A/N: Well this is the final chapter. I added a few names into the pack since I hadn't known how many or their names were in the end of the original series. I'm hoping that every bit of this chapter is just as satisfying for all of you as it is for me. Before I continue, thank you to The Thunder Kitsune for the last minute idea. Enjoy!
Chapter Thirty
It took longer to heal than I thought it would. Grandpa Carlisle explained that I've been through a lot for my body to take in, and it resulted for it to catch on slowly. In his words, it was best for me to finally take it slow and heal and rest as much as I should. So, when I wasn't spending time with my fiancé or my son, I was relaxing while reminiscing over the past couple years. Appreciating every moment of it as I am now where I believed I should be.
At first it was my curse. I've never thought I would ever find something as great as what my parents had because I believed that happily ever after's happened on rare occasions. Then along came Jacob. It made me laugh at my insecurities then, how I thought I used to believe that he would never love me the way I wanted him too. I was confused most of time believing that something was wrong with me because I was fond of a man twice my age. Then it would seem that the imprint would make me understand a lot of it, but it hadn't. Especially when everyone was mainly against it and I began to see some sort of flaws with it. I couldn't trust myself to believe that if I gave everything to Jacob, that he would stay. The age difference messed with my head and I wanted to believe that it would never work because of it.
Then came the blessing. Jacob had done everything to prove to me that there was something there; something hidden that I couldn't see. Hope. When I was about to lose it, he brought it back to me the moment he said he would love me no matter what, that he would love me and only me until the end of time, if he had to wait for me to catch up, he would. It seemed that he was the only one not forcing decisions on me, he only wanted to see me happy, and no other gave me that benefit other than my uncle Emmett and aunt Rose. That's when I began to let myself fall for the alpha.
Things changed from there for the better. My transition. Jacob's pack finally accepting me. Once I had accepted everything we were, and everything that was possible, everything I was changed into something more. I was becoming human again, and it was Jacob who gave me this opportunity. Rather than live on for centuries like how the rest of my family would, I was given another chance to live a life with the man that I loved, and the chance to die by his side if I had ever chosen too. I wouldn't have to watch our families come and go, and I wouldn't have to see Jacob suffer over it.
I wouldn't have to watch our son grow old with his mate and watch them pass on. The life cycle would continue on like it was supposed to. A part of me does feel guilty that my parents will have to suffer that fate, but I believe in time they'll understand that I was given life in two different ways, and to watch me live it would be worth it in some ways. At least they'd get to witness where their legacy continues.
Speaking of legacies, there's Jacob's and mine. For some reason, and I will never know but be forever grateful, the spirits decided to bless us with a family, a son that could continue on what Jacob –as an alpha- could only dream. Now Brody will grow old with his imprinter, and hopefully the same miracle happens for them in some way. Or they find some solution to still keep that connection. I can see now how much Seth cares for my son, and as uncomfortable I was with it in the beginning, I've now accepted that there would be no other to protect Brody than us. Whether they develop a relationship in the future or not, I've begun to prepare myself.
Now that preparations were on topic, I had almost forgot about my wedding. Details hadn't been really discussed about until aunt Alice approached me with her ideas she had brainstormed with Rachel, Kim and Aubrey. I was a bit overwhelmed with her unnecessary additions, and it took a lot of convincing for a small ceremony with jus the pack and our family along with the ones who had helped us along the way. Which meant an invitation to Nahuel and Jade and their pack. Even though Jacob and Sam were still skeptical about it, they agreed.
The Denali coven as well as the Egyptian coven would hopefully make their appearance as well. Grandpa Carlisle had kept his alliance with them as well as a few others and had promised to build a stronger relationship with them because we knew that eventually Aro would question why Jane and Alec were disposed of.
Unfortunately, I had come across a few problems with my new abilities as it was. Anger still settled upon me once grandpa Carlisle warned me of the possible future battles we might have with the Volturi, causing me to radiate my ability to my surroundings and catching my grandfather in my grasp. Thankfully I was able to calm myself before I had done some serious harm. It was then discussed that I would have to learn to control my emotions with the help of uncle Jasper before I could be near anyone really.
