The Renewal
The day had come for the renewal. When Castle, Beckett and the kids had arrived at the house in The Hamptons; Beckett was completely surprised. Martha and Lanie who were already at the house escorted Beckett, Johanna Martha and Kat up to the same room Beckett had eleven years ago. Castle took the boys with him up to the room he had gotten ready in on their wedding day.
"Why isn't Lexis in here with us?" Kat asked.
"Why is Lexis here? She should be with the girls." James Royce said.
The adults smiled.
"Alexis is Daddy's best man; that's why she's not in here with us." Beckett responded.
"Alexis is your Dad's best man." Espo answered his nephew.
Martha helped her young granddaughters get ready for the renewal while Lanie helped Beckett. Over in Castle's room; Alexis helped her father while Ryan and Espo tagged teamed the boys and getting them ready.
The guests were seated.
Castle was escorted down the aisle by his three daughters after Ryan and Espo had walked down. Lanie walked down herself. Martha was taken to her seat by Jim. After that JJ and James Royce had the distinct honor of walking their mother down the aisle.
Beckett was just as beautiful in her mother's wedding dress as she had been eleven years ago.
The entire renewal ceremony was beautiful. The vows were just was phenomenal as they had been the first time around.
After the renewal ceremony there was a huge party that followed. It was a tried and true Castle party. The party lasted well into the night.
As the party neared the end of it; Castle, Beckett and Jake had found Alexis and her siblings fast asleep together off to the side of the room where the party was being held. Martha came up afterwards and was smiling like her family. It was then that Castle and Beckett called it a night. Jake brought Alexis back to the house and to bed while his in-laws did the same with the kids.
