Chapter 7

After a few minutes of running, Tifa finally opens the door to the rooftop.

At the rooftop, Zack turn around and face Tifa with a smile. "So you're no. 28. You win… then as for the prize, what do you want? Hmm… Cloud's secret? That's a good prize right? Then... Do you want to know Cloud Strife's secret?"

Tifa walks towards him with a serious face. "I'm not after the prize. But since I win… I have the right to asked you a question and you'll answer it as a prize right? I just want to know why you came back after this long year. What's with that change of attitude? I know we can't tell what you're thinking but… its different from before? It's like you want me to separate with Cloud. What do you want really?"

"Based on the rule, it's my responsibility to answer that." Zack then laugh. "I really expect that you'll asked that question when you win this truth and trust game." Zack then smile but a trace of seriousness can be seen in his eyes "do you really want to know?"

"You said it's your responsibility to answer"

"Before I answer you, I want to know… do you really believe in Cloud?"

In surprised, Tifa blush slightly, "What kind of question is that... O-Of course! I trust him more than anyone else" Zack suddenly touch her face.

"Its easy for you to say… but what if... The one you believe the most is the one who hide something about the real you? Will you keep trusting that person?"

With a confuse face, Tifa asked, "What are you talking about?"

At that time, Cloud came out from his hiding place and pulled Tifa away from Zack.

"The game is over." Cloud said as he grabs Tifa's hand and started walking away from Zack.

Tifa suddenly stop walking and look at Zack as she returns Cloud's hold, also holding his hand. She the shouted,"I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE SITUATION REALLY IS… But then even with that things you said, whether its true or lie, I'll keep on trusting him", she grip harder. "Even when everything begins to fail and he pretends that its okay, I'll keep on trusting him. Even when he continues to lie about the truth, I'll be by his side and keep on trusting him. For me, that what trust is… its not all about the truth. Its about believing in the good lies for every truth that he hides. It's understanding each other!" Tifa then pull the shock Cloud away.

Zack, still in the rooftop, widen his eyes as his serious look became a smile., "So… I'll just have to trust her and keep trusting them…"

Aerith the walks towards Zack and continueeating her bread and then nodded to him.

As Tifa walks with Cloud, Tifa thought "is he referring to Cloud?... even if that's the case… I'll keep trusting Cloud no matter what."

Cloud on the other hand, Smile and thank her silently.
