Thank you guys a lot for the feedback! Merry Christmas... in October. Oh well. I hope you guys like it, 'cause big things are coming in like a couple chapters. Please review if you enjoyed it :)

"Why?!" Castiel screamed as he opened the door "It's fucking 7am!"

"You have to enjoy your Christmas Eve!" Eleanor replied entering her friend's house. It wasn't decorated.

"I have to enjoy my bed, how about that?"

"You have to decorate this house! Christmas without a Christmas tree is not Christmas! But first, breakfast"

"You do it. I'll go back to bed" Castiel started to walk back upstairs but Eleanor pulled him to the kitchen.

"I don't think so. I brought mince pie"

"Great"

"I don't like mincemeat, so it's chocolate filling"

"But… then it's not mince pie"

"Shut up, go make coffee"

"You can't be so grumpy, it's Christmas"

"Hey, you're Mr Grumpy"

"Would you fancy being Mrs Grumpy? There's vacancy"

"In your dreams"

Castiel started to make the coffee as Eleanor took the "mince" pies out of the bowl. Castiel looked over at her, not really sure why, but he did. He liked watching Eleanor. When the coffee was done, they ate and talked. Eleanor even tried to sing some Christmas carols, but every time she did, Castiel would stuff a mince pie in her mouth.

"Learn how to sing first" The boy would say, but, in all honesty, he liked her voice, even if it was kind of bad.

When they finished eating and Castiel fed Demon, the dark haired boy was forced to get all of his Christmas decorations. There were a lot. His mother loved Christmas decorations, even if she didn't bother to spend Christmas with her family.

"So" Eleanor started "First, the tree. Put it up"

"Me?!"

"Yeah, you're stronger than me"

"How does this have anything to do with strength?"

"Just do it already"

While he put the tree up, she looked through decorations, sometimes even putting Christmas balls on Castiel's ears. He would just take them off and throw them at Eleanor.

When Castiel finished, the tree was 6 ft. tall. Eleanor almost couldn't reach the top. Castiel's head was just over the top. The girl had chosen red, white and golden decorations for the tree. There were balls and angels and bells and snowmen and Santa's and various other random figures.

"Alright, I'll need your help to put on the fairy lights" Eleanor said

"Okay"

"Don't fuck this up!"

"Okay!"

Eleanor was doing a nice job. Castiel was just throwing them.

"Oh my god, give me this, I'll finish it" Eleanor scolded. Castiel smirked "Now the star. You do it. I can't reach it"

"I can lift you up. You are so excited to do this and I'm… not"

"Okay, lift me up"

Castiel didn't really mind about putting the star up. He just wanted to lift Eleanor. And he did. And it looked like she weighed 10 kilos, because she was so light and Castiel had no trouble lifting her up.

When the tree was done and there were other random decorations around the house, it was already half past noon. Eleanor wanted to go out to eat and then maybe go ice-skating. After that they would just walk around the park. It would be a big day.

He moon was waning and the stars were vivid and the trees didn't have any leaves to block their view of the dazzling night sky. The air was cold, but being there next to Eleanor kept Castiel warm. There were red and yellow lights in the park, which was nicely decorated for the occasion.

They had walked all day long. Their lunch was a shared Subway sandwich and their afternoon snack was chocolate. Ice-skating was challenging, especially because they were both disasters at it, though the falls were amazingly funny.

The lights shone on Eleanor's hair and face, making it even more beautiful. At some point, it started snowing, but Eleanor just took some pills and she was alright. The snowflakes were falling on her nose and shoulders; there were white spots all over her hair and clothes and Castiel found himself just staring. The Christmas carols playing in the park's speakers were nice background music, because, right now, Eleanor looked like an actress in a Christmas film.

She looked up at him, with those half Asian blue eyes, her cute freckles lighting up in the red lights, and smiled. Castiel smiled back and they stayed like that for a while.

"Your hair goes red with these lights" She muttered

"So do yours"

"My hair is already red, dumbass"

"Whatever" He said and she giggled.

"We need to take a picture"

"Why?"

"It's a nice scenery, and I don't have pictures with you!"

"Okay, get your phone then"

"No way. I have a Polaroid, we're using that"

"Whatever floats your boat"

The girl took two photos of them just smiling. She was looking at the camera in the photos. Castiel was looking at her.

"Do you want my autograph in your photo?" Castiel asked jokingly.

"Of course"

"It's gonna worth millions someday"

"How? You guys don't play to anyone"

"I'll make sure you'll be the first one to listen to us"

"You are too kind"

The teenagers sat at a snow covered bench to watch the stars. One of the upsides of living in small towns was this – the stars looked beautiful.

"Castiel, can I ask something?"

"Spit it out"

"I know you don't want to, but I can't just watch you spending Christmas night alone and do nothing about it"

"It's no big deal. Happens every year"

"Well, it shouldn't. Please, have dinner with my family. They'll love you, I'm sure of it"

"I don't think so"

"C'mon, it'll start in a couple hours and it'll be fun. I even bought you a gift"

"Really? Great, 'cause so did I"

"See, we could exchange them by midnight" She looked at Castiel apologetically "Please"

"Fine" Castiel sighed.

"Awesome! C'mon, get up! You go get ready and I'll go get ready and I'll see you in at my house by 19?"

"Sure, see you"

"You'll like it, you'll see. My family is really nice"

"I hope they don't try to get us to get married"

"They probably will, but don't worry"

"Oh God, what have I gotten myself into?"
