"Lori..."

At first Lori believed she heard Boone calling her from a foggy haze. His warm comforting voice calling out to her. Fighting, she tried stumbling through this thick cloud, arms out stretched helplessly calling out for him. In just a matter of seconds, the voice changed, going deeper and sending a chill straight up her spine. The voice sounded like a corpse, it's voice menacing, and echoing out to her. Freezing, she heard the voice engulf her, a slight chuckle as it toyed and payed with her.

"Lori..."

In just an instant flashes came upon her, like a camera snapping off like the speed of lighting. Before her large frightened eyes she saw Boone, Dr. Decker, the gates of Midian, the monsters and creatures from below, the trees rocking back and forth like skeleton hands beckoning her. She saw Peloquin's flashing blue eyes, how his monstrous face transformed as he pinned her down, tentacles flapping as he drove himself into her like a wild animal. His fangs, the pain, the darkness. Her swollen stomach, feeling herself get torn apart. Screaming to the nurses and doctors "AM I GOING TO DIE?!"

Finally she awoke, by the sound of crying. A built in mental instinct knowing instantly that it was Parker in the other room, crying out for her. Her eyes snapped open and there, laying face to face with her was him. She laid back, too terrified to scream. Her clothes were torn, useless rags torn into sheds around her. Her naked body was pinned beneath his cold lizard like skin. She still remembered the sickening weight that held her down those years ago in the cemetery. Staring up, she went to scream before Peloquin slapped his large hand against her lips, shutting off any noise or air. Stiffening a muffled scream, she began struggling beneath him, trying to move her body.

They were in her bedroom, somehow they had gotten back here. His coat was off, and his stained faded shirt open, his slacks down. He was inside of her, she could feel him pulsing member buried deep inside her. The pain was exactly as she remembered. Peloquin closely studied her face, his wild blue eyes looking her up and down.

"I knew I would find you..."

Lori continued staring up at him with huge frightened eyes, all the while hearing her daughter scream and cry in the other room. Peloquin leaned down, his purplish blue tongue darting out, licking her face. Smelling his warm breath, Lori uttered from beneath his hand a gagging noise of disgust as he pushed himself further into her, spreading her legs painfully apart. Setting his weight against her, he smiled, seeing the control he was having over her. "I told you...we belong together." He thrusted upward, causing Lori's entire body to stiffen. Her back arching with the pain, she stared up in complete shock as his claws dug deep into her bare skin as he began to find a rhythm. Within seconds, she found herself being driven toughly back into her bed.

Peloquin continued pumping into her with lighting speed, raping her all over again. Hearing her baby's cries, instantly the strangest feeling overtook her. A feeling and strength she didn't think was possible. Within seconds, her green eyes turned a terrible gold, wild looking like an animal. Growing, she felt fangs within her own mouth as she felt a swirling mist surround her. Peloquin snapped his eyes shut, growling as he climaxed inside of her again, burying his seed deep within her. Outraged and wild, Lori roared from beneath his hand and finally found the inhuman strength to push him off. Taken off guard, Peloquin watched as the Nightbreed transform her.

Screaming, she threw him off as she landed to her feet, her hands like claws as she attacked. Peloquin as faster, and stronger and quickly recovered from being taken off guard. The two circled in the small bedroom like wild animals about to fight when suddenly Parker's cries came from the other room, causing Lori the fatal mistake of glancing in that direction. Shoving her back, Peloquin ran and disappeared within seconds. Screaming, Lori lunged down the hallway and spun into the nursery before freezing. She saw Gladys' sprawled out body in the hallway, throat torn open, a large puddle of blood beneath her. Ignoring her, she nearly slipped in her bloody before looking inside the nursery.

Peloquin stood next to Parker's crib, holding the baby. Parker stared up at the heidious monster with curious eyes. Lori couldn't believe it, but she wasn't scared, or even showing any signs of crying. Instead she stared up, looking up at Peloquin as he held her against his chest. Lori could all ready feel her power leaving her out of pure and utter fear for her daughter.

"Peloquin."

She said, trying not to let her voice crack. Peloquin ignored her, instead he stared down in complete and utter amazement down at the baby. His baby, his only child. Part human, part night breed. Lori hated to admit it, but whatever way she was conceived, Parker was by far one of the most beautiful creatures she ever laid eyes on. She knew this wasn't because she was hers, but simply because she had been born so pure, so beautiful, so perfect. Nothing like the monster that had put her inside of Lori.

Trying not to show how scared she was, Lori gripped the doorway and watched. Again she tried.

"Peloquin...please give her to me..."

Peloquin lifted his eyes and stared at her.

"When I was human...before...I always wanted a family, children."

"Peloquin, please put her down...take me..."

Peloquin chuckled, and leaned down and much to Lori's surprise gently kissed the top of Parker's head. Lori waited, on edge ready to run at him but instead she watched as he gently stroked the baby's back and stared at her.

"She's mine."

"Peloquin, please...stop...take me..."

"She's night breed."

"No she's not. She's just a baby...please..."

Peloquin looked Lori up and down, his eyes flashing slightly.

"Will you be mine?"

"Anything just please, give her to me."

"You know where to find me."

With that, Lori's eyes widened as he turned and within just mere seconds, jumped out the window, the howling wind blowing back to her. Screaming, Lori ran to the broken window and looked out at the city below, and the darkness. Screaming, she called for Peloquin but knew he was gone. The cold wind hit her tear stung cheeks as she looked out. Slowly, she back up, having no idea what to do.

Later...

She knew if she called the police they wouldn't believe her. All ready she knew exactly what Peloquin had done. She was a ticking time bomb, and didn't have long before going after them. If she called the police, even saying she found Gladys like this and they took her baby there would be an investigation, she wouldn't be left alone. Hours even counted at this point. Staring down at her friend, her heart broke, Taking her bedroom rug, she struggled as she rolled her limp body onto it and pushed with all her might before rolling her up. She would have to figure out what to do with her body after she got Parker back. If she did.

"No Lori..."

She cursed herself for even thinking that way. Looking at the blood she frowned, she had no time to clean it up. It had been ten or so minutes since Peloquin had taken Parker, and she awaited at any second for the front door to be kicked down by the police. Waiting for neighbors to call them from the noises and screams. Instead, there was nothing. She knew this loft was filled with people, and maybe just wishful thinking her neighbors had either been out or just simply didn't care. Whatever the point was, she figured the faster she left the better if case anyone did show up. Running to her bedroom, she grabbed jeans, boots, and a blouse. She was sore, and bruised all over, claw marks up and down her arms. Dressing in a hurry, she grabbed her leather jacket and checked her reflection. Instantly she stared down at herself, her hands slipping over her flat stomach before for just a mere moment tears welled up in her eyes. Running out, she grabbed her keys before glancing in the kitchen.

Grabbing a butcher knife, she grabbed her purse and locked the door behind her. Once inside the parking garage she kept expecting someone to jump out at her. Instead she got into her car, started the engine, and floored it onto the street. Trying as fast as she could, she took the exit that took her up North. Clutching the steering-wheel she kept thinking of that bastard with her little girl. She would rip him into pieces before he touched her again. As she drove, a terrible feeling began to stir inside of her. Glancing down, she knew it was all ready starting again.

She prayed she would have time to stop it.