I pitied uncle Jasper though. He was always at the receiving end of my powers, and when my father would test my anger issues, uncle Jasper would have to be under my mother's protection shield. It took me almost a month to finally replace the trigger with my son. Truly those who were close to Brody would never harm him, but those who had attempted would face my wrath. It was practically a sure thing that I would never harm those around me, especially Jake and Brody themselves.
With the wedding closing in, Jake and I had decided that we needed to spend a little more time with each other. He had taken me out on more personal dates so that we had the opportunities to get to know each other on a proper note. It was the council's last request in order for us to put our faith in not only us, but also the imprint itself. We had to assure that we'd be there for each other through thick and thin, and honestly, it was the easiest thing I would ever have to prove.
Rather than stuffing ourselves in a restaurant where Jake would be sitting uncomfortably, we would order out and either go to our favorite place at the camping spot we visiting as much as possible, or the beach where we could overlook the view and enjoy each others company. It was something I appreciated more than anything.
"Are you nervous about the wedding?" He asked me as he wrapped his arm around my waist. We were sitting on the blanket at the beach with a picnic basket that Rachel prepared for us. Not only was she excited for us, but also this gave her the opportunity to spoil her nephew in the process. If she wasn't watching Brody, we had a big family that was willing too.
"No." I answered simply. "I'm actually looking forward to it."
"So there are no regrets?" He asked almost unsure. "There's nothing you need to get off your chest?"
I thought for a moment, "no, not anymore. I've come too far to step back."
"I was hoping you would say that." He chuckled before handing me a drink.
"What about you?" I asked, "do you still have those fears?"
"No." He muttered, "I find that life is too short to worry about our fears, as long as I have you my side to face them, I don't see a problem."
"So you do trust me now when I say that I will do anything to protect you and Brody just as much as you would do the same?" He looked at me with a smirk, and then nodded. "Good, because I don't need my husband believing that he has to be the only hero."
"But I like being your hero." He teased as he tickled my side and kissed my cheek, "you can be my damsel in distress."
I couldn't hold back the laughter as I struggled to break from his hold, "yeah right Jake," I smiled and kissed him back, "I'd rather go for the poor villager that saves the world and not just me."
"Than I can be that too." He added, still holding onto me as he kissed my neck.
I've never met a soul that could make me the way this man had made me feel. Just his touch was enough to make me feel like I was worth everything. His comfort was enough for me to believe that I could never do better than him. The way he held onto me, the way he kissed me, made me weak and vulnerable. For the first time, he made love to me on that beach. Though I hadn't a worry that someone might come along, I was grateful that no one had. It was just us under the moon light. His touch, his need for me made the night and unforgettable one.
"We're going to have to try that again." He chuckled before kissing me.
"I don't know about that wolf-boy." I smiled, watching him mirror my expression under the moonlight. The ocean silently danced around us as we stood in the cold waters waist-deep, Jake's arms wrapped around me securely as I realized we were dancing again. "Are we dancing again Mr. Black."
"Yeah," he smiled, "I guess it becomes natural to dance with the person you were meant to be with. It goes to show that we are in sync in every way."
"Just like our heart beats?" I asked.
"Exactly like that."
I knew I would remember this moment for the rest of my life. With Jake's warmth surrounding me, the moon shining upon us, the wind softly blowing, the ocean dancing calmly just as we were, and me wishing the night would never end.
The next couple days I found myself missing my fiancé and my son. But seeing how we were all occupied with the wedding plans as well as the fittings and last minute preparations, I was only able to see Jake when we were exhausted and in bed. Brody was at grandma Sue and grandpa Charlie's since he begged to stay one more night. That and 'Sethy' was with him often.
The morning of the wedding was chaotic. My first task of the day was to go to my aunt Rose's and uncle Emmett's for my final fitting before any adjustments needed to be made. I thought it was a bit crazy that we were on a tight schedule, but aunt Alice had a talent for making sure everything ran on time. Even though aunt Alice helped put my tux together, aunt Rose mainly designed the piece with me in mind.
