L.A. News Flash
Meredith was back in L.A. and it was the day before the anniversary of September 11th attacks. It was early in the morning and Meredith was up as early as she was to go to an audition for a movie. The news was on in the background for the sake of having some noise. Meredith wasn't really paying attention to it in the slightest.
It was only a few minutes in the news cast when Meredith actually started to pay attention to it.
"When we come back from break our very own Jillian Getters will give you the latest from New York and L.A.'s celebrity scene." the main anchor said.
The morning news took a commercial break.
After the break; the news came back on and the entertainment reporter; Jillian Getters was at the news desk with the two anchors.
"Let's start off in the entertainment capital of the West Coast…."
Meredith was hoping that she would be mentioned in the entertainment report this morning.
"Meredith Castle was sighted last night at the night clubs promoting her latest movie. Rumor has that there is also something else on the horizon for Meredith should be looking forward to."
"When we come back from break; Jillian will have the rest of the entertainment scoop for you." the second anchor said.
Three minutes later the news report was back again.
"Over on the East Coast in the city that never sleeps things are heating up…"
Meredith was wondering where things were going with the report.
"It looks like things are heating up within mystery author Richard Castle's family. Just the other day; Castle's wife, Captain Katherine Beckett - Castle and their daughter; Alexis Castle - Bausch at one of the many bars within Manhattan. We were able to confirm that in nine months' time; Richard, Katherine and Meredith along with Alexis' in -laws will have a new grandson or granddaughter."
Before she left for her audition; Meredith wasted no time when it came to calling her ex-husband to confirm what she had just heard on the news.
