Amaya's POV-

Day Two

I open my eyes, "Where I'm I?" I ask out loud, I turn my head to see white hair. 'Kakashi.'

"We're moving forward." Kakashi said and kept walking.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" I ask and Kakashi sets me down.

"That's because you went crazy in the middle of the night." Guy said and I give him a weird look, "Look at your left arm."

I slowly look at my left arm to see the once light blue sleeve was up black, as if someone through black ink at me. I thought back to my dream, I touch the dried up black liquid on my sleeve.

"Orochimaru." I hiss and pull out a kunai.

"Amaya! Calm down!" Guy yells and I cut into the sleeve tearing it off.

"I'm just cutting off the sleeve." I say throwing the black sleeve on to the ground.

"Your arm." Guy said staring at my arm.

I look at my left arm; the upper part of my arm looks like my skin is turning into scales or something. My skin was no longer pale, it was a fading black being the darkest where Orochimaru had given me the shot.

"Amaya." Kakashi said getting my attention, "What do you know about Orochimaru?" Kakashi asks.

I dig into my ninja pouch and pull out some medical things to wrap my arm, "I thought you knew." I say, 'He is an Anbu. He should know.'

"Wait. Know what?" Guy said rubbing the back of his head, "I'm confused."

"My mom was taken by Orochimaru." I said poking at my left arm that felt numb.

"What does that have to do with your arm?" Kakashi asks.

"I don't remember much that night." I said and start explaining what happened that night, how I saw my dad, my mom on the floor, the black liquid, and me getting a shot from that creep Orochimaru.

"We should go back to the gate and tell someone about your arm." Guy said, 'He looks really worried.'

"No. I have to complete the exam." I said walking forward.

"Amaya. Guy's right we don't know what your arm is turning into." Kakashi said.

"But I need to do this." I said, "After the exams I'll go and get it looked at, I promise."

Kakashi was about to argue but there was a loud noise, "We don't have time." I said taking off and they followed.

"Is that a snake?" Guy asks looking at the large animal ahead of us.

The snake lounges forward and we all move out-of-the-way. Kakashi makes some signs with his hand and a blue light appears in his hand. He hits the snake right in the neck. The snake hisses before falling over, I land on my feet.

"Let's keep going." I said jumping on a tree again.

Guy and Kakashi nod before following me, "Do we know how much further the tower is?" Guy asks and we all stop.

"I'll go higher in the tree to look." I said jumping up.

I reach the top of the tall tree and look around. 'Trees, trees, and more trees.' I could see in the distance a tower, 'It's so far away.' I look for land marks that could help us spot it, 'The trees look darker in that area.' I nod to myself and jump back down to Kakashi's and Guy's level.

"It's far away, and straight ahead. We'll know we're there when the trees turn darker." I said and Kakashi and Guy nod, 'I wish they would just tell me since they are chunin.'

"Right, let's go." Kakashi said and I and Guy follow him.

I'm glad nothing else got in the way, I try to force but I could help but think of my arm. 'I wonder if I'll have to cut it off. Will it kill me? Why did Orochimaru take my mom?'

"It's getting dark." Guy said and I look up at the darkening sky.

"Let's stay there." Kakashi said leading us to a couple of small tree that formed together to make a roof.

"Got it." I said and we all walk into the small room made of trees and twigs.

"I can take first watch." I offer, "I did get the most rest." I raise an eyebrow when Guy gets a worried look.

"Look Amaya." Guy says and glances at Kakashi, "It's not that I don't trust you but…you attacked Kakashi." He would continue but Kakashi stops him.

"Guy. She doesn't need to know." Kakashi said, my face pales.

"I attacked you?" I question.

"Kakashi, she needs to know." Guy said and Kakashi sighs, "Last night you started screaming and tried to kill Kakashi." Guy says and I let his words sink in.

"Is that true?" I ask Kakashi.

Kakashi didn't meet my eyes, "Yes." He said almost a whisper.

I look at my left arm, I felt so guilty, "I'm sorry." I said, "Were my eye b-black?" I ask.

Kakashi looks up at me with the same expression he had the day of the nine-tails attack, "How did you know?" He asks.

"I just guessed." I said, "I shouldn't keep watch then." I feel so useless.

"It's alright; Guy and I will take turns." Kakashi said and I give him a soft, sad smile.

"Kakashi you take first watch." Guy says and Kakashi goes outside.

I sit by Guy, "Did I say anything?" I ask, "Last night I mean."

"Amaya don't push yourself." Guy said and I bite my lip.

"I need to know." I said look him in the eyes.

Guy frowned a bit, "You said, 'your killing them!' and 'There all dead!'" Guy said softly.

"I see." I said, 'That's what my mom said. How do I save her?' "If I turn…into what ever that is, Guy." I said getting his attention, "I want you too…" I'm cut off by Guy.

"I'm not going to kill you." He said firmly.

"No you idiot! I don't want you to kill me." I huff, "Find a way to restrain me and look for a way for me to control it." I said.

"Alright." Guy said and after a monument of silent, "Kakashi is really worried about, Amaya."

I look outside to see Kakashi's back to us, "I'll make it up, for him." I said and watched Kakashi for a while. I start to drift off to sleep, 'Kakashi. I hope you know I never meant to hurt you…I love you…'

Day Three

I open my eyes slowly, as I felt a pair of hands shake my shoulders. I hum in response and sit up, rubbing my eyes. I see Kakashi look at me with tired eyes and I began to feel guilty.

"Good morning." I smile trying to lighten the mode.

"Morning." Kakashi said and he seems a bit happier.

"Let's go love birds!" Guy calls walking out and my face turns red.

"Did you tell him?" I ask whispering to Kakashi.

Kakashi shakes his head no, "We should through." He says whispering back.

"We'll tell him after the exams." I said walking after Guy, "I'm glad we have both scrolls." I said.

"Ya! Now we just need to use our youth to get to the tower." Guy smiles.

"Did I do anything?" I whisper to Guy who shakes his head, no.

'Good. I didn't dream anything either.' We walk in the forest; I look around wondering if anything would happen today. The day went by fast and I climb a tree again to see if we are closer to the tower. 'Good were almost there.' I come down and notice Kakashi and Guy were gone.

"Kakashi?" I call out walking forward, "Guy?" I look around, no one was here.

I feel something come up behind me and turn around, summon my blades just in time to block the on coming kunai. 'Paper bomb.' The blast sent me back but I some how land on my feet. I look around but don't see anyone there; the dark night wasn't helping either.

'Where are they?' I block a plain kunai and back up into a tree. 'Damn I can't even see them.' I look around, 'Don't panic, Amaya!' I jump into the tree that I had backed into and climb higher and higher. I reach the top and see someone standing on top of the tree next to me.

"Who are you?" I ask and the person turns to me, I couldn't move, "How can it be? How are you here…Ky."
