Here's more of the story and hope that MitzvahRose likes since I felt bad for not updating this over Christmas.

In this chapter, while Edith is making friends with Chomper, an new member of the family, Lara Nefario arrives since her Mom has to go away for a while and Nefario is Lara's blood relative.

That next day, Kevin was quiet after what Dave had told him from when Chomper had told him and Edith about his past since he cared about him but would protect him from El Macho growling at that.

"What's wrong Kev?" Gru asked him.

"Chomper told us about his past a little, that El Macho raised him and his sisters as pups the way you raised us, well took us in." the Purple Minion said making Gru stunned.

"I see but the guy needs help." Gru said.

Dave nodded seeing Edith had gone down to the lab knowing she wanted to hang with Chomper but keep him company unaware that Nefario's niece, Lara was coming to stay which he knew about from Nefario.

"When is she coming, abd does Uncle Nefario know?" Margo asked at breakfast.

"She's coming soon and he does know.

He had to clear it with me but you'll like her." Gru said.

Agnes was playing with Phil and her fluffy unicorn which Gru thought was adorable.

He then went down to the lab gearing Edith talking and the sounds of excited Minions realising she was showing karate moves.

Chomper was impresed by the girl's energy since it matched his but sighed.

Unknown to him, El Macho had a tracking device planted on him and the others meaning he or Antonio could find them.

"That's really cool and maybe when I'm better, you can teach me those in case El Macho comes back." he said making the girl confused.

"Edith, what's going on here?" Gru asked.

"Just playing Dad, you know?" she said.

They then heard voices from upstairs making the Minions very curious and Gru instructed them to stay until he got back making Edith smile.

"Let's blow up stuff!" she said excitedly.

Dave agreed with her since he liked doing this but Chomper saw Kevin stay but quiet knowing Dave had told him about last night.

"Don't worry about me as I can handle myself." he said.

He understood since after the antidote hadn't cured him, he'd acted tough and bitter until Dave and Gru helped him feel better so now he could make Chomper feel better on the inside.

"This is Lara, my niece who just got here so make her feel welcome okay?" Nefario said as they were in the lab later but the ten year old red head was shy, since she didn't have many friends because of being advanced mentally beyond her peers but she smiled seeing the Minions.

Nefario was happy they were breaking the ice with her since her mother read her the e-mails he sent them hearing her giggle at their antics and was curious seeing Chomper making Kevin understand.

"Uncle Nefario are these two purple beasts your pets?

They don't look like any Minions I've seen before." she said.

"Chomper is a Purple Minion.

I guess your Mom didn't tell you about El Macho huh?" Nefario said.

Lara shook her head.

He was happy because that had been his lowest moment working for El Macho even though his family had forgiven him.

Gru saw her playing leaving her be as Nefario was getting Chomper's painkillers knowing he still felt remorse for what had happened, despite the fact he had fixed it knowing having Lara here would help him feel better.

He then heard an explosion seeing Dave chuckle sheepishly as Edith was with him making Gru sigh.

"It was his idea!" the girl said naking Dave annoyed.

"Just go get cleaned up!" he ordered as Edith left.

Lara was curious watching Chomper asleep but Kevin didn't trust her making a protective shield in front of him but Nefario sighed.

"I just wanted to stroke him because he looks cute, like a stuffed animal." she said leaving.

Kevin sighed not caring if he scared her making Nefario concerned.
