Sand shot at Killerbee, Jesse, and Yugito. The three relaxed slightly after the sand shot past them. The deadly sand speed into the trees and the ground. It stilled for a moment then retracted. It brought back birds, rabbits, and other assortment of small animals and dropped them by Killerbee.

"You know how to skin don't you," Gaara asked. Killerbee nodded. He picked up the closet animal and started to skin it with a kunai. Jesse and Yugito left to collect firewood.

"So do you have any family that you left behind," Bee asked crouching as he skinned a rabbit.

"Mother is my only family," Gaara said shortly.

"You didn't get along with any of your family," Bee asked.

"My mother is my only family," Gaara said.

Bee sighed. He sat back on the heels of his feet. He didn't know what to think about this kid. Gaara was lonely, so very lonely. However, he didn't believe….well maybe didn't want to believe that the kid was all alone in the world. Killerbee had been alone. Though, he had never truly been alone. He always had his brother. Then Yugito was always following him around. He knew that the two of them were rejected from the village that they live in.

"Well, you don't have to worry about being alone anymore," Bee said. "Yugito, Jesse, and me, we're going to be your family now."

Gaara said nothing. He honestly didn't know what to say. Well except for one thing. "That human will never be anything to me."

Killerbee whistled loudly. After a minute, he whistled again. A whistle came from the somewhere nearby. "It's a way for us to keep track of each other. Could you find some fairly large rocks? It's to help make a fire."

Gaara nodded once before looking around. He didn't know what to think about the two. He had been on his own since his uncle had tried to kill him. His father had had nothing to do with him and his brother and sister hated him. Gaara was not exactly a person that is pleasant to be around. He knew that. He had made sure of that. And here this person was, he wasn't afraid of him.

"But they're like me," Gaara muttered to himself.

'They are being decided by that human,' Mother said. 'When you get the chance, kill him.'

"When will I know when that chance comes," Gaara asked.

'When you are alone with them in a situation that will not be questioned that he dies,' Mother purred darkly to her son.

Gaara grunted in understanding. "Yes, play nice then destroy."
