Eleanor's party was awesome. She was almost crying of happiness, she couldn't believe her friends were so amazing.

Rosalya was indeed crying and Leigh had to calm her down.

"I can't believe you are going" She said in between sobs "I'm gonna miss you so much"

"Rosa, don't cry, we still have a couple hours" Eleanor hugged her friend and they stayed side by side the rest of the time.

Dake also didn't leave her side and kissed her whenever he had the chance. Eleanor didn't mind.

She spotted Lysander halfway through the party making an angry phone call. She was going to talk to him but he looked like he was going to explode with anger. As soon as he saw her staring, though, his expression softened and he gave her a small smile.

They had to go in half an hour and Rosalya was weeping at this point. Eleanor wanted to spend every minute she had left with her friends.

That's when she heard someone tapping on a mic.

"Testing" Castiel's voice echoed through the room "Um… hello everyone"

Eleanor had to admit she was surprised. She didn't expect Castiel to come, mostly because she thought he was mad at her. He looked nice. He had a red shirt and his leather jacket on and was wearing black, ripped skinny jeans and combat boots. His acoustic guitar was hanging from his shoulder.

"So, basically, I fucked up really badly and, Eleanor, I wanted to say I'm sorry. You are my friend and if you're happy, I'm happy. You know I'm crap with words so I'll sing you a song that you once requested me, but I didn't know how to play it. I made a few changes, I hope that's okay"

Castiel sat down on the chair behind him and started playing a few chords. Eleanor recognized the song immediately and fought the urge to cry.

She was crying. Eleanor walked up to Castiel when he was done unplugging and putting his stuff away.

"Hey" She said.

"Hey. Were you crying?"

"I love that song. Thought you weren't coming"

"Almost didn't, Lys shouted at me"

"I'm glad you did, Castiel. I- I forgive you"

"Really?"

"We were both stupid. Also, I really loved the song. Thank you"

"I'm glad you liked it"

"Can I get a hug?"

Castiel opened his arms and Eleanor buried her face in his chest. He smelled like Castiel. Leather and perfume and something she couldn't quite figure out what it was. She had missed him. So much.

Then something clicked in her head. She let go of her friend and looked over at Dake. She didn't feel it.

"Just a second" She told Castiel and went over to Dake "I'm sorry"

"For what?"

She explained and Dake understood. He hugged her and kissed her forehead before walking away.

As Eleanor made her way to Castiel, her fingertips were tingling and her heart was racing. She hugged him again and she felt warm, like someone was lighting a bonfire inside her chest. And that's when Eleanor kissed Castiel.

And that's when everything went red.

The people at the party were confused. Lysander was screaming "I fucking told you" at Rosalya. People could see it from five blocks away. But Eleanor didn't care right now. Nor did Castiel.

When they pulled away, everything was still red for Eleanor. For Castiel, everything was blue and they just had to laugh.

"I can't believe your hair is fucking blue" Castiel said smiling

Eleanor smiled as well and ran her fingers through Castiel's hair.

"Don't talk about mine"

"Why?"

"Because yours is fucking red"
