Hey, there! I hope this was worth the two months wait - I forgot what direction I wanted this story to follow, so I made up another plot (including Kermen) in the hope it was what I first thought up. Other than that, I've been to London with school and recently have been obsessing about "Wicked". [I've been thinking about a songfic since I've seen it.] Anyway, Lanny's first meeting with the twin Kings - from his perspective. Please be patient with me if you want a next update, and I hope you guys like this update.

SGJBMCfan98: Yep, you're right! The evil little hobbit has a proper family... if one could call it 'proper'...

Obviously, all I own is anything you don't recognize and the plot. Enjoy!

He was, like usual, walking through the King's room, that once was his uncle's, and now was his cousins'. He had just seen them arrive in the hot air balloon landing on the dark side. Stay there, he thought, stay there and die. He'd really want to know his cousins and be friends with them, but he couldn't – he would be seen dumb and loyal, such qualities he didn't have. So, to gain people's respect and most certainly Teagan, he'd have to kill them. If they are, he could easily be the mightiest person on the entire island; he could send Teagan to the dungeon for bullying him, after Mason was supposed to explain it to his grandpa, off course.

Yet, he had also seen the two enter the palace, meaning they had survived the Dark Side. He shook his head, and after a while he started to speak out his frustration. "This is so unfair! This should be my room! I was supposed to be King! Now I have nothing…" to finally be more powerful than Teagan, he added in thoughts. Apparently, someone took it seriously.

"What am I, then? Tramped fish liver?" Lanny shook his head. No, Yama wasn't cut out to be helping the prince with his plans, but a fish didn't seem very powerful.

"A talking fish, whop di doo!" he exclaimed, and continued walking around in what was supposed to be his room if his stupid cousins weren't born! Oh, when he'd get his hands on the two, he'd kill them! He somehow completely forgot about his fish when in thought about how his cousins would take the throne, taking away one of his only chances to show Teagan he's got more power than him!

"An evil talking fish," Yamakoshi emphasized, "that will make you king. At least, if you keep coming with those fish-flakes!" Lanny shook his head, and his hand found the fish-flakes Yama wanted. He did a bit of those flakes in his mini-sized bowl, and watched the fish eat it. Sometimes, Lanny would imagine he was Yama and those flakes were Teagan and his companions.

That was when he heard someone coming up to this room. "Sh, I think they're coming!" he told his fish. He knew those morons wouldn't understand one word of Yamakoshi, but he told his fish to stay quiet anyway – if Yama made a comment and the prince responded (that is, if he forgot about the twin) they would think he's crazy and might avoid him. Which wouldn't be too good for his plans.

"… and this is your room," he heard Mikayla say to the twins, "the highest and safest place in the castle!" And Lanny stood at the telescope, he saw the two new Kings enter the room. One of them had a black skin, the other one a white skin, and both had black hair and probably a brain with the size of a peanut. With that first impression, Lanny thought he might be smarter than the two kings combined.

The white skinned one went to stand at the pool table, next to Mikayla, with a look in his eyes that showed he might like Mikayla. Lanny somehow could keep his cool – how dare that boy hit on the guard girl! Not that Lanny liked Mikayla, but she was his sort of personal guard that could defend him when Teagan and company were trying to bully him again. If Mikayla started a relationship with that butthead, he wouldn't be safe anymore – none of the other guards would like to protect him personally.

"It's beautiful," the king commented, looking around in the room, "just like… this pool table! What is it made of?" Lanny wouldn't be surprised if the boy meant Mikayla, but she was the hardest to get on the entire island. Lanny focused his attention to the other king, who wasn't as impressed by Mikayla's looks as his brother. Then, the boy noticed his cousin. Lanny expected him to ask who he was, but the boy assumed stuff – stuff that wasn't true.

"Check it out, Brady," the dark-skinned king exclaimed, "we have a hobbit!" Lanny froze; how did they know that? Why did they use that world against him? They haven't spoken with Teagan, have they? "Greetings, take us to your Shire." Then, when 'Brady' stood next to his brother, Lanny felt like he needed to say something, yet he didn't know what exactly. So he blurted out the first thing that came into his mind.

"I'm not a hobbit!" He yelled at them, not wanting to be referred to as a hobbit, "I'm your cousin," he added, a bit sadder than the previous one. If the cousins weren't alive, he'd be King, he'd be in charge. He'd be Teagan's boss, and finally show him that the young prince had always been superior! Then, Mikayla cut in.

"Lanny was next in line to be king, but since you are here, he's just Lanny, King of Nothing." Lanny glared at her. Yeah, rub it in my face while you're here! This was just mean. Yes, she didn't know why Lanny didn't like Teagan, but she shouldn't say those words to an emotional young boy like Lanny. The Prince did not listen well to the words of his family, but it seemed Brady was enthusiast about his new life. Maybe, he could convince the boys to lend him the throne for a couple of days, and then returning it to them when he was done with Teagan. Just when he was done with Teagan, and then Brady and What's-His-Name could have it and Lanny'd be a happy man. But Brady's words destroyed everything.

"…thinking in yourself, maybe somewhere out there… I have a pool table!" Lanny glared at his cousins. He could have gotten along with them, but these words destroyed that small chance of a healthy relationship of family. Lanny shook his head, and waited for them to leave this room. They were lucky his anger hadn't gotten out before they left the room. When they were out, Lanny grabbed the vase and smashed it to the ground. A few seconds after he'd done that, the vase returned to where it stood.

"Those bumbling bipeds must not live!" Yamakoshi said, and Lanny nodded. They must not live. If they're dead, he'd be a King. Awesome plan, Yama! And Lanny already had a classic idea which might work.

"Don't worry, it'll be like shooting fish in a barrel." Wrong choice of words. Yama got scared (and maybe mad) at these words, and Lanny apologized, by saying it'll be like shooting a frog in a barrel instead. Then, he'd gotten Yama back to their room, and Lanny hurried downstairs, to the kitchen, where he ordered a plate of cupcakes being placed in the throne room as a welcoming gift for the kings. It might as well be the last gift they'd ever get, but it'd be cupcakes. When everything was in place, Lanny made sure everything was in place.

"Cupcakes here," they stood on the small table, "chandelier there," the chandelier hung above their heads, as usual, "kings splatter everywhere." He grinned with a hint of evil. Eh, that rhymed. He hid in the shadows of a corridor when the two Kings and Mikayla came down. He shook his head as the brothers discussed something. Probably about something stupid, like girls and pool tables and other stupid things they would consider 'royal problems'.

"I'm doing this island a favor," he told himself, and he cut the ropes when the Kings stood under the chandelier. He was very sure this plan would work, which is why he looked surprised when he had cut the ropes, and the kings left that throne room before the chandelier fell down. In fact, it looked like Lanny didn't even attempt to kill the Kings. Good news: there was no sign of sabotage. Bad news: the kings were still alive! He walked up to where the chandelier hang, and looked up to it with an angry glint in his eyes, and shouted "Why!?". Why did it not fall down? Why did it not kill or hurt the Kings? Why was he still not the King of Kinkow, instead of being the prince? Then, at that point, the chandelier fell.

Lanny shook his head. "I just had to get fancy." This was his first plan, he realized, dooming to fail. He need to plan, to map the good killing locations on the island, to strategically plan and sort out all situations that might occur, the good and bad ones. But, for now, he'd take a rest and hope that 1) the kings would get a sudden heart-attack, and 2) Teagan wouldn't come over any time soon to rub it in the face.
