Guest (1): How do I feel about the "lie detectors"? I would rank them, my favorite being the Analytical Psychology. That stuff is really interested me for quite sometime. In fact, theres a show that I used to watch that used a process somewhat similar to that Athena's to measure how evil someone is. It's really interesting.

My second favorite would be the perceiving. Just seeing these body motions, and reading body movements is interesting. This is actually the most real lie detector introduced in the series, and I was excited to see it make a return in the most recent game.

The magatama was interesting, the ability to see into peoples deepest secrets. As a writer, it was actually pretty difficult getting the same effect of it in a more written-out form, than in the game. It's hard to get the same effect. But why 3rd? Well, it's kinda bogus in real life. I've never really given it much thought, I honestly don't know. It's never attracted me too much.

New Question of the chapter is in the A/N. Enjoy this chapter!

"Please, make yourselves comfortable." Ozpin motioned, as he took a seat behind his desk. Apollo and Athena sat down slowly, hoping to get some sort of lead. "Now, why are you here, and not looking for clues?"

"Well... we kinda have no leads..." Apollo grinned nervously has he scratched the back of his head.

"Hmm... I see..." Ozpin took a sip of his coffee. Athena looked stunned for a moment, as she watched him drink his cup. Almost as if she was in a flashback. Then, it clicked in her mind: it reminded her of a few of Phoenix's cases. Say... he was a silvery hair as well. And a partially green suit! It can't be...

"...Mrs. Cykes?" Ozpin asked, in a curious tone. Athena shook her head, snapping back into reality.

"Huh? Oh! Sorry..." Athena blushed.

"It's okay. Now, about that lead... I believe you may find it with this individual." Ozpin looked in his drawer, and handed a picture to him. It looked like a man with blonde hair, a white, drawn back shirt, a tail, and jeans...

"Uhm... this is a joke right?" Apollo asked.

"Whatever do you mean...?" Ozpin asked, surprised for a moment

"This man... has a tail..." Apollo said, looking at the picture, a confused look across his face. Ozpin looked once more at the picture.

"Yes, so?" Ozpin asked. Apollo and Athena's jaw dropped through the floor, into the basement of the building.

"Bu-bu-bu" Athena tried to speak, but was too shocked to say anything.

"I guess you two aren't aware of a "Faunus" hmm?" The 2 lawyers shook their heads.

"I thought a faunas was a member of the White Fang?" Apollo asked.

"Well, you're partially right." Ozpin went into more detail, "Well, a faunas is a type of human-animal hybrid. Some have ears, some have tails. Some can even have both, or paws. But, their bad rep doesn't mean they're all apart of the White Fang. They were once peaceful people, but some faunas had different ideas. And, unfortunately, some of the faunas got together and made a revolt group, called the White Fang. Riots started occurring across the country. They started involving everyone, including the younger generation of faunas. When those grew up, they decided to use violence; a path that your client took. But, she strayed from that path, luckily, with a little bit of guidance."

"Wait... Our client... is a faunas...?" Apollo asked.

"Correct." Ozpin nodded.

"So, you're saying that our client used to commit crimes?" Athena asked.

"Yes, that is also true." Ozpin said, acknowledging it. Athena thought to herself, as Apollo began to ask questions.

"Now, this faunas, the one in the picture, was he involved as well."

"...I'll let you make that decision for yourself." Ozpin grinned slightly.

"Okay, who exactly started these riots?"

"Well, to know that, we need to know who started the original White Fang. And I believe someone is looking into that right now."

"...Phoenix...?" Apollo asked, but Ozpin didn't answer.

"Now, does a faunas originate form animals like cats, bunnies, and stuff?"

"Exactly."

"Okay, so do faunas inherit these abilities?" Apollo put his finger on his forehead, trying to get every last detail about what Ozpin was about to say.

"Well... It's complicated..." Ozpin quickly thought of a way to explain it, "Well, you see, everyone in this school get's accepted by 2 criteria: They have a semblance, and an aura level. See, those who don't have a semblance need an extraordinary high aura level to get in, and those with a low aura level need a rare semblance to get in.

Now, a semblance is a special talent, like speed, or strength. Some may even have polarity. Our students are trained in these special semblances, and are trained in how to improve, control, and execute. We call it ICE training for short."

"Before you continue, is there anyway to max out a semblance?" Apollo wondered.

"Well, not exactly. And that's when we get into our next topic: Aura. Aura is our internal fuel. Now, unlike semblance's, everyone has them. But those who use their aura more and more strengthen it, and can use it in many different ways. Say, an aura shield, or weapon, for example. Now, we do have a special aura training method, called BBB, for short."

"And... what does that stand for?" Apollo asked.

"The acronym is Books, Books, Books."

"So, it's like a school?"

"Yes. We use learning to excel their aura abilities, like how a foreign language can connect new synapses in the brain, allowing the brain to make new connections and grow. That's how we developed this technique."

