Ch 69: Battle between Brothers
It was nighttime in the Indigo Stadium.
Ash and Red stood at opposite ends of the battlefield staring at each other.
In the stands Serena sat beside Korrina and the others.
"I can't believe we get to see Ash and Red battle again." Bonnie said.
"It will be just like 6 years ago." Korrina said.
"No it won't" Serena said.
Korrina smiled.
"You said it wouldn't turn out the way it did 6 years ago and it did." Korrina said.
"I don't think so." Serena said.
Daniel and Serina sat beside Oak.
"So who do you think will win?" Oak asked.
"Hard to tell, it could go either way." Daniel said.
"Ready?" Red asked.
"I've been ready for 6 years." Ash said.
"Both trainers are ready to battle, trainers choose your pokemon." The ref said.
Ash and Red both reached for their pokeballs at the same time and held them up the same way before throwing them forward.
"I choose you Pidgeot!" They both shouted Ash's Pidgeot came flying out and Ash saw an equally large Pidgeot fly over Red.
"You caught a Pidgeot?"
"You weren't the only one to catch more pokemon." Red said smiling before he revealed his hidden blade bracer and touched his mega evolution stone.
Ash quickly did the same and both Pidgeots began to mega evolve.
"Ott!" Both shouted as they took their mega forms.
"Well folks we start off this match with 2 Pidgeots."
"Pidgeot use Hurricane." Ash shouted.
Ash's Mega Pidgeot quickly unleashed a massive cyclone of wind right at Red's Mega Pidgeot.
"Ride the wind." Red said.
His Mega Pidgeot rode the wind and moved easily through the hurricane as Ash gave a frustrated look.
"Air Slash!" Mega Pidgeot burst out of the Hurricane right at Ash's Mega Pidgeot.
"Pidgeot use Agility!" Ash shouted.
"Ott!" Ash's Pidgeot shouted as he narrowly moved up and out of the way.
"Come back and use Air Slash!" Ash's Mega Pidgeot turned back in a single flight manner and tried to slash Red's Mega Pidgeot.
"Twister." Red said.
Just before Ash's Mega Pidgeot could reach his, Red's Mega Pidgeot unleashed a dragon tornado that hit Mega Pidgeot dead on and pulled him inside.
Ash grit his teeth and tightened his fist.
"Great work Pidgeot." Red said.
"Pidgeot get out through the bottom." Ash said.
Ash's Mega Pidgeot burst out of the bottom of the Twister and flew straight down.
"Brave Bird." Red's Mega Pidgeot glowed blue as he flew down at an angle towards Ash's Mega Pidgeot.
"Wait for it, now re-angle your wings!" Ash shouted.
His Mega Pidgeot made a sharp turn down then up around Red's Mega Pidgeot.
"Turn around."
Red's Mega Pidgeot tried to do the same only to have Ash's Mega Pidgeot covering himself with his metal wings.
When Red's Mega Pidgeot hit him, the metal absorbed the brunt of the attack.
"Air slash!" Ash shouted.
"Ott!" Ash's Mega Pidgeot shouted as he forced Red's Mega Pidgeot's wings aside with his metal wings, before slashing him across the body.
"Got him! Pidgeot get some altitude and finish him with Sky attack!" Ash shouted.
"No you don't , Air slash!" Red shouted.
His Mega Pidgeot chased after Ash's and slashed him across the back.
"Hold on Pidgeot!" Ash shouted.
Ash's Mega Pidgeot did his best to endure the pain and continued flying up before he reached a high enough altitude and began collecting energy.
"He's still going. Use Brave bird!" Red shouted.
Red's Mega Pidgeot glowed blue before he flew straight up at Ash's Mega Pidgeot.
Just before he could reach him, Ash's Mega Pidgeot gained enough energy and glowed a lighter shade of blue.
"Sky Attack!"
"Ott!" His Mega Pidgeot shouted before he flew down and crashed into Red's Mega Pidgeot as they both tried to unleash their most powerful attacks.
"Pidgeot!" Both brothers shouted as their pokemon fell to the ground at the same time and hit.
