"Charlie?" Lyra asked the next day, when they were both at the Burrow. Charlie hadn't felt quite able to return to Grimmauld Place and face Kreacher.

"Yeah?" Charlie replied, turning to Lyra and smiling instinctively when she smiled at him.

"What's the name of the man who did Professor Dumbledore's funeral?"

Charlie paused, thinking.

"What did he look like?"

"He was little, and old. He had tufty hair..?"

Charlie nodded absently. He stared out of the window at his old garden, and caressed Lyra's hair. After a few minutes, he heard Lyra laughing at him, and turned in surprise.

"What was his name?" Lyra asked again, rolling her eyes at him.

He flushed, but grinned at her.

"Maurice Prune? He's little and old. Why? Do you want him to bond us?" Charlie asked, before adding,

"There are other officials though? You have to ask the Ministry for their details."

"Mr Prune did Bills wedding as well, didn't he?"

Charlie nodded,

"Yeah, that was Mr Prune."

Lyra bit her lip anxiously.

"So he was on our side then? If he did Bill and Fleur's even under the wards?"

"Yeah, he was. That's why you were asking.. Yeah, Mr Prune's on our side, always has been. You should ask Sirius but it's very likely he bonded your mum and dad as well."

"Really?" Lyra's face shone, as it always did, at any information about her parents. Charlie smiled sadly,

"Yeah, but I might be wrong. Like I said, there are several officials but Mr Prune is probably one of the one who aligned themselves most strongly against Voldemort and the Death Eaters. If any of them got married they used Edgar Everley? but he's in Azkaban now."

"Edgar Everley?" Lyra asked, curiously. "I thought I knew all the Death Eaters."

"He wasn't a marked Death Eater" Charlie was quick to reassure her, "he was just on the corrupt side of the Ministry - worked well with Umbridge.. And Malfoy." He added meaningfully.

"Oh" said Lyra quietly.

"But it's just him and a couple of others, the rest are fine. But if you want to choose an official it's best to speak to Kingsley, he'll know which ones to avoid. And we want someone who's discreet as well. Otherwise our entire wedding will be in the Prophet before we've even left on our honeymoon."

Lyra blushed at the mention of the honeymoon.

"Where are we going?" She asked, but he just laughed.

"I'm still not going to tell you!"

Lyra groaned, but changed the subject. They discussed the wedding invitations, the bridesmaids, the best man, tidying up the garden of her parents house, the guest list.

They sat together in content silence as they could do, before Charlie spoke once more.

"I have to go back to Romania on Tuesday, so perhaps we should see Mr Prune or Kingsley tomorrow?"

Lyra nodded, her face dropping.

"You have to go back?"

"Yeah" Charlie replied, I've spent enough time away doing administration for the care of the dragons for the Ministry. So I need to go back again to keep my hand in, especially now I've finished all my other work." He sighed, "I'm sorry Ly, I'd stay if I could but this is my job, they need me back to oversee some new arrivals and I'll be there for a couple of weeks."

Lyra looked at him and smiled,

"I know you love your job, and I knew you had to go back soon but it only seems like you came back yesterday! And we're planning the wedding... Maybe I could give you Sirius' mirror?"

Charlie grinned at her.

"That's a good idea.. Just don't let mum know or she'll borrow it and I won't hear anything but wedding plans all day!"

Lyra laughed,

"I won't lend it to her, you'll just be hearing about the wedding from me!" She paused, but then thought of something, that in the chaos of the argument and life she has forgotten.

"Charlie? Why did your mum say you were going to be a Potter?" She looked at him as she asked, and waited patiently for him to speak.

"Because I thought it would be nice for you. There's loads of Weasleys. Tons of us. It's not like the name is going to die out. But you're the last Potter. It's something of your parents, and I didn't want you to give that up. I asked mum and dad first. They're fine with it, a little shocked though. But I thought it would be really nice for you to have other family that share your surname."

Lyra stared at him, her mouth slightly open in shock.

"You'd.. You'd do that for me?" Charlie merely smiled at her, and pulled her to him for a hug. Against his chest he heard her whisper.

"I'm so lucky you fell in love with me" she murmured.

"Oh Ly, I'm the lucky one" he whispered back. Lyra felt a tear escape as they embraced.
