A week had passed and Covington had a different tune to it.

John Cena was reportedly the big man on campus (even more than he already was) because he brought the Covington football team to the opportunity of winning one of the major college football championships. Pressure was currently on the jock by everyone around him; his parents, team mates, classmates, coaches, the list was endless.

The diva trio, Barbie Blank, Maryse Ouellette, and Maria Kanellis began to slowly fizzle away. Maria found herself spending a lot less time with Maryse ever since their incident at the club. Barbie found that if she wasn't with her new roomie Eve she was with Dolph leaving Maryse to herself.

Nikki Bella flew back to her home in New York a few days ago and she definitely left her prints on Covington's campus. Brianna was now a much different person than she was originally; instead of hanging out with AJ, Eve, Dolph, or Randy she found herself digging into books or writing papers in the isolation of her own dorm room.

Although April Jeanette had lost both of her best friends in the same week the woman found other company. AJ and Phil Brooks found themselves spending a lot more time together due to their common interests – the shared heartache didn't hurt either.

As for Eve Torres things couldn't get any better, what a change of events. Not only did Eve have a new boyfriend that she was completely smitten over but she also had a fabulous rooming situation. Living with Barbie Blank was paradise, that girl definitely had the lock down. It wasn't just any dorm room but it was in one of the apartment buildings on the east side of Covington's campus; the price was steeper but it was definitely worth it. They had their own rooms with a living area and a regular sized kitchen that held all their snacks and cooking equipment. Much better than the small room from hotel Mizanin.

Both girls were sat down on the couch looking through old photos on their formerly used Facebook accounts. It was so nice for the two friends to have this time to catch up; it was amazing how drastically both of their lives had changed in just one year's time.

Last year at this time Barbie Blank was dating Phillip Brooks and faking smiles so people couldn't constantly see the cracks in their relationship. She was the one girl that every other girl wanted to be and every guy wanted to date and now Barbie found herself chasing after, of all people, Dolph Ziggler? Definitely a turn of events.

Eve Torres was dating Cody Rhodes last year and didn't pay Mike a bit of attention. Cody and Miz were definitely known to not be big fans of one another for several reasons. Not to mention her best friend was Maria Kanellis – talk about weird.

"This was definitely the highlight of freshman year for me. There's no beach party that could ever top that one." Barbie smiled while pointing to one of the photos on her computer screen.

"Oh yeah, that was fun…was that the one where you got plastered and jumped in the water naked?"

"No, that was another one." The blonde began to laugh as she scrolled down the album more. The brunette joined in on the laughter while simultaneously crushing the empty red solo cup in her hand. A heavy yawn was released from Eve's glossed lips, which caused her friends head to turn.

"Damn girl, that was like your 4th yawn in the last 15 minutes. Is Mike that good where he just knocks you out after a quickie?" Barbie giggled softly at her words and the giggle only rose when she captured the look on Eve's face. "No seriously, how are you two?"

A smile came across the Latina's face when her relationship was brought up in the conversation. The feeling of satisfaction that came when it was mentioned was strange but exciting all at the same time. "We're good. It didn't take long at all for us to get used to the idea so as of right now it's basically perfect. The only negative is having to avoid the chance of running into Phil, that's still pretty awkward."

"Yeah, that probably is weird… Gosh, I'm so jealous. You guys are a cute couple but at the same time a hot one..."

Eve laughed softly at Barbie's explanation and just thanked her. It didn't take but only a few seconds later for a platinum blonde to join in on the mix. In came none other than Maryse herself wearing one of her usual looks, a heavy glare.

"Ugh, pourquoi?" Maryse snarled when she saw Eve Torres sitting there on her best friends couch. Although the woman was quite aware of the living situation it didn't mean that she liked it, in actuality she despised it and that was made very clear.

"English please." Eve said with an eye roll, God this girl got under her skin.

"It doesn't matter. Now Eve, which Instagram filter should I use of this photo of us? I feel as if Mayfair doesn't do my features justice but Valencia is a little too out there."

Before Eve could respond with her thoughts on the subject one more person chipped in. Mike Mizanin steadily knocked on their opened door to alert them of his presence. The Miz was currently wearing a pair of jeans with a nicely buttoned up blue and white striped shirt. His features curved into a smile when he walked into the room.

"I hope I'm not interrupting…"

The French Canadian watched the man as he walked in and her back stiffened, it was so weird seeing him now that he was actually taken. Mike was known for the game, he was known for the thrill and the one night stands for him to truly be nailed down was a little too hard for Maryse to believe.

"No, of course you're not." The brunette smiled before pulling the man in for a small kiss to greet him with.

"Oh, it's still just as weird and just as cute the fiftieth time I see it. Hey Mizanin."

"Hey Barb… do you mind if I pull this one away for an hour or two?" Mike smiled while concurrently kissing the top of Eve's head.

"Go ahead, I just had lunch and I don't really want to throw it up."

Those words made the man's head shoot up to face the speaker, a smirk pursed across his lips before responding. "Maryse, I didn't even notice you. Did you just get here?"

Maryse's whole face dropped at those words, all that she could respond with was an arm cross which caused her friend just to snicker even more. Her brown eyes stared the couple down as they walked out together before muttering the few words, I hate him.

"You hate him? That's inconvenient due to how obsessed you are with him."

"I'm not obsessed with him I just think it's inappropriate for them to be all over each other in front of other people."

"They're not all over each other and they've only been a "thing" for less than a week now. All couples are mushy and happy in the first couple weeks. Besides, who are you to judge? If I happen to remember correctly you and him made out on this very couch when I was trying to watch Gossip Girl. You're not exactly Sister Mary either."