"I still say I should've been your best man, Neph!" Uncle Emmett came barging in while he tied his tie. "I feel a little offended over it."
"You know I'd pick you in a second uncle Emmett, but you know that we decided on this because I knew that you wouldn't want to walk down the aisle next to Seth." I replied obviously.
"I'd be okay with it, the kid has always been okay with me." He shrugged, "and besides, having to put my masculinity at bay for my nephew for a day would have been okay with me."
"Okay, next time." I smiled.
"Next time?" aunt Rose looked at me skeptical just as aunt Alice had. "You can only get married once hon."
"I know that." I shrugged, "but who knows, Jake might want to renew our vows in the next twenty years or so."
"Well Rachel better do her part justice." Uncle Emmett teased.
"You look…" We all turned to see my mother standing at the door next to my father, "very handsome."
"Have to agree with your mother on that son." My father smiled walking in with his tux loosely fitted. "Jacob better realize just how lucky he is to marry my son."
"He does dad…" I sighed, hoping that this wasn't leading to an argument.
"I know," He chuckled, "come give me a hug now." He pulled me into his arms and kissed my forehead like always had, "your mother and I are going to pick up my grandson and we'll meet you there."
"Alright, we'll see you there."
~~~ Jacob ~~~
"Dude, you're already sweating." Seth said as he adjusted my tie. "Are you still nervous."
"No, never," I replied simply, "it's just so damn hot in here. Whose idea was it that we wear tuxes for the wedding."
"Well as much as we enjoy walking around almost butt naked," Paul teased, "I don't think your fiancé or my wife would appreciate we let our junk hand out on this special day."
"I'm fine with it." Ty shrugged, "besides, my girl is the only one other than you guys who gets to see me my glory."
It gave us all a moment to smirk at the young wolf. "Glory? I think Aubrey is the only fool when it comes to you." Embry added.
I couldn't help but smile in realization that my pack mates were here to not only support me on my wedding day, but the day I would be marrying Sebastian Cullen, soon to be Sebastian Black. I wouldn't have it any other way if Seth weren't my best man since he has been my best friend and the only person I really trusted. Asking Paul, Ty and Embry was easier than I had thought it would be. I've come closer to them over the past couple years more than anyone, and as much as I wanted Quil in the wedding party, he would be the only one that couldn't really leave Claire's side.
I was a bit surprised, but it only seemed plausible for Sebastian to pick my sister as his best girl –what he calls her- and Kim, Emily and Aubrey for his wedding party. I think it had to do more with his big heat too, and I knew that he knew the guys wouldn't appreciate it if they had to walk down the aisle with Emmett and the others. It would be awkward for all of us I think.
"Papa!" Brody said racing to me and jumped into my arms. "Too much girls upstairs."
"Yeah I bet." I smiled. "What are you up to?" I put him down to see he was already dressed. "You look very handsome by the way."
"Waiting for gampy!" He stated with a sigh. "He and nan are coming to get me."
"How do you know?" I looked at him puzzled. Just as well as the others.
"I saw dem." He kicked his legs back and forth in his chair just as he pointed his finger to his head. "Any time now."
"Jake?" Charlie came in the room with his tux on, "Bells and Edward phoned, they'll be here soon to pick Brody up and bring him to the ceremonies."
"Looks like we have a sight-seer in the pack." Embry stated with a smile.
"You think so?" I asked almost unsure if I had just witnessed what I had.
"It's the perfect time for his abilities to awaken." Edward spoke as he entered the house.
"Gampy, Gampy!" He reached for Edward as Bella walked in behind him, "I'm the ring carrier." He announced proudly.
"I believe you mean ring bearer Brody." He corrected, my son shrugged and reached for Bella. "We're heading to the location now, Alice has been making demands all morning."
"Alright, we'll meet you there soon." I replied still unsure how to withhold a conversation with my soon to be father-in-law.
