Chapter 14: Helghan I – Not According to Plan

Shepard stood still in the shuttle as it flew towards the planet's surface. The battle below was raging. Projectiles were flying in the air, and fires had started in many spots. Vehicles lay overturned, or destroyed. Only some were still functional, racing towards the heart of the city. This was the planet Helghan. The shuttle rocked as shells exploded in the air, forcing James to swerve around them.

"Drive properly, James!" Shepard shouted to the ISA lieutenant.

"Doing the best I can!" he shouted back, his voice giving away his stress.

Shepard wondered why he had let James pilot the Kodiak. Javik and Liara sat in the back with Shepard as the shuttle moved around violently.

"Such primitive weapons," the prothean observed. "In my cycle, we used a wider array of technological weapons."

A bright flash of light blinded Shepard as he looked out the window. A huge explosion bloomed out of the city as the shuttle flew on. Many of the ground troops disappeared in the explosion, and the shockwaves shook the Kodiak, sending it plummeting down all of a sudden.

"James!" Shepard shouted over the alarm. "What did you do?"

"Nothing!" he responded, trying to right the shuttle. "The shockwave's messed with the stabilizers! We're going down! Hold on!"

The shuttle spun a few times before landing on the ground hard. The impact forced Shepard's head up to the roof, and everything went black.

"Commander!"

Shepard opened his eyes. Javik was standing over him, an arm stretched out in front of him. Shepard took it as the prothean helped him up.

"You alright?" he asked.

"Of course!" Shepard responded triumphantly. "I'm Shepard after all. Galactic hero?"

"I see."

Shepard walked towards the front of the shuttle to find James. The human gorilla stood in front, busily trying to repair the shuttle.

"What happened, James?" the commander angrily asked.

"Beats me," James replied. "One of the guys said the Autarch blew a nuclear bomb in his own city."

"Autarch?" Shepard asked. "What is that? A cake?"

"Oh, no commander," James said, trying not to laugh. "That's Visari. He's the Autarch. Leader of the Helghast."

Shepard nodded. "Yes, I knew that. I was testing your memory. See if you lost it in the crash or not."

All around, the remaining ISA force gathered themselves near the first opening of the city.

"You should get to finding Colonel Templar, loco," James told him. "Don't worry. I'll repair the shuttle. You go on."

"Sure," Shepard said before walking off to join the ISA assault force.

It was a smaller group than he had first thought, but they seemed determined enough to succeed. He walked up to one of the soldiers who seemed like he was in charge.

"Hey, you," Shepard asked. The man turned to Shepard with an irritated look on his face. "I'm looking for Colonel Templar. I'm Commander Shepard."

"Ah, commander," the soldier said. "We've been expecting the Alliance at some point. I'm Captain Narville. Unfortunately, Colonel Templar's dead."

"Wait, what?" Shepard asked.

"He sacrificed himself earlier to take out the city's defense grid."

"Great…" Shepard sighed. "Was that the huge explosion earlier?"

Narville shook his head. "That was the Helghast's. They detonated a nuclear bomb in their own city to take us out."

"Wow, that sure is EVIL. And that's what I do, captain. Stop evil."

"That's good commander," Narville turned to the front. "We'll be moving in. You can join up with Alpha Team and help them out. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to have an Alliance hero fighting alongside them."

"Sure thing," Shepard said before walking off to find Alpha team. "Good luck, capt."

Javik and Liara walked over to join him as he went in search of Alpha team. Eventually, he found a group of guys standing around waiting.

"Yo, guys!" Shepard shouted as he neared them. "I'm looking for Alpha team. You guys look like you might be it."

"Sorry," one of them said. "Alpha team's in front. See that guy there?"

He pointed to one that had a sort of Mohawk. "That's Alpha team."

"Ok thanks," Shepard said. "And by the way, I'm Commander Shepard, galactic hero."

He walked on towards Alpha team. His blood was pumping furiously inside him. It's been a while since he was in a big war like this. The moment was exciting him. He arrived at the team and took a look at them before deciding to talk. The one who the other guy pointed out had a Mohawk and looked like most standard ISA guys, but main guys didn't wear helmets. Another one had a blue bandana on his head and the third wore more layers of cloth than the others, and had baldish hair. Kind of like Shepard himself.

"Alpha team?" Shepard asked as he approached them. "I'm commander Shepard, Alliance Navy."