The two Pidgeot reverted back to their normal forms before loosing consciousness.
"Both Pidgeot are unable to battle." The ref said.
"They must be pretty evenly matched." Clemont said.
"Still a tie." Korrina said.
Ash and Red both returned their pokemon.
"You think just because I've been a full time guardian these last years that I stopped training my pokemon and battling them. I've been battling them against real trainers little bro, aura guardians." Red said.
"Impressive, but this won't turn out like it did at the Kalos league!" Ash said as he took out his next pokemon.
"I choose you Goodra!" Ash shouted as he came out and took an aggressive stance.
Red took out his own pokeball and hurled it forward.
"I choose you Aero!" He shouted.
Red's Aerodactyl came out and roared at Goodra.
"Aero, huh." Ash said remembering Aero.
"Let's make this more interesting." Red said as he touched his Mega evolution stone again.
Aero Mega evolved.
"Mega Aero." Ash said as he and Goodra nervously sweat dropped.
"Aero use Agility into Wing Attack."
Aero made several lighting quick movements forward at Goodra.
"Power whip , aim for his wings."
"Dra!" Goodra roared as he unleashed his vines at Aero and wrapped them around his wings, holding him firmly in place.
"Dragon pulse!"
Goodra opened his mouth and roared as he unleashed a massive pulse of dragon energy that crashed into Aero and hurled him back.
"Aero Ancient power with Agility!'
"Goodra use Dragon pulse!" Ash shouted.
Goodra unleashed another massive pulse of dragon energy at Aero.
Using his incredible speed, Aero used the rocks he unleashed as cover from all of the incoming blasts as they tore apart the rocks.
"Get under him." Red said before Aero quickly moved under Goodra's legs.
"Fly."
"Aroooo!" Aero roared as he flew straight up into Goodra's stomach, forcing him up into the air as he did.
"Goodra!" Ash shouted.
When he got high enough, Aero shook Goodra off him and let him fall to the ground before flying back down and crashing into him with Fly.
"Ice fang!" Red shouted.
Just before Goodra could hit the ground, Aero snapped his icy fangs around him.
"Dra!" Goodra cried out.
When Goodra hit the ground he fainted.
"Goodra is unable to battle." The ref said.
"Great work Aero!" Red shouted.
"Goodra return, you battled hard." Ash said as he took out his next pokeball and hurled it forward.
"I choose you Blastoise!" Ash shouted as Blastoise came out and roared at Aero.
As soon as Blastoise came out, Ash touched his mega evolution stone and Mega evolved him.
"Now we're talking. Aero use Ancient Power!" Aero roared as he unleashed several large rocks down at Mega Blastoise.
"Blastoise Hydro Pump!"
"Oise!" Mega Blastoise shouted as he unleashed a massive jet of water from his back cannon and wrist cannons.
The jet of water caught the 4 rocks and carried them back up at Aero.
"Aero use Agility!" Aero moved like a flash of lighting away from each burst of water and rock before he was very close to Mega Blastoise.
"Now use Wing Attack!"
"Blastoise Iron defense!" Mega Blastois covered his shell in metal and tightened his defenses as Aero crashed his wings into him, doing little damage.
"Hydro pump!"
Mega Blastoise aimed his Cannons at Aero but , the Mega Dinosaur was ready.
"Agility and Bite on his legs."
Aero flew quickly around Mega Blastoise's back and snapped his jaws around his right leg before hurling him onto his back.
"Gotcha." Red said.
"Not yet, Blastoise use Rapid spin!" Mega Blastoise quickly got into his shell and hurled himself forward into Aero, forcing him back as he crashed into him.
"Alright now use Aqua tail!" Ash shouted.
Mega Blastoise covered his tail in water and hurled it down at Aero and the watery attack hit Aero hard, forcing him into the ground.
When he did, Aero reverted back to his normal form and his eyes were swirly.
"Aerodactyl is unable to battle."
"Well folks it's neck and neck."
"Keep it up Ash!" Serena shouted.
"Show him Red!" Korrina shouted.