"You look very handsome Jake," Bella smiled as she gave me a hug, "congratulations to the both of you, and I'm counting on you to take care of Sebastian."
"Always." I smiled as I hugged her back.
"Yes, a congrats is in order," Edward added with a smile as he extended his hand out, "I may have been hard on you for years Jacob, but I am thankful that you've been there for my family more than I had asked for. I owe you a great amount of gratitude and I can only wish you and Sebastian the best of what years to come." We shook hands as I come to realize that Edward had finally acknowledged me for who I am, "Welcome to the family."
"Thanks." What more could I say? I've never searched for approval from Edward because it never really mattered to me. A part of me believed that I would never get it because I knew that there would always be a part of me that the man loathed. Yet, I guess he has found some sort of sanctum to see that I would always be there for Sebastian. There really was no other way unless Sebastian seen it differently, and to this day, I am so grateful that Sebastian chose me, and he gave me the chance to prove to him that him and I were made for each other.
"Paul, Tyler, Embry, Seth," the man nodded in respect towards them, "see you at the wedding."
They nodded in response, as everything seemed to fall into place. Now that we were finally prepared and the girls made there way downstairs to meet us, it was time that we headed to the ceremonial grounds where the wedding would take place.
"Where's the rest of the pack?" I asked, as we were about to leave.
"They'll be there." Rachel came down the stairs in a beautiful gold-brown satin gown. "We pitched Alice a few surprises for the ceremonies."
"You look amazing sis." I praised, "I just wish Becka was able to be here with us."
"You don't go worrying about her little brother." She smiled as she adjusted my tie once again, "I'll be sending her pictures along with our new families. She's going to see what she's missing and hopefully she'll return."
"Sure, sure," I led her outside as we made our way into the vehicles.
What the rest of the day had in store for us, I wasn't sure, but I was looking forward to every bit of it. For once, I wasn't driving. I think my nerves were too out of it to even focusing on driving, so Paul took the wheel as we followed everyone up to the location. Thankfully it was sunny and the weather seemed to go in our favor.
Just as we arrived, it seemed that everyone who was invited was arriving in their wedding attire. Jasper and whom I believed to be Benjamin were ushering everyone to their parking locations as we made our way to the tent where we were ordered to wait while everything begun.
I waited anxiously in the tent with the other guys with nothing but Sebastian on my mind. Today I would be marrying my best friend, my imprint, my definition of life, and I still had cold feet. I worried that something might come up to ruin this day for us, I feared for a moment that Sebastian might change his mind, but that was all settled the moment Alice had called me to the stage in front of the crowd while the other's headed to the back to meet the others.
I was in awe at the sight. A stage was built in front with white satin material draped across the base and up to the stair rails in the center for Sebastian and the other's to walk up to. Above, flowers tied with their branches along the top where they hung like the satin drapes, their petals falling gracefully and little by little as everyone settled into their chairs.
The council and the rest of those I had known had been seated on my side, while Sebastian's family seated on his side along with the covens that had come to witness our bond. The chairs were white and black that aligned almost diagonally on each side. Above us all were flowers tied to strings that hung with clear Christmas lights that gave it the fairyland effect. On the side tables were hors d'oeuvres placed across the white linen with rose and daisy centerpieces. Everything seemed so surreal. Almost like a fantasy come to life.
Just as I was about to ask where Alice was, the native elder who was hosting the ceremonies and the one we chose to marry us had cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention. At that moment, everyone took his or her seats as the area went silent. At the edge of the stage, a girl begun playing her harp quietly as the elder began.
"It's great to see that everyone has arrived safely." He cleared his throat. "Before we begin, I must give a warning to those who might not know to not be alarmed. As part of the ceremony, Mr. Black's pack has decided to show their support in the only way they know how, and that is what you are about to witness."
I stared at the man puzzled. I hadn't a clue what he meant, and none of the pack had told me anything other than that they'd be here. But as I began to look around again, I couldn't see any of them, that was until I gazed down the aisle and watched as a pitch black wolf began approaching with pride, it was Sam as the other's had followed.
