Rain started pouring down on the Pridelands, cleansing Pride Rock. Rafiki gestured to Simba to take his place as king, but before he did so, he turned down to Timon, Pumbaa, and Shenzi, who bowed formally at him, before he embraced them.
"I couldn't have done it without you guys," He smiled before pulling away, and marching up the promontory.
"That's our boy," Pumbaa said proudly and wistfully.
"I promised myself I wouldn't cry," Timon was on the verge of tears, before he burst into emotional sobs. Simba roared at the tip of the promontory, taking his place as king, with the rest of the pride roaring back.
Timon, Pumbaa, and Shenzi watched them, flushed with pride, as Max and Vitawny smiled broadly, and Ma beamed happily. They all gazed towards each other after it all stopped.
"You and Shenzi have come a long way, Timon," Ma hesitantly piped up, "Did you two find what you were looking for?"
"We found a place that was beyond our wildest dreams," Timon told her, "But it wasn't home." He took her hand, "Let's go home, Ma."
Later, they were at the Oasis, where Timon and Shenzi were showing it to Ma.
"Ohhh!" She breathed out in awe.
"Welcome to our new home," Timon said, "A predator-free environment. Besides Shenzi and Vitawny, but you know what I mean," He quickly added.
"I gotta hand it to you, you two," Ma smiled, "This place has everything!"
"Well, now that we're all here, it does," Timon pointed out.
Back in the inner jungle, Max was leading a group of meerkats, and Vitawny, in a session of Tai-Chi.
"Crane… spreads its wings… turns, with dainty hands," Max was slowly demonstrating his movements, as the meerkats copied them. Vitawny attempted to, but after wobbling around, she fell on her backside.
"Digga tunnah,
Dig, dig a tunnah," A chorus of meerkats sang as they in turn dove into the river,
"Never gonna dig another tunnah
Digga tunnah,
Dig, digga tunnah
Never more the jackals come!" Timon and Shenzi started dancing side-by-side, with Timon wearing a colorful bug hat, and Shenzi wearing her Hawaiian flower on her ear.

Max was relaxing in the hammock with a drink in his hands with Vitawny, as bugs showered around them, one of which landed in his drink. Smirking, Vitawny did a daring move: She lunged forward, and kissed Max in a surprise attack! Although initially surprised, he kissed her back, laying his right hand on her cheek, and his left on her back. She laid one of her little paws on the back of his right hand.
"Never dreamed they'd help Simba shine!"
"Proved it's cool to hang out with swine!" Pumbaa chimed in.
"Accidentally saved the day."
"Planned it so it would look that way!" Timon pointed to himself, as Ma and Shenzi were sitting at either side of him.
"And brought us out of the dirt and sand,
Led his family to the Promise Land!

Bravest meerkat and hyena we've ever known!"
After Timon, Ma, and Shenzi dove down waterfalls while perched on Pumbaa's head, they stopped in front of the waterfall and went underwater, where Timon and Shenzi swam up to shore back on him. After they emerged on Pumbaa, who was on Simba, they stood in the middle together as the song stopped, where Max and Vitawny joined them nearby on the bank. Max, Vitawny, Ma, and Pumbaa all smiled widely, knowing what they wanted to do. It was obvious; they were standing so close to each other, and facing each other!
"Come on now," Pumbaa teased them.
"You know you want to," Vitawny smirked from her place right next to Max. But they still hesitated, too nervous. Their lips would be no more than 2 inches apart, but they'd draw away. After scoffing in amusement, two meerkats came up behind them, and shoved them both forward, so their lips touched. After standing still in surprise, they slowly shut their eyes, as their lips puckered in a sweet kiss.
Timon tilted his head to the side slightly, as he laid his right hand gently on her cheek, and she laid one of her paws in the same place. Everyone smiled at the sweet, romantic scene.
"That's so romantic!" Pumbaa smiled, emotionally teary-eyed as they pulled apart after a few seconds. Truthfully, when he met them, he thought they were a romantic couple. It had been why he made 2 beds instead of 3.
The new couple smiled lovingly at each other like they were the important thing in their lives as all the meerkats all did their own thing.
"Well, that's it," Timon piped up in the audience, "The big wrap-up, the happy ending, the grand finale." Shenzi had dropped her head on his shoulder during their kiss, and he let her stay, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, and pulled her close to him.
"It's over already?" Pumbaa whimpered sadly.
"Well, Pumbaa, that's the thing about endings. They come at the end," Timon told him.
"Ooh, can we watch it again?" The warthog suddenly brightened up.
"Can we?" Shenzi pleaded, looking up at the meerkat.
"Guys, we just saw it," Timon told them, "Maybe tomorrow." He kissed Shenzi's head in her soft bangs as she pouted sadly.
"Hey, what are you guys doing?" Ma asked them as she came in, before she saw the screen, and gasped. "You didn't tell me you were watching the movie! I wanna watch too!"
"Ma, we just finished," Timon told her, "Show's over."
"Well, you're just gonna have to rewind it!" She insisted as she grabbed Pumbaa's remote, and started rewinding the movie.
"Ma!" Timon was getting frustrated.
"Uncle Max! Vitawny! We're gonna watch the movie!"
"Oh, no!" Timon covered his eyes in despair as Shenzi smiled broadly.
Max and Vitawny came in with a bag of popcorn. "Hey, we brought extra butter."
Then Simba came in, walking along the seatbacks. "Hey, you guys are watching the movie?" He asked them before Rafiki came in from above on some vines.
"Hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo! Any story worth telling is worth telling twice."
Then Mickey Mouse came in the room.
"What the…?" Timon said in confusion.
Then Snow White and the 7 Dwarves came in. "Oh, excuse me..."
"'Scuse me."
"'Scuse me."
"'Scuse me."
"'Scuse me."
"'Scuse me."
"Get outta the way."
"Who is this crowd?" Timon wondered aloud. They were soon followed by the Genie, Aladdin, Jasmine, who were on the magic carpet, Belle, the Beast, Mrs. Potts, her teacup son Chip, Lady, Tramp, and a hippo, who all sat in the front row. "Hey, down in front!" Timon exclaimed.
Goofy, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and Donald Duck were sitting in another row, where Stitch jumped along on their heads until he jumped in a vacant seat. Quasimodo, Pocahontas, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, and the Lost Boys sat in another row. Meanwhile, Timon was holding 2 large bodies apart to keep from himself and Shenzi being squashed.
"Watch it! Unnnh!" He strained. His row had Terk, Dumbo, Bre'er Bear, Mowgli, Baloo, the 3 gargoyles from Notre Dame, and the 3 fairy godmothers. Terk and Victor squeezed together, so Timon popped out from between them and landed next to Pumbaa. Soon after, Shenzi popped out, and landed in Timon's arms. "Okay guys," Timon gave up, "You win."
"Yay!" Shenzi cheered, as she kissed his cheek in joy.
"Okay, okay," The meerkat chuckled.
"Sure you don't mind?" Pumbaa asked him.
"Hakuna Matata," He assured him. Then 2 very familiar faces squeezed in.
"Banzai? Ed?" Shenzi's eyes widened her eyes in surprise.
"What are you fellas doing here?" Timon asked them.
"Watching the movie, of course!" Banzai said, followed by Ed's signature laughter.
"Uh, guys," Pumbaa started as the lights started going down, "I still don't do so well in crowds."
"Huh?" Banzai said bluntly.
