In thirty days, the entire family would be together again for Christmas. And now that everyone knew that Alexis was pregnant with twins; everyone hoped that she would carry Charlotte and Siobhan to full term.
Castle was already working on his dedication for the next Derrick Storm book.

Castle could hear Beckett and the kids discussing nicknames for the girls. From what he could tell from his office; the kids really wanted to have nicknames for their nieces picked out before the girls were born, but Beckett said that they should wait until the girls were born before nicknames were picked. It was clear that Johanna Martha, Kat, JJ and James Royce got their determination from Beckett.
Whenever the five of them were set in their ways like they were now; Castle just laughed.
"I like Charlie and Sio for the babies' nicknames." Kat said.
Johanna Martha agreed with her sister. Beckett emphasized yet again that they should wait so they could see their nieces first before they asked Alexis and Jake if the nicknames were okay with them.
The kids ignored Beckett and carried on. That they got from Castle without a doubt.
"Well I like Harlie and Von." JJ said.
James Royce agreed. Beckett was going to voice her stance again but she knew she was fighting a losing battle; instead Beckett went into Castle's office to see him. Seconds after wrapping her arms around her husband; Beckett saw the Derrick Storm dedication on Castle's laptop.
"Including Meredith in that besides myself and Jake's mom?" Beckett posed as a half question, half statement.
Castle wasn't what he should say.
"Ah….um…" Castle said stumbling on his words.
Castle knew this wasn't going to be pretty.