"Aero return, alright your Blastoise is pretty good Ash. But let's see how he goes against this guy. You didn't know this but I made a quick stop in Hoenn just before coming here and caught him there. I've been training him real hard, but you've never seen him." Red said smiling as he hurled his next pokeball.
"I choose you Swampert!" Red shouted.
"Swampert?" Ash said in confusion.
"He has a Swampert?" Serena asked.
Korrina smiled.
"He caught him as a Mudkip. He's one of Red's best pokemon now."
Red smiled as he mega evolved Swampert.
"Swamp!" Mega Swampert shouted.
"Blastoise use Rapid spin." Ash said as Mega Blastoise got into his shell and hurled himself at Mega Swampert.
"Dodge and use Mud bomb."
Just before Mega Blastoise could reach him, Mega Swampert leapt up and over him, hurling a clod of explosive mud onto his shell as he did.
After exploding, the mud forced Blastoise into the ground as Mega Swampert came down at him.
"Hammer arm!" Red shouted.
"Swamp!" Swampert shouted as he smashed his massive arms into Mega Blastoise.
After doing so Mega Blastoise reverted back to his normal form and fainted.
"Blastoise is unable to battle."
"Just like that folks Red brings it back."
"Well done Swampert." Red said.
"I told you how tough Swampert is." Korrina said.
"Come on Ash don't let him get ahead!" Serena shouted.
Ash gave a slight smile as he took out his next pokeball.
"I choose you Lucario!" He shouted as Lucario came out and took an aggressive stance in front of Ash.
"Grouuu!" Lucario roared.
Red smiled.
"That's more like it." Red said as Ash mega evolved Lucario.
"Let's begin. Swampert use Muddy water." Mega Swampert formed a massive wave filled with thick mud and hurled it forward at Mega Lucario.
Ash and Mega Lucario saw the center of the wave was at the thinnest.
"Power up Punch in the center!" Ash shouted.
"Grouu!" Mega Lucario shouted as his right fist glowed red and he leapt up.
When he reached the wave, Mega Lucario smashed through the center. Unfortunately Mega Swampert was waiting right on the other side.
"Mud bomb!"
"Swamp!" Mega Swampert shouted as he blasted Mega Lucario in the chest, hurling him back
"Well done. now follow up with another."
"Lucario dodge and use Aura sphere.
As the second Mud bomb flew at Mega Lucario, he acrobatically leapt up and away from the explosive mud while also forming a sphere of aura in his hands.
Before he even landed Mega Lucario unleashed it right at Mega Swampert.
"Swampert dodge it." Mega Swampert moved surprisingly fast for a pokemon his size and narrowly avoided the attack. Unknown to him and Red, that Mega Lucario had launched another aura sphere from his other hand.
"Swampert look out!" Red shouted when he finally saw it.
Mega Swampert saw the aura sphere just in time for it to crash into his face and make him stumble backwards.
"Swampert use Muddy water!" Mega Swampert quickly unleashed another wave of muddy water at Mega Lucario.
"Lucario punch through but not the exact center."
Mega Lucario burst through the wave and landed on the other side.
"Hammer arm!" Red shouted.
Mega Swampert sprinted over and unleashed a furry of powerful strikes with his large arms.
Mega Lucario used his agility to avoid or block each strike.
"Mud Bomb."
"Lucario look out!" Ash shouted. Mega Lucario did a backflip and landed just out of the range of the Mud bomb as it exploded in front of him. Unfortunately, Mega Swampert leapt through the explosion and crashed his right fist into Mega Lucario's stomach.
"Lucario!" Ash shouted.
Lucario crashed into the ground and grunted as he got back up.
"Muddy water."
Mega Swampert unleashed another wave as he charged up behind it with Hammer arm ready.
Ash took a deep breath before his and Lucario's eyes glowed blue.
"High Jump Kick!"
Lucario got up and sprinted forward before leaping up and through the water , crashing his foot into Mega Swampert's chest before he could bring his arms back in.
"Grouu!" Mega Lucario roared as he hurled Mega Swampert onto his back.
Red smiled.
"Nice, but we still have you. Earthquake!"
