-So what is mine then? Lord Ascot-

Giggling at the title, Shaggy quickly showed it to Fred who laughed at it as well. Fingering his favorite accessory, he had a feeling she might use it as part of his signature. Though thankfully it was better than some others that he had thought up of. And if he could think of them, no doubt Daphne could have thought of even more. So he could live with it, especially since he was 'lord' Ascot.

But he didn't get to long of a chance to dwell on it, as another sharp sound rang out from his cell, letting him know he got another message. Fumbling to open the device, he then read the little message that awaited him.

-Freeeeeeeeddieeeeee, what are you doing out there? ~The Great Daphne-

Apparently time was of the essence to Daphne, and she needed to know what he was up to. Ignoring the fact that she could have easily walked to her window and looked out to see the backyard from her windows in her room. But that was probably too much effort to use up, since she was no doubt still messaging Velma and the chimes coming from Scooby's paws were a clear indication that she was also replying to the Dane's conversation as well. Priorities...

Shaking his head, he pulled back up the message he had been working on earlier, adding to it so he would have enough to give her.

-I am working on the van. She had a small crack on the muffler, and I was trying to shore up some of the rough spots on the under carriage to prevent rust from forming in those scraps we got on the last mystery.-

Hitting send, he nodded contently. Hopefully it was enough of a message to entertain her between her other rapid fire texts.

"We need to do something about her..." Shaggy thumbed at the roof, meaning the woman texted beyond the ceiling. He moved to lean on the window frame, positioning himself to be looking into his kitchen with a sigh. He just lost his buddy to the storm of texts that Daphne was sending, so their experiment would have to be put off for now.

"Yeah, this can't end well." Fred laughed, leaning on the other side of the window frame to mirror Shaggy, looking out into the backyard.

"Is there a way to make a cease fire?" Shaggy pondered, his gaze slowly panning through his kitchen, searching for an idea that might quell the wrath of a bored Daphne.

"She does seem to..." BRING! "... Be enjoying herself." Fred lifted his little ringing cell phone to punctuate that fact.

"...So, we just need to find something more entreating then, right? Or at least something more tempting to bring her out of her hideout." Shaggy pondered, giving his goatee a scratch. It had to be interesting enough, or the woman wouldn't want to move away from her phone.

"Yeah, but it would have to be good." Fred agreed his mind thinking along the same long as Shaggy.

"Hmmmmm..." They murmured in unison, hanging their heads and trying to come up with a useful idea.

"Well, Her favorite Coffee might attract her." Fred offered, trying to think of things that Daphne liked enough to side track her.

"Yeah, but Like' I ran out of her special blend, and it's in the process of being ordered and shipped from her favorite coffee place." Shaggy reminded Fred, who had forgotten that fact.

"Darn, hm... Brrr" As Fred was speaking, a chilly breeze brushed past him, making the grass in the back rustle. He shivered, though it gave him an idea.

"Well... What about another hot..."

"I know where you are going with that Fred, and I have that in spades!" Shaggy said, turning back to face Fred through the window. He then shot Fred a big grin, and tossing double thumbs up at the thought.

"Well, if we are going that route... You also have the rest?" Fred said leaning on the frame, the wheels starting to turn in his head into a workable plan.

"Come now Fred, You think I don't have like' back stock of 'that' for a rainy day... cold day... or any day we use the fireplace?" Shaggy laughed, shaking his head and being amused that Fred even had to ask if he had some.

"Ha, true true. Sorry about that Shag." Fred chuckled. "I forgot who I was talking about. But, now do we want to use the living room? Or try setting something up outside?"

"Well, do we have something that could double as a fire pit?" Shaggy wondered aloud, trying to recall everything that was lost inside the garage over the years. There was a lot in there, so he wasn't sure if what they needed could be buried somewhere inside there.

"I don't recall, but honestly it could be hidden deep in there for all I know." Fred said shrugging. "We really need to spend some time to clean that up another day... But for now, it's time for a plan!"

Eager to tell Shaggy his plan, Fred jumped into the open window and pulled him and the dane into a huddle. The plan was simple, but they needed to get a few things first.

"Alright, I'm going to quickly finish up outside on the van... Scooby?"

"Rah?"

"Here, keep Daphne occupied with my phone as well. But try to make sure she doesn't know it's you as well."

"Racha!" Taking the offered cell, he flipped it open and typed back to the message Daphne had sent earlier. But before he sent his response, he made sure to get Fred's approving nod before continuing. The Dane was able to continue the conversation about the van, better then Fred had been expecting. Chalking it up to another of Scooby's skills, and leaving him to keep Daphne busy while they put the plan into action.

"Alright, with that taken care of, we need to get everything else. Can you handle getting your stock to the living room and start setting up Shag?"

Saluting, Shaggy beamed at the idea. "You can count on me."

"Alright... but there is something else we are going to need for this to work..." Pulling Shaggy in close, he then whispered the rest of his plan into his buddies' ear.

"That's like' perfect plan."

"Now the hard part… Getting past Daphne in her room, to implement it." Fred said with a hearty laugh, having to sneak past up stairs and into his own room, before his plan could come to fruition. Now that was going to be hard!
