As Fred broke out laughing outside by the van, his outburst drew the attention of Scooby from inside the kitchen. He had been assisting Shaggy on their latest project, The aerodynamics of Jam verse Jelly, when his sensitive ears picked up the growing amusement from Fred as he reacted to each of his messages. Though Scooby had been distracted himself, using a paw and tail to respond to a few messages for the last while from Daphne, for Shaggy in his steed.

"Lookout! Rogue blueberry on Rye!"

But the shout came too late. With his attention divided already, Scooby only looked up in time to have the aerial toast land jam side down upon his muzzle. Seconds ticked by, as all motion from the Dane stopped in reaction. He paused, waiting for the moment for the bread to shift with gravity, and fall. But the bread would never hit the ground, as a experienced tongue managed to catch any morsel from being wasted.

"Like, good catch Scoob." Said Shaggy, as he trotted over to where Scooby was taking the time to get every last bit washed off of his face. Waste not, want not. Peering down at the Dane, he was curious at what had been distracting him enough that the bread had managed to get close enough to land on him. Rather than snatched straight out of midair, had Scooby been paying attention.

"What's like' up Scoob?"

"Oh hey Scoob, Hey Shag."

With his hands cleaned off, Fred had made his way across from where the van had been parked and leaned against the open window where Scooby was. Waving, he greeting the duo and peered in to see what they were working on.

"Like' heya Fred." Shaggy beamed back a smile, shooting his buddy a wave. "I was just asking Scooby what was..."

BIIING!

Cutting off Shaggy's sentence, the little cell phone in Scooby's paws went off. It drew all of their attention, peering at the little device as it announced that Shaggy had yet another message. Holding it up, Scooby pointed to it.

"R'aphne" Was all that Scooby needed to say, since both men understood exactly what that might entail.

"So she's been texting you guys as well?" Fred said, shaking his head. "I actually got one from her, and two from Velms."

He wiggled his phone, flipping it open and pondering what he should say in response. Fred leaned on the window sill as Shaggy took the phone from Scooby to look at what had been texted to him.

"Hm, looks like Daphne was asking what I was doing, and Scooby was responding to her." Shaggy said, surprised at the amount of messages that had happened while his buddy had access to it. And how bored Daphne must have been, to earn this amount of attention.

"R'our welcome." Scooby said, nodding his head. Earning him a head scratch for his efforts.

"Thanks Scoob."

"I heard there is a storm brewing up there. Velma was warning me that Daphne was sending out a bunch of texts, and then sent another message for me to ignore both messages, since she was being as bad as Daphne was."

Fred told the duo with a chuckle, able to picture the flustered and embarrassed looked she probably had, when she realized what she was doing.

"Hm? Oh yeah." Shaggy looked up, only hearing what Fred said after he finished reading the messages that Daphne had been sending, and what Scooby had been sending back. Nothing Shaggy had to worry about, just took a second to realize that although Scooby was sometimes hard to understand when he spoke, his texting was impeccable. And the Dane had been explaining their experiment to Daphne, and she had a few good points that he should think about.

"...Though what is this little 'The Great Daphne' Thing at the end of all her messages?" Shaggy pondered, asking Fred about it. Since he had gotten a message from her as well.

"Oh, it looks like Daphne put that on there. So when we send messages to each other, at the end of each one is that 'signature' to identify who sent it. I remember her explaining it to me once; when she was telling me about some forum she was on. So I figure it's about the same thing. Though I'm not sure why you need to know who a person is at the end of message, if you see who it is when you receive it." Fred explained, though he was unsure if he was right or not. But it sounds right to him.

"Oh, so like when she sends a message, she is 'The Great Daphne'... But I don't see one of those at the end of all the messages Scoob sent." Flipping open his phone, he looked again and didn't see anything at the end of his.

"Hm, I haven't sent anything yet. Maybe it's only on the receiving end?" Fred pondered, still working on his message back to Daphne.

"Hm..." Looking from Fred to his own phone, Shaggy stuck a tongue out one side of his mouth and typed away at the little device. While he wasn't as skilled at typing like Scooby was, he still was able to get the message done pretty quickly. With a flourish, Shaggy pushed a button and then looked up expectedly at Fred.

Bing!

Pushing his half-finished message out of the way, a new message popped up on his screen. It was from Shaggy, which wasn't hard to deduce from the look he was shooting Fred. Pressing the button, he opened it and looked at the content.

-What's like' my signature? *The 'Other' Dynamic Duo*-

Reading the description, he had to chuckle. Though he wasn't sure if Batman and Robin would have minded the reference. Flipping the phone around, he showed it to Shaggy and Scooby, who hive fived each other. Approving of the name that Daphne had chosen, but the celebration was not long lasting, as Shaggy quickly got a puzzled look.

"Well, what is your name?"

"Oh, I forgot."

Quickly typing on his own phone, Fred set up a message to send to Shaggy. Hitting the send button, it didn't take long for it to reach Shaggy's cell.
