The end is coming soon, just a couple chapters. I'm going to end it happy, but I'm packing more into chapters because I'm just not feeling inspired.
The trip inside the sack was not fun, to sum it all up. In the long time I was in the stuffy sack, I was kicking, thrashing, and screaming bloody murder. Unfortunately, the gag made me lose all hope of anyone hearing us. When I was finally let out of it, I was hoarse and deprived of oxygen. As I was gasping for air, the giant robot men tied us up and took off our gags. I looked around, and saw I was in this really trashy casino- like room. Roulette wheels, chains, and skeletons lined the walls. I'm guessing they were going for the torture chamber?
Suddenly, a giant blobby mass burst through the doors. When I did a double take, I realized it was a sack. A giant sack with little arms and legs, a pointy head, and bugs crawling all over him. Bugman grinned evilly. "Enjoy the trip?"
"Yes, especially the part when I almost lost consciousness in a searing hot sack. Do you have some sort of weird obsession with them?" I remarked snidely.
"Have you forgotten I have the power to KILL you right now, little toad?!" He sneered. I just growled, but before I could fire back a witty remark, we got gagged again. He turned to Sally, who looked ready to explode. "Decided to come back and visit, huh?" He chucked "well, I've decided to invite Bone Daddy as well! He'll be joining us soon, once the Doctor takes the fight out of him. Though this time….. You won't get away so easily."
Both of our eyes widened. He was going to get Jack?! We tried fighting our restraints. All that did was get the robo-guys angry. They poked their handguns in our backs. "I see you've met my new creations? The Doc made them for me. Much better than the three brats upstairs, these don't bungle the job."
By this time, I wanted to bust this guy in his nonexistent nose. I was so angry; I didn't notice my locket getting warmer. If I had looked down, I would have seen the giant oval in the middle glowing a bright red. Something snapped behind me and my hands were unexpectedly free. The Robocop fired, but I sprang up quicker than lightning. I hurled my fist into Bug head's face, and knocked him off balance. I had to get help. Without thinking, I zipped out of the lair. I had no clue what gave me this newfound strength and speed, but I didn't question it. All I knew was, I had to find Jack.
…
By the time I reached Doc's place, it was half destroyed. What the HECK happened here?! I ran up the stairs, and found Jack and Doc in the lab. "JACKJACKJACKJACKJACK!" I screamed. The skeleton whirled around, eye sockets taking up almost half of his face. "Sally, Bugman, Sack, Casino, ROBOTS!"
"Calm down! What's this about robots?" Jack queried. He grabbed me by the shoulders, and crouched down to my height. "Sally, she's in trouble! She's in Bugman's lair, and they got her tied up! I escaped, and why are you with the Doctor? Did he stop being evil?"
"It's Oogie again!" He growled. I don't think I'd ever seen him so mad! "If he does so much as TOUCH her I swear I'll-"
"Wait, you don't understand! They're after YOU!"
"They'll find me soon enough and I won't let them forget it!"
"Great. We'll go and-"
"Wait a minute. We?"
"Yes! I'm not letting you get off the hook that easily." Instead of agreeing, Jack shook his head.
"I'm not letting you do this. You're mortal, you could be killed!"
"Maybe I won't! I got out of there alive, didn't I? I don't care what you say, I'm coming whether you like it or not."
Jack sighed. "Fine. If I get destroyed though, promise you'll get out of there?"
"Yes! Now let's go squash some bugs!" I hollered, grabbing a broom.
There you go! Have a good weekend!
