I felt myself regaining consciousness, my head was throbbing madly and my clothes were….wet? When I opened my eyes all I saw was black, "Oh" I said "It must be nightfall already" I got up and looked around. My clothes were ruined and I had a gash on my head, It was bleeding a bit. When I looked around me all I saw were broken pieces of rubble and…buildings?
Has there been an earthquake?
What about Ada and the others?
Are they safe?
What on earth happened?
Then it hit me. We were walking home from school, the sky turned black and I heard a lullaby…It sounded like a pocket watch.
I started to walk in a random direction, not really knowing where I was or where I was heading. Wait I thought where's Ada and Gil? Why am I alone? I felt myself begin to panic, "ADA!" I shouted "GUYS WHERE ARE YOU?!"
This is the moment my life changed forever. I just had to turn my head to the right didn't I? For at that moment I found an object that was going to destroy everything dear to me. It was just there, floating in front of me. Every fibre of my body screamed at me to run in the opposite direction. But I didn't. I should have been suspicious really, I mean how often do you wake up in nothingness and see objects floating in front of your face?
It was there; glistening a comforting gold, pocket watch.
Seriously guys I'm so sorry that I haven't updated in so long, I've been so caught up in school work and I've had a pretty tough year. But chapters are coming! I promise!