"Commander Shepard!" the clothed, balder one said. "I'm Rico. Rico Velasquez. And this here is Sevchenko, but we just call him Sev."

He pointed to the Mohawk one, who nodded at Shepard.

"And the other one's Natko."

The bandana man smiled.

"We've heard a lot about you, commander," Rico told him. "Heard you've saved the galaxy a few times."

"Yeah," Shepard smiled. "I am the biggest hero in the galaxy."

"That's good to know, commander," Sev said. "We'll need bigger heroes to finish this."

"Well, let's go then!" Shepard shouted, more excited than before. "Time to show these Helghast what commander Shepard can really do!"

The palace was still intact. Not much damage was done to it, but it had a few cracks and rubble in a few places. Shepard moved along with Alpha team. Whenever Helghast assault waves popped out of nowhere, they quickly got behind cover and took them out quickly. Sev and Natko were quite good, tactically finishing off the Helghast as they came. Rico was more of a louder guy, standing up and mowing down Helghast with his LMG. Javik amused Shepard with his biotics and particle beam gun. Technology from the prothean era was amazing. Liara shot at soldiers time to time, but used her biotics to incapacitate the Helghast as the others took them out. Shepard had gotten behind a fallen pillar and took headshots at troops when they stood up. After he had taken out about seven troops or so, he advanced forward, drawing out his new revenant assault rifle. He fired off bursts of bullets, taking down a group of three helghast engineers setting up turrets. A sniper almost got him, but Natko took him out with a bullet to the face.

"Nice job, team!" Shepard shouted as he rushed on. "You're all doing fine, but of course, not as well as me! Push on!"

No one said anything about that, but followed Shepard's lead. As they entered a courtyard looking area, hunters dropped down from a nearby ruined building. Shepard counted four in total. The nearest one lunged at him and got a chest full of bullets. With the revenant in hand, Shepard took it down easily.

"Who's next?" he taunted as he ejected another thermal clip.

The hunters were weary, but one soon jumped behind the commander, running for his teammates. The other two ran at Shepard from two directions. Shepard mowed down one, while the other got near enough to slice him up with its claws. Shepard did a combat roll away from the deadly claws as the hunter slashed away in his direction. The other hunter jumped to Shepard's teammates, and got a few hundred bullets hitting it as it jumped for them. In fell down, dead, in front of Sev.

"Yeah!" the ISA soldier shouted.

A sudden bullet shot pierced the air as more Helghast soldiers moved in. Sev almost lost his face when a marksman fired at him. He ducked down in time, and reloaded his rifle.

"Got a sniper up there somewhere!" he shouted.

"I see him," Javik sounded.

He whipped up a biotic pull and brought the sniper, floating out of the building. With a following biotic push, he propelled the sniper a few feet into the air before he started falling. They wouldn't have to worry about that one now. Shepard activated his omni-blade as he battled with the hunter. He did a combat roll forward under the swing of a hunter's arm and brought his blade upwards under the hunter's jaw. It growled for a bit before going limp. Shepard had to deactivate the blade before pulling it out as to not have a B.O.W fall on him.

"Ha!" he shouted, dancing around the dead body.

More bullets forced him back as more Helghast troops came out of nowhere. Sev and Rico came to join him behind his piece of cover.

"We're almost there!" Rico shouted over the new gunfire. "Just got to get to that doorway!"

Shepard looked up. In front, there was a huge doorway, leading straight to Visari's palace. Guarding the front of the doors, was a B.O.W Shepard knew too well.

"We've got a tyrant in front," he said. "That's not going to be easy."

"Don't worry," Rico said. "So far, everything's going according to plan. We just need to keep pushing."

Rico stood up and destroyed a turret that an engineer just put up, and took the engineer out as well. Shepard tossed two frag grenades over, taking out a few Helghast troopers behind their cover. One jumped out of the way, but Sev got him with a burst from his rifle as he fell from his jump.

Shepard called back to his teammates. "Let's go! Move, move!"

Liara led Javik and Natko forward from their cover, protecting them with her biotic barriers. Javik melted a Helghast engineer as he tried to build a turret, and Natko shot a few troopers as they moved forward. A trooper tried to ambush them around a corner, but Javik had some super CQC techniques, downing him and taking him out with his rifle after. Suddenly, Natko fell, taking a bullet to the side from a marksman up ahead.