By then, everyone stood as they watched the wolf pack approach. First was Sam, and then followed by Jared, then Quil, then Brady, Collin, Peter, Jason, Alex, Wyatt, Casey, and Elias. Each wolf followed the other down the aisle and then split ways at the end as they continued on to circle the crowd as they watched in awe. I watched as Sam began to howl lowly while the others followed, each of them coming into sync as it started to sound like a song. I found myself getting emotional with realizations of what this meant, this was the song we'd call to our mates, the call of our bond that made it official.
When they finished, they remained in their spots as two younger men had come walking with a roll of fabric that had made a white path for those to walk down. The music began to play just as Seth and Rachel made an appearance from the archway in the back. Both smiling widely as the crowd murmured at the sight. It took a lot of effort not to break down in tears. Watching them as Paul and Kim followed had made this moment unforgettable. I bit my lip to hold back the gasps of admiration. Just as Tyler and Aubrey followed the pair, the music became a little louder as they approached the stage. By the time Embry and Emily walked down the aisle, I knew then that the moment of truth was getting closer, and that my fiancé would be walking towards me.
As I gave Embry and Emily a nod of approval, the music switched to something familiar, a song that represented the life that we had shared, and the life we had the option of sharing. Whether it had been for an eternity, or just a lifetime, a thousand years made everything sound right. The crowd stood as Brody made his way down the aisle with a small pillow attached to two rings, he walked proudly as he came to meet me and stand by my side.
It was then I heard the crowd murmur and gasp in awe, and at that moment, I had met the eyes of my fiancé as he walked with both of his parents in arms. He was beautiful from where he stood. His smile was what I had noticed the most. As the crowd stared at him and he glanced at them, my sight was only on him and how beautiful he looked at this moment. I could never forget this moment. His eyes as dark as the night, doe and beautiful as the first moment we had met sights, his skin almost as white as the tux he wore, his hair gelled back and reflecting the light above him, and then there was his smile again. All for me.
He walked in sync of Edward and Bella just as everyone watched with amusement. I hardly noticed that there were a few in tears of joy; grins that made me believe that I was in fact the luckiest man on earth. Never in my life had I ever thought that I would see this day, that I would ever get the chance to meet my soul mate, to have someone tell me every day that they loved me with their every being. And this was just the beginning.
It seemed like forever before Sebastian was in my arms, and a century before we were able to stand where we are. But here we were, and there was no one in this world that could wipe the smile off of my face.
"Before we begin, I must ask who gives this young gentleman to this man?" The elder spoke.
"We do." Bella and Edward replied in unison before taking there seats next to Carlisle and Esme.
"Usually I'd follow the traditional ceremony of binding these two as a normal couple, but these two are far from that," the man smiled before he continued, "so today I figured I would try something different." He paused for a moment, "when two people come together to join hands, they do it with dedication and love. I've seen the power of this couple's, and I have to say that not only was there a rarity to it, but also it had it's own uniqueness like any other pair that has come to join hands in matrimony. Them standing here is the true definition of what love is, not only had they overcome the obstacles that stood in their way, but together they fought to stand here before us. A bond like theirs comes only once in a lifetime, and they are here to share with us the words that make them whole. So before we continue on with the rest of the ceremony, we will witness the vows they have written for each other." He stopped and looked at me, "Jacob?"
"Right." I stood nervously as I looked at Sebastian, realizing I just needed to pour my heart out rather than reciting what I had written. "They say happily ever afters are only written in fairy tales, and I was one to believe it so. I've love and lost, and almost gave up. But I was given hope the moment I had met eyes with this man standing in front of me." I choked back the words and the thought before I could continue, with a shaky tone, "but somewhere there was hope. Somewhere and somehow I knew I had to believe that I would have this chance to prove to Sebastian that he is the only one for me. Little by little I knew I was opening his heart and breaking through, and at the same time, he was doing the same for me. I hadn't known until I had met you that I could ever love so hard, love so much, and lover forever. I promise that from this day forward that I will never let you forget just how much you mean to me, I will never let you forget that there is one man in this universe that thinks the world of you. I look forward to waking up every morning next to you, raising our son together as the family I had always wanted, and being the husband that you truly deserve."
