well, like I said, look at you!"
Ryan shrugged, 'I've just haven't felt that kind of connection with someone yet. Until now. With Blake, we were way too young. And with Lindsay... I dunno. It just wasn't there, you know?'
"Wait... they're the only two people you've ever dated?" Austen asked.
Ryan nodded. Austen suddenly felt angry at himself for judging Ryan so quickly. Austen sat down beside Ryan and held his hand. He lay his head on Ryan's shoulder.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't worry about it," Ryan said, 'I know that it's not fair on you.'
Austen shrugged, 'I'm not going to rush you.'
"I've tried to keep going when you try stuff... but I just can't. It's hard to explain." Ryan explained.
Austen planted a kiss on Ryan's cheek, 'You shouldn't be apologising. I'll wait as long as you need.'
"Thank you," Ryan smiled gratefully, 'Wait, are you a virgin?'
Austen's cheeks burned red, 'Uhm, well... no. But I've only ever done it once!'
Austen remembered back to the summer before the start of this school year and told Ryan the story.
"Austen! Stop!" Zachary squealed, shielding himself.
Austen laughed and continued to spray his best friend with water. Zachary screeched and ran into Austen's house.
"You're 17! Stop acting like a 7 year old!" Zachary laughed.
"Okay, okay. I'll stop." Austen said, putting the water gun down.
Suddenly, Zachary reached forward and grabbed the water gun. He proceeded to spray Austen and Austen screamed. Eventually, the water gun ran out of water and the pair were left standing in Austen's hall, soaked to the skin.
"You can borrow some of my clothes." Austen said as they both climbed the stairs to Austen's room.
Austen handed Zachary a dry pair of jeans and a t-shirt. They both started to strip out of their wet clothes.
"Eventually, one thing lead to another and... we ended up in bed together." Austen finished.
Austen looked at Ryan, expecting him to look angry or upset.
"I'm glad you told me," Ryan said, smiling, 'Some people would have just lied.'
Austen smiled at his amazing boyfriend. How could he have gotten so lucky?
Blake Phillip's POV:
Blake woke in a sweat. His dreams had been plagued by images of Ryan and Austen leaving him. He sat up in his bed and glanced at the clock. Half three in the morning. Blake groaned and tried to get back to sleep. After an hour, he sat up in his bed, frustrated.
He picked up his phone and dialled Austen's number.
(Blake Austen)
...hello?
Hey, it's Blake.
Blake... it's half four in the morning. Goodbye.
Blake sighed and dialled a number he hadn't dialled in years.
(Blake Ryan)
Blake?
Hey... I know it's early but...
It's fine.
Did I wake you up?
Yes, but that doesn't matter. What's wrong?
I.. uhm... I don't know anymore, Ryan.
What do you mean?
I'm still not over Austen.
...
And I'm still not over you.
... why are you telling me this?
I don't have anyone else I can talk to about this...
Blake... we gave us a shot, and it didn't work out. You even lied to Austen about what happened between us.
I know, Ryan. But... I love you. So much. And I'm sorry for not telling you that when I had the chance.
Blake... stop...
Every time I sleep with a guy... it doesn't mean anything. I imagine it's you in the bed with me.
No... Blake. You think you love me. You don't. You're just upset over losing Austen.
No, Ryan... this is something big. I know it is.
Blake. Please stop!
No, Ryan I won't. I'm getting you back. No matter what it takes.
*End of call*