Just after hitting the ground, Mega Swampert smashed his firsts into the battlefield, causing a massive ground quake that moved towards Mega Lucario as he landed.
"Lucario!" Ash shouted as the Earthquake his Mega Lucario and did massive amounts of damage.
Ash could feel how much pain Lucario was in.
"You can do this Lucario." Ash said as His and Mega Lucario's eyes glowed blue again.
"Earthquake." Red shouted.
"Jump!" Mega Lucario leapt up just as Mega Swampert unleashed the next Earthquake.
Lucario soared over Mega Swampert as his fists glowed red.
"Close combat!"
"Hammer arm!" Red shouted.
Mega Lucario met Mega Swampert and the two clashed. Mega Lucario using his speed to strike Mega Swampert 4 times every time Mega Swampert could strike him.
Finally Mega Swampert crashed his first across his opponent's face, and Mega Swampert fell onto his back before reverting back to his normal form and fainting.
"Swampert is unable to battle." The ref said.
"Great work Lucario!" Ash shouted.
"Grouu!" Lucario roared as he breathed deeply.
"How about that Korrina?" Serena said.
"Only because he's a Lucario."
"Oh Lucario, forever the fighting champion."Red said as he took out his next pokeball.
"I choose you Haxorus!" He shouted as his Shiny Haxorus came out and roared.
"Haxorus." Ash said nervously as Lucario tried to get back in his fighting stance.
"Lucario use Aura sphere."
Lucario tried to channel his aura, but his fatigue was starting to catch up with him and he unleashed his attack slowly.
"Haxorus use dig."
Haxorus quickly burrowed his way underground before the Aura sphere could reach him.
"Lucario get ready." Ash said.
Lucario tried to feel the ground as Haxorus moved, but his movements were hard to track. Moments later Haxorus burst up under him and hurled him back.
"Lucario!" Ash shouted as Lucario hit the ground and reverted back to his normal form before fainting.
"Lucario is unable to battle." The ref said.
"Alright 4 down and 2 to go!" Red shouted.
"Lucario return. You did great Lucario. Alright we need to do something now." Ash said as Pikachu turned to him.
"Pika!" He shouted.
"Alright. I choose you Pikachu!" Ash shouted as Pikachu leapt down from his shoulder and sparked his cheeks in front of him.
"Pika!"
Red smiled.
"Pikachu huh, now this is getting interesting. Haxorus use Earthquake!"
Haxorus smashed his foot into the ground causing massive quake.
"Pikachu use Agility into Iron tail!" Ash shouted.
"Pika!" Pikachu shouted as he sprinted forward and leapt up over each ground quake as it moved under him.
"Dragon claw!"
Haxorus's claws glowed violet before he hurled them forward at PIkachu.
"Pika!" Pikachu shouted as his tail met Haxorus's claws.
Despite all his power, Haxorus was pushed back by Pikachu's iron tail.
"Dig." Haxorus quickly burrowed his way underground before Pikachu could continue.
"Pikachu ready yourself, use agility!" Ash shouted as Pikachu sprinted across the battlefield, trying tnot to stay in one place too long.
However, Pikachu felt Haxorus moving underground incredibly fast.
"Dig!" Red shouted as Haxorus came up and smashed into Pikachu.
"Gotcha." Red said.
Pikachu landed on his feet and sparked his cheeks.
"Dragon pulse!" Red shouted.
"Grooo!" Haxorus roared as he opened his mouth and unleashed a massive pulse of dragon energy at Pikachu.
"Pikachu dodge and use Thunder!
"Pika!" Pikachu shouted as he quickly moved out of the way and unleashed a massive bolt of electricity at Haxorus.
"Dig."
Haxorus quickly burrowed underground and avoided the incoming lighting.
"Pikachu Iron tail on the ground!"
As Haxorus came under him, Pikachu slammed his metal tail into the ground and caused the ground to shift.
Haxorus came out and missed Pikachu.
"Earthquake!" Red shouted.
As Haxorus hit the ground, he unleashed a massive ground quake that was too close to Pikachu for him to avoid.