"I see... Now, about the semblances, is there anyway to kind of transfer a semblance into some type of placeholder?"

"Yes. We have the ability to do that at this school, and only this school. Despite the fact that we do this in secret, there's one in this office."

"Do you mind if I see it?" Apollo asked.

"Sure!" Ozpin said happily, but didn't move his feet.

"... Umm... Where is it?"

"... My Bracelet?"

"Indeed; it's been infused with the power of sight. Anyone who has that around his wrist will gain the power, only while it's around his wrist/arm though."

"So that means... my grandfather..."

"Yes; he did indeed attend this school." Ozpin confirmed. Apollo slowly shifted back more and more into his chair, trying to wrap his mind around all that had happened.

Athena, who was quite this whole time, finally spoke up, "Well... where can we find this... guy?"

"His name is Sun. And where to find him? Well... I think your client should know."

"Thank you for the information. C'mon Apollo!" She grabbed Apollo by the collar, strangling him as he fell over in the chair he was in, and got dragged out the office. Once the door shut, Ozpin walked over to the chair, and picked it back up. He leaned on it, looking out the window, thinking of his relative, Diego...

Elsewhere...

Edgeworth shifted into his chair. He got his desk organized, preparing for someone to come soon. He started writing down notes from the case they were going to discuss, until he heard a knock coming from his door. "Come in." He called out to the person behind the door, thinking he knew who it was.

"My, what an office you have, Mr. Edgeworth." Miles Edgeworth looked up to see a man in a full suite, walking in wearing a formal hat. Edgeworth took a full look at him, trying to dis-regard the mask he was wearing. It had marks all over it, the mask. Almost as if this man had fought in 101 battles. "I hope you don't mind the interruption.

"No, not at all." Edgeworth distracted, as he moved his notes into a drawer. "Just getting organized.

"Aw, don't we all want to get organized?" The man walked in, and sat in front of his chessboard, moved on his desk just for the day. He faced the had the white side of the board, and made a move. "E4." He said to Edgeworth. Edgeworth moved in, and sat behind the black pieces. He moved his pawn to C5.

"Ah, the Sicilian, the favorite move of the American player, Bobby Fischer, I see." The man commented, as he played his next move. They played a couple of moves, before the man finally introduced himself. "My name is Adam. I work with the White Fang."

"Interesting, and what business do you seek?" Edgeworth asked, but wouldn't get his response until a few moves later.

"We want you to take a case. The Belladonna case, to be exact."

"That new case? Interesting... but, for that region, that would be Mr. Achilles, correct?"

"Yes, that is correct." The scratchy voice behind the mask replied, "But, we want a different source this time."

"We? Why are the White Fang so concerned about this case?" Miles asked.

"Well, this case... interests us. We have grown to realize that the woman that is Mrs. Belladonna, needs some time to think about an offer we gave her, and jail time would be the perfect opportunity for her."

"And if I decline this case...?"

"You won't want to do that, Mr. Edgeworth. We have our ways with people like you."

"I see..." Miles nodded, as they finally entered into the endgame.

"So, what is your decision?" Adam moved his queen into a spot that made Miles very vulnerable. He moved his queen next to his queen, sacrificing it to him. "Will you take the case?" Adam sat back into his chair, knowing that he won. Miles sat back, thinking it through one more time.

"Well, the way I see it," Edgeworth moved his pawn to the back row, instantly being taken by Adam's rook, "I have no reason to take the case." Edgeworth check'd the opposing King with his bishop, which was immediately taken by the queen. "So my final answer," Edgeworth moved one of his rooks to the back rank, checking the King again. Adam's rook to his rook, and Edgeworth took the rook back with his second rook, checkmating Adam. "...is no."

Adam looked at the cunning prosecutor, triyng to comprehend what just happened. "Now, If you will excuse me, I would not like to call security on such a 'respectable' guest as yourself. Please see yourself out, thank you." Edgeworth threatened. Adam nodded, feeling his rage build. He didn't let it boil, knowing this was just a smaller, busted plan. He got up, and walked out, bumping into another one of Edgeworth's guest thank evening.

"Hey, Miles." The guest walked in, carrying a vanilla cream folder in with him.

"Hello, Phoenix."

A/N: Chapter done. Wow, I wrote this in 1 study hall period, and it feels great. I hope I can do this more.

This chapter was really what I like to call, a "Mechanical" chapter, where I take new mechanics and put them in place. Here, I finally got semblances and aura into the story. Hopefully, next chapter, I'll wrap up the investigation, and then get to the trial!

Ok, question of the day is: Favorite Song, or Favorite Album. I know some people have a favorite song, but a different album/genre, so I'm curios to see if it happens here. IF you don't want to answer that, I just thought of another one: Favorite console of all time.

Ok, that's it from me. And, as always, Reviews, Questions, and Constructive Criticism always appreciated!

May God Be With You All This Week!
