Gaara returned with sand floating around him carrying the rocks. "Are these good?"
"Yes," Jesse said. "Those are perfect."
Gaara said nothing nor acknowledge that he had heard Jesse in anyway.
"Put them in a small circle with them touching each other," Killerbee said.
Gaara raised his hand and the sand did his bidding. The sand gently sat every stone down on the ground in a perfect circle.
"That's good," Jesse said moving the small circles of rocks. "Once we get the fire lit, we'll place the meat on the rocks and it should cook them."
"Aw but that will take forever," Yugito whined.
"You have a better idea," Bee asked.
Yugito huffed and stalked a little ways from them.
"Finally some peace and quiet," Bee muttered. "We can actually think about what we are doing."
"Yeah but only if you stop talking," Jesse said playfully hitting Bee on the head.
As Bee laughed at his brother's antics, Gaara stood there watching them. His eyes narrowed. Gaara did not like the exchange one bit. He was not going to be deceived by this human like those two were. He was not going to leave those two to suffer the same fate that he had with the humans. He was going to play nice until the human could be killed. A creepy smile crept across Gaara's face; a smile that was not missed by his traveling companions.
Yugito stood away from the boys. She sighed. Being the only girl hanging around three guys was tough. It was even tougher when one of them seemed to be a homicidal manic that was only six and listened to his even more homicidal sand that he called Mother.
"Ok," Yugito said shaking her head. "Now I sound crazy."
'You think that is crazy to you,' Nibi said, 'Think how he must feel. He cannot even tell the difference from reality or fantasy. He has never once slept in his entire life and what's more if he tried his Demon would eat his mind.'
"I'm pretty sure it's done that already," Yugito said glancing back and shuddering as she saw the creepy smile that should never be on a six year old's face.
