A relived Phoenix ran out of the courtroom, followed closely by Yang. "I thought the Judge couldn't reverse the decision like that." Yang said, still shaking.

"They normally can't, unless there is an important-enough piece of evidence that could overturn a trial." Phoenix explained to his assistant. Yang nodded in understanding, not knowing a lot about law.

"So, what do we do now?" She asked.

"Well... we have to go find more evidence."

"From where?"

"Well, we can either go check the forrest, or the library and get information on this guy."

"Well, we can split up, and-"

"No, we need to stick together." Phoenix overruled.

"Why? It would be so much easier if-"

"We need 2 people to go into that forrest. If one get's lost, then it's game over."

"...Crap." Yang was going to curse under her breath, until a certain someone came along.

"Let us help!" Phoenix and Yang turned to their side to see Ruby and Trucy together. "We can check the library, while you check the forrest!" Trucy suggested, full of enthusiasm

"...Okay. Let Ruby guide you."

"Yes sir!" Trucy said, as she followed after Ruby, towards beacon."

"Well, now that that's settled, let's get a move on!" Yang pulled on the defense attorney's arm, and, using her strength, pulled him along.

Apollo was fast asleep on the couch. The time was about 12:00 a.m, and the Pretty Little Liars marathon had just ended. Athena, eyes now red from not blinking her normal amount, were sore, and were requesting a very long blink was necessary. She decided to just sleep on the chair. As a kid, she learned to do this in her mother's lab. When her mom worked late at night, Athena would snuggle up with some blankets and sleep, until her mother was done.

Mother, she thought to herself. One of the points of arguments that the prosecutor had brought up about her. Sure, Athena knew what he did to Apollo, and what he was trying to do with her, but that didn't mean it still didn't pierce her heart. She still missed her. She still feels angry with that no-good detective, killing her like that.

Athena bit her upper lip, knowing that these thought's wouldn't let her go to sleep. She decided to listen to music while she slept, as that's usually what soothes her. She got her phone and headphones, and opened the Eden's Garden app, an app where you could type in whatever genre of music you wanted, and it played songs that were the genre. This came out after the Pandora app went down, due to lack of use from iTunes radio app.

Athena selected a slower genre, and slow, piano like music, put her earbuds in, and shut her eyes. On the song identification, it had Eminem- Headlights. She shrugged, never hearing the song before. But, before she could drift off to sleep, the first few lines played into her ears.

Mom, I know I let you down,

And though you say the days are happy,
Why is the power off, and why am I so f***d up?
And, Mom, I know he's not around
But don't you place the blame on me
As you pour yourself another drink, yeah.

Athena couldn't tell whether she started to cry or not, as her earbuds cancelled the noise from the outside world. She eventually drifted off to sleep.

Elsewhere...

Ruby had just explained to the librarian of the situation, so she had let Trucy come in with Ruby. They called themselves the "R&T Connection", though the name only stuck on with them.

They ran through the library, scrambling to find an open computer. Once they got to an open one, they instantly looked up the name through the computers database. Only 1 article came up. "The Anti Faunus Unity Treasury?" Trucy asked, her head turning a bit.

"I don't know, but it is the only thing on here." Ruby then proceeded to click on the link, taking her to the A-FUT, where it lists all the details. "Wait, they still exist?" Ruby questioned to herself.

"What do you mean?" Trucy asked.

"We learned about this in history one week," Ruby explained, "About 5 years ago, a treaty was signed to end all of the violence. But the faunas were split up at the time, into the White Fang, and everybody that wasn't White Fang. Everyone not in the White Fang signed, but the White Fang didn't. This gave all faunas a bad name among the people, as they were unable to talk the faunas out of not signing it."

"So I'm guessing this treasury is too fund an army against the White Fang?"