"Pika!" Pikachu shouted in pain as he was hit by the Earthquake.
"Finish him with Outrage."
Haxorus snarled as he gathered all his dragon energy.
"Pikachu use Thunder!" Ash shouted.
Pikachu got back up.
"Pika chu!" Pikachu shouted as he blasted Haxorus with a massive bolt of electricity.
"Groo!" Haxorus shouted in pain.
"Iron tail!"
"Chu!" Pikachu shouted as he sprinted forward and crashed his metal tail across Haxorus's face.
"Haxorus!" Red shouted as the massive dragon stumbled backwards before falling onto his back with swirly eyes.
"Haxorus is unable to battle." The ref said.
"Great work Pikachu." Ash said.
"Pika!"
"Keep it going Pikachu!" Serena shouted.
"Pikachu is as impressive as always. Maybe you'll remember your old friend from the Kalos league." Red said as he took out his next pokeball.
"I choose you Noivern!" Red shouted as Noivern came out and roared.
"Graww!" Noivern roared.
Ash and Pikachu both sweat dropped nervously when they saw Noivern. He had grown bigger since the last time they saw him.
"Let's get started. Noivern use Boomburst."
"Graww!" Noivern roared as he unleashed a massive sonic burst that crashed into the ground and created a series of massive explosions.
"Pikachu use Agility!"
Pikachu quickly used his agility to move across the battlefield, and narrowly avoided the incoming blasts.
"Pikachu Thunder!"
"Pika." Pikachu said as he charged his electricity.
"Hurricane."
"Grow!" Noivern roared as he unleashed a massive typhoon of wind down at Pikachu.
"Pika." Pikachu said as he struggled to maintain his stance.
"Pikachu dig in with your tail!" Ash shouted.
"Dragon pulse."
"Pikachu heads up!"
Pikachu raised his head to see Noivern fly directly over him and open his mouth.
"Graww!" He roared as he blasted Pikachu with Dragon pulse, hurling him back.
Ash grit his teeth as he felt Pikachu's fatigue.
"Keep up the Hurricane." Red said as Noivern continued to unleash the hurricane, pushing Pikachu back.
"Now we've got him good. Use Boom burst." Red said.
"Graww!" Noivern roared as he unleashed the explosive pulse through the wind.
Ash grit his teeth when Pikachu told him he wanted to go for broke.
"Alright, Pikachu use Volt tackle!" .
"Pika. Chuu!" Pikachu screamed as he covered himself in blue electricity and sprinted forward through the explosions.
Pikachu leapt out the other side and crashed into Noivern, filling him with electricity.
"Grawww!" Noivern roared in pain before one of his boom bursts exploded in front of him.
When the smoke cleared, Pikachu was stumbling over an unconscious Noivern.
Moments later Pikachu fell over beside him, both of them had swirly eyes.
"Pikachu and Noivern are unable to battle"
Ash walked out and picked up Pikachu in his arms as Red returned Noivern.
"Huh, this seems familiar." Red said.
"All too familiar." Ash said as they smiled at each other.
"I think I know who your last Pokemon is."
"I have a good idea who your's is."
They both reached for their last pokeballs and held them up before hurling them forward.
"I choose you Charizard!" They both shouted.
"Grauuu!" Both Charizards roared as they came out and stood in front of their respective trainers.
"Here we go." Ash said as he and Red touched their mega evolution stones.
Both Charizards transformed into their Mega forms before roaring again.
Upon hearing this Charla came out to watch the match.
"Charizard vs Charizard. There was no other way this battle could end right." Korrina said.
Charizard Y stared intensively at Charizard X.
6 years ago he lost to him in Kalos, now he had a chance to redeem himself. He wouldn't fail Ash this time. This time he would win.
"Let's do this, Charizard use Dragon claw!"
"Charizard use Dragon pulse!" Ash shouted.
Charizard X snarled as he covered his claws in violet energy and soared at Charizard Y incredibly fast. At the same time Charizard Y opened his mouth and unleashed a massive pulse of dragon energy right at Charizard X, who used his claws to absorb the dragon energy as it soared at him.
