The taxi ride home for the pair was pretty intense. Mike Mizanin and Eve Torres were laid out in the back row of a deluxe 6 seated cab and their lips stayed intact with one another. Eve was on her back as Mike was hovering over top of her. Their kisses were deep and passionate, much more than what Eve was used to. The spikey haired man greedily kept her body close to his as he began to kiss down her neck, his kisses were soft but sloppy at the same time. You could hear the unsteady breathing they both shared when their lips separated.
Mike began to kiss down from her neck to her shoulder which eventually led to his lips going down to her chest. He placed soft kisses down her breast line that was exposed through the cleavage of her dress with a smile on his face. It was as if they'd completely forgotten that there was a driver involved and in a lot of ways they had.
Eve watched his every move and a smile of relief was placed on her lips. Although she was completely wasted she knew what she wanted, Eve had wanted this embrace. Even if waking up the next morning led to a lot of regrets and tension she knew that in this split second she was happy.
The brunette reached her hands out to stroke his cheeks. Eve took the moment to observe the man's features; the way his crooked smile made his eyes squint a little, the way his blue eyes glowed like a light in the dark, even the way his smirk made her heart melt. The woman pulled him in closer, their foreheads were against each other's for a short affectionate moment and then he crashed his lips against hers. It was as if all control was gone.
Once the cab driver stopped at the Campus the walk to the dorm room felt like forever without being able to embrace the other. They had walked through the isles with Eve's arms wrapped around his one and her head rested on his shoulder. When they had arrived back to their dorm room they scoped the place out to see if there was anyone surrounding them, there wasn't.
Mike took no time before picking the woman up and carrying her to his bed, when they were back into their former position the man had pulled off his black polo shirt and thrown it to the floor. He then began kissing down his partner's neck while simultaneously unzipping the back of her dress. Every inch that he pulled the dress down he kissed on her body, a smile pursed across his lips when he kissed across her waist line.
In between kisses he began to speak, although his lips were still glued to her body. "I like you so much Eve, you have no idea.
Still taken away by the tickle and urge that came from his kisses the brunette took a while to speak, "I think I have an idea."
The blonde man smiled against her body and pulled the final bits of her dress down, he kissed down her calves before speaking again "God you're so beautiful." He whispered as he ran his arms up her bronzed legs
Her smile became wider, as he rose closer to her the woman began kissing down his chest. She placed multiple kisses down his chest while unbuttoning his jeans. When they were pulled off Mike through them across the room and then their lips touched once more.
"Are you ready?" Mike asked as a way of reassurance.
"Yes, I'm ready."
Phillip Brooks was currently rooming with two familiar faces, Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler. It was a bit awkward at first to bring up the idea but when they heard his reasoning they were quick to let him in. The men didn't have a big room but they at least had a pull out couch for their guest to sleep on.
The tatted man groaned as he pulled the blanket over him. This was just frustrating. Why did he have to leave his own room when his best friend and dream girl were hooking up? Why did he have to be the bigger man who tried to forgive and forget? Why wasn't he the one that Eve chose for the night instead of a man whore who would just pump her and dump her? It just didn't add up.
Dolph Ziggler observed his friend from across the room and sighed, it was a very awkward situation because you didn't know what to say or how to say it. He wanted to say "Sorry you have to stay in a strange room for the night because your supposed best friend is fucking the love of your life but hey, there are perks" but that obviously would make things worse before it made things better.
Randy Orton was on the other side of the room sitting in his computer chair, his arms were crossed as he thought things over. As selfish as it may sound Randy was relieved that Punk was going through all this hardship tonight because it took his mind off of his own problems for once; Randy knew that was selfish but it was just the honest truth.
"So, are you thirsty or anything?" The blonde asked, he wore a soft hopeful smile but in all honesty it wasn't at all convincing.
"No, I'm not. Thanks."
"Why didn't you ask me if I was thirsty?" The tatted man asked from the other side of the room.
"Because you're not…."company."" Dolph snapped while looking his roommate's way.