"That's what the point was," Ruby closed her eyes, remembering the details, "but the intent of it took a turn for the worst. The White Fang's reputation caused a lot of people to hate and be scared of the faunas, so the treasury was extended to the faunas that signed the treaty. This caused mini riots, and mini terrorist groups against the faunas. Eventually the government shut down the treasury, due to domestic violence. We haven't heard a lot from it since." Ruby glanced at Trucy, who had an unsure look on her face. "What's up?"

"Well, I'm confused..."

"Why?"

"If he was a part of A-FUT, he knocked out Blake. Why not kill her when she's knocked out?" Ruby tried to generate an eventually couldn't.

"I guess we need to dive into this more..." Ruby and Trucy stayed in the library, thinking of connections and clicking links.

Elsewhere...

Phoenix and Yang were now in the forrest. Well deep into it, in fact.

"I think we're lost..." Yang confessed.

"No, not yet..." Phoenix held on to the hope he still had.

30 Minutes Later...

"Yeah, we're lost." Phoenix gave in, sighing as he slumped down next to a tree.

"Phoenix, we have to keep going! We have to find-" Yang stopped mid sentence. Phoenix perked up, looking into the direction she looked. In front of them, was a massive tree and canopy. "This has got to be the one Blake was talking about!" Yang fist pumped as Phoenix got up, brushing his blue pants off from any dirt he has collected.

They walked over there, and, nothing was out of the ordinary. The circled the tree a couple of times, checking and inspecting each square in of it. Nothing.

"I thought we could find more clues he-" Phoenix was cut off, as something hit his head. "Hey!" Phoenix turned to Yang, who stood there innocently.

"What?" Yang asked.

"Don't throw things at me!"

"I didn't throw anything though!" Yang complained. "Not yet, at least..." Phoenix grunted, and went back to looking at the tree.

"Hey! Why'd you throw that!" Phoenix turned around, with Yang pointing at him.

"I didn't!"

"Sure you didn't. Then WHO did?" After that, something came sailing out of the air, and Phoenix had no time to react. It hit him square on the forehead, knocking him out cold.

When he was conscious again, he saw Yang facing a tree, one arm high and cocked. He could barely make out a grey suit, with many holes in it. "Yang, Stop!" Phoenix commanded. Yang faced him, arm still loaded, and let the suit slide down. He saw it get up, and start scurrying towards him. He was a smaller man, maybe 5'5", and had a torn up grey suit and pants on him. His face was dotted with green and grey, almost like a camouflage.

When he finally got over to Phoenix, he started asking questions. "Who are you?" The man gave no response, and only motioned to his neck. "I'll ask again, who are you?" The man only shook his head, and motioned to his neck again. "One more time, who are you?" The man now rolled his eyes, and opened up his mouth, but no sound came out. Phoenix was about to yell, until he noticed a key detail about the man. "Your tongue is missing?" The man smiled, and nodded a lot.

"What was that, Mr. Wright?" Yang came over, joining him.

"This man, he's a mute. He has no tongue."

"Oh... So he can't talk?" Yang asked. The man responded with vigorous head nods. Phoenix, now calmed down, looked over his surroundings. He just looked all over the tree, not around it. Nothing caught his eye, but a sack did. On the sack, it said "Vale Diner". Why would that be here? Phoenix asked himself, but dismissed it after looking at the man.

"So, is there anything you want to show us?" Phoenix asked the man. The man made a hand motion to follow him. He took them to the tree, where he removed a piece of bark. Inside, there was a bed, a lamp, and something on the wall. He pointed to it, and Phoenix had to squint through the darkness. On the wall, was a board, with red lines everywhere, and pictures knocked down. Phoenix had an idea of what it was, but decided not to tell Yang yet. "May I take a picture of it?" The man nodded, and Phoenix took a picture of it on his phone.

"Alright, Phoenix, Yang, and Mr. Anderson. We have come to investigate." Phoenix spun around, and saw the last face he wanted to see.

"Mr. Schnee..." Phoenix cursed under his breath. The he realized something. He knows the name of the man? That means...

"You can't think that he killed the 2 victims?"