Sebastian reached his hand to my cheek as I leaned into it while he wiped the tears I hadn't known had fallen. "Jake." He practically whispered. "Somewhere I heard that heroes aren't born heroes, but the title is earned by their actions and what they have accomplished. I wasn't asking for a hero, but somehow you came into my life and saved it. Several times actually. Then someone said that you were tied to me by an imprint, and for the longest time I believed that it was your only reason for loving me, but day by day you proved it to be so much more. Now I've come to believe that you chose me; out of all the people on this earth, you chose me. Am I lucky? Probably. But now I decided not to overlook a lot of the problems that were never there and I chose to embrace what life has given me, what you have given me, what our son has given me." He then brought my hand up to kiss it, "so I to stand here today to not only prove to every witness here, but to you that I will be the best husband I can be. I will not only be your rock, but I will be your hero when you need one. I love you Jacob Black. I will never stop loving you."
"Any of those who oppose this unity, speak now or forever hold your peace." The elder spoke as the crowd remained silence. "Very well, you may now seal your bond with a kiss, but before that, the rings?"
I turned to see Brody handing us the rings. Rather than recite what we had already said, we slipped the rings on each other's fingers and I finally had the chance to kiss my husband. The crowd cheered and shouted in joy.
From then on, the dinner had moved further down the mountain and to another location where tables were set up and caterers were already serving each table with a dish. In tradition, we were place on the table in front where everyone would come to the mic and give their speeches.
The first to approach was of course Charlie and Sue. I couldn't help but enjoy the stories they told about raising Sebastian and his embarrassing moments, but all in all, they wished us luck and the best of years to come. The next person was my sister. It was her turn then to entertain the audience with my mishaps, then telling us both how proud our dad would be of the both of us, and how proud she was to witness this. She then reminded me that no matter what, she believed that Billy was here in spirit and was definitely smiling from wherever he was.
The next to approach the mic was Sebastian's parents as they promised him that they would be there for us for the rest of our lives, and from then on too. I was sure if Bella could cry, she'd be balling here eyes out. But that didn't stop Sebastian's grandmother Renee from crying like a baby. She too was proud of the occasion and promised to visit more often. Then Carlisle and Esme with their best wishes. After that, the pack had come forward one by one, giving their encouraging words and their approval of Sebastian, as he was officially the new member of the pack.
Alice and Jasper approached the mic with their kind words and best wishes. We took the opportunity as well to thank them for making the day possible, and taking the time to make it so special. I was sure that Alice would have let a few tears fall if she could too as she hugged us both.
It was Emmett and Rose's speech that was the perfect finality of it all. I could see the closeness they had with my husband, and the appreciation they had given me for making Sebastian's life more than perfect. I was touched when Rose thanked me for giving Sebastian life, love and a child, something she could wish not only for herself, but anyone who deserved it, and she truly believed that we had earned every bit of it.
As the night settled in, so did everyone else. The dancing continued on until the moon rose in the middle of the night sky. Most had left, and those who stayed were there to tidy up the last of what was needed.
"Do you regret not going for our honeymoon?" I asked Sebastian as we continued to dance slowly on the dance floor.
"No." He replied simply as he cuddled himself into my chest, "I would be worried sick over Brody and I just don't think now is the time to wander off, but in time, I know we will have that chance."
"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing," I replied, "right now, Brody needs us more than anything, but when he's a bit older, I owe you a honeymoon that you will never forget."
"I'm holding you up for that," he giggled, "are you ready to go home yet?"
"Not yet," I smiled, "one more dance, I promise."
"Sure, sure." He giggled as we danced away the night.
~~~ SEBASTIAN ~~~
We were at our camping spot once again: alone.