"I'm so excited for tomorrow morning, I'm looking forward to kicking Mike's ass."
"Are you sure you want to do that first thing tomorrow morning? Don't you want breakfast or something first, we have bagels." Randy smirked at his joke, he obviously didn't know that this wasn't the time to be saying any jokes.
Both Dolph and Phil just glared his way completely unamused by his attempted humor. Randy just shrugged it off and continued on with his email.
It didn't take long between their awkward silences for a knock to approach their door, Dolph was the one to step up from his bed to go and see who it was and to his surprise it was AJ Lee.
"Um, Hi AJ. I didn't expect you to come around at 3 AM?" A wave of confusion ran over the man as he looked from his watch to her.
A flat smile came to the brunette's lips as she quietly spoke, "Can you come outside with me for a bit? I need to talk."
Dolph followed the woman outside leaving the two men to themselves. A few small talk was exchanged but nothing all that exciting. Punk and Orton never really hung out before so it wasn't the most ideal living situation but it worked for the night. All jokes aside Randy had offered his apologies to the situation from what he knew Phil was a good guy and didn't deserve it.
On the other side of the wall stood two "best friends" who went by the names April and Dolph. It scared him as he watched the upset in her eyes before she spoke. It was very clear that this was something serious.
"So, I need to speak and I just want you to listen. I don't want you to intervene and interrupt I just want you to hear me out and then you can speak."
All the bleach blonde thought to do was nod along to that as he awaited her speaking. You could tell by just his expression that his worry only continued to rise.
"Okay, I'm not going to beat around any sort of bush. You and I are both aware that I have feelings for you whether we both want to admit it or not and it's only going to lead me down a dead end street because you're never ever going to feel that way for me.-" The brunette took a moment to breathe, it was excruciatingly hard for her to say those words to him. "I think I just need space from you because clearly us being around each other drives me crazy, but then again not being around you drives me crazy… Do you see where it gets difficult? You and me, we're just friends and that's all we're ever going to be and I think I just need to cope with the thought of being without you because as of right now this constant time that we spend together is not helping whatsoever. All it's doing is driving me more and more insane yet at the same time making my feelings much deeper and it's not fair to me anymore, I'm sorry."
There was an awkward pause between the two of them. At this time Dolph was lost of words and had absolutely no clue on what to say. Life at Covington without AJ? It was not at all what he wanted but he could just see the passion in the petite woman's eyes, what he wanted to do right now was fight for her and he was also convinced that that's what she wanted him to do as well. But was that fair to her? She was right, her feelings for him would meet a dead end street. It wasn't fair for the man to be so greedy with her, it was time for Dolph not to focus on what he wanted or what she wanted but what was best for her long term.
"Yeah, you may be right…" It killed him to say it as much as it killed AJ to hear it. The tears that were forming in her brown eyes started to release, she used her hands to wipe it while sniffling in defeat. The twos eyes met for a long period of time, sadness was present in AJ's brown eyes while defeat was present in Dolph's blue eyes. Eventually April walked away to leave her ex-best friend to stand alone in the hallway.
"See you later, Lee." He muttered.
It was noon when Mike Mizanin's alarm clock had sounded off the following morning. Groans were released from both of the individuals lips as they woke up in a not-so-ideal way. The shine was brightly shining in through the windows which was blinding as their eyes opened.
"Sorry, I forgot to turn off my alert." Miz muttered as he leaned over to retrieve the phone and then turn it off.
Eve Torres placed her delicate hand over her forehead as she reevaluated the scenery. There was an annoying pitching scream coming from Mike's phone, her head was currently pounding as if rocks were getting thrown at her skull, and she was definitely naked underneath these blankets – and then it hit her.
It wasn't one of those times where you wake up wasted and forget everything. She remembered it all very clearly, as well did the man next to her. They remembered the first time their lips touched, they remembered the cab ride home where they couldn't take their hands off each other and they definitely remembered what happened when they got back home – every bit of it.
