Hi guys long time no see. I am sooooooo sorry, I just haven't had the time lately. School got in the way and a whole bunch of stuff. Pulse no one reviewed, really guys? But don't worries I still love you guys. I am going to try to make this chapter good maybe some fluff, maybe some action. We will have to see what happens. So I'm going to go and I will see you guys after the chapter is done, oh one more thing I own nothing.

(Sam's POV)

I stood at my locker stuff my bag full of the things that I needed to complete my homework however my mind was in a completely different setting. I absently minded pulled thins out as my mind went over what happened this past week. And let me tell you a lot has happened. First I had a killer math test, they ran out of my favorite salad, I almost killed the banshee, and oh yea Danny found out my secret. But also something quite amazing happened I found out Danny like me, and then he kissed me, and then he asked me out for today after school….. SHIT! I'm going to be late!

I was so lost in my own little world that I didn't even notice that the halls became disserted. I hastily zipped up my bag and took off running down the hall. I busted through the doors and jumped over the stairs not even slowing down. I bet to other people I looked like all of hell was chasing after me. My feet pounded against the side walk, the trees past by me in a blur, my raven hair fluttering behind me like a black veil.

Approaching the doors to the apartment building, I yelled as loud as I could to open the door. Thank the Gods that the doorman came to know over the short time that I have lived there. He opened the door just as I bounded up the steps. Racing through the doors I called a swift thanks over my shoulder, I could just barley hear him chucking to himself.

I jammed my thumb into the button to call the elevator. It looked like the spirits blessed me with luck today because the elevator was already on the ground floor. I dashed in and punched in my pass code. As soon as the code was entered the doors slide closed and started to climb into the sky.

I hunched over and placed my hands on my knees trying to catch my breath. Jezzum I really need to go to the gym I am out of shape. I stood back up just as the door slide open to my apartment. I walked out and kicked my shoes off and went straight to my room to change my clothes.

I stood in front of my closet wondering what the hell I was spouses to wear on a date. I have never been asked out. Something about me being royalty made me unapproachable or something like that. I picked out a short sleeved gray V-neck shirt with black thigh high shorts. I pulled on a bunch of thick black and purple bracelets. I ran a brush through my knouted hair, and then pulled on another pair on combat boots. Happy with my appearance I stepped out of my room and went to the living room to wait for Danny to call.

Ten minutes of flipping through channels on the picture device I heard the beeping of the video common singling someone was here for me. Switching the screen I saw Danny standing before the elevator waiting for me to let him in. I pressed the button allowing the elevator to open and bring him to my level.

I stepped back and watched the numbers above the door telling me what level the elevator was on. After only a few minutes of waiting the 'ding' of the elevator sounded through my home. The doors side open revealing a quite flustered Danny.

"Hey" I said

"Hi Sam, you look nice" he responded

We stood there for a minute. Just then the elevator doors started to slide closed. Danny yelped before he jumped through the closing door. However he must have over guessed his jump because the next thing I know I'm on the floor with a heavy object on top of me. I pried open my eyes and was met with baby blue.

"Ummmmm hey" he said

I giggled a little bit, but I could feel my face turning beat red.

"Hey" I responded

We just laid there for a moment staring into each other's eyes. I was slowly becoming uncomfortable. I open my mouth and said.

"Um Danny you mind getting off of me you're really heavy"

He seemed to snap out some trance and quickly got off me. He offered me his hand which I accepted and pulled me too my feet.

"Sorry about that" he said while scratching the back of his neck with a sheepish look on his face.

"It's ok really" I said slightly laughing

"Oh yea before I forget these are for you" he while pulling out an assortment of flowers from behind his back.

"Thank you" I respond

I took the slightly mushed flowers from his out stretched hand.

"If you want to go sit in the living room while I put these in a glass out water, then we can get going" I said while examining the flowers.

"Sure" he said

With that I made my way in to the kitchen and started rummaging in the cabinets for a tall glass to put the flowers in. After searching for a bit I was finally able to procure a glass that would fit the flowers. I walked over to the sink and filled the glass up. I stuck the flowers in and placed them on the island.

I exited the kitchen and went into the living room. There I found Danny sitting on the chair waiting for me.

"Ready to go?" I asked

"Yea" he said jumping up from the seat

"So where are we going?" I asked

"It's a secret" he responded

"Oh common at least give me a hint" I said giving him the puppy dog look.

I could see that he wanted to look away from my pleading look. I could see that I was slowly breaking him down. Finally he sighed and said.

"Fine I'll give you a hint" told you, nobody can resist my puppy dog face, "We have to fly there".

Now I am ashamed to say that I may or may have not started jumping up and down with excitement. What can you blame me the last time I got to fly I was trying to keep Herba under lock and key.