The past couple weeks have been more than eventful; chaotic actually as we had finally settled everything into our new home. Brody spent most of his time with the other pack children whenever it was possible, and thanks to Rachel, she offered to give us a day off and let us spend this time together.
"Was it everything that you had hoped for?" I asked my husband as we lay next to the quite stream with the small waterfall.
"I wouldn't change it for anything he replied as he kissed my cheek."
"I was hoping you would say that." I giggled while standing.
Slowly I removed my clothes piece by piece as he watch me from where he lay, lust filled his eyes as he watched me stand in my naked form before his eyes, slowly making my way to the dripping waters that fell from the rocks above us. I turned to see him in a daze as the water began to trickle down my body, glistening down my pale skin and permeating steam. "Come, I want to show you something."
He didn't hesitate to follow suit, as he now stood next to me in all of his naked glory, his body at full attention. His right hand began to graze my skin as he moved in closer; the other placed on my hip as he leaned down to kiss my neck. "What is it that you wanted to show me?"
I then reached up and placed my hand over his chest and above his heart… closely focusing on his heartbeat. My energy now flowing through my body and then to my fingertips… sending tiny jolts to his skin… like a tingling feeling that now raced to his heart as it match the pace of it's beats. The love I had for this man now rushed through his body like a stream of water, sending pure sensation through his entire body causing him to fall in a shaky manner until he was on his knees before me, his hands still grasp on my lower back as his face pressed into my stomach.
At that moment I had freed us from it.
With his big beautiful eyes, he stared up at me with what looked like confusion and appreciation. I smiled and held onto him as I hugged him and kissed his scalp.
"H-h-how?" He muttered before looking up at me again. "What was that?"
"It's the ability I had gained, used for the better." I replied, "grandpa Carlisle explained to me that there was a way of using my gift for the good, and well… this is the only way I knew how."
He was dazed. He blinked twice and shook his head.
"Now you know," I said lightly, and shrugged. "No one has ever love anyone as much as I love you."
"Maybe," he said with a cocky smile, "I can think of just one exception."
"Sure, sure." I mocked him.
He started to kiss me again, but then stopped abruptly.
"Can you do it again?" He wondered.
I grimaced. "It's not as easy as it looks."
He waited, his expression eager.
"I can't keep it up if I'm even the slightest bit distracted," I warned him.
"Me? A distraction?" He teased.
I paused. Unsure if I should continue. Then I smiled.
He stood up once again as I placed my hand over his chest above his heart. I removed the barriers between us and released the small tingling fissures that scattered throughout his body. I attempted to start where I had left off – the sensation of my emotions flowing through hi rather than the pain I could cause.
I laughed taking a breath when his muffled chuckle interrupted my efforts.
"My bad," he growled, kissing hungrily down the edge of my jaw.
"Oh well," I sighed foolishly, "we have plenty of time to work on it." I reminded him.
"Forever, and ever, and ever." He murmured.
"Well at least this lifetime." I assured.
"That sounds about right," he agreed, "but maybe the next lifetime I won't take so long in finding you."
"I can hardly wait."
And then we continued blissfully into this small but perfect piece of our forever, because forever for us, is a lifetime worth spent.
A/N: I can't believe that I finished another one, but here we are. I have to say that saying goodbye to Sebastian is a bit saddening for me, developing his character wasn't easy, but it was a great journey for me to test my abilities in writing something (someone) with a bit more detail than I had planned. I just hope that his character had some sort of effect on you readers as he has on me.
In the beginning of this project, I've had so many supporters that I could count on hearing from, but unfortunately as the story was getting closer to finishing, I seemed to have lost a lot of my readers. If it was my fault, I don't have any regrets because I am very satisfied with how everything that had turned out. So, whether you have chosen to no longer review, or you may have left, I just hope one day that you can return to give a final review. And those who are new to this story, I hope that I heard from you as well.
As always, shout outs go to BurnedSpy, mulii611, lytebrytehybrid88, The Thunder Kitsune, , FreeSpirit15, and hopelessromantic5.
Much Love,
