Blake awoke at three in the morning, three hours before it was time to leave for the airport. Sighing, she stood quietly, doing her best not to wake Trinity. She walked to the door carefully, her footfalls making no noise. She made her way into the hallway and decided to go for a walk around campus.

"No one is awake at this hour so what's the harm..." She thought to herself as she started to walk toward the bathroom.

She went inside quickly doing her business then walked out and down the hall. She carefully traversed the stairs and made her way to the kitchen. Peaking in the door she was shocked to see Logan drinking from a mug looking out the window out onto the back lawn.

"Why are you awake at a time like this?" She asked him, taking a mug from one of the cabinets.

Pouring herself a mug of water from the kettle on the stove, adding a tea bag that was laying on the counter. She smirked as she could practically hear him roll his eyes.

"I was about to ask you the same thing!" He told her, not turning to look at her as she stepped up beside him, "I don't travel well, too many people hurrying, and the security is an issue for me, well for us... with the metal skeletons..." He told her taking a drink.

"Why am I telling you this..." He added with a sigh, to which she chuckled softly in response.

"Cause you trust me... you know that I understand how much this sucks sometimes..." She replied as she stirred her drink.

They both sat and drank their tea for several silent moments before the man finally spoke again.

"Is that my shirt?" He asked her, making her chuckle softly.

He merely shook his head before patting her shoulder awkwardly and heading off to bed.

Blake then decided to continue her walk around campus. When she reached the tube near the library she decided to go down into the Sub-basement and have a peak around.

After wandering the halls of the Sub-basement for a few moments she ended up in the hospital. There she saw the boy that Ruby had brought back from Weapon X lying still on a bed. She sighed softly and went to sit on the stool beside him.

"If it's any consolation to you, I know what you're going through!" She began looking down at him sadly, "My father and I were both a part of the fucked up little game that those… people…are playing..." She spoke again scowling at the idea that a human being did to her what had been done.

"I should probably go, but once you wake up, come look for Blake if you need to talk to someone..." She finished standing and stretching.

She then bid him goodnight before she returned to her room on the second floor.

The airport the next morning was absolute hell. In order to get Blake and Logan through the metal detectors Psyloche, who was also chaperoning with Storm and Wolverine, had to still the crowd long enough for them to slip through the sensors and get far enough away that the beeping would stop.

Then Ruby and Phoebe were arguing about a book and some ridiculous plot twist, which irritated Wolverine to the point that he literally smashed a coffee cup with his fist. This scared almost all the students who were with him. Phoebe, Jamie, and Ruby became speechless, Trinity and Bobby were trying not to laugh, and Blake was rolling her eyes and stating that she would go get him another cup. Shylow and Jean simply continued their conversation as if nothing had happened.

After making their way to the correct terminal (Wolverine had received more coffee at this point), Remy was teaching Blake how to lift a person's wallet when he felt a person bump him.

The man, who was tall and skinny, about forty years of age turned to apologize to him before walking through the crowd of students. Remy nodded before reaching down and feeling that a deck of cards had been lifted from his coat pocket. He went wide eyed and looked around to see if he could find the man who had seemingly disappeared.

"That was… odd!" Jean said with a small chuckle before an airline worker announced that it was time for the flight to start boarding.

Blake had never been on a plane apart from the jet but was doing surprisingly well for a new flyer. She had a headphone in one ear and was listening to music that Trinity had playing from her mp3 player.

She sat there with her eyes closed enjoying the peaceful quiet from the back set of seats when suddenly a thought occurred to her. Her eyes went wide, and she started fumbling with the seat belt that she had decided to just leave on, muttering something under her breath.

Meanwhile Bobby and Jamie had noticed this from across the aisle and realized what was happening. Bobby reached over and tapped Trinity on the arm. When she turned to ask him what was up, he pointed to her roommate, and she joined the group in watching for a moment before deciding to try and help the other girl.

"Blake calm down!" She said with a chuckle.

The Feral girl turned and looked at the three others with wide eyes.

"I can't fly!" She started, "You can fly because of your, you know… but I can't!" She added, shaking as she still struggled with her belt.

She was careful not to use the word mutation since there were people besides the students and chaperones on board. Trinity laughed and rolled her eyes.

"You are going to be fine!" Trinity tried to reassure her, but she just shook her head violently in response.

"Gravity works you know… I'm not gonna die getting thrown through the air in a metal tube just because the rest of you people think it's a good idea!" Blake told her blonde roommate who was starting to look worried.

"Shylow we might need your help back here!" Jamie told the Psychic who was sitting directly in front of Bobby.

He turned and rolled his eye when he saw his friend having a moment in the very back of the plane. He sighed and stood up from his seat on the aisle.

Walking over, Shylow placed his hand on her forehead, so that it was as if he was looking into her mind with his eye.

"Go to sleep!" He told her and suddenly she dropped back into the seat, eyes closed and breathing steadied.

She remained that way for the rest of the flight.
