Hey guys, Thanks for understanding you are all wonderful. I showed her your comments and she wanted me to thanks you all for them. So thanks, from both of us.

My story has been added to the community, 'For the love of NaLu.' This story may or may not be a NaLu, so all you NaLu heads out there, don't get too excited.

Also, as the reviewer 'gunday', said, in the last chapter, Natsu 'spoke' however it was just Cobra translating the thoughts in Natsu's head. It's a pain to write that all the time though, so from last chapter and from then on, whenever you see Natsu talking, you can safely assume that it's Cobra talking for Natsu, though sometimes, Cobra will get sick of talking for Natsu and not speak at all. This way, it will also help you tell the difference between Cobra's words and the words intended for Natsu.

And I'm watching the anime Shugo Chara! It's so cute! And I totally ship Amouto. ^_^

AND IMORTANT! ON THE 25th THE PEACKEEPER WILL BE ONE YEAR OLD! YAYE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

-Natsu-

I flip through the channels, not watching or even listening. My mind is miles away, or to be accurate, few rooms away. Lucy. Every kiss, every touch after our first kiss, always, always elicited a reaction. Either embarrassment or anger. But this time, she just kissed me back, no emotions, it was unfair of me to push myself on her, when there was so much going on, but how could I not? I'd been waiting for forever. I chased away her boyfriends, beat up those pervy bastards who ogled her, I'd begged Levy to talk to her about the clothes she wore, in an attempt to lessen the number of men chasing my Lucy. My Lucy. Whether she's my mate, or my friend, she's still mine.

"Oi! Flame breath are you listening?" Gajeel thumps me on the head, interrupting my from my thoughts. I look up at him. His face is lit up in a ridiculous grin. "I'm going to be a dad!" He finishes.

I nod and return to 'watching' the vision lacrima and out of the corner of my eye, I can see him scowl. "Don't be so excited."

"It is a happy time to be sure, but my companion and I require a full briefing immediately if we are to be of any help to you." The new girl's statement, though quiet, silences the room.

"She doesn't mess around." Lily whispers to Rouge.

"Uh, we don't know much." Sting tells her.

Yuki rolls her eyes. "Typical. And this house is worse than a pig-sty. How can you live in such disgusting, unhygienic quarters?"

Chuck grins. "You lot are in for it now. She's a clean freak."

Yuki stamps on his toe with what looks like all her strength, but judging by Chuck's unchanging expression and the fact that the top of her head only reaches the bottom of his rib-cage, it didn't hurt him at all.

"I am not a freak. I simply require clean, neat and functional living quarters. This… house, meets none of those standards. You." She swings around and points and finger at Rouge. "You will give me and my companion a full tour and then explain your mission and all information you have discovered."

"Uh…"

"No, no, no." She shakes her finger. "That was not a request."

Her eyes lock onto each of us in turn, sending shivers down my spine. Chuck ambles over and slumps down onto the floor in front of the vision lacrima.

"Chill out Yu-chi. We just got here, and I'm not in the mood to talk business right now. We've got time."

"There is no time. My informant has told me that the Dragons are planning an attack—"
Chuck waves his hand in her direction. "They've been planning the attack for years."

Yuki walks over, eyes frozen over in determination. She stands over him, grabs the front of his shirt, yanking his torso off the ground. The act wasn't meant to intimidate him, but rather to get his attention. She shakes him slightly and I raise an eyebrow, even when he's practically sitting, Chuck is still taller than her.

"I think you underestimate your opponent. Dragons are creatures of intelligence, they will not make a move against an opponent until they certain that it will ensure their victory. Dragons are content to wait and watch. If they have been planning for years, then our little group is in a terrible position. We know very little about our enemy and, as strong as each of us are, we do not have the strength to exterminate the enemy." Her voice is low, and I get the sense that she's not the type to raise her voice.

Chuck pries her fingers from his shirt and shakes his head. "I think you over estimate them. They aren't gonna attack us anytime soon, because we outnumber them."

