When the blonde girl hesitated Bobby turned around to face her. He shouted for her to go and to hurry. Tabitha rushed out the door and down the hall to find Storm.
After the door swung closed slowly the Ice mutant turned back to look at his girlfriend, who looked as though she had small flames burning in her eyes.
"It's gonna be ok Phoebs…" he told her slowly, coating himself in a thick layer of ice and slowly reaching out to touch her face.
Then before she could stop him, Phoebe felt a rush of thermal energy flow through her and out her fingers, toes and mouth sending her flying backwards. Bobby went sailing backwards through the air and hit the door hard. They both blacked out within seconds, Bobby's ice armor melting away to reveal large deep burns scattered across his skin.

When Tabitha returned with the three chaperones who had been out lounging beside the pool, she quickly reached to open the door but was quickly stopped by Psyloche.
"Tabitha wait!" She said grabbing the student by the arms and gently pulling her away from the door.
"But they could be in trouble!" Tabitha responded quickly.
"They are both unconscious and Robert is lying against the door, I think I can lift him away though!" She told the two teachers and silencing the worried student.
She closed her eyes and carefully concentrated on Bobby, lifting him from the ground gently and moving him to lie on Tabitha's bed with her thoughts. Just as Storm moved to open the door, Kitty and Piotr came walking up quickly looking very confused.
"Kitty, Peter, stay back!" Storm told the two students who had just arrived while Psyloche guided Tabitha over to them.
Storm and Wolverine entered the room and each went to check on a student calling back to Psyloche for her to come in.
"Betsy call Chuck and Hank, they need to come pick them up so we can get them to the hospital back at the mansion…" Logan told her turning away from Phoebe's unconscious form.
Psyloche grabbed the phone on the bedside table quickly dialing out and calling the Professor.

An hour later Professor Xavier and Psyloche had stilled all activity inside the hotel and outside within a mile of the area long enough for Beast and Wolverine to carry Bobby and Phoebe out of the Hotel. They took them to the vehicle that would take them to the location where the Jet was waiting. Once they had vacated the scene and Betsy had moved to find Kitty, Tabitha, and Piotr. Storm quickly started calling students back to the hotel.
Once everyone had been located and brought back via taxi or was headed there on foot, Storm collected Blake, Trinity, Jamie, Ruby, and Kurt. She took them to a small garden that was located at the back of the hotel grounds. Shylow, Piotr, Tabitha, Kitty, and Evan were already waiting there with Wolverine.
"What happened to Phoebe and Bobby, are they ok?" Kitty asked Storm as the other students were ushered to sit.
Blake looked over at her father as if to ask the same question, he slowly shook his head.
"After Tabitha told us that Phoebe's core temperature was drastically rising, Beast was able to determine that she had a thermal overload and, in the process, Bobby must have tried to touch her…" Storm started look at her shocked students.
Jamie and Ruby went wide eyed and Tabitha, Kitty, and Trinity quickly covered their mouths in simultaneous gasps.
"Hank said that Bobby must have tried to help her lower her temperature and that her mutation used what was left of her energy to try and protect herself from what it viewed as a threat!" Wolverine added seeing his daughter as well as her other classmates growing more concerned, "The thermal energy created a shock wave that managed to knock them both unconscious, Chuck and Hank flew them back to the mansion so they can be monitored in the hospital and to treat a few burns Bobby received." He finished looking to Storm.
After giving them all a few minutes to process what had happened Storm spoke again.
"We felt that it would be better for this group to know what happened instead of keeping you waiting, but we are keeping this information a secret from everyone aside from the X-Men so please keep this under wraps until we return to the school!" Storm began explaining the situation to the students, "you are all free to go but all students are to stay at the hotel for the rest of the day, then you may resume your excursions tomorrow!" She told them before they all headed up to Jamie and Bobby's room where they all decided to have lunch.
When they arrived at the room Shylow pulled Trinity aside before she could go inside.
"We should go call Max and tell him what happened… He won't tell anybody if we ask him to keep it a secret." Shylow told her, she nodded in reply following Shylow to her room down the hall and quickly leaving the hallway.

The next day was fairly uneventful in comparison to the previous two. The group stayed behind at the hotel pool with Jean, Scott, Marie, and Remy. None of them felt like going anywhere since they were all too worried about Phoebe and Bobby. But despite how upset they all were, they were still managing to have a decent time.
Blake was sitting in a chair near the edge of the pool when a bellhop approached her and informed her that she had a call on the phone at the front desk. When she went walking toward the door Ruby stopped her, questioning what was going on.
"Not sure, I'll be back in just a second…" she replied to her friend calmly, leaving the pool and heading toward the lobby.
When she returned to the pool area she waved Trinity, Ruby, Kitty, and Tabitha over.
"Hey, I know we're all bummed about Bobby and Phoebs, but I think I know how to cheer ourselves up!" she told them with a small smirk.
"How, what do you have in mind?" Tabitha asked her, looking from her to the other girls and back.
"I just got invited to a party tomorrow night…" She told them to which they all looked even more confused until Ruby went wide eyed then smirked.
"I don't know about you guys, but I would love to go to a Tony Stark party!" She replied making the other girls gasp in understanding, before giggling and say that they absolutely had to go.