"Natko took a bullet!" Sev shouted. "You gotta get to him, Rico!"

"I'll see what I can do," the LMG wielder shouted and jumped over the cover.

Two troopers stood to take him out, but Sev fired at them, forcing them back down. Rico had gotten to another pillar when two heavy's appeared from another ruined building.

"Heavy's with gatling guns!" Shepard shouted, always making sure to say something like that when he saw a heavy.

Rico was just next to Natko's body, but the gunfire stopped him from bringing out the medi-gel gadget for some reason.

"I can't revive you!" he shouted as the bullets pelted against the pillar he was behind.

Shepard got up and unleashed a spray of bullets at one of the heavys. The bullets knocked him back, but they didn't really do anything else. The heavy turned to him and fired away. Two bullets attacked Shepard's armor before he got to safety behind his cover.

"Remember!" Shepard shouted to the others. "Their weak point is that pack behind them!"

Sev shouted over to Rico, while trying to get a shot at the heavys' weak point.

"Rico! Just use the gadget! Its range is far enough to heal Natko!"

Rico shook his head. "I can't get to him!"

"Use the gadget from behind the cover!" Sev shouted back.

More bullets pelted the area around him, forcing him fully behind his cover. Javik unleashed a dark channel on one of the heavys, causing him to flail around as the biotics enveloped him. That gave Sev the chance to open fire on the heavy's pack. The pack eventually burst into flames with the continuous fire, forcing the heavy down in biotics and fire. The second one hesitated for a while, but decided that he was going to take out Shepard's group. He advanced forward, walking towards Rico as he kept shooting, keeping the ISA soldier at bay. Shepard ran out from his cover, straight for the heavy. The heavy turned to him, shooting away as Shepard ran around it. That gave Rico the opportunity to lean out of cover and blast the heavy back with his own barrage of bullets. The bullets hit the pack many times, blowing it up in a fiery ball. The heavy grabbed for it, while Shepard ran for him and stabbed him with his omni-blade. The heavy fell with a heavy thud.

"Rico! Get Natko!" Sev shouted after the gunfight.

Rico brought out the healing gadget, but it didn't seem to have any effect. Eventually, Rico got up with a sigh.

"He's gone man," he said. "I couldn't revive him."

Sev's eyes grew wider. "I told you! You could have revived him! But you had to wait? Now we've lost both Natko and Garza!"

Rico burst out with anger. "It's not my fault! I couldn't get to him!"

Shepard knew he had to do something, so he stepped between them. They both stared at him as he tried to find something cool to say.

"Uhhh…" was what he managed.

Liara stepped in to calm them down. "Enough. What's done is done. Nothing you can do about it anymore. Don't fight each other when you're enemy is close at hand."

"She's right," Shepard added, finally able to say something. "Visari is close. We just need to push a little further, and he's all yours."

"Yeah," Sev said, calming his anger down. "We'll fight on for them. We're close."

"Enough talk!" Javik added in. "Let's move on! We've still got the giant to deal with."

The team looked forward. The tyrant still stood at the doors, awaiting the challenge coming its way.

James had just got the shuttle working, when sparks erupted from the engines again.

"Argh!" he shouted. "What am I, a mechanic? Where's Mason when you need him?"

He ran over to the bulk of the ISA leading force. He found the nerdiest looking guy and got him to repair the shuttle.

"Sure," he had said. "I'll try, but this is an Alliance shuttle, so it might take more time. I'm not too familiar with them."

"You might be better at it than I," James laughed.

He walked off, looking for something better he could do. The attack force was already working its way towards the palace.

"Maybe I should join them," he told himself, silently deciding the choices.

James put a hand to his chin, thinking about what he wanted to do.

"Hmmm..."

He walked around a bit, thinking of what his decision would be. They were going to need lots of help. Only one soldier close enough to Visari would stand guard at his throne room, and that soldier was more terrifying than any other he had seen before. Maybe except for Shepard.

"Should I?"

Shepard stood in front of the tyrant, trying to stare the giant down. The tyrant's gaze was like stone, staring straight at Shepard, unflinching. The commander made animal growls, trying to intimidate it, but none succeeded.

"Commander, I don't think that's a good idea," Sev said, carefully watching the B.O.W.

"Course it is!" Shepard assured.