Yuki shoves him away from her in disgust. "Then you are a fool." Her words are cutting and I see Chuck flinch. "You." She says sharply, turning on Rogue. "Tour. Now. Get up Chakara."

-Chakara-

With an exaggerated sigh, I heave myself up off the ground. When Yuki got all 'businessy', there is no stopping her. I watch as she picks up her bag, her face completely void of any emotion, but where she's holding her bag tells another story, a sliver of white frost is creeping down the handle of her bag and her knuckles are white from holding on to it so tightly. She's scared. Before we came here, being a Dragon Slayer was all fun and games, we weren't part of a Guild, but we had each other, there wasn't anything I wouldn't do for her and I know that it was the same for Yuki. Being here, with other Dragon Slayers was like being forced into another world, where I could only control very little. I heft my bag over my shoulder and place a hand on her shoulder as the Shadow-Dragon Slayer takes us on tour.

He opens a door adjacent to the lounge room wordlessly. A girl is sitting up-right in one of the beds with a cat with pink fur, wearing a green frog suit, curled up on her left and a blue cat with a green kerchief tied around it's neck nestling into her on the right. The girl doesn't look up when we walk in, she appears totally absorbed in her book, when she lifts her hand to turn a page I catch a glimpse of the title, 'Dragonology.' Rather than observe my surroundings as I should, I look at the girl, at first she is beautiful, hair that spills over her shoulders in uneven, wavy strands that reminds me of gold thread, and her eyes are the colour of molten chocolate, but as I look closer, I can see there is no life in them. Her skin is three shades too pale to be considered healthy and a bandage that appears to be crudely wrapped and teeming with infection covers her neck and right arm. Her eyes are gaunt, almost sunken into her head and dark circles dominate the underside of her eyes. Her hair is dirty and matted with dried blood at the ends.

"This is Lucy. There aren't enough beds for all of us so we'll order more." The guy says.

"There is no need, we intend to finish this in a few days therefore, purchasing extra beds would be an unnecessary waste of money." Yuki tells him, half-carrying, half-dragging her bag over to the corner.

"Where will you sleep?" The voice belongs to a brown cat, perched on the window-sill.

"I am perfectly capable of crafting a bed from ice, Chakara will sleep on the floor with no objections, he is used to rough treatment." As she speaks, she lifts her hands and a snowflake emerges from her cupped hands. The girl reading looks up and watches with a bored expression. The snowflake expands and I watch in awe. Though she's younger than me by a few years, in the time I've known her Yuki's never needed words to use her magic. The ends of the snowflake have turned into pillars and the middle softens to snow, in less than a minute, a bed made of ice and snow is sitting in the corner of the room. Yuki crouches, opens a draw at the bottom of her bed and starts unpacking. She only brought a few things with her, apparently we were only going to be there for a few days, regardless of the result of the war. Not that the rest of our group was aware of that.

"Can't you make a bed for him too?" The brown cat asks.

Yuki doesn't even look up; she just zips up her bag, folds it and slides it under her bed. "Not unless he wants to freeze. Ice is cold." Her voice is condescending.

Without stepping further into the room, I throw my bag on the ground next to her creation.

"You may continue." Yuki says to the creepy dude.

"What?"

"The tour."

"Yeah, right." He walks out and I glance back at the girl. She's watching us, but there's no life in her at all.

"Chakara." Yuki calls.

"Yeah, later." I walk over to the girl.

"Hey." I say, after it's clear that she isn't going to be the one starting this conversation

She nods, but her eyes stray back to the pages of her book.

"I'm Chuck."

The pink cat-frog thing stirs and sits up, rubbing her eyes. She stares at me for a while then traces one of the vines that decorate my arm.

"Plant?" She asks.

I chuckle. "No, I'm a person."

She squints. "Plant boy doesn't look like a person."

"I am. I'm a Dragon Slayer. My name's Chakara. But you can call me Chuck."

"Fro is Fro!" She cheers.