Ash and Charizard Y saw as Charizard X raised his claws back.
"Air slash! Ash shouted.
Charizard Y flew forward and slashed Charizard X across his chest before he could unleash Dragon claw.
"Gotcha." Ash said.
"Not yet." Red said as Charizard X made a sharp turn with his wings and faced Charizard Y's back.
"Dragon rush!" He shouted.
"Grauuu!" Charizard X roared as he covered himself in violet dragon energy and soared at Charizard Y.
"Charizard Y dodge it!" Charizard Y tried to move but, Charizard X gained a better angle and crashed into his back with Dragon rush.
As soon as he did, Charizard X forced Charizard Y forward.
"Grab him!" Ash shouted.
Just before Charizard X was out of his reach, Charizard Y snatched his legs and hurled himself back around, carrying Charizard X with him.
"Seismic toss!" Ash shouted.
"Grauu!"" Charizard Y roared as he did 3 air circles before flying straight at the ground.
Charizard X tried to free himself as he did 6 years ago, but Charizard Y learned from his mistake and kept a firm hold on Charizard X before hurling him into the ground.
"Flare Blitz!" Red shouted.
Not a moment after hitting the ground, Charizard X got back up and covered himself in blue fire.
While Charizard Y was still close, he flew straight up and crashed into his stomach, forcing him up.
"Dragon claw!"
"Grauuu!" Charizard X roared as he slashed across Charizard Y's face repeatedly.
"Dragon pulse!"
Charizard Y turned his face and roared as he blasted Charizard X with a massive pulse of Dragon energy. Charizard X managed to bring his claws up just in time to absorb the attack. However, he was still forced back by the sheer force of the attack.
"Seismic toss!" Ash shouted.
Without giving him any time, Charizard Y snatched Charizard X by his arms and did 3 more air circles before hurling him back into the ground.
Once again Charizard X got up and stared at Charizard Y.
"Dragon rush!".
"Grauu!" Charizard X roared as he covered himself in dragon energy and flew at Charizard Y.
"Dragon pulse with Air slash!"
Charizard Y snarled as he blasted Charizard X with dragon energy and flew at him.
The dragon pulse hit Charizard X , but the dragon energy around him kept him from taking a lot of damage.
The two Mega Charizard then clashed, both hitting the other with their attacks.
When they flew past each other they came right back and clashed again, and again , clashing a total of 5 times before both were hurled back and landed on the ground breathing deeply.
Ash and Red were both both concerned as their Charizards got up.
"Neither will give up." Serena said.
"This is more intense than last time." Korrina said.
"Folks we have two titans here, neither willing to back down."
Ash and Charizard Y exchanged a look with Red and Charizard X.
They both knew what was going to happen next. They were going to give everything they had in one final attack.
Both Charizard flew high up into the air.
As they did, both Charizards' blaze took effect as their tail flames exploded around them and covered them in fire.
"Charizard Dragon rush!" Red screamed as his eyes glowed blue and Charizard X's did the same.
"Grauuu!" Charizard X roared as loud as he could as he covered himself in dragon energy mixed with fire.
He then soared straight at Charizard Y.
Charizard Y's and Ash's eyes glowed blue as well.
"Blast burn!"
"Grauu!" Charizard Y roared as loud as he possibly could.
He opened his mouth and formed the explosive force in his mouth.
Just as Charizard X reached Charizard Y , he was able to unleash Blast burn when Charizard X made contact and there was a massive explosion that covered both Mega Charizards.
Ash and Red stared intensively with the rest of the audience as the smoke cleared. When it finally did they saw one Charizard on the ground and the other standing over him.
"Grauuu!" Charizard roared in victory.
Miles away near Cianwood city, a small boy was playing near a steam with a young Totodile.
The Totodile was hiding behind a large rock before the boy jumped out at him.
"Ha found you Chomper!" He said as the Totodile jumped in fright.
"Dile!"
"That's 3 to 1 Chomper, I win."
"Todo!" The Totodile said happily.
" Ok we should probably get back to the orphanage, Ms. Ike will be worried if we don't come back soon." He said.
