Kevin is befriending Chomper and explaining why he and the others are helping him plus might have found a good home for him with Gru's therapist friend from the AVL.

"Why're you helping me guys?

You guys are like family unlike me and my brothers." Chomper said waking up later as Kevin was watching the injured Purple Minion.

"Because we're family and family stick together." the Purple Minion told Chomper.

One thing bothered Chomper looking at him, since his brothers had been cured by the abridote in the jelly.

"Yeah when they tried the antidote, it didn't work and the others were afraid of me but I proved them wrong showing them I'm still the same on the inside.

I know you are good too, if people showed you guys love." Kevin said to him.

Chomper understood seeing Kevin clutch his ears knowing that they still hurt after when Agnes had screamed making him understand.

"Do your family notice about your ears?" Chomper said to him.

"No as I keep it to myself." he said.

Unknown to him, Nefario had overheard and wanted to examine Kevin's ears seeing Chomper asleep approaching Kevin seeing him drink soda.

"So you having trouble with your ears?" he said.

Kevin was letting him examine them and stunned that they were damaged from that scream Agnes had done and he needed help.

"I have a feeling you didn't tell Gru but we'll help you.

You care about Chomper huh?" he asked.

"Yes as he needs help plus a good home and I have an idea about this.

Remember Gru's therapist friend?

She might be the perfect owner for Chomper, since she understands how he feels." Kevin said as Nefario understood.

"That's very sweet of you since maybe he could help her." Nefario said.

Kevin agreed seeing his brothers especially Dave join them and anxious to hear what was going on since they'd heard Gru mention Riff, their therapist who had helped after the whole El Macho thing but some of them still had bad dreams.

"How's he doing?" Dave asked.

"He's still in a cast guys but we will help him.

Riff too." Kevin said to him.

They saw Riff there since Gru had called her, as she saw Chomper asleep feeling bad for him after hearing what had happened knowing Gru could help but she wanted to help Chomper feel better.

"He was on the doorstep the other night and we took care of him." Phil said to her.

She saw Chomper loo9k curious at her because he'd never met a human like her.

"This is Riff, a Minion therapist who helped us after the El Macho thing." Kevin said.

Chomper nodded shyly but was scared making Riff understand knowing he wasn't ready.

Kevin saw fear in his eyes making him understand stroking his purple hair.

"It's gonna be okay since you'll get better and get a good home, with somebody who cares about you like our Dad." Kevin assured him.

"Maybe but I don't want another home, and after I get better, I'm out of here." he said.

Kevin saw the girls playing in here especially Edith making him and the others anxious because they had been hiding Chomper from the girls because of what he'd done but saw the ten year old in awe.

"When Dad finds out you're hiding this guy, you're toast!" she said.

"Edith he already knows plus he's had a rough time like you and your sisters when you were at Miss Hattie's." Kevin said making Edith sigh seeing that Chomper was sad especially in the cast since she'd broken her arm a couple of times doing stunts knowing being in a cast wasn't fun.

She then grabbed manga pens drawing on the cast making Kevin smile since the tough girl understood.

"Let's not tell your sisters okay?

Agnes was freaked after I bit her unicorn and Margo would be mad." Kevin said.

"Sure." she said hearing Gru call her.

The other Minions smiled seeing the girls playing and goofing around but noticing that Edith and Kevin were whispering about something unaware it was about Chomper and saw the girl go to the lab with a hot fudge sundae hoping Chomper would like it since Kevin cared about Chomper and wanted to help him feel better, seeing Chomper awake and scared of Edith.

"You don't have to be scared Chomper besides I know what's it like to be treated mean, since my sisters and I lived at Miss Hatie's Orphanage." she said as Chomper was listening to the girl while eating understanding she'd been the one who'd drawn on his cast.

"Tankyu." he said softly.

"You're welcome as it's okay." Edith said.

They were talking but saw Gru there smiling that one of his kittens were being nice to Chomper seeing it was their bedtime as Edith sighed hugging Chomper gently.

Kevin saw Chomper smile a little which stunned him.

He hoped that Riff could help Chomper out.