He turned back as a shadow fell over him. The tyrant had brought both its arms over his head. The commander managed to dodge out of the way just as it brought both its arms down, smashing the concrete where he had just been. Shepard wore a face of shock, but when he realized his teammates watching him, he regained his face of rage and fired back. The tyrant brought up an arm to cover its face and started advancing on Shepard. The revenant fired at a higher rate than the phaeston, staggering the tyrant a little bit more. But only a little bit more. The tyrant advanced at a normal speed, getting closer to the commander every second. The others joined in and fired upon the tyrant. As more bullets pelted the creature, it issued forth a fearsome roar and charged at Shepard.

"Whoa!" he shouted as he had to roll away again as the tyrant smashed through the spot he was standing at a few seconds ago.

It skidded forward, taking out a chunk of the ground, but didn't stop, and ran straight for Rico. Rico, the stubborn ISA man he was, stood his ground and held the trigger of his LMG. The tyrant kept running, feeling only a little of the pain from the bullets. Eventually, it was Liara, who used a biotic push to get Rico out of the way as the tyrant attempted to grab him. Javik used a dark channel on it, weakening it as it turned around. Sev, Rico, and Shepard tossed a grenade each, scattering the explosives around the tyrant. Before it could sprint away from them, Shepard shot at the grenades, causing them to explode in a chain reaction.

"Looks like that got it!" Rico shouted, and started whooping, pumping his arms to the sky.

Javik walked over, carrying some kind of container with green energy in it. He threw it into the smoke, and as the container broke, the green energy arced all over the blast zone, disintegrating rocks and pieces of metal as the energy touched them.

"Where'd you get that?" Rico asked him. "That's petrusite! The Helghast don't leave that lying around!"

"Apparently they do," Javik replied. "I just walked to it and brought it back."

As the smoke cleared, nothing was left standing there. Whether it was the grenades or the petrusite, they would never know.

"Alright!" Shepard shouted to the others as he ran ahead alone. "Time to get Visari!"

Sev was the first to sense something was wrong as they entered the palace. Not a single Hig was around. The Helghast would never leave their Autarch to defend for himself. He checked around the corners and the ceilings. No soldiers in sight.

"Don't you find it a little strange at all?" he asked the commander.

"Nah," he shrugged. "They're just too afraid of how awesome I am on the battlefield."

Out of nowhere, one Helghast materialized, hidden from view with the use of stealth camo. The Helghast was none other than Colonel Mael Radec himself.

"How nice of you to make it to the palace, Vektans," he said, putting up a calm demeanour. He turned to Shepard's team as well. "And you too, Commander Shepard. I was expecting you to show up."

Shepard stepped forward. "Well, of course you did! Everyone knows I show up! I'm the best hero in the galaxy!"

Radec shook his head. "Well, no matter. If you think you can get to the Autarch now, think again. You'll have to get by me first."

With that said, Radec disappeared again, activating his stealth camo. Explosions rang out from above as holes in the ceiling appeared. The special Helghast forces dropped in, wielding weapons like rocket launchers, LMGs and normal rifles.

"Cover!" Sev shouted as they all dived for the nearest cover.

Bullets started pelting the stone blocks they hid behind as the Helghast opened fire. Sev's instincts were correct. Nothing would ever be this easy. In between them and Visari, stood twelve special forces Higs, and one brutal colonel. Rico and Shepard leaned out from the sides, their guns blazing. They took down about three of the higs before they had to retreat behind the cover again.

"This seems pretty easy," Shepard said, smiling. "We just keep leaning out and taking a few at a time."

Out of nowhere, Radec materialized, stabbing his knife towards Shepard's head. Shepard just had enough time to fall flat to the ground to avoid it, but the colonel kicked him in the side, forcing him out into the open.

"Ack!" Shepard squeezed out as he scrambled for cover. Bullets shot around him. They would have hit him if he didn't have plot armor, allowing him to get away with minimal shields. Liara and Javik had started shooting at Radec, but he vanished again, avoiding their attack.

The Helghast colonel appeared behind Javik and knocked him forward with the butt of his pistol. While Javik stumbled, Radec jabbed his blade forward, aiming for Javik's back. Shepard ran out of nowhere and parried Radec's knife with his omni-blade. Sev and Rico kept the other Higs busy for Shepard's team to face Radec. Shepard whipped around and smashed the back of his arm into Radec's helmet, knocking him to the side. The colonel quickly recovered his stance and vanished again.

