"Now where do we go?" asked the Gazelle as we entered another hallway.

"Somewhere here," Molecule Man replied pointing to another stairway. "I think this is the way to the roof and to where the green beam is."

"You think or you know?" Molecule Man glared at the Gazelle before shaking his head.

"What about Dinah?" seethed Flo.

"We'll save her if we find her first."

"That doesn't sound so convincing," Feedback said, and I nodded with him.

"LOOK!" Molecule Man shouted at us all. "I am trying to help you! I do want to save Dinah! Just stop bugging me like I'm a nuisance! I know what I am doing!"

I tried to keep up with the rest of the heroes, but it was pretty hard to keep up with Molecule Man's rushed pace. I can't say I blame him. What with Ale-my apologies-Libby, Mr. Fear, Frightmare, and the Masked Mutant, this certainly one hell of a team up of villains.

"Do you have any idea how we're stop Mr. Fear's Horrifyer, whatever that is?" I asked Molecule Man. He shook his head.

"I...I have no idea. I didn't look to see if there were any off switches or passwords or anything of the sort. And don't say I'm hopeless," he added to the Gazelle.

I was about to say something when, wouldn't you know it, the wall flew right at me and punched me into a hole on the other side of the corridor! I really had no idea where I was now. It was some kind of lab, I think, and there were tanks of all sorts of mysterious colorful liquids in them and a few sample of...ugh! A hairy foot, an eyeball with a vertical pupil, a bunch of sharp teeth, a zombie's head, a mummy's hand and all sorts of disgusting body parts that could have belonged in a Halloween decoration store! "What is this place?" I thought to myself. I noticed some cameras mounted in two corners of the room. Better dispose of them with my stretchy fists. I did just that, but that's when I wondered, what if I could view some of the footage that just went on in here. I crossed the room found what I was looking for: a computer. Let's hope there's still some film footage in here. Bingo! Now I just have to buffer the video and...here it is. It looks like DINAH! So this is where those creeps took her! I watch, helpless as the video showed a cannon-like weapon pointed at her and fire. Dinah writhed in agony as beams in different shades of green rained down on her. My helplessness changed to horror as I watched her begin to roar. He muscles bulged and expanded, her clothes shredded to pieces, hair grew all over her body and her bottom incisors grew out from her lips. No...wha...they turned Dinah into a Bigfoot?! "Tha-that," I stuttered. "They turned Dinah into a monster?! That's impossible!"

"Not for Mr. Fear," the Mutant's voice announced over a PA system before Mr. Fear's took over, "Do not fear, Skips. The transformation doesn't hurt. Much."

Suddenly, I felt myself being vibrated all over and my vision blurred. The next thing I knew, I was outside and on top of a roof! This is where I am supposed to be!

"Besides," I heard Mr. Fear's voice say. "I think you'll enjoy being a monster." I slowly turned and faced my two enemies: the Masked Mutant and Mr. Fear.

"Well, I don't care what happens," I snarled. "You won't get-"

"Away with it?" Mr. Fear laughed and said, "I already have. I just sent Dinah to deal with your pesky friends. She'll either tear them to pieces or be beaten to a pulp by her own teammates. Either way, she's doomed." No! "There is a chance to save her." He pressed a button and a hole in the floor emerged. "That hole," he said. "Will take you to the floor where Dinah-Squatch is going to go ape on your friends. You can either stay and beat me and stop my plan while Dinah is destroyed. Or you can go and save her, let me proceed with my plan and watch as I turn your world's population into that of monsters!"

Choices...choices...save the world...sacrifice a friend...save a friend...leave the world vulnerable...I...can't...choose..."I'm stopping you later, Fear," I warned. "But I will stop you."

"How noble," the Mutant snickered. "Nobility is sorely overrated with you heroes."

I jumped in and landed on a lumpy mattress on the floor. A mattress that can talk! "YOU GET OFF!" It was my friends! "Guys!" I cried! "Listen we have to get to the rooftop now!"

"Isn't that where we're all going?" asked Molecule Man with dry sarcasm.

"No! I know what the Horrifyer is!" Everyone was all ears. "It's not just a monster maker, it turns people into monsters and Mr. Fear just tested it on Dinah!" Everyone was silenced by this discovery.

"A machine that turns people into monsters," Gazelle mumbled. "How can this be possible?"

"And what about that green beam?" asked Flo to me. "What does Mr. Fear want with it?"

"I think I might know now," Molecule Man said with a look of horror. "He said he wants to leave this place, right Skips?" I nodded. "Well, what if-"

Boom! He was interrupted by a banging sound coming from one of the doors. Something big dented it from the other side. Something big and strong! Two more pounds later, a huge hairy beast loomed out of the hole, hooting like a crazed chimpanzee.

"That..." I stuttered. "That's Dinah!"

"Oh, man," groaned Feedback. "And I thought she needed to shave her legs before!"

"No time for jokes!" Gazelle shouted. "We have to calm her down!"

"Dinah," Flo soothed. "It's me, Flo. One of your best friends? We've known each other since-" SPLASH! Dinah punched her into the face. A puddle formed on the wall that materialized into a dazed Flo. "Oh, man. Anyone got a banana truck?"

Dinah screeched, hooted and pounded the ground, ready for a fight.

"Dinah!" we all cried. "NO!"

"And please don't throw poop!" pleaded Feedback.
