There were so many bags of chips and buckets of dip in the South lounge that it was a shocker that the room wasn't overflowed by sour cream and onion. Barbie Blank definitely knew how to throw a party, she's had a ton of practice; but to her surprise she's never actually thrown a surprise party. Barbie has had a ton of surprise parties in her life time but never had she actually orchestrated one for somebody else.

With the way she styled the room never had a birthday party looked so trendy? She had three different styles of punch spread around the room, four different brands of beer (both canned and bottled) and just about every Pepsi product she could find. This woman had enough food to feed the army. She might have went a little overboard but the excitement overwhelmed her, she even had a little surprise for him from Victoria's secret that was still to come.

The blonde peaked up from the snack table to see a small brunette walk in with an even smaller gift bag in hand. A heavy breath came out of Barbie's glossed lips as she began to walk over to AJ. The two had a unique past so the fact that she had even invited her to the party was somewhat of a big deal.

"You came." The all American girl smiled faintly as she greeted the other student.

"I did… thanks for inviting me."

"No problem, but come on I had to you are like his best friend."

April faked a smile at that comment and nodded uncomfortably. "Yeah, that we are…"

There was a small awkward pause between them but Barbie quickly found a way to fix that. "So what'd you get him?"

"Oh, I got him a Vintage Browns jersey. It's his favorite team and these things are hard to find, so…"

Barbie glanced down at the bag and smiled softly. "That's so nice… I didn't know what to get him I just got axe."

"Oh well that's still nice, all guys need that…"

Barbie nodded her head and shrugged softly. She glanced down at the gift once more and opened her mouth up to speak her sentence was cut short when a certain birthday boy walked in.

Dolph walked into the room with all smiles, he glanced around the room in a state of shock. Or was it really shock? Ziggler had heard about the party Barbie had planned from one of his team mates a couple hours beforehand but he wanted to make the woman's day to act completely and utterly shocked.

The blonde woman had a big cheesy smile on her face as she walked over to give him a hug. "Are you shocked?"

"Completely, thank you." Dolph smiled as he laid a kiss on top of her head.

John Cena was sitting outside of the party with a beer in hand talking to a few of his friends. It was his first outing since being back into town. The gentlemen sitting outside with John were Mike Mizanin, Phillip Brooks, Cody Rhodes, and Dean Ambrose. They were talking about all that was happening in their life, what happened on the recent TV shows, women, basically anything to stray away from the topic of the upcoming game.

Dean and John however were the only ones really talking. Phil was focused on his recent incident with Dolph, Cody couldn't keep his mind off of John's injury and Mike couldn't stand being in Cody's presence. Mike and Phil did pop in a few comments here and there however while Cody stayed absolutely mute.

John and Dean were discussing some sort of dessert as another person joined the picture, a certain redhead going by the name Maria to be exact. A smile spread across her red lips as she came across John. She couldn't allow herself to see him in Boston she was still too fragile and scared and Maria knew if she showed John any sign of sadness he would get what happened out of her.

The petite woman wrapped her arms around him and vice versa. They exchanged a tender hug as a way of re-welcoming each other in their lives. Those two grew closer than two peas in a pod in such a short amount of time so the week apart was very strange. As the hug broke the two exchanged some simple small talk. They talked about what they were up to and agreed that the party was great and then the question that Maria was dreading to ask came out, "can we talk in private?"

John couldn't help but smile softly when she said that. He nodded his head and began to roll his way to somewhere more private.

"What's up Red? I was a little hurt you didn't come see me." There it was, his iconic grin that was always held on his face.

Maria couldn't help but let out a faint giggle before responding, the Latina nodded her head while letting out a faint sigh. "I know, I'm sorry. I just I couldn't go see you – I was scared. No one ever expects Superman to get hurt and you're just, you."

The grin on his face faded. John nodded his pretty little blond head as he rethought his vocabulary. "I can see how that can be scary…"

"It's selfish, I know. But you seem so great and full of life. All back to normal."

"You're the first person to call me normal. It's like you lose a couple of legs and you're not the same person."

The redhead saw the frustration written on his face. Although it was clear his mood was a bit sour she couldn't help but smile, still the same John. He was always such a strong leader through every circumstance. Maria grabbed a hold of his hands and put them on her cheek for a sense of warmth.

"Just remember John. You've always been ahead of everyone else. You know what matters and how to handle stuff, everyone else will get there soon they're all just unaware of how to react is all."

The man smiled and pulled her closer to his body. The relationship they had was so good and healthy, Maria was growing to be one of his greatest friends.

"Mind if I interrupt?"

They both looked up to see a Brunette staring down at them with a gentle smile on her face. Eve Torres gave them a soft wave with her right hand as her left hand held onto a cold beer bottle. She held this look on her face that was both warm but frightening – it was the kind of look you get when your mother tells you that your dog just died.

"Hey Torres. Care to take a seat?"