"Why didn't you say that sooner, come on lazy bones let's go!" I said coming to his side.

"Ok, ok" he said with his hands up in the 'I surrender' manner.

Just then a bright light flashed and two white rings appeared around his body changing him into his alter ego Danny Phantom. He put his arm around my waist and pulled me into his side.

"Ready?" he asked

I wrapped my arm around his waist and said "Ready"

With that Danny turned invisible and shot up through the roof. As soon as we cleared the building we became visible again and started heading off toward our destination.

I looked with aw at the town below us. It was lit by the rays of the dying day. We passed over yards filled with pools and barking dogs. I looked up and all but gasped. Danny's face was highlighted with the dying rays making him seem almost like a God. His face had an expression of complete happiness; he is contempt in the skies. It's almost funny in a way he a child of land and sky, me a child of the sea we shouldn't be together, yet here we are.

"Hey what are you looking at?" Danny's voice seemed to snap me out of my train of thought.

"Oh nothing, it's just really nice up here that all, flying's nice" I said looking down trying to hide the blush that made its way to my face staining it red.

I closed my eyes and just enjoyed feeling the warmness of the sun and the soft wind that blew on my face. A few minutes later I could feel us starting to descend. I opened my eyes and saw that we were in a crater of some kind. I could just hear the crashing of waves nearby. Danny set me down on the sandy floor of the crater. I looked over and noticed half of the area was taken up by a deep pool of clear blue water.

"Nice isn't it? I found this place when I was fighting a ghost. It hit me and I fazed through the ground and discovered it. See the water its feed through an underground warm spring. So in other words its"

"Not connected to the ocean" I finished for him. I couldn't believe it a body of water that's not connected to the ocean or my dad that nobody knows about.

"And your that only person who knows about this place" I said

"Yea you're the first person to know about this place, heck Tucker doesn't even know" he said.

Wow a private place where I could go swimming and nobody could see me.

"Here I want to show you something" Danny said

I followed him up this large rock like rap that came to a ledge that overlooks the water. There sitting at the top is a table and two chairs set up. Two covered plates were sitting on the table. My stomach growled, I didn't even notice I was so hungry. We sat down and Danny pulled the covering away. An intoxicating scent spilled out.

"I present vegetarian pasta" Danny said

I picked up a fork and dug in. I almost moaned when the exotic taste busted over my taste buds.

"I see someone like it" I head Danny say, all I could do was nod my head.

We spent most of the dinner sharing stories, me retelling my adventures under the sea. One of which was when I snuck away from the palace played a joke on some sharks. Long story short I was chased through an old battle ship and hiding in a room until they went away. Funny to hear, terrifying to live through.

When we finished dinner Danny stood up and proclaimed.

"I think it's time for a swim" with that he peeled off his shirt revealing a sculpted stomach and took off running to edge. He flung himself of the edge and landed with a great splash.

"Common Sam the waters fine" Danny called

"OK but you have to promise to turn around and DO NOT LOOK!" I called back

"Ok I promise" I could hear the water shift telling me that he turned around.

I sat down on the chair and started pulling off my clothes.

"I can't believe I'm doing this" I muttered to myself.

As soon as my shoes, socks, shorts, and underwear were off I quickly took off to the edge. I threw myself off and landed in the warm water. As soon as I hit the water I could feel my body changing. My leg fused together and grew black scales. The gills on my neck reappeared; in a few short moments I was back in my natural state, my true from.

"Ok you can turn around now" I said

Danny turned back around and I swear his eyes were about to slip out of his head.

"I don't think that I'll ever get used to that" he said swimming over toward me.

I lopped my arms his neck, his snaking around my waist. Our faces came closer and closer. I could fell the feather wind coming from his breath. I closed the gap and pressed our lip together for a short and tender kiss.

"And I don't think I'll ever get used to that" I giggled

He smiled and pulled me in for another kiss.

(Skulker's POV)

I sat near a ledge looking through my binoculars, watching the ghost child. I could feel my ectoplasm boil with the thought of him. I was the laughing stock of the Ghost Zone for weeks because of that little punk.

I sighed again and watched him swim around in an underground cavern. Suddenly something else splashed into the water. I refocused my binoculars on the object. What I saw startled me, there swimming in the water was a real mermaid. Even in the Ghost Zone they were nothing but urban ledges. How did the ghost child find one before I did?

I watched as he swam over toward her. But I was no longer focused on the child no I found something rarer, more exotic to hunt. I could feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins at the thought of a new hunt.

Yes my new prey will be the mermaid.

Dun, dun, dun Skulker has set his sight on Sam! Oh my I wonder what is going to happen. Oh wait I know what is going to happen on the other hand you guys don't heheheheh.