It didn't take long for an awkward atmosphere to run through the air between them. Mike glanced at the woman next to him, he was definitely speechless. The brunette glanced at him for a second but avoided any eye contact, she was starting to panic.
"Oh God." Eve buried her face in her hands in disbelief. The man next to her watched her unsure of what to do. All he wanted to do was wrap his arms around her and kiss her head in comfort so that they could lay their together for a while but he was very aware that that wouldn't help.
Eventually Mike placed his hand on the woman's covered up thigh but quickly she squirmed out of that. The Latina stood up and grabbed one of the blankets to keep her covered as she looked for any clothes to put on over her body. Eve grabbed onto a pair of green leopard spotted yoga pants and a Coca-Cola labeled red t-shirt quickly before glancing over to her friend.
"Do you mind? Don't look."
The blonde man was in disbelief at her question, Mike raised his eyebrow before responding to her idiotic request. "Eve, we just had sex. I've seen it all…"
"I told you not to look!" Her tone became sharper which led to a heavy groan on Miz's part. He closed his eyes allowing the woman to get dressed with some dignity.
When it was all wrapped up his blue eyes opened again and he continued "We need to talk about this, Eve."
"Please, not right now I need to go get some coffee and clear my head-"
Eve couldn't even finish what she had planned on saying before their door had flew wide open, in the door way stood none other than their third roomie, Phil. The brunette found herself drowning in even more shame when she came face to face with him. All eye contact was avoiding on her part while she made a quick exit for the door leaving the two to a discussion.
The room was discreet as the two guys stared at each other face to face. The atmosphere was uncomfortable to say the least and it varied from all angles. The stare that Phil held only emphasized his anger towards his "Best friend".
"Go ahead and say it." Mike sighed while grabbing the boxers that were next to his head and putting them on from underneath the blankets. He had been anticipated this lecture.
"Say what? That you're a dick. That you completely threw away all feelings that you knew I had for this girl because you're too damn horny to keep anything in your pants. That you proved me right that your whole goal was to just sleep with her and throw her aside. That you took advantage of this delusional drunk girl so that you could-"
"Wait, wait, wait…" Miz quickly shot up from his bed in annoyance. "You're making it sound like all this was, was just some drunk mistake but then again I can see how that'd be easier for you to believe."
"What are you talking about it?"
"It kills you to think that the reason she ended up in my bed was due to real feelings being involved. That's why you like to think of me as this bad guy womanizer… It's because you hate the idea of Eve actually having feelings for me."
"You're delusional to think her feelings are actually mutual."
"It's not delusion, I know it. I felt it. Eve Torres has feelings for me and that fucking kills you just admit it!"
Phillip sighed in disgust at the man's words. Their eyes never broke contact. There was a brief pause that took place due to the lack of conversation, it took time for Punk to wrap his mind around it all but spoke a response that eventually ended the conversation.
"You know it sucks. You robbed us of our friendship for this one girl who you have fallen so madly in love for but her feelings will never be returned to you. All last night was to her was the after effects of vulnerability mixed with alcohol yet for you it was this groundbreaking night…"
Mike's expression of anger dropped and turned into a broken appearance. The man watched his former friend storm out while carefully constructing his words, what was once a confident thought was now ruled to be a very anxious one. What if for Eve it was only a drunken night…
Meanwhile outside Eve Torres was making her way to the Starbucks to distress. So many emotions were flooding throughout the woman's mind she couldn't believe that she lost that much control last night and she also couldn't believe how much she liked it.
Barbie Blank rushed up to the woman causing her to let go of all her thoughts, which was probably a good thing.
The blonde noticed the clothing that Eve was wearing and how it looked like it was thrown together at the last minute. She also noticed her messy brunette hair that sat on her shoulders. It was pretty obvious on what had happened last night but Barbie wouldn't let her know that she knew.
"Look Eve, we need to talk."
So that crazy night (and somewhat of an extended morning) is now brought to an end.
What were your thoughts? It was tons and tons of drama, I know.
