Chapter Five

Kagome saw the happy couple say 'I Do' and seal it with a kiss. She was happy for Bella, she was getting her 'Happily Ever After' something Kagome had wanted since meeting Inuyasha...but that was no longer an option for her.

Kagome wasn't going to get the ending she dreamed of when she was fifteen, not with a normal human. Kagome had been through too much...seen too many things to be with a human. That and Kagome didn't want to lie about her past, the things she shed blood and tears for, and her powers.

Kagome didn't want a relationship with lies. If she was with someone, there would be no lies, nothing like the relationships she had seen her old friends from school. It wasn't a healthy relationship her friends had...

When she watched Bella and Edward go down the Aisle, smiling, her eyes softened with longing. She could feel the happiness radiating of Bella, the pure joy showing on her face and in her Aura. Kagome wasn't going to lie...she was jealous, but even with those feelings she was happy for her cousin.

Kagome was brought out of her thoughts when a cold hand touches her arm, making her blink and look to the person who brought her out of her dazed state.

Tanya was looking at her, a small frown on her face, "You alright?"

Kagome gave the golden eyed woman a smile, "I'm fine...just thinking." and she was. Kagome was thinking of many things and her emotions were getting the better of her right now.

Tanya glanced at Eleazar then back at Kagome, "The reception is to the side of the house..." She trailed off as she motioned to the crowd of people making their way to a tent, not far from where they were.

Nodding Kagome glanced around, trying to see if she could find her Aunt and Uncle, "I best fo find my Aunt and Uncle..." she told them as she flashed a smile to Tanya and her family, "Thank you for letting me sit with you. I will probably find you later during the reception..."

Tanya grinned, "Don't worry, I'll find you later so we can talk more...Our family is going to go meet the bride and congratulate our cousin."

Kagome looked at the other gold eyed people she sat with, "It was nice meeting you all." She gave one last smile, before leaving them. As she got a few yards away, she almost stopped walking as she felt something tug in her chest.

Putting a hand on her chest she gave a mutter under her breath before glancing back at Tanya. Kagome shook her head, before moving to the tend to find her Aunt and Uncle, and hopefully talk to her cousin more.

As she kept walking away, she didn't feel the longing gold eyes watching her every move.

Tanya watched as her mate walked away from her and had to hold herself back from following after her. She saw Kagome put a hand on her chest and mutter, as she glanced back her way, before disappearing out of site.

Tanya didn't know how to make of this situation, she had given up on finding her mate, but here she was. She was speechless.

"Tanya..." She turned to her coven, who were all looking at her with mixed emotions. They had an idea who the human was to her, but they weren't one hundred percent positive.

"Yes..." Tanya gave them a smile, her eyes filled with longing as she looked back at the way her mate went, "...That is her...my mate..."

Irina sighed, before giving a laugh, "We figured. You wouldn't bring a human to sit with us unless she meant something to you..."

Kate but in grinning, "Though...she wasn't what I expected for you as a mate..."

Tanya laughed, "I was surprised myself, I have a liking to both sexes, so I never knew if my mate would be male or female...so it is a nice surprise to finally meet my mate. " a wistful look came to her face, "...I had almost given up..."

" She is..unique that is for sure..." Elazar murmured, eyes still looking in the direction Tanya's mate, Kagome, went. He felt like he should know what she was, she wasn't a regular human, she was blocking him somehow.

Frowning Tanya looked at him, "What do you mean..."

Giving a low hum, he explained, "She is somewhat blocking me. I recognize she has a power, but I can't pinpoint it...I usually can't tell a human's power unless they have activated it..."

Tanya knew this, eyes narrowing, "That means she has some knowledge of the supernatural then."

This means it could be easier to explain what a mate is when the time came. First, she needed to find a way for her to live close to Kagome...without it looking like she was stalking her...

Tanya was going to have a lot of thinking to do and knew she needed to do it fast since she didn't know how long Kagome would be in Forks for...

Yuki Note: I hope you all liked this! XD, I had this chapter on paper for...almost a week. So...I finally got around to typing it up.