As they were about to walk back, they a large figure stand over them.
The boy and his Totodile looked up at the large man and saw he was covered in metal.
"Hello there." He said in a metallic voice as 2 large Ampharos walked up behind him.
" Hey mister, why do you look like a robot?" He asked.
Moments later another man and 2 Dragonite came up behind him.
"We finally found him." He said in a hissing voice.
The boy and his Totodile turned to see a man that looked like he was part dragon.
He was now scared.
"I just wanna go back to my home."
"You don't have home little boy. But that's not why we're here." Earl said as he stepped forward and the boy backed up with his Totodile.
"Do you know who your daddy was?"
Duncan asked.
"No, I never met my daddy." The boy said as he saw Duncan walk towards him.
"You're daddy did something bad to our boss. Now we can't find him, but when he finds out we have you. Maybe he'll show himself." Duncan said as he licked his fangs and reached down at the boy.
"No leave me alone!" The boy said scared as he and the Totodile curled up together on the ground.
"Get away from him!" Another voice shouted.
The 2 rocket officers turned to see a pulse of aura knock them both away from the boy.
Felix and Paul sprinted over with Mega Lucario and Mega Salamence beside them.
Duncan got up and saw Felix get between him and the boy.
"Guardians this doesn't concern you!" Duncan hissed as he used his flamethrower and tried to claw Felix.
Felix used an aura barrier to block the fire then blocked the claws with his hidden blades. He then smashed Duncan's arms aside and pulled him forward before slicing one of his prosthetic wings off with his hidden blades.
"Gaaah!" Duncan shouted in pain.
At the same time Mega Lucario smashed one of the Dragonites with Bone rush, hurling him back.
As the other tried to help, a massive Garchomp with a large claw mark over one of his eyes crashed into him with Dragon rush and hurled him back.
"Grow!" The Garchomp roared.
At the same time, Mega Salamence blasted one of the Ampharos with Dragon pulse. A primal Aeordactyl unleashed several large rocks into the other one.
Paul blocked Electric Earl's strikes before catching his robotic arm with his own hand.
Despite all the power behind it, Paul held it in place before jabbing into its underside with his other hidden blade.
Earl tried to pull Paul's arm out with his other arm, but couldn't.
Paul's eyes and hands glowed blue as he forced his hands forward and to the side, tearing Earl's robotic arm in half.
"Nooo!" Earl screamed as he held his ripped in half arm.
He stumbled backwards with his pokemon into Duncan and his pokemon.
"Together." Felix said.
"Yes." Paul said as they both unleashed aura spheres together that crashed into the rocket officers and their pokemon, hurling them back and down the hill before they crashed into a lake at the bottom.
Felix and Paul turned to the boy. He had black hair and brown eyes. Felix's eyes widened when he saw him and felt his aura.
Garchomp and Aerodactyl also took great interest in him.
The boy was shaking as Felix knelt in front of him.
"It's alright we're not going to hurt you. My name is Felix, this is my friend Paul and Lucario. What's your name?"
"I'm, i'm Tyler. This is Chomper."
"Do you know who your mommy and daddy are?"
"No. We live in an orphanage."
"Well, I knew your father. He was my closest friend, in fact he was basically my brother."
"Where is my daddy? I've always wanted to see him." Tyler said.
Felix felt a single tear come down his face as he looked back at Tyler.
"Your daddy is gone. He won't be coming back, but before he left he asked me to find you and take care of you. You see your father was a guardian, he protected people and pokemon. He was special , like me, and like you."
"Special?" Tyler asked.
"You know what he's talking about Tyler. You're stronger, faster, and smarter than the other kids at the orphanage aren't you." Paul said.
"You can become friends with pokemon very easily." Felix said.
Tyler looked at the Totodile.
"What does it mean?"
"It means that you can be like your daddy. But only if you want to."
"I want to come with you, but can Chomper come too?"
Felix smiled.
"Of course he can."
Felix took Tyler's hand and walked him out of there with Paul, Lucario, Totodile, Garchomp, Aurodactyl, and Salamence.