"Come on!" Shepard shouted in frustration. "Fight like a galaxy hero!"

Sev and Rico took down two more Higs before the special forces decided to take cover behind objects.

"That showed them!" Rico voiced.

Shepard and his team stood together, their backs facing each other, waiting for the Helghast colonel to show his face again. Radec popped up further ahead this time, and levelled his pistol to Shepard's chest. Shepard ran to the colonel as he shot off two bullets. Both bullets hit Shepard, but his shields absorbed the damage. Before a third could be fired, Liara had whipped up a biotic barrier, sealing Radec and Shepard in a small sphere. Javik added in, boosting the power of the biotic sphere. Shepard felt more powerful. Like the sphere was somehow giving him energy to fight. He arrived in front of the colonel and slashed at him with his omni-blade. The colonel dodged and disappeared again, but this time, he didn't have much space to travel.

"All yours, commander," Shepard heard Javik say within the sphere. "Use your instincts."

Radec appeared to Shepard's left and ran at him with his knife in hand. Shepard kept his omni-blade out and clashed blades with the colonel as they attacked each other.

"You think yourself superior, commander?" Radec taunted, slashing away with his knife. "There are few in the universe who are equal with me. Not even your Master Chief could defeat me."

Shepard blocked and attacked again. "Yeah? Well you're not equal with me alright. I'm on a much higher level!"

Radec and Shepard traded blows, their blades creating sparks as they buzzed against each other. All of a sudden, Radec lunged forward, grappling for both Shepard's arms. Shepard didn't realize what Radec was trying to do and brought up his omni-blade to block. Radec grabbed both his arms and forced him down. Shepard tried to get up, but Radec held him down.

"Sorry, commander," Radec said, bringing out his knife again. "I, am the better fighter."

One hand and his body weight held Shepard down, while the other brought the knife up, ready for the kill.

"Any last words, commander?" the Helghast colonel asked.

"Yeah," Shepard said, a smile forming on his face. "If I can't beat you, and my teammates can't hear me in this sphere, I'll cheat!"

Radec was taken by surprise by the one second, and that was all Shepard needed to cheat. He suddenly threw up some powder from his hand at the colonel's face. Radec was stunned for a while, but in the end, nothing happened. Shepard was still stuck.

"What was that?" the colonel asked, clearly confused by the event that just occurred.

"Uhhh…," Shepard observed. "That was supposed to make you jump back when the powder flew at you. I got that from James's room, so I guessed it must be lethal."

The colonel started laughing at him. "You forget. We Helghast wear Masks and goggles."

"Oops," Shepard said, missing that whole fact.

"Now you will die," Radec said, readying his knife again.

A crash stole the attention of both Radec and Shepard. They turned to the right, looking at the source of the crash. A Kodiak burst through the front wall of the palace, and was heading straight for them.

Sev and Rico had almost taken down all the Special Forces Helghast as Shepard duelled with Colonel Radec. One had a rocket launcher, and fired at Sev. He ducked, but the explosion took out his cover, leaving him in the open.

"Got'cha covered, Sev!" Rico shouted, leaning out and firing his LMG. He got the rocket Helghast in the face a few times, finishing him. Only one Hig remained. Colonel Radec. They got up and went over to join Liara and Javik. All of a sudden, an Alliance Kodiak bashed through the wall, heading straight for Shepard's position.

"Commander!" Sev shouted, and ran forward a little.

"He cannot hear you in our sphere!" Javik said, pulling Sev back.

The Kodiak rushed forward, and with a little explosion of energy, the sphere collapsed, allowing the Kodiak to fly in and through, crashing into a nearby pillar at the far end. Both Shepard and Radec had vanished.

"Shepard!" Liara called out, searching for the commander.

The team looked around, eventually going over to search the Kodiak. As they approached, a burly ISA soldier stepped out, dazed from the crash.

"Great," James said as he walked about. "That shuttle just got fixed."

A clunk brought their attention back to the shuttle. A figure crept out from the wreckage, walking towards the team.

"He's still alive?!" James shouted out.

Colonel Radec walked slowly towards James, who was the nearest one to him. He whipped out his pistol in one hand, and the knife in the other.

"I'll kill you all!" he said as he shuffled forward.

