NOTE: The non-italic parts are Tifa's lines/thought and what's happening to Tifa. While the italic parts are the parts that she's seeing.

CHAPTER 9

"Where am I?" tifa opened her eyes and then look at her surrounding. It is creepily familiar to her and confuses her. At her side, a kid, a girl which Tifa thought greatly resemble her, suddenly appears. She tried to put her hands on the kid's shoulder but she can't as if her hand passes through the kid's body. She tried calling to the kid but its as if it cant hear Tifa.

"She can't see me nor touch can I touch her… is this a dream? Then, why is this kid look a lot like me?"

"Mom! Dad!" the kid said.

Mom? Dad?

"Tifa!?" the older woman said. "You're so excited to star gaze that you went to daddy's office?"

That woman called that kid Tifa…. Me?

"yes! I want to see the stars as soon as I can! I figure out that if I go here, then we can go straight stargazing!" the kid answered happily.

"lets go to Daddy, shall we?"

Then suddenly, a gush of wind blows that made Tifa close her eyes. When she opens it, she's sees different scenery. Her surrounding changes. "I know this place… where have I seen this?" Tifa said as she stares at the corridor.

"Oh… here's your dad!" the woman said.

It startled Tifa as the kid and the woman passed through her body as if she didn't exist.

"Daddy! Daddy!" the kid called out as she rushes and embraces the man who came out from the door at the nearest door. It has a sign 'president's office'

Tifa's eyes widen as she remembers the corridor. "W-what's this? Just l-like the Strife Building… does Cloud have a sister?"

"My little princess is really excite!" the man pats the kid's head as she embraces him and smiles warmly at the kid.

"I guess Mr. president is also excited!" the woman walk towards them with a warm smile.

Dad? President? What the hell is this?! What's my connection with them!

"I wish Cloud is here too!" the kid said happily! "he loves the night sky!"

Tifa's train of thought was cut when she hears the kid's words. " Is she talking aboubt Cloud? that kid knows Cloud?" Tifa asked in disbelief. The surrounding changes again much to Tifa's surprised. She close her eyes then when she opens it, she was outside of the building staring at it wide eye. "Lockhart… company?" She the look at her side and saw the kid and her parents chatting happily as they go out of the building.

The surrounding changes again. It was now inside the car in a rainy day. The man drives and beside her is the woman. The kid stares outside the car.

"I hope, it'll stop raini-…." The woman turns to the kid then spoke but Tifa cant hear what the woman is saying. The woman then turns to the man beside her then spoke again. The man then spoke too as if answering the woman then turns to woman then smiles.

"What's happening? Why can't I hear them now?" Tifa then look in front and saw an incoming fast speeding truck. ,"NO! Hey! Look ou-!" before she can finish, the car bumps into the truck. The last thing Tifa saw before she close her eyes is the kid's eyes full of fear as it closes. Tifa then opens her eyes and found herself infront of the accident outside the car. There is blood all over the place. She tried to shout for help but no one answers to Tifa's call.

As Tifa tries to walk further to search for anyone who can help, The scenery changes again.

"it changes…. Again?,….. hospital?... the kid!" Tifa turns frantically and saw the kid lying in a bed full of machines which are attach to her. Suddenly, the door opens and shocked her. "Cloud!? A-Auntie?" It was a child Cloud and his mom.

"Tifa!? What's her condition?" Cloud's mother asked the doctor.

"She's lucky to survive that accident, her vitals are stable now but we still don't know the full effect of the accident on her until she wakes up.…"

"Please take good care of her… where's her parents?"

"I'm afraid that her parents were dead on arrival."

Huh… I don't understand…. Cloud knows her… and he's…. little….

The situation then changes. Tifa saw the kid Cloud beside the kid in her bed. The kid then slowly opened her eyes. Cloud quickly stood and call the doctor.

After the doctor examines the kid which Tifa cannot hear again, it leaves with a sad smile. As the doctor leave, Cloud and her mother look closely at the kid.

"W-Who am I?" the kid asked.

"Your name is Tifa. Tifa Lockhart."

"Ti-fa…. Lock-hart…" the kid repeated quietly.

Tifa put her hands in her mouth, "It….. Its….. Its…." Tears starts leaking from her eyes. "my forgotten past…."
