Just a bit of ridiculousness I thought of while watching the season six premiere last week. Some spoilers if you haven't seen it yet!

"I am so incredibly happy that this damn investigation is over with!" Jane exclaimed tiredly as she pulled throw pillows off of their bed. A million throw pillows. She didn't even have the energy to complain about them like the normally did.
Maura nodded from her side of the bed, "Mmhhmm," she hummed in agreement.
Jane climbed into bed and collapsed again her pillow, "I don't know what I would have done if Frankie had gone to jail. I knew that there was no way that he would've taken the shot without good reason."
The medical examiner sat down on the bed but didn't climb under the covers or sit back against the headboard. Jane finally questioned her, "Maura, honey, are you ok?"
She paused for a moment more before she sighed and spoke, "I have to talk to you about something. Something that has been bothering me all day."
"Ok," Jane said hesitantly as she sat up.
"Someone told me today – they said…" she paused again, unsure of what to say. She finally just spit it out. "They said that you kissed Nina during the investigation today."
Jane's jaw went slack, "I…what…" She stumbled over her words before exclaiming, "It was on the cheek!" Her words came out rushed, "I swear, Maura! It was only on the cheek and I was just really excited about the evidence that she had pulled from all of the social media crap! I promise! I never thought that…" She was about to babble on further when she noticed the smirk that had slid across her girlfriend's face.
"You choose today of all days to play a joke on me!"
Maura could do nothing but laugh loudly at Jane's response. "I'm sorry, sweetie. I just couldn't pass it up! She mentioned it in passing today, about how excited that you were, and I couldn't resist teasing you a bit."
"That was mean," Jane whined, "I was so happy about how everything turned out today and then you pulled all of that out from under me!" The detective wrapped her arms around her knees and began to pout.
"Oh, come on, Jane." The brunette refused to make eye contact, "Jane. It was just a joke. You play jokes on me all the time and I put up with it." Maura wrapped her arms around Jane's shoulders and nuzzled her nose below her ear. Jane still did not respond, "Ok, fine. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have joked about it. I'm sorry."
The detective finally turned her head and pressed her lips to Maura's in a silent acceptance of her apology. "Nina said that you have very soft lips." The honey blonde chuckled when her lips were released.
"Lips that are only for your lips."
"Yeah?" Maura asked with a chuckle.
"Always."