Out of nowhere, Shepard curved into his path. Radec stabbed down at him, but he deflected with his omni-blade again. With a quick spin around, Shepard brought the omni-blade back, and forward, straight into Radec's stomach.

"Agh!" the Helghast colonel spurted.

He dropped his knife as he looked at Shepard, face to face.

"Told you I'm better!" Shepard shouted in his face. "We're taking you in! You probably know lots of the Illusive Man's plans."

Radec huffed, and with the last of his strength, he brought the gun to his head and fired. Shepard deactivated his omni-blade, letting Radec's body fall to the ground. Rico walked out from behind him and spat at Radec's body as he walked past, heading for Visari's room.

"Nice work, commander," James said, patting Shepard on the back. "You took out the legendary Colonel Radec!"

Shepard didn't like James touching him. "Yeah. I was the better fighter after all."

"Right you are, loco."

With Radec finished, the team approached the doors to Visari's room, ready to race the leader of the Helghast.

Visari wasn't what Shepard expected. He expected someone with a giant mech or something, but there stood a frail old man. He stood in front, his arms behind his back, surveying the battle through a giant window.

"You have reached me," Visari spoke without turning around.

"Uhhh… duh," Shepard said.

"So what happens now?" Liara asked out, open for anyone's answer.

"We bring him to justice," Rico added, walking towards Visari.

"Not by killing him," Sev said. "We are to bring him in."

Rico frowned. "Fine."

"Do you really think you've won this war?" Visari asked, turning around to face Rico who was almost to him.

Shepard pointed to himself. "Well, considering I'm here, I think it's over."

"Commander Shepard," Visari said, taking a few steps forward. "The great Commander Shepard. You're a lot smaller than what the Illusive Man describes."

"Yeah?" Shepard said angrily. "I'm going to shoot you!"

Shepard moved to pick out his pistol, but Liara stopped him.

"No Shepard! You can't shoot him."

"Yeah," Rico supported. "I'm going to shoot him first."

"No Rico," Sev said. "No shooting!"

Visari laughed. "Look at you fools. Squabbling among yourselves. Taking or killing me will change nothing! My Helghast will retaliate full force after I'm gone! They will darken the skies of my world and Vekta! Your people will fall! I'm the only thing holding their rage at bay. Without me, they would destroy everything in their path!"

Suddenly, a bullet shot rang out in the open space. Everyone turned to Rico, the barrel of his gun smoking. Visari suddenly doubled over and fell on his back. A pool of blood started to spread under him.

"Rico!" Sev shouted. "What have you done! I said no shooting!"

"Yeah!" Shepard added. "That was going to be my kill!"

"He wanted us to kill him!" Rico shouted back.

"He wants you to kill him so that the Helghast would want revenge and kill us all!" Sev shouted again.

Javik stepped forward. "In my cycle, we would kill those that taunted us, and destroy the revenge that would follow."

The conversation stayed quiet, and everyone except Rico rushed over to see what they could do for Visari.

"He's already lost too much blood," Liara said. "There's nothing we can do."

No amount of medi-gel would save the Autarch. He raised his head and looked to the ceiling.

"The madness…" Visari gurgled out, as everyone looked to him. "Begins…"

And with that said, Visari slumped back down, dead.

"You've really done it now, Rico!" Sev said, walking back to his comrade. "We've got to go. The Helghast will be coming."

"He's right," James said, returning to the team. "I've just taken a look at the radars. We've got a spike in Helghast activity. It's like they know the Autarch just died."

Shepard rushed outside all of a sudden, leaving his team inside as they figured out what to do with Visari's body. He stood at the steps to the palace and looked around. ISA soldiers were running around aimlessly, prepping their gear and getting their vehicles operational. As Shepard looked on, a massive shadow loomed over him. He widened his eyes and looked up. Above him, a massive Helghast fleet roared into view. There were hundreds of carriers flying on, their weapons getting ready to fire down on the ISA.

"That Rico's done it now," Shepard said, sitting down on the steps.

He looked on, trying to imagine a brighter future of this. He couldn't really see one. The future was black.

"The fleet's blocking out the sky," Shepard sighed.

His teammates walked out to join him as the ISA medics ran into the building, led by Captain Narville.

"Will there really be an escape from this?" Shepard thought to himself. "Of course. I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite galaxy in the universe."