"Uh, what?"

"Fro." The Cat points to herself. "Is Fro."

"Your name is Fro?" I say, guessing at her crude English.

She nods happily. "And Happy!" She says, pointing to the blue cat.

"I'm Lector." The cat from the window says.

"Right."

"Is there a reason you stayed behind?" The girl asks me.

"Sort of."

"Out with it then. I'm recovering and I can't be bothered talking to some random guy."

I frown slightly, and stare at her. Something wasn't right. almost everyone at Fairy Tail had gushed when talking about her, about how nice and caring she was. But if this was nice, I'd hate to see what they thought was 'rude.' And there was something off about her. I couldn't quite place it, but there was something strange about her. Her energy levels were dangerously low, to the point where she should be in a coma. And she was reading, so her mind should be spinning, but it was still. Her mind a blank canvas, her heart was empty I couldn't even locate any memories, and although that had always been a challenge, there should be some memories I could see without really trying. There was nothing forthcoming from her. No information at all. It was almost like… almost like, she was dead. I shake my head. That can't be right, because here she is, breathing, heart beating, ignoring me. She's not dead, not her body anyway. Maybe she's brain dead? But that doesn't fit either. Levy and Mira had told me about her before Yuki and I left. From their stories, she should be up and about, fussing over everyone, talking to Yuki and I, trying to get to know us better. I tug at my hair, agitated and confused, her condition was clear to me, but the others hadn't noticed. Or maybe they had? Yuki and I had only been here for a short while, maybe they didn't want to dump everything on us all at once. Then again, they don't seem like a bright bunch, the smartest seems to be the little girl, or maybe the black cat-thing.

I have been staring at her for too long.

"Can I practice my magic on you?" I ask. Without touching or tasting her, I stop my train of thought. That sounds so perverted! But without having direct contact with her, it would be nearly impossible to tell what was wrong with her.

She shrugs and goes back to her book.

"If you want."

I take her hand in mine chastely and notice, without meaning to, that her skin was extremely worn and hung off her bones. Her skin felt like sandpaper, and it gave me the distinct impression that if I gripped to hard, it would tear. The cosplaying cat crawls up into her lap and holds the book open for her. I close my eyes and start probing her mind.

-Chuck inside Lucy's Consciousness- (Bear with me while I try to explain without confusing you)

Using my powers, I creep up her arm, but I don't get far. A pool of energy where her shoulder joins to her neck is swirling at a much faster rate than usual. Typically, when I wandered through someone's body I rode the pools of energy like a wave to the next, until reaching their mind, but if I tried to approach her from here, I would undoubtedly be thrown across the room and have my own consciousness stripped away from me for an undetermined period of time. The pool, a soft baby pink on the inside, and a razor sharp black on the outside, the black appears to be seeping closer and closer to the inside of the circle. Some outer force is at play here. Something is affecting her mental and physical state, and until I figure out what it is, so I can help her out, I'd better leave it alone. So, instead of going further, I speak to Lucy from here. It will be less effective, but better than nothing.

What is your name?

Lucy

Her voice echoes in my head, much softer than the one she used before. Sweeter.

Full name?

I don't know

What do you mean you don't know?

I haven't used my full name in a while. I don't remember it.

Uh… How old are you?

Eighteen. I think.

What Guild do you belong to?

Fairy Tail

How did you join Fairy Tail?

I don't know

Who took you there?

I don't know.

Who's team are you in?

I don't know.

I withdraw, release her hand and stand up. There definitely was something wrong with Lucy. Maybe she had a curse put on her? But from what I can see, her compassion has been severely hampered. That much was easy to see. And her memories too. Maybe not now, but soon, all her memories would disappear. And I still don't know what was causing it. I guess I'll have to talk to Yuki about it.

Yuki is a healer like Wendy, but she's a much better healer than Wendy is. Yes, Lucy's losing her memories, has lost her magic and her worth as a female (she doesn't care much about looks anymore) what else has she lost? It was hinted at before!
