"How..." I was awestruck. Libby?! But she was the Mutant in disguise the last time I encountered him! How was she here?!

"You know this girl?" asked Feedback.

"I sure do," I explained. "She's my friend. But she turned out to be the Mutant. He tricked me into coming here so he could kill me!"

"It's not her fault you were a nincompoop back then," the Mutant laughed. "You were just a stupid kid."

"Doesn't matter now. You and your friends are not going anywhere," said Mr. Fear. "I'll be free of this world, and you will not stop me."

"You can't get out of here!" shouted the Gazelle. "You're a comic book character!"

"No I am not." Mr. Fear smiled as he said this. "I too was trapped. Trapped by a book writer a long time ago. And it's thanks to the reversed engineered Green Beam that I can finally get out."

"Just what are you?!" screamed the captive Diana.

"Here, let me show you." He snapped his fingers and the floor in front of us spontaneously combusted! A barrier of fire burst in front of us. Mr. Fear started to walk back into an elevator with the Mutant following. "Frightmare, Libby," he said. "Keep them busy. I don't want them interrupting my experiment." The Mutant grinned as the elevator closed.

"I do hope you enjoyed the tour of my lair," he said. "But this concludes the part where you stay alive!" The elevator door closed.

Libby and Frightmare jumped onto the floor and walked through the fire. They both looked at us all with determined evil. But I was not afraid. I would not be swayed by Libby any more! "I've been waiting for this moment of payback for a long time," I shouted at Libby. "You won't stop me!"