"I'm actually good but thanks for the offer." She let out a soft giggle before glancing at Maria "Mind if we talk for a second?"

"Um, of course not." Maria got up from the man's lap and followed her friend to wherever she was going. Eve wasn't one to break news, words could never seem to come together for her because she was always just too afraid. The two women walked down the stoned designed pathway in silence for a few minutes.

It was clear to the Latina that a bomb was about to drop. In a way she didn't want to rush what Eve was about to say because she knew she probably didn't want to hear it. Maria was right.

"Okay, so you remember when you came in to see me at the hospital and talked to me?"

"Yeah…"

"Well funny thing about some comas…when you're in them you can't see anything or feel anything but you can practically hear everything." By the fake forced giggle that Eve had let out afterwards Maria knew right away what she was referring to.

"No…" The woman gasped as she cupped her face with her hands. Instantly a flood of embarrassment flushed over her entire body. Both her hands and feet resembled the feeling of mush at this point.

"So I wasn't hearing things." Panic flew over Eve as she saw her friend's reaction. "Maria, who raped you?"

Tears began to flood from Maria's green eyes while she waved her lifeless hands around to keep Eve away from her. "No no no! That's not fair! I was venting, you weren't awake it wasn't meant for your ears. No, Eve that's not fair! Don't ask me that."

"Maria, Maria- it's okay. It's okay it's just me, you tell me everything."

"No I can't tell you this. I wasn't supposed to - you weren't supposed to hear." Her cry began to overpower her body and the words came out as screams. The secret she planned to keep to her grave was now known and because of herself none the less. All she wanted was to get as far away from Eve as possible and to hide by herself. All Eve could think to do was pull her into the tightest hug imaginable. As Eve tightened her grip around Maria, instantly all her walls fell down. Grasping for air through every cry began to be constant while she laid her hand on her friends shoulder. The man's goal was to break her – and breaking her is what he did.

AJ was sitting on one of the purple loveseats in the middle of the lounge with her eyes practically inside of her IPhone. Dolph walked over to her with a soft smile and present in hand. AJ glanced up and saw the man coming to greet her and couldn't help but smile faintly.

"I was opening presents and didn't see you around and then I saw this little number. I know how you love to recycle your bags and when I saw this bag with Spyro on it I knew whose gift this was." The woman giggled to herself at that, "And I knew I couldn't open the present without you around."

"Well what are you waiting for? Open it." April smiled as she glanced down at her bagged present.

Dolph began to unravel the bag and was very pleased when he saw what was inside. His expression wasn't just a smile but lots of shock. "How the hell did you get this? They never sell old Jerseys anymore especially not for the browns."

"Secrets." The brunette smiled when she saw the look on Dolph's face.

"Thank you so much, this is…this is great." The man pulled her close to him so he could wrap his arms around her in a hug. He couldn't believe that she got him this present, especially after all that the two have been through in the past month.

"Oh it's nothing." AJ smiled softly as the hug broke.

All Dolph could do was stare at the jersey in his hands and then back up at the girl in front of him. A small smile couldn't help but spread across his face. "I need to tell you something."

"Oh no."

"No, it's not bad I promise. It's about Phil."

April felt her muscles begin to grow tense. She glanced at her friend with a pair of raised eyebrows eagerly awaiting what he had to say. Then came the shock.

"He's good for you…"

"What..."

"No really, he is. You have more of a backbone now which is good. Also I never really thought about the two of you together and now that I have… well it makes sense. You guys just seem to fit like-"

"Let me stop you right there. We're not exclusive like that Dolph. We're just two friends who hook up and it just works."

Maybe it was their close bond, maybe not but nonetheless Dolph had this look that just read her. He knew very well that just friends wasn't the case.

"Well are you sure that's what you actually want?"

Before April could respond there was a third party added to the mix. Barbie came over with a smile spread widely across her gorgeous features.

"Sorry to interrupt guys but I may have another surprise for you."

The man smiled brightly with a soft hint of a chuckle. Ziggler looked the blonde up and down and saw no present, he raised an eyebrow and smirked playfully. "Where?"

Barbie grabbed a hold of his hand and pulled him from the spot. The woman basically dragged him by the arm to the desired location. This left the brunette to digest the conversation. The two walked into an empty room which stirred up a little confusion.

"Where's the surprise?"

Instead of answering with words Barbara answered with her lips. She wrapped her arms around his waist and kissed his lips softly. When their lips clashed together it was sweet and tender, it was clear that neither of them wanted to break the embrace. As their kiss finally came to a small end their eyes met.

The blonde smiled up at him as she giggled softly. Her smile reflected onto his features and their lips met again.

Apology is probably needed off of my part. This chapter, total writers block. I had it all planned out and I knew what I was going to do but the words just clashed together so bad and it took me longer than it needed to pull out the finishing touches. This story is coming to an end very soon. Only three chapters left. The story end date is set for October. Thanks for all the support.