"Oh yes, as you proved it." Despite the looseness of the claim, Phoenix can't rebuke it. Phoenix only walked out, fists clinched. Phoenix looked as the hauled Mr. Anderson away, nodding to him. He replied with a nod, as he disappeared into the forrest.

"What now, Mr. Wright?" Yang asked, joining his side.

"Let's get out of here, and see what Trucy and Ruby found." Phoenix got a nod from Yang, and they set off into the forrest.

Later...

Trucy and Ruby were waiting in the courtyard, as thats what they were told. Then, Phoenix and Yang strolled up. Phoenix and Yang explained what they found.

"Good, good." Ruby nodded, thinking about what was just said.

"Alright, Daddy, here's what we got," Trucy started, "We found about this organization A-FUT. Info about it is in the folder I'm about to give you. This guy, Mr. Anderson, who Edgeworth said was the guy that came across the search-"

"Mr. Edgeworth?" Phoenix looked perplexed.

"Long, story, I'll explain later. But anyway, he left the company, that date is in here too." Trucy handed him the file.

"Is this it?"

"Yeah. Sorry Daddy."

"It's okay honey. Let's get back to the hotel now." Phoenix suggested, as it started to get late. They said their good-byes, and Phoenix said if anything crossed their minds, text him. They agreed, and they parted ways.

Later...

Trucy was taking her shower, while Phoenix went over the file. Then, his phone started to vibrate. He looked at his notification, and Yang was there.

Yang-Hey Mr. Wright, can I ask you something?

Phoenix looked at it, perplexed for a minute. Sure, he had told them to text him if they find anything, but he wouldn't expect it form Yang.

Phoenix-Sure, whats up?

Yang-It's about the case...
Phoenix felt a bit nervous about this conversation, fearing where it's going.

Phoenix-Yeah?

Yang-What if Blake gets found guilty? What then?

Phoenix shook his head, fearing this.

Phoenix-What do you mean by, 'What Then'?

Yang-Well... our team would be incomplete...

Phoenix-Yang, why is this coming now? The next thing the blonde haired huntress said shocked him.

Yang-I'm nervous; I... I'm scared.

Phoenix-Why are you scared?

Yang-... I...To this, Phoenix pressed her.

Phoenix-Yang, you were there before. What did you feel like?

Yang-I was scared.

Phoenix-Ok, take that and think how Blake feels. How do you want to comfort your friend?

Yang-...I wan't to give her hope.

Phoenix-Then do that.

Yang-Yes Sir! See you tomorrow!

And with that, the texting stopped. Phoenix closed his eyes, thinking of the time he was a defendant. He never forgot that feeling of... hopelessness. But then, it was against Payne, it his attorney was Mia. But now, the prosecutor is much more deadly. Phoenix sighed, and opened his eyes, which were on fire. He WAS going to get Blake that not guilty tomorrow. Whatever. It. Takes.

To Be Continued...

A/N: Sorry for the Hiatus guys. This chapter is semi-short. Actually, This was written a last Thursday. The day I finished, was, unfortunately, the day my internet provider decided to filter my internet, not allowing me to go online and only watch TV. We have finally sorted everything out. I, luckily, had enough time to even story board the next chapter.

About that... This story will be coming to a close soon, maybe in about 5-10 chapters. It's been fun guys! But why stop? Today, I have, 100% confirmed a sequel to this. But, it won't come out right after this story. Expect it mid-summer to early-fall.

So what will I do in the meantime? Well, I am going to write 2 separate stories: An Ace Attorney story, and a RWBY story. But, I need your help. I would love suggestions if you could, on what to write on. I have a vague idea, but it hasn't moved me yet. So, if you have an idea, please review it. I would greatly appreciate it!

Ok, question of the day: What are your thoughts on episode 1 & 2 of RVB Season 12? If you don't like RVB, then what's your thoughts on the new RWBY intro? You can answer both.

That about does it! As always, please Review, Favorite, ask questions, and Constructive Criticism is always appreciated. Thanks!

May God be with you until next time!
