Looking at myself in the mirror... I realized something... What the (BLEEP) am I wearing?

"I understand this is a costume catwalk thing, but seriously what am I supposed to be?" I asked while turning to face Edward.

"A masquerade." He replied casually.

"What's with the fairy wings?" I said while pointing towards the flimsy wings on my back.

"No reason."

After I removed the unnecessary accessory, I ripped one wing in half (because it's material was super weak) and left the other one normal.

Edward didn't seem phased at all. "You're acting like Macie."

I rolled my eyes as Macie entered the room, with a tiara on?

"Are we ready yet?" Her faced turned red from all the anger she held in and she clutched the skirt part of her pooffy dress.

Edward held back his laughter. "Princess Macie?" Then his laughter came pouring out.

Bowing her head Macie growled "I will kill you in your sleep."

Then Light came walking in, actually looking good in her costume! I'm pretty sure she's a leaf pixie thing. But it better than my masquerade dress!

"Ready?" She asked while adjusting her fake leaf belt.

"We've got five more minutes." Edward replied.

(Exactly five minutes later...)

"Weren't they pretty...er and handsome?Please go backstage Templar's!" Mr. Kenway gestured towards the matching Angel people. "Now for... The Assassin's?"

As butterflies fluttered in my stomach, I reluctantly walked out on stage with the others behind me.

When Light and I came walking out from behind the curtain, we received loud whistling and clapping guys, while the girls stare down their dates, and not doing anything. (Also I did noticed that Aveline, Savannah, and Mei were gone)

But when Macie was revealed... everyone stopped and stared except Anne who quietly giggled.

She smiled, used the stairs to get off the stage, went toward the punch bowl, up, and headed for the Coolies and Cuties table. Oh no.

Macie dumped the contents on to Anne and her expensive dress. "Why'd you do that?!"

"For stealing some of my friends this year, also for being a horrible backstabbing best friend, and because I wanted to!"

As she walked back up to us she received some applause and whistling.

She grabbed my wrist so I grabbed Light's wrist and she pulled me backstage while whispering."it may turn into Carrie!"

(A few minutes later)

After changing into our non costume outfit, we used the back door to get to the parking lot, and the cars were already ready to go.

Light and Macie went with the girls, so I with the boys.

When the radio commercials came on I asked. "I wonder how much trouble we will get in this summer?" *wink wink*