"Whatever…" Maryse rolled her eyes before narrowing her eyes at her friend. "Did you tell Eve that Mike and I made out on this couch…? We even had sex on it too."

"Ew, I did not need to know that! And no I didn't tell her and won't, that's hers now, you lost, get over it."

"Some kind of a friend you are. You let the enemy in and you're just telling me to get over it?!"

The American girl's eyes narrowed slightly at her friend's idiotic words, "I let the enemy in? You say that like we're on some military base and I let an opposing soldier in."

"It's basically the same thing."

"It's definitely not."

It was a moment of silence between the two but it didn't take long for the silence to break. Like all small arguments between the two it ended in the ordering of pizza or Chinese food and some of their favorite movies. Barbara knew how hard it was for Maryse to admit her feelings for Mike and how deeply this truly bothered her. So Barbie did all a best friend can do by providing good comfort food, lots of talking, and several hugs to help her friend feel better.

It was definitely one of the colder weeks that 2014 had left. With just a couple weeks remaining until Christmas the scarfs and mittens were back into fashion. Starbucks was the hot spot on campus this season, even more than usual.

Randy Orton knew one thing that would help with the cold, a nice hot cup of hot chocolate. The waiting line began to speed up and there were only two people ahead of the tatted man now, what a relief. Mr. Orton was sporting a heavy grey north face jacket with a typical pair of blue jeans, a perfect choice for the weather.

A lot of thoughts were rapidly running through the man's mind on a continuous loop. The Bella name had left a scar on him and he couldn't quite figure out if that was a negative thing or not. On one hand there was Brianna Bella, a wonderful girl with a beautiful soul. By far she was the best girl on the entire Covington campus inside and out. Then there was her sister, Nicole Bella, definitely two different people. Whenever Nikki ran through his mind all he could think about was the word evil.

Suddenly Randy's right leg began to vibrate rapidly. He pulled out his phone and read the name on the caller idea, speak of the devil.

Nikki had been sending Randy a random text for each day after she left. The texts held single letters and in all actuality they made no sense to him. He didn't know if they had no reasoning besides to scare him but if that was the case it was working.

The text wrote, "L…. XOXO."

L? What was the reasoning behind her and these letters? You could see the confusion plastered all over Randy Orton's face as his eyes stayed glued on the iPhone screen. With all his focus set on this one text he didn't even come to the realization that he was next in line until John aggressively called his name.

His blue eyes shot up to look at the quarterback standing in front of him. It didn't take long for John to be intrigued by his friend's expression and began to question him. Normally this would upset other costumers in line to see their cashier take time to chat with other people but because John Cena was the cashier people just looked the other way.

"Is there porn on that phone? Why can't you take your eyes off of it?"

"It's Nicole. You know how I told you she's been sending me letters? Well she just sent me another one. The strange thing is she ended it with XOXO this time; does that mean she's done?

"I guess so, hand it over." The blonde man held out his hand for his friend to place his phone in his palm. When he did John began to skim through the texts, it didn't take long for him to come to conclusion now that the whole word was spread out.

"Let's see, D. A. N. I….. It says Daniel."

"Well who's Daniel?"

"I guess you have to ask Brie."

"I guess so…"

It was a rainy day today which was typically April's favorites but today wasn't going as planned. Her homework was through the roof; between three college papers, over four packets and one book report her head was about to explode. Not to mention Dolph Ziggler was constantly in her thoughts. Words couldn't explain how much she missed him, it was like she needed him to feel any type of happiness.

AJ was curled up in bed wrapped in a cozy cotton green lantern blanket. A cooled down hot chocolate sat on her side table untouched while books and papers were scattered all over her small twin bed without a lick of organization.

Her dark brunette hair was put up in a tall pony tail while a few strands were still placed in front of her eyes. The woman constantly found herself blowing the pieces away from her face. AJ's thoughts were racing, her stress level was through the roof at this point. All the thoughts that were flooding her mind all drained away when an abrupt knock approached her door.

"Come in!"

It wasn't all that unexpected on who came in that door. AJ was well aware that the man that was going to come in that door was none other than Phillip Brooks or Punk like she liked to call him. The two seemed to talk a lot more as of late, it was just easier.

"Mike's such a fucking asshole."

"Let me guess, Eve." The woman muttered. Although she enjoyed Punk's company the constant 'Eve and Mike' conversation that constantly came up was getting under her skin. Frankly at this point she didn't care about his feelings for this girl, she had her own relationship issues not to mention everything piled on top of that. April couldn't even hear Phil speak due to their overwhelming stacks of folders currently in front of her.

After minutes of his constant rambling AJ just couldn't take it anymore. The book that was placed in her hand got slammed on the bed before she spoke, "Damn it Punk. I get it, you have problems well so does everyone else. Want a quick solution? Eve will never want to be with you, she is with Mike, get over it already!"

Regret came immediately for the brunette. She didn't know it was because she had no room to criticize him for that or that his feelings were very important to her or even both. A sigh escaped the woman's chapped lips before apologizing.

"I'm sorry, I am. I'm just stressed… lots of book work, lots of problems with Dolph, lots of fees, lots of everything really…I'm so sorry, continue about Mike… I'm listening."

Phillip's expression became blank, how could he respond to that? It was very clear to him at this moment how selfish he was being. He watched the woman, she was in a broken state. It was time to stop being so stuck on his problems and to focus on someone who needed him. Awkwardly Phil cleared his throat.

"No, I'm sorry…Do you need any help with this coursework?"

"Um yes… that'd be lovely."

"Okay, I'll see what I can do."

A faint smile pursed on AJ's lips as Punk made his way over to her. It was one of the only smiles she's worn for a long time.
